We enjoyed an evening watching a live band.

We came to watch Colcannon on Friday 26th July. Fantastic music! The staff were so friendly and helpful. My only complaint is no real coke only diet or zero options. The additives in these cause me major health issues.

Unbelievably rude door staff and management! We ordered drinks at last orders and then the staff instantly started to aggressively clear the pub. Our full table had full drinks! We tried to give them feedback on how unacceptable this was which just lead to a big argument with the door staff. It could be a cool bar if it wasn't for the door staff or people running it! Avoid this place especially at closing time!

Nice bar with a great atmosphere after seeing a show. Live band and good music. Only down side was the staff shouting last orders, but then after a short time not just insisting we leave our recently purchased drinks, actually turning the lights off!!

Called in after a concert at open air theatre and it was lovely, met some new friends and bumped into friends from home which was lovely

Good place for a drink in the late afternoon, absolutely no clue how busy it gets in the evening but given it's location I'd guess it does get busy.

Always pop in when in Scarborough, Atmosphere is always great, however was ignored/not seen by the barmaid on Tuesday afternoon/evening, hoping this is a one off and when we nxt go in she can see us waiting/serve us without us having to ask. Music is always on. It is always a warm and comfy place. Dog friendly, and the Guinness is always tasty. We have not had food, so can not comment.

Was in Scarborough for a little mini break and caught the comedy night here. Cracking night had a really good time would definitely return when next in the area.

This place is a dump and the owner is an IRA sympathiser any one frequenting such a place supports them too in my opinion

4 of us called into the bar for a few drinks. We live locally and our two friends live further south, but really liked the atmosphere and style of the oub. We all drank Guiness, which was perfect. The bar team are always friendly and helpful

Looked like a lovely place with great atmosphere but unfortunately weren't serving food for 2 weeks which is what we went there for.

Best Irish Pub in Scarborough! Live music on Friday and Saturday Nights. Demi and staff are very friendly. It's definitely a good place to start your weekend.

What a great place to get a drink and enjoy the company of your friends and others by far it has the best management and bartenders around highly recommend stopping and getting one of the ice cold beers on tap definitely coming back

Stopped here for a pint on our travels. It was early on a Saturday but looked like it would be a great night out. Good selection of beers, clean and tidy.

Warm and friendly place..the band on Saturday night were far too loud though (it's only a small bar), landlord's need to monitor and correct the sound levels as required for the comfort of customers

Sad to see Jay and Chelsey go! They were amazing at running the place shame can’t say the same for the new management, not polite at all, don’t seem to care for the welcome of customers, constantly on phones ignoring what’s going on around them. Staff on last night were great making me and my wife feel welcome definitely would come back to see them again. I can see this pub going down hill and lasting 5 minutes with the so called management that are nothing more than kids

If I could rate this place higher, I absolutely would. Me and my fiance came here today for some pub grub, and ended up eating some very high quality, freshly cooked food. It's the first time we've had a couple of hours child-free time in a long time, and I'm so happy we chose that time to spend in here. I had an Inch's cider and a Steak Rebel sandwich, and my fiance got a pint of Birra Morretti and a Leprechaun burger. The food was absolutely 10/10 in all aspects and certainly not what we expected from a pub setting. It's got such a great atmosphere - the pub is very clean, spacious and has excellent Irish folkstyle songs playing. The staff were super friendly (perfect for introverts like me!) and we felt right at home there. As my parents have recently moved to Scarborough, we will be making a point to visit every time we come over - such a shame there isn't one closer to us!

Great place for drink and meeting up with friends. Absoloute fantastic staff we come most weekends. Bloke with pony tail and waistcoat very friendly also other lady with pink hair super friendly. Always makes a fuss of our dogs offering water and treats. They get excited when she comes over with treat bag. Not tried food yet whats your recommendations 😂

Friendly bar with a great atmosphere

Visited this afternoon with person in wheel chair, lady with glasses behind bar very helpful showed us side door to use , recommended places to eat as no food on today. Maybe need signage to show wheel chair users how to get in if it's busy at bar would visit again if food is on. But lady was great with her service thank you we visited Wednesday afternoon so unsure if food is not on this day

This is the second time we have been here, hence why we came again today friendly and helpful Staff and being dog friendly was a bonus, Rosie, our dog, was impressed with the dog treats we were more than impressed by the way we're treated extremely welcoming. we will be back any in the near future big thanks to Meral.

Was excellent service today, they had a brilliant selection of drinks and the food was delicious. Best meal out I've had in a long time and the welcoming nature of the staff was very relaxing and homely. Would definitely go again.

This place buzzes., the food , especially sliders. Is really tasty and can not fault the service . A new upgraded menu is out this week do looking forward to trying it out.

Meral was absolutely the best host ever, a credit to the pub, great atmosphere a live Irish band was playing could of stayed all night, gave this pub a second chance after previous barmaid was extremely rude thank god we did, faith restored
