McDonald's, Skegness - Grand Parade in East Lindsey

The food was hot and they got my order right, that would have been 5 stars for a McDonald's, but whoever was responsible for slicing the muffins clearly thought they were playing Fruit Ninja. I haven't rated the atmosphere because let's face it, I was in Skegness out of season on a cold morning. The place was unlikely to be full of people in the throes of ecstasy, celebrating life. Other than that, you've got to love a McDonald's breakfast.

Slow staff lukewarm food.used to be a great place. But not now.

Snails would serve me quicker than this bunch

So I've been multiple times now and everytime I'm waiting like 20 mins for my order. Then when I do get it allways looks like they just thrown it all together. Certainly not worth the wait seems it's a fast food chain

The slowest service I think I have ever seen. Also, the way an older staff member (Catherine) spoke to a younger was appalling. Needs following up.

The staff somehow missed orders, some were waiting over 40 minutes and many cancelled and asked for their money back.

No tea coffee yes but to have no tea at lunch time you have to be kidding. We ate elsewhere

The place is absolutely filthy and this is breakfast time so fries would’ve been from last night. Food was cold. Staff face like a wet weekend. No manners can’t even get orders right

The young lady at the drive through collection till gave us the wrong order, after we pointed it out, she had a terrible attitude. Then she forgot to give us sauces for the chicken nuggets and only stared at us when we told her.

Always packed so they tend to make food in advance and it can be cold by the time you get it if there's a lull. Also it's very often not cleaned in a timely manner with bins full and spilling over. Not the best! We would generally get our food and eat it in the car!

The usual good McDonald's place and service.

Extremely expensive nowadays, especially for anything bacon & a normal drink with a topping on it.

I’ve just been in for breakfast and it was very quiet but disappointed to find all the tables not very clean. Staff friendly but why not keep busy and have some pride in your job and workplace.

Everytime I drive through i be there first and the only person waiting to order Then a white person pulls up yes they get served first tried on serval occasions same thing there racist there no doubt about it

Absolutely disgusted to find egg shell in my child’s breakfast. Customer service when ringing up was appalling as all they could offer was another mc muffin despite the fact I had just travelled to my home in chapel for me to return back to this mc Donald’s , which was too far for me to do so. And As shown below this could of been a chocking hazard for my child if it was to have been stuck in there throat 😡

We visited the Skegness site in the town centre and it’s a complete joke. The service was very slow and the food was cold by the time we got it. I’m not sure anyone is actually running the place as everyone is running around headless/ Clueless

We visited McDonald's on a Thursday morning, just before lunch for a hot drink and a small snack. This was our first visit to any McDonald's in many years and we were surprised by how things had changed. Ordering was only available by using the touch screens or the McDonald's app as there were no staff at the tills, only in the kitchen. The ordering and payment process was very straightforward and it was easy to find the items we were looking for. The machines also let you choose whether you want to collect your food from the counter or have it brought to your table. We opted to wait at the counter and didn't have to wait too long for our order number to be called. The lady who gave us our food was very friendly and welcoming. Despite it being fairly quiet, the toilets here weren't the cleanest, although they were usable.

Food cold by the time we got it plus it took half an hour to get it by that time we had all had our drinks so not great at all

Very quick service through the drive thru. The lady at the first window was very polite taking the order and the young lady who gave us our drinks was also very polite. I asked how long I could have in the carpark and she informed me 90 minutes which was helpful. We sat and had our coffees and the only real let down of the entire visit was a young employee flying in to the carpark in his car (silver vauxhall) whilst in uniform. It didn't set a good standard and lowered the score of our visit.

It's probably better if you do a take-away rather than a dine in. One time I actually had to wait over an hour for my food. I almost had to get a refund for it, but I eventually got it in the end because the lady we were sitting with called in a manager to deal with the situation. The staff were friendly, atleast. The toiletries were very cleanly, although there was quite a bit of rubbish outside the building, and the staff did nothing about it. The play area is always closed nowadays, and the food quality was good but not exceptional. The Coke and fries were great but the burger could of been better. Cheese was stuck to the wrapping, and the patty didn't look too good, it's completely different to what the ads show you. Atleast it tastes good. I'd recommend going to another McDonalds.

Used the drive through. Waited for at least 5 minutes at the window, chips weren't salted but they did give me a sachet. Nuggets were stone cold!

Used the drive through for 3 meals and the lady on the second window was so helpful and friendly. Asking about our day & what plans we had, just made the visit more enjoyable so thank you :)

Always really busy here so you may have a little wait but nothing too bad. Staff are always busy cleaning and helping people.

I have just got a drive through maccys for my kids spent £31.00 and they charged me 50p for a garlic mayo and some how there staff can't put it in the bag. So go into the store to collect the sauce that they can't but in the bag but take my money for to get told this is a till and you will have to wait there I have been stood there for 5 Mins at this point while my daughter food gets cold to be told I have got to wait for someone to pass me a sauce that I have paid for never have seen such poor customer service in all my days unbelievable!!!

It was easy to park and service was quick.

This mcdonalds was horrendous I was here on holiday waited a hour for food to be cold looked like it been thrown together staff didn't have a clue people asking for refunds asking for manager still taking orders eventually stopped orders as they couldn't keep up sorry needs to get management that know how to run a store obviously the manager at this store didn't have a clue wont t be going there again

Went in on Friday lunch and never seen such a bad show of service. To say it was half term there wasn't enough staff on to cover the demand. 35mins to wait for three meals was actually shocking. Half of the food was cold by this point and so was the coffee that I had ordered my husband. I couldn't imagine how bad it must be in peak season. The priority was the drive thru customers and you could see that. Not only the service but you could see that the place was dirty ( even without that amount of customers in) where we sat you could see in the corners of the seating all of the old food and crumbs. Was so hungry by this point we had to eat but we won't be returning that's for sure.

McDonald's Right In The Heart Of Skegness, Very Useful To Have But Also Extremely Busy During The Day.

The staff have not got a clue what's going on, we waited over half hour for our food, even though we could see that it was sat there, the manager should be there to encourage the staff to get things moving and flowing efficiently bit that didn't seem to be the case here, yes I understand that it's a busy place and maybe a few more members of staff could be needed, bit I'm just pleased it wasn't on the height of summer as when young kids are sat / stood waiting for food they get very irritable, there was plenty of others nit only complaining in line waiting bit also tried to complain to members of staff who seemed very uninterested in a complaint, and to find things missing on the food order when we eventually got it was just unbelievable. Not a happy experience

Waited 45 minutes for food, every order they did was wrong, the manager went to get our food and even she got it wrong. The whole experience was a joke. Avoid at all cost.

Have been to quite a few McDonald's and unfortunately this has to rate one of the poorest I've encountered, the main grip is the ordering and not getting it right. Also the amount of time having to wait, I know it is a busy establishment but waiting over 20 mins for an order is pretty bad for a so called fast food chain. When I did mention that a mistake was made with the order I got a manger with an attitude no becoming of McDonalds

By far the worst Macdonalds I ever been. The place looked absolutely disgusting, staff were rude and unpleasant. I hate to give this sort of review but I can't help it.

Good service didn't wait too long

Omg never again i waiting 25mins for my meals and ask after 20 what was the problem as my order was sat on side she said waiting on drinks i said but food been sat there for 20 mins and getting cold she said i will get you another if it is was really and wait another 25 mins two of the h/browns were that over cooked has no fillings and rest of meal cold Then some one asked for there meals and the young girl was so rude and then laughing with the other staff. Toilets well were disgusting. Never will i go there again .

Due to being the only Mcdonalds in Skegness no one cares when you report any concern Hygiene standards leave a lot to be desired. Customer service fob you off when you contact them with concerns in this branch by sending a generic email and Nothing changes.

Very busy, only three of the six ordering terminals was working, toilets were broken.

This place is far too small for the amount of people using it.

Surprisingly the food was hot for a change and pretty quick however after visiting the toilets I wish I never ate there. Staff are very rude and hide in the back,nobody ever comes to the tills even if shouted. Very grubby outside too. It I'd filthy. Visited after a night at the theatre and it was not too busy. Quick service and usual McDonalds food, so was nice.

Used the drive through on the way home after a night in skeggy, had to park in the car park and wait for my order, I wasn't the only one either, there were about 10 others waiting too,people use the drive through as a matter of convenience and quickness, we may as well parked up and gone inside, need to either stop taking orders at the drive through when it gets that busy, as the car park isn't that big and people were struggling to find somewhere to park

Staff was more interested in having a laugh and messing around in which a few customers was wrong and slow service

Terrible experience here yesterday. Ordered 1 cheeseburger happy meal, took 20 minutes, the fries were boiling hot so our toddler who'd already waited 20 mins had to wait even longer for them to cool down. Staff weren't apologetic about the wait, and it was just quite an unclean, uninviting environment. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Absolutely shocking service, we are hear for a weekend and poped in to get the little ones a snack, it was extremely busy so we expected a wait. However after waiting 15 minutes and still no sign of our food I asked where it was. The so called manager with no name badge (now I no why) just said "well people have waited longer". No apology or explanation he was so un professional and rude. Not even a smile ,NEVER AGAINthe only reason I've given 1 stars reviews is becaus it wouldn't let me post without.

Consistently appalling, having moved through the drive through queue at a glacially slow pace we arrived at the order point, ordered 3 meals only to be told there were no carbonated drinks, orange juice or water available, hot drinks and milkshakes only. We opted for the milkshake option. After collecting the food, prompting the server twice to include the requested sauce, napkins, staws and salt, we eventually drove off and parked up to eat. Now we know from experience the Skegness outlet is poor even by macdonalds very low standards and this time was no different. As usual the food was cold, the big mac looked like it had been in a road traffic accident, the chicken selects were over cooked to the point they were very dark brown and brittle and my daughters cheese burger was so disgusting she refused to take more than one bite. It's quite a feat to achieve serving a meal where the warmest bit of the entire thing is the milkshake, yes the milkshake was warmer than the food which was cold, so warm that it was just foamy liquid. Having experienced very low quality food from Skegness macdonalds every time we have been there (about 6 times in the past 2 years), we decided after yesterdays very bad experience we shall never visit again. We tried to leave a review using the code given on the till receipt but the website wouldn't play ball so I guess they are not interested in their customers opinions.

This macdonald's was very disappointing. The Toilets were dirty, the food was just about warm ,plus lots of midget insects flying around. The bins,and toilets.

Grubby, slow, burger I had was hard and cappuccino stone cold, my sons milk shake tasted vile and was like water.

Worst service I've ever seen. Extremely slow service. People meals missing and having to wait over 1 hour to get paid for food.. is a Extremely busy restaurant so take that in consideration when reading my comment.

Want to just say the guy on the drive though in Skegness McDonald is always so cheerful and brightens up my day when I visit. So many people leave reviews when they want to complain so thought it is only fair to comment when I think someone is polite happy and makes my experience something to enjoy. Many thanks Tom.

Shocking service this place wants closing down or new management. Over an hour wait for food . And It was cold absolutely disgusting

Just been in and it's not as advertised at all. Lazy staff with attitude problems and absolutely filthy toilets. Didn't bother to order because of the poor impression given. Won't ever use any MacDonalds again in case this is endemic in them all.

It's always almost an hour wait to get the food and the fact that it's on a Very popular place, it should be bigger, there are no places to sit and it's very cramped.

Took far too long for the food to arrive. While I waited for my wife to use the loo I asked a member of staff it there had been a problem, I will be careful how I say it but English must not have been her first language because she looked at me like I had two heads. She could not answer a simple question. I gave up and we went on our way. Not a good experience.

The most shocking McDonald's I've been to. I actually went twice. The day before I queued In the drive through, expected to be waiting a bit because it was mega busy. Waited about 20 minutes from the back of the queue to getting food which was quite slow but expected. However the day after I went in at 10:30 at night as I was travelling back home and needed something to eat before I went. 40 minutes later I was pissed off and angry because not only did it take that long to sort my order out, they had also lost my order so I had to wait extra time for it to be remade. Wasn't anything big either. Was literally a box of 20 chicken mugs to share and a kids happy meal. Didn't get any apology for the time it took, or the fact my order was "lost". Fast food???? What fast food?. If there was another place open or nearby then would have gone there. But never again. Worst place ever
