Cold food. Always get the order wrong. Take the order then tell you to park in the car park (because the grill bays are full). Sometimes 30minute wait for food. It's ridiculous 😒 rather drive the extra and go to abergele. Seems there is always lots of staff but nobody is actually aware of anything that needs doing. Clearly need a decent manager stepping in and cut the staffing and making a decent team.

Still terrible. Had to wait in carpark for food. Standard for this place. Wrong order brought out. My ticket stapled to wrong bag of food. When I did get my food, it was luke warm, rubbery hash browns!!! Devastating! Coffee wasn't hot. Its so terrible its actually funny at this point. Staff really really don't want to be there lol. How is this place still going??

7.45am sunday, two already waiting customers at the counter looking like they've lost the will to live. i wait to order but am totally ignored. After 6 minutes I went to the machine where the option, obviously, is to only pay by card. Note on door says no cold drinks, but i beg to differ, my super-watery Cappuccino eventually arrived more cold than warm (not joking) a full 12 minutes after my order was confirmed and paid for (as one of just three people in the place with nothing to do but look at watch I was reduced to this clockwatching - so it seemed like far longer). No point attempting to complain, i am ignored at the now empty counter... Thing is, as parents like 80 yards away, I've been here before and usually given up and walked out. THIS really is the normal service. I have NEVER written a review on service before, anywhere (despite a long career as a journalist), but this place is truly dire and has been since the day it opened. Bring back the Crowne Bard. If the Ffordd Derwyn pub is open opposite I would advise a speedier service. Seriously.

If waiting 15 minutes for a simple breakfast order in the drive-through isn't bad enough, the attitude of the shift manager (Ryan) is even worse and has prompted me to go to the effort of writing this review. I ordered a breakfast roll, got to the final window and was handed a breakfast wrap. I explained that this was wrong and was told to park up. After a wait, out comes another breakfast wrap. Again, I explained that this was wrong. Eventually I get the breakfast roll. By this point, the whole thing's taken 15 minutes. Annoying, but these things happen. After driving off I then realise that the hash brown is missing so I go in and politely ask to speak with the manager. Out comes Ryan who, after I explained all the above, immediately tries to pin the whole thing on me. Apparently it's my fault I didn't check the screen. The fact that the order was taken down wrong in the first place and they then got the order wrong another two times doesn't matter to Ryan. It's all on me. Eventually I just ask for the hash brown (or a refund) so I can get on my way. Absolutely no whiff of an apology or recognition that this whole stupid saga has taken so long. After receiving the final missing item, I asked Ryan if this is a franchise. He says yes but point-blank refused to give any information on who the franchisee is or how I may contact them. Apparently I should Google it and he doesn't know; hard to believe for someone who is a shift manager there. By this point he's getting pretty aggravated and making a bit of a scene so I decided to cut my losses and leave. Whoever the franchisee is, please sort this fella out. He's a bully and has absolutely no place in a leadership or management position.

My mum found a long white hair in her medium fries they replaced her chips but the were minging and cold. Them my brother had eaten half of his medium fries and found a dark shot balck hair in his chips. The staff we funny with me saying this can happen twice and it did. The manger came over and asked for the chips back which we did she they only replaced them with a small chips. My mum then went up to complain she paid for a medium fries not small the manger was very arsey with me and told me that my brother had eaten half of the chips. We are not happy at all with the service we have received today this the second time my mum has had to put a complaint in about this manger. Customer services have been informed.

I'm not surprised to read the other reviews, and can only echo them. Whoever decided that all cars should wait in the car park for their orders when the bays are full needs to rethink this appalling policy. It leads to overly long waits, young staff aimlessly wondering around the car park trying to find your car, and the food usually being cold by the time it gets to you. The only positive thing I can say is that the senior staff gave me a refund without question. I didn't have an order number or any way of identifying my order, but they just asked what I'd paid for and refunded it there and then. Reading the reviews, they've probably had plenty of practice getting that bit right.

Been many of times quiet & busy and no matter what the service is terrible the attitude of the staff on the drive through is ridiculous, never put any ice in drinks they just pile them up on the side so you have warm flat drinks, they have ice in the back just too lazy to go and get it. One time I was at the drive through window all the staff including the manager was arguing in front of me the way the manager speaks to the staff is awful no wonder they all look miserable in there. Sort yourselves out my 9 year old daughter even said she would be embarrassed to work there 🙈

This is the 7th time food missing from order. Whether you deliver or dry through it seems that staff are completely incapable of getting your order right worst mcdonalds in the area. Wouldn't even say its just when it busy I have been the only car and they still managed to think a big mac meal is the same as 20 chicken nuggets. And staff are completely useless with resolution of problems all you get is sorry we will be better next time completely diabolical

Appallingly slow. Had to walk out after waiting 15 minutes as had train to meet and still no food. My order and several other showed as "collect" on the board for 5 minutes but no show. Franchisee needs to properly staff for a Saturday evening.

This place should be reclassified as a car park delivery service not a drive through. I tried to be patient as I could see the staff were constantly delivering to cars parked up in the car park waiting for orders, but after 20 minutes I gave up and went in to get a refund. Even requesting this did not prompt my order to appear, although there were plenty of orders piled up on a trolley for delivery drivers that were coming and going. Maybe if they focus more on the serving customers that turn up at the "drive thru" they would get better reviews.

Let’s all start with a basic ‘hello, please can I help you’, it’s not asking for much. First impressions always count and this McDonald’s needs to go back to absolute basics. When ordering chicken nuggets it would be nice to ask, would you like a sauce? Once again I’ve had to ask, sadly when I got home no sauce in the bag. Chips warm and full of salt, straight to the bin. I guess it’s back to Abergele. Sort it out Rhyl if you care!

Ffordd Derwen Rhyl McDonalds- The food at this branch is a very poor standard. On multiple visits the food is what appears to be thrown into packaging and bags, upside down and fallen apart. Drinks dribbled down the sides of cups and on one occasion a really strange taste to a burger. When this issue was brought to the managers attention he swapped the burger but was very defensive and unprofessional. Avoid and travel to another McDonalds

I honestly have no words anymore. I have always been a loyal macdonalds customer and they treat me awfully here. If this was a relationship I would be an abused partner getting gaslighted. I order my food, they send me texts saying they will deliver my food, I even get emails and then the 'food' shows up missing items and cold. Then when you call uber it's a simple 'I'm sorry' the money will go back into your account in 5 business days. I don't want my money back I want the food I paid for. Even if you ask them if they can just drop the meal off it's just a 'you can reorder if you wish' (and pay the delivery fee again). I'm so upset, I want out of this relationship but I love macdonalds too much 😢

Ordered on app as couldn't Park in disabled bay due to mcdonald's delivery drivers using them. (I am in wheelchair ) order came out missing items and with no stirrers for coffee. Spoke to them about delivery drivers taking up disabled spaces and they just said they always use that spot.

I consider it basic to take an order via a computer into the cooking area out to the person. Every time I have visited this McDonald’s the order is wrong, from a missing drink to a burger missing. Constantly missing either a straw or napkins. I understand soft openings where you have an opportunity ti get things right and wrong. But we’re months down the line and I am fed up with incorrect orders. Back ti basics for staff and management!

Missing food !!!!!! Family Saturday Take Away Ruined Attitude of Manager Ian - stinks who has trained this man to deal with issues and his assistant manager? This is about principle that they can’t even put a few burgers in a bag correctly and the attitude you’re met with when contacting the restaurant. They Expect you to drive back at your own expense, then the humiliation of going to the counter like a peasant to claim back what’s rightfully yours. Why not tell the customer to Retain the receipt and when convenient to call in and all items will be replaced for you to enjoy as originally planned. Surely every bit of food is accounted for hence how he said he wanted the other food back to replace with the correct food, this indicates all food is countable. This way you can check the claims are genuine?! Total contradiction to the first manager I spoken to who was very vague in the process regards missing food. This S & VE Williams Franchise is badly managed , with poor management, poor training skills and poor customer service. I have emailed the Franchise email on the receipt and will post again on how long they take to respond. This is the last time you rip me off and all the other customers that you do it to as per other reviews ! You have to ask yourself is it policy to “forget” to bag food so Mcds can then gain more profit. It makes you wonder as I’m sure like myself many others would feel embarrassed going to claim a couple of quids with of burgers back. It’s all very calculated on their behalf. Just ordered a Uber eats from here and received no chocolate milkshake that I ordered with my meal, with a hand written note on a napkin stating “no chocolate milkshake soz” plus no replacement drink, this McDonalds has not even been open that long and I am getting this kind of service already I find it appalling. They need some proper management in there if staff are getting away with doing that to peoples orders. Wont be ordering from there again!

Clean and quick. Great customer service. One employee offered to help me carry condiments back to my table, another who brought over the food was friendly and engaged with the children. Even my kids commented the staff here weren't like other McDonald's.

I still can’t believe how bad this place is. It’s actually comical at how BAD it is. Fancied proper fish and chips and spotted what I thought was a genuine chippy right on the front in a perfect location. Queued up to be greeted by the most miserable young girl who stared straight through my soul. Ordered and managed to find a seat. It was chaotic and not clear who’s order was being called. Food came in a tray and I said do you have knife and fork to which they said yes there’s a fork in it. Flimsiest fork in the world. Went back to pay for sauce as they are not free. Well it was cheaper then cheap chips barely cooked and the worst fish ever seen in life. Like one of them cheap battered frozen ones. All batter no fish, and not a nice batter like from a proper chippy! Thank god didn’t come across the rude man from all the other reviews. Maybe the girls were so miserable as work with him. God knows. Nice reminder to check reviews before I spend my money anywhere! Don’t even know how the hell this has stayed in business. Avoid at all costs it’s vile

Overpriced and undercooked. And that was just the chips. If you can't cook chips properly, what's the point? Moody staff, at least they said please though when giving me the over-price.

Orders of Uber eats was told it would arrive about 01:45am it’s late I then click get help tells me it will arrive at 2am then it still hasn’t arrived at 02:30am I call them no answer just some advice don’t order here when it’s late they’ll take your money then not deliver
