Poor service, i used the driver through, only one car in front off me , still had to wait 5 to 10 mins for my food . the staff did not seem to care and as for service or being polite no chance. I drive home no more then 3mins , started to eat only to found the fries ere cold very cold and the big mac luke warm .

Shocking that this branch is allowed to continue with the level of service and the food quality being absolutely dire. Food always wrong from the app and slow inside and at the drive thru. Really needs a new manager and some staff that actually give two hoots.

I shouldn't really be writing a review on a McDonald's but this place is the pits. I hardly ever visit but when I get the urge for a burger this is my local and every time it's shambolic. Impossible to order at the till and actually speak to a person so you either have to order on the app or the touch screen inside. Your order then gets ignored as priority is given to drive through customers and when you finally get it , it has been standing there for ages and is freezing cold( if you get the correct order in the first place ). I would say avoid at all cost , but I'm afraid the good people of Walkden would disagree as it's probably their once a week treat after a visit to the Stocks pub nearby.

Worst mcdonald’s I’ve ever experienced. Been coming here for 26-27 years. Always something not available or machines broken. Always something missing when you order through Uber. The food isn’t great either. Seem to be fully focussed on Uber orders and don’t care about restaurant visitors

This has got to be the worst McDonald’s in the country, workers there clearly don’t care in the slightest about the food or standard of service. Every time I’ve ordered from here on the off-chance “it might be okay this time” they’ve always messed up my order and it’s always cold and they never bother to put straws or sauces in. It’s like they find it funny ripping people off cos how hard is it to put some sauces in a bag when they’re right next to you??? Ordered two burgers and two fries via Uber eats and only got the burgers. And instead of getting the fries that I paid for all I got was a refund which I won’t see for days. Absolutely livid as I’ve had a long tiring day and I’m still starving and have nothing to eat at home. This place is an absolute joke, do not waste your money. I’ve learnt my lesson now and will never order from there or go there again. From now on if I want takeaway I’ll spend my money ordering from a place that can actually get orders right and wraps up food properly so it doesn’t get cold like KFC or subway or Dominoes. Never had an issue ordering from any of those places and they’re right next to McDonald’s. Crazy

Abysmal food and service!! Waited over 20 mins for freezing cold food, no apology….prioritized the Uber deliveries! Queue was none existent so expected a quick and hot delivery, nope….should be free

Just watched two staff members preparing the breakfast’s, while waiting for my order. Just throwing the food onto the bap’s, not watching what they were doing just chatting, hands all over the food, I am sure that they regularly wash their hands, every 1/2 hr as McDonald’s stress on there web page. I would have thought that they would take a little more care when presenting food to customers, my food was hanging out all over the place. Place it on the bap’s correctly first time and then you will not need to adjust the food with your hands. Maybe a training session on how to place food on to a Mc Muffin would be useful. Also it would be a good idea if the managers did some quality checks. Don’t often go to McDonald’s but was in a rush to get to work, don’t think I will bother to go again in the future, not to this one. Some McDonald’s are excellent, but not this one.

Not for the first time has our order been wrong going through the drive through.. items missed off the order and items wrong on the order!!! Tried to phone and no answer!! Joke of a place

Just been the drive thru asked for a double sausage and egg mcmuffin got home to a bacon and egg bagel I'm sure they do it on purpose, how hard is it to get what you ask and pay for

I am very disappointed with the service, I had ordered and paid for 3 mc flurries and 1 mini mc flurry, the Galaxy caramel mc flurries came with no caramel sauce ?? Also they had made a mistake of giving us 2 mini mc flurries instead of the normal sized ones, the female member of staff which was stood in the background was saying they had ran out of large cups and they wouldn't put extra ice cream in the small one, baring in mind I had paid for the normal sized. I was disappointed with the female staff members attitude and will not be revisiting this McDonalds again.

My partner, his son and I visited here for a quick evening meal. We ordered our food and the service was easy and quick. My partner started eating his burger and realised it had a hair on it. Before we had chance to decide what to do a member of staff had overheard our conversation and immediately offered her apologies. She took the burger and replaced it with a fresh one.I was happy at that point but I continued to watch how this lady worked. There were a group of teenage boys in the place and I heard her asking them to be quiet once their voices were raised. Within ten minutes of her initially “telling the boys off” I could see her laughing along with them. She had clearly gained their respect and that was a pleasure to witness. The lady offered her apologies again to ourselves and we left feeling respected and not bothered at all about the mishap with the burger. I asked the lady what her name was and she said “Carole” This lady deserves the upmost respect for not only being a hard working employee of your company but also working with absolutely charm. She’s a credit to your company. Thank you Carole x

I have had 3 lots of hot chocolate's from there now and they can't get it right at all. The staff must be to busy chit chatting about there lives as when I got home with the recent one it looked like a puddle of muddy water and when I mixed it and tasted it, it tasted like dirt! I don't pay money for bad service and I think you should get better staff in. Your useless and don't care about customers at all! Do your job properly guys or just go home....

Terrible service. Is somebody pocketing the money off the order. This service is dreadful . Won’t be using agin

Just picked up my order after a 23 minute wait at the drive they, not only is my order incorrect but the girl supposed to be serving me was on her phone the entire time and I watched her pocket change from our cars second cash order. Horrendous service and a very inefficient set up.

We have been to so many mc. Donald’s, but none as slow as this one! I mean... it always takes over 20 minutes to actually get to the window to pick up your food. The worst of all is that every single time, when you arrive to the window, is that you find the staff just having a laugh with each other and not actually working. They’re in no rush! It’s actually ridiculous!

Me and my wife went in mcdonalds 2 days ago and bought a small burger meal and chicken nuggets at around 7pmThat evening we were both extremely violently ill. We both had to take the next day off work and couldn't keep any liquids or food down for the whole day. Had to stay in bed being sick and feeling faint all day. Following day felt a little better. Mcdonalds is all we had eaten since breakfast that morning.

I must confess to being a drive through fan - true laziness one may argue but my working days are very busy so the speed of the drive through appeals to me. At least in theory. However Walkden Mcdonalds drive through rarely seems to produce instant food. I'd guess around 50% of the lunchtimes I visit I have to park up and wait for the food to come out to me. Last week they managed a best - or rather worst - time, keeping me sitting there for around 7 -8 mins. I work close to Mcdonalds so was sitting down to eat in around 3-4 mins of collecting the food.....so given the wait for them to cook my Big Tasty with bacon, you might assume I ate piping hot food. Right? Wrong!! It seems that not only do Mcdonalds often not have enough food ready at lunchtime to give me my order straight away, but they are incapable when that does happen of making all the food hot. How the big tasty wasn't piping hot when they had just made it god only knows, but to be fair the chips were. It'd been nearly 6 hours since breakfast so I added 9 nuggets to my order. I really like the nuggets (preferred them before they cut the salt out, but what'cha gonna do?) normally but these were rank. Luke-warm at best, and the coating hard and pulling away from the nuggets. Who knows how long they'd been sitting around going cold. Probably more than the time I sat in my car waiting, at a guess. This isn't the first time when i've waited for food it's come out at significantly different temperatures. It's quite common. But I think it it'll be the last time, as I can't see me doing that again in a hurry. May still call in for the odd sausage and egg breakfast burger, as they always have them ready and they're usually hot. But otherwise last week was just the latest disappointment making me wonder why I still go there.

Took two grandchildren for an after school treat at 4.30pm - will choose another time in future, as packed out. However, the burgers were good and the kids enjoyed them. Disappointing to see the staff dominating the outside tables during their break, when there were families wanting to sit outside in the sun - is this a business or not?

Called in to pick up a quick ( ha right!) snack after the rugby. Took at least 25 mins to get served during which time the first two meals got eaten whilst we were waiting for the others to arrive. Given extra fries for the inconvenience on just one meal ( just what I needed - extra portion of the soggy fries, yum). Near to family home but will never call here again. Total disorganisation, dirty interior, cold food because it was left standing on the side for too long whilst attempting to sort out orders. Would have been quicker to have bought the ingredients in Tesco next door and gone home and cooked them!

Called here for coffee on the way to a meeting. The drive through was fast and friendly. The coffee was typical McDonald’s which I don’t mind. Overall pleasant.

I was the first in the queue and I was ignored for 5 minutes until they took my order, I had to stand there waiting for another 4 minutes for my cold Wrap and soggy cold fries. Full of rowdy horrible kids, and of course nothing is done about it.The only good thing I can say about this place is the cleaner is very polite and helpful, there should be more people like her working there.Also, make sure you get your receipt, they do not give you it so you can not report feedback to McDonald's, I asked for mine and they told me it's not working, hmmm

Every time I drive through this mcs I have to park up! It's suppose to be fast food and the quickest I've ever had my order is 10 mins after parking up!! Once I get home it's hit or miss how nice the food is.....

La comida siempre estaba frío, lento y miserable, siempre recibe su servicio de orden equivocada. A cualquier hora del día el coche por que siempre preguntan u ir y esperar en el aparcamiento! Incluso mis hijos tienen comida desde aquí, creo que mi perro codicioso sin demasiado! No vayas a KFC ya sea en esta finca. . Se debe algo en el aire, que es atroz! No tires tu dinero!

Cada vez que llame en este mcdonalds no importa cuán grande o pequeña es su orden cómo siempre piden que aparcar luego cuando sale hay un 90% oportunidad algo falta. El personal es grosero y no tienen habilidades de servicio al cliente, aparte de la una o dos personas. La mayoría del personal es grosero el gerente es siempre gritando. Nada es nunca trabajar cuando quieras y me atrevo a pensar que la limpieza si no consigues nada más justo la comida sólo tiene un sabor desagradable y es como veneno! ! No volveré aquí y recomiendo no probarlo aquí te quedarás con hambre y un horrible sabor de boca

Perfect fast food for adults and kids,,,we used to go once a week with our kids , they love the kids menu with toys inside,very nice

Took 20 minutes to get served then order was incorrect, wanted med meal but paid for large then received a cold med meal with an over full Coke, so when I picked it up it leaked all over me and stain whit shirt complained to Matthew meal was cold who then went to manager. On Matthews return I received a child's portion of fries and a child's Coke to top up what I had lost ! But in theory I had paid for a large meal Manager never came over to even see what problem was just kept sending Mathew with another child's portion of chips

Excellent place to go,everything is well clean and the staff do anything for you to make you welcome,a rare example around here,well done

This is an archetypal McDonalds BUT if you're hungry and on the way to the M61 for a longish journey home then who can resist the drive through for a warm quality snack at a reasonable price ?? Open all hours !!

Evita este lugar nunca su pedido correcto! Y yo realmente significa que incluso si tienes una orden!!comida es muy normal y el servicio es pobre. Mottram McDonald's, que está mucho mejor rápido eficiente y no el personal no podía ser más agradable y servicial. Tengo que viajar para ir esta noche para recoger 3 porciones de picaduras velada queso mi compañero ordenados en el a través de en coche. ¿Por qué debería creo que tienes que revisar su orden cada vez bien usted aquí ... No malgastes tu dinero o la gasolina.

we where out shopping on way back went this place for quick burger. The burger is little cold but tasty.
