Mcdonald's Restaurants in Watford

Popped in for a late lunch (5 of us). Great service from Mailo who greeted us at the door, took us to a table, took our order at the till and presented our food. He was friendly and helpful.

I didn't, and don't, visit McDonald's. I sat on a bench outside the Mucky Clowns Penge safehouse.

Place is clean ...im alone in the shop, and still they needed 20mins to prepare my two item order....🤦🏻‍♂️

Customer is not good, I guess they need to focus on customer as well instead of flirting with one customer. I have asked multiple times to provide me tissues but after a while I thought to leave.

Not 24 hours. Always closed before 11.30.

I placed orders here many times everytime a burger would be missing and tonight they missed my mchicken and then added half eaten burger meat and my double quarter pounder

Like all McDonalds now. Not fast food but wait 20 mins at least and staff are about as Rude as rude can be because I asked how long my order would be. Scooter riders driving on pavement take priority not people with only a 30 min lunch break. Vile people with no people skills

Fantastic ordering experience the delivery delivered fantastically fresh food straight from the hallowed halls of the hot kitchen! Generous portion sizes abound.

Avoid waited over 40mins for my coffee and food, rude staff & food was cold McDonald’s need to take back this franchise.

I real hate to say this because the staff are great but over whelmed with delivery orders. Walk in customers are are waiting double the time. I've seen this at several McDonald's now. But small restaurants like this get hit the worse. When did McDonalds stop being "Fast Food"?

Just placed an order via the McDonald's app. The delivery driver (uber) was very good, and fast. The issue I have is the person who packed the order. They missed an item of my order. Also the food was not very nice, buns were burnt and very dry.

Absolute shameless in the back can see fries ect sitting under the heat lamp for 20.mins arrived cold and wilted also burger was cold. Asked to exchanged waited another 20 mins absolutely should be checked by food standards . . Something is def wrong in this shop need head office to come down and inspect and spend 3 days in the back . God help we all don't get food poisoning or lack of staff or leadership in this place . Customers always irate when I visit. Get something sorted mcdonalds

Poor customer service. Long queues for delivery drivers. Managers and staff non hats...no black shoes no proper black trousers..no uniform at all...look like normal chicken shop...

Got two double sausage and egg mcmuffin meals for a take out. Got the food in under 5 minutes.

Went around 9pm ordered my food with no issue and encountered a very rude lady who seemed to be complaining about everything. Even went to the extent of stopping someone else from getting their food so she could be served first. The staff dealt with her in the nicest and best way they could. Top job. Great value for price

This place always makes mistakes Either my order is missing something Or there will be another problem with the food. Today I ordered large fries and it looks like I got small fries instead. Honestly these guys need more due diligence Quite possibly the worst McDonald's ever with the amount of mistakes they make

hassan is an absolute legend. i came last night around midnight with my mates and there was a lot of delivery drivers all shouting over one another, calling hassans name and telling him their order number. under all this stress with a constant flow of orders and demand from the drivers, hassan navigated his way around keeping a cool head and getting on with it. he stood out from his other colleagues and flew with flying colours. he didn’t shout at anyone or get rude to anyone, he just simply out his head down and worked fast but efficiently. even when it came with my order, he took the extra step to make sure that everything was right and if i needed anymore sauces, which i’ve almost never encountered before from any other mcdonald’s employee. the food wasn’t exactly amazing but it’s understandable considering the work pressure on the guys preparing the food, but hassan was only serving the till and handing on orders so i blame the man for nothing, am only thankful for him. honestly i was really impressed by him, hassans a real one. please give him a raise, he deserves it. thank you hassan, we appreciate you!

I would like to make clear all my indignation with the employee who called herself Abigail. her characteristics, she is a woman of short height and black skin color. totally rude to drivers and customers. I ask that McDonalds train their employees better or have a conversation with her so she can be nicer and do her job better. She works at night

Worst , and rude night manager ,who called her self Abigail Very rude towards all the driver , and all customers waiting,outside , she used verbal language to drive inside store , and refused to give orders to driver and customer all waiting for foods to be delivered , she’s ( Abigail ) constantly being rude to all the drivers and , I seeing being very rude to member of all staff and customers,!!!

Online order took over an hour to prepare and deliver and when delivered was cold and missing half the items ordered.

If I could leave 0 I honestly would , the amount of the time this store has messed up my order is honestly disgusting it’s always they forget the sauces or they forget the drinks or even the food! This time 😆 guess what I’m allergic to beef and guess what I got sent in what was supposed to be a chicken burger and nuggets 2 quarter pounder they got my order entirely wrong this store should honestly close and get new management clearly the ones that work there now, just can’t be capable of getting something so simple right!

Constantly missing items when ordering online. After complaining, they are saying you can come and pick it up. But if you are ordering delivery in the first place you don't want to dress up and drive 10 minutes to collect a burger they forgot about! Instead you can get a refund through Uber Eats. For some reason the amount of money is smaller then I paid for! It calls flat fee refund!

Asked for double cheese burger with no cheese I’m allergic and look what they gave me The fool who made this needs a slap and retraining jokeman Since the refurb this place has been a joke, you can’t see in the kitchen and therefore can’t see your food getting prepped or how long it’s been sitting there before it’s bought out The workers are extra slow now because they know they can’t be seen save your money and go to bell green

*March 2024 Update* Walk in at 9.30pm, restaurent almost empty, already being cleaned and areas closed off. Takes 25 minutes to get my order. Absolutely shocking. They were making 1 order per 5 minutes. At a McDonald's. Luckily I only come here as a last resort. * March 2023 update! * Taking 25-30 mins to get your order here with terrible attitude from staff. Likely understaffed as well. GO TO McDonald's Bell Park Retail Park which is FAR better and more efficient. 10 Mins away. Really slow service from apparently bored and un-motivated staff. Lots of visible frustration from customers. Terrible quality food. Overall a terrible McDonald's with low standards.

Worst experience I had in any Mcdonald. Slow service, bread hard food quality not good. Lady behind the counter rude did not even apologise for delay or speak when ask for the order just throw it at me. Drink no gas.

Very poor this time. The chicken mayo was dreadful..limp lettuce..stale bun..the fries were so so and had to wait ages..seem to prioritise delivery orders. Would have asked for a refund or replacement but didn't have the time as it took so long in the first place.

It's Mcdonald you get what you pay for and I think that's stating to become over priced

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for the past six months no matter how many times you order, you will get the exact same saggy fries with no taste the same big Mac with no taste most of the times your order will be wrong. You also receive other peoples food instead of yours. I am shocked by the ability to send proper fries to your customers. Why do they have to be saggy and soft and so grey and bland and disgusting. When do you guys start to work and do your jobs there? I wonder

Generally a good experience on this occasion. Ordered a coffee, and it came quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean. This restaurant is smaller in terms of seating than it looks and can get quite busy. On previous visits, this restaurant has been overrun by rude and pushy deliveroo type delivery persons. Whose constant poor behaviour wherever they go, the industry frankly needs to deal with.

Music too loud. Very little staff presence on the front counter. Staff very friendly just not visible at all. Toilet sinks have had no running water for months now.

Rubbish food, and order was wrong

Order online. A full menu was missing. Straw and tissue were missing too.

Ordered a meal costing £40 total with a peri peri bbq pot as sometimes find Nando’s quite dry. They sent every sauce except the one I ordered and when I called to ask for it to be delivered they kept repeating ‘we cannot redeliver but we will refund £1 for the pot’. £1 when a £40 meal is ruined and I can’t get what I ordered actually delievered. Pathetic rubbish customer service and mediocre food.

Worst McDonald's I have ever been in. Despite it not being busy the service was the slowest I have ever experienced. Customer service and interaction None.

Popped in to grab a quick coffee which took over 20 mins to come out. The was no staff at the counter to ask for help.

Terrible service. They get away with it because it’s a big company. Took 2 hours to get my food yesterday. It was cold and stale. No refund given because it’s the almighty McDonald’s.

Staff at this branch obviously can't read. For the 3rd time they've got my delivery order wrong. My advice is go to Burger King as they never get it wrong.

Went into the penge high street branch in penge had to order at the till as needed a voucher scanned was totally ignored for at least 5 minutes then a member of staff asked if we wanted to pay we replied no we have a voucher which needs to be scanned to which she disappeared behind the counter and told another staff member we were left waiting another 10 so we left without ordering as we were walking out the original staff member called us back too late we had been totally ignored no excuses as the restaurant wasn't busy. Never going back to this branch in penge

Worst service EVER! My daughter was waiting for 20 minutes for our order, I went to see what was happening and was ignored by all staff. Except a lovely lady who was taking orders to tables. She told the manager people were waiting to speak to him and he refused to come out! After another 10 minutes I saw the manager and asked where my food was as been waiting for half an hour he just smirked and walked off. Eventually my food came out. Got to the car and opened my egg and cheese muffin and a bit of bacon fell out!!! Unfortunately our previous visit here a couple of months ago was no better. Waited ages for our late night McFlurrys and the (same) manager eventually bought out the wrong flavours. I told him what we wanted, he changed them. They were wrong AGAIN! I gave up and took what we were given as the right flavours from the first order were melting by now! Absolutely awful place. Will never step foot in here again. Extremely poor management. There were four other people also waiting for take away orders who were being ignored.

Don't order from here if you want to get your food, especially if you get a driver called Reges Miguelangelo, he will steal your food!!! so watch out

Food was fine but service was very slow. We could only find one table that wasn't dirty. No serviettes, stirrers etc.

Unfortunately, I find myself updating this with a less positive review. They have changed this McDonalds so that it is NOT open to the general public 24/7 like it is still advertised as. You have to order on the app and collect from a side entrance. It really feels like you're ordering drugs and picking up from a dodgy side alley. Additionally, where basically every other company has successfully delivered an order without missing items, McDonalds fails miserably. We've never in our history of ordering, received everything. I wish I could say "oh it's just the sauces," but usually, it's a whole meal or multiple burger or chips or several items. A shame, really.

Cold order withered potatoes, thick and stupid attendant, there was no ice or asking! In this case, a company like this missing ice is the height of the absurd. Terrible deserved to close the doors or change the management! In short, don't buy there if you want to have a good experience

Very, very hit and miss. One day your entire order will be there no problem, and the next you'll be missing half of it or get someone else's order. Can't say I recommend if you want to make sure you actually get what you ordered.

This place is shocking.. Not only you have to wait 30 minutes plus for your food on top of that you end up with freezing cold food and a drink that taste like it was poured an hour ago. It just doesn’t make sense. I think you should stop accepting orders when you think you can’t cope and then carry on once you can control it again. If I wanted cold food I would of brought a sandwich.

Ordering kiosk machines are partly broken. Either unresponsive or have broken barcode scanners.

I recently visited the McDonald's at Penge and tried their McPlant burger, and I must say, I loved it! The restaurant was impressively quiet and clean, providing a pleasant dining atmosphere. However, my only gripe was that the music was a bit too loud for my taste. Despite that, the delicious McPlant burger made it a great experience overall.

Terrible. Ordered food for collection. Waited outside for 20 minutes, knocked and stood by the cctv staff member saw and ignored. Only when a delivery driver arrived we were ‘greeted’ by an employee who didn’t even want to leave the back and was shouting through the glass telling us they were closed. She finally came out and stated that they were closed for maintenance and unfortunately they are not taking orders even though they were accepting orders through Deliveroo, Uber eats and the app. Terrible service. Update relevant platforms if you are not open.

Wattery drinks with no gas. For more than a year my wife and I order from this branch once per week. They used to be the best McDonald delivery we experienced but it's not been like that for at least a couple of months anymore. The drinks are always flat and with the ice melted. Feels like it was standing by the machine for at least an hour. Mistakes pretty much every single order. My wife orders plain sandwich for her and sometimes it comes without cheese or without beef. Lol. I have to order without bread for health reasons and the cheese is placed straitgh on the box insted on a paper what makes it stick like glue. Please, review your trainings and pay a proper salary for your staff.

I've not been in this branch for a few years and love the new seating. Very clean too. McDonald's offer a good range of foods, not just burger and chips

I asked for a fillet of fish but was told I had to wait 10 minutes before I could order as they do breakfast until 11. I didn't get my order until 11.25

Service was extremely slow. My son has Autism and its hard to explain to him that he has to wait for his food. Once we got it the lady was nice to him but over all the service is far too slow

Overall nice place, always a lot of parking spaces to park nearby and they serve you quite quick
