Mcdonald's Restaurants in Watford

If I could leave 0 I honestly would , the amount of the time this store has messed up my order is honestly disgusting it’s always they forget the sauces or they forget the drinks or even the food! This time 😆 guess what I’m allergic to beef and guess what I got sent in what was supposed to be a chicken burger and nuggets 2 quarter pounder they got my order entirely wrong this store should honestly close and get new management clearly the ones that work there now, just can’t be capable of getting something so simple right!

Nothing special. Not a "Blade" place.

Constantly missing items when ordering online. After complaining, they are saying you can come and pick it up. But if you are ordering delivery in the first place you don't want to dress up and drive 10 minutes to collect a burger they forgot about! Instead you can get a refund through Uber Eats. For some reason the amount of money is smaller then I paid for! It calls flat fee refund!

The slowest service ever experienced by my friends and myself. Avoid if you don’t wish to wait 25min for your meal.

Asked for double cheese burger with no cheese I’m allergic and look what they gave me The fool who made this needs a slap and retraining jokeman Since the refurb this place has been a joke, you can’t see in the kitchen and therefore can’t see your food getting prepped or how long it’s been sitting there before it’s bought out The workers are extra slow now because they know they can’t be seen save your money and go to bell green

*March 2024 Update* Walk in at 9.30pm, restaurent almost empty, already being cleaned and areas closed off. Takes 25 minutes to get my order. Absolutely shocking. They were making 1 order per 5 minutes. At a McDonald's. Luckily I only come here as a last resort. * March 2023 update! * Taking 25-30 mins to get your order here with terrible attitude from staff. Likely understaffed as well. GO TO McDonald's Bell Park Retail Park which is FAR better and more efficient. 10 Mins away. Really slow service from apparently bored and un-motivated staff. Lots of visible frustration from customers. Terrible quality food. Overall a terrible McDonald's with low standards.

Worst experience I had in any Mcdonald. Slow service, bread hard food quality not good. Lady behind the counter rude did not even apologise for delay or speak when ask for the order just throw it at me. Drink no gas.

Very poor this time. The chicken mayo was dreadful..limp lettuce..stale bun..the fries were so so and had to wait ages..seem to prioritise delivery orders. Would have asked for a refund or replacement but didn't have the time as it took so long in the first place.

It's Mcdonald you get what you pay for and I think that's stating to become over priced

I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for the past six months no matter how many times you order, you will get the exact same saggy fries with no taste the same big Mac with no taste most of the times your order will be wrong. You also receive other peoples food instead of yours. I am shocked by the ability to send proper fries to your customers. Why do they have to be saggy and soft and so grey and bland and disgusting. When do you guys start to work and do your jobs there? I wonder

Clean environment Nd McDonald's food as can be expected, don't expect much socialising during the pandemic though.

Took 2 attempts to get my order right and they forgot half the items both times. Never ordering from here again.

Generally a good experience on this occasion. Ordered a coffee, and it came quickly. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean. This restaurant is smaller in terms of seating than it looks and can get quite busy. On previous visits, this restaurant has been overrun by rude and pushy deliveroo type delivery persons. Whose constant poor behaviour wherever they go, the industry frankly needs to deal with.

Music too loud. Very little staff presence on the front counter. Staff very friendly just not visible at all. Toilet sinks have had no running water for months now.

Rubbish food, and order was wrong

Order online. A full menu was missing. Straw and tissue were missing too.

Worst McDonald's I have ever been in. Despite it not being busy the service was the slowest I have ever experienced. Customer service and interaction None.

Ordered a meal costing £40 total with a peri peri bbq pot as sometimes find Nando’s quite dry. They sent every sauce except the one I ordered and when I called to ask for it to be delivered they kept repeating ‘we cannot redeliver but we will refund £1 for the pot’. £1 when a £40 meal is ruined and I can’t get what I ordered actually delievered. Pathetic rubbish customer service and mediocre food.

Popped in to grab a quick coffee which took over 20 mins to come out. The was no staff at the counter to ask for help.

Unbelievably slow service. Waited 25 mins for something that was stone cold. Feel sorry for some of the staff that are really working to put together orders but seems to be absolutely no management taking the lead. They hide away so you can't speak to them. Great shame

Staff at this branch obviously can't read. For the 3rd time they've got my delivery order wrong. My advice is go to Burger King as they never get it wrong.

Went into the penge high street branch in penge had to order at the till as needed a voucher scanned was totally ignored for at least 5 minutes then a member of staff asked if we wanted to pay we replied no we have a voucher which needs to be scanned to which she disappeared behind the counter and told another staff member we were left waiting another 10 so we left without ordering as we were walking out the original staff member called us back too late we had been totally ignored no excuses as the restaurant wasn't busy. Never going back to this branch in penge

Worst service EVER! My daughter was waiting for 20 minutes for our order, I went to see what was happening and was ignored by all staff. Except a lovely lady who was taking orders to tables. She told the manager people were waiting to speak to him and he refused to come out! After another 10 minutes I saw the manager and asked where my food was as been waiting for half an hour he just smirked and walked off. Eventually my food came out. Got to the car and opened my egg and cheese muffin and a bit of bacon fell out!!! Unfortunately our previous visit here a couple of months ago was no better. Waited ages for our late night McFlurrys and the (same) manager eventually bought out the wrong flavours. I told him what we wanted, he changed them. They were wrong AGAIN! I gave up and took what we were given as the right flavours from the first order were melting by now! Absolutely awful place. Will never step foot in here again. Extremely poor management. There were four other people also waiting for take away orders who were being ignored.

Don't order from here if you want to get your food, especially if you get a driver called Reges Miguelangelo, he will steal your food!!! so watch out

Felt ill next day, had to go through delivery entrance to get my order cause they'd locked the doors

Food was fine but service was very slow. We could only find one table that wasn't dirty. No serviettes, stirrers etc.

Unfortunately, I find myself updating this with a less positive review. They have changed this McDonalds so that it is NOT open to the general public 24/7 like it is still advertised as. You have to order on the app and collect from a side entrance. It really feels like you're ordering drugs and picking up from a dodgy side alley. Additionally, where basically every other company has successfully delivered an order without missing items, McDonalds fails miserably. We've never in our history of ordering, received everything. I wish I could say "oh it's just the sauces," but usually, it's a whole meal or multiple burger or chips or several items. A shame, really.

never order from this McDonald's, every time I have ordered, something has always arrived less or completely wrong, today was the last time I ordered, my children did not receive the sandwich and the game, only the chips, after 1 hour of waiting. customer service is poorer than in the place.

Its mentioned on website or in Google its 24 hours but its not i drive to there after check online its 3.00 in a morning no one is there doors are locked this is totally misleading and waisting time of the people who loved to eat or drink in mcdonalds

Cold order withered potatoes, thick and stupid attendant, there was no ice or asking! In this case, a company like this missing ice is the height of the absurd. Terrible deserved to close the doors or change the management! In short, don't buy there if you want to have a good experience

Very, very hit and miss. One day your entire order will be there no problem, and the next you'll be missing half of it or get someone else's order. Can't say I recommend if you want to make sure you actually get what you ordered.

Ordering kiosk machines are partly broken. Either unresponsive or have broken barcode scanners.

This place is shocking.. Not only you have to wait 30 minutes plus for your food on top of that you end up with freezing cold food and a drink that taste like it was poured an hour ago. It just doesn’t make sense. I think you should stop accepting orders when you think you can’t cope and then carry on once you can control it again. If I wanted cold food I would of brought a sandwich.

I recently visited the McDonald's at Penge and tried their McPlant burger, and I must say, I loved it! The restaurant was impressively quiet and clean, providing a pleasant dining atmosphere. However, my only gripe was that the music was a bit too loud for my taste. Despite that, the delicious McPlant burger made it a great experience overall.

Terrible. Ordered food for collection. Waited outside for 20 minutes, knocked and stood by the cctv staff member saw and ignored. Only when a delivery driver arrived we were ‘greeted’ by an employee who didn’t even want to leave the back and was shouting through the glass telling us they were closed. She finally came out and stated that they were closed for maintenance and unfortunately they are not taking orders even though they were accepting orders through Deliveroo, Uber eats and the app. Terrible service. Update relevant platforms if you are not open.

Wattery drinks with no gas. For more than a year my wife and I order from this branch once per week. They used to be the best McDonald delivery we experienced but it's not been like that for at least a couple of months anymore. The drinks are always flat and with the ice melted. Feels like it was standing by the machine for at least an hour. Mistakes pretty much every single order. My wife orders plain sandwich for her and sometimes it comes without cheese or without beef. Lol. I have to order without bread for health reasons and the cheese is placed straitgh on the box insted on a paper what makes it stick like glue. Please, review your trainings and pay a proper salary for your staff.

I've not been in this branch for a few years and love the new seating. Very clean too. McDonald's offer a good range of foods, not just burger and chips

One of if not THE worst mcdonalds in London, food is always cold or missing, dips/drinks not sent with products, items changes I.e removal of pickles or sauce not aheaded too, staff largely unhelpful and at certain times even to the point of rudeness. If you order I'd advise standing there and checking everything and I mean EVERYTHING.

Both managers unhelpful and uninterested and speak to their staff awful. Mary and the other staff are wonderful.

It is almost as though this stores niche is purposefully getting orders wrong, incorrect and sometimes completely missing items from orders. The only reason I’ve been using this place this long is because it’s only good quality is that it is a 24hr site. Absolute shambles

McDonald use apps to order anything. It take up time,i waited 20mins for cup of tea & orange juice. It show on the screen board it ready to collect. I was still waiting for member of staff bring it to me. As time went by I,had to say to staff, it ready to collect. That was in Penge.

Always something missing from orders. Today I done another £40 order and it was my dad's birthday along with father days. Missing a fillet a fish and cheeseburger. Had to complain to just eat earlier this week due to food cold. Only order here because its the local one and I don't get how they get so much wrong.

I ordered food via uber eats. After more than an hour of waiting the delivery driver delivered my order to someone else in the building who of course had not problem to take it. Please teach your driver how to deliver orders correctly. No more this McDonald for me.

We ordered our food on the mcdonalds app and walked in to collect. We only had to wait a few minutes. The restaurant has recently been refurbished and it looks nicer, you cannot see the staff working anymore which I think is better for them. The atmosphere is not the best the past few times we have been but I partially think sometimes this is due to the customers being rude to staff. The food was warm, the mozzarella fries were perfection! I would buy from again

Had a referb and it looks a lot better inside, a lot better than having to fight to get to the counter inbetween delivery drivers. Now the drivers have a separate place to the side of the building to pick up their deliveries. However they still lack in the service part inside. Missing items from my order so I had to go back up, and that was after waiting nearly 20 mins for my breakfast items. They prioritise online orders for the delivery drivers instead of the inside customers who are there right now. Also now no one stands near the counter so if items are missing you have to shout for someone to even acknowledge you as no one from the back can see you waiting at the counter unless they are bringing out an order. I was stood there for about 5 mins before I shouted for someone to come and get my missing items as enough was enough.

Friendly staff and tasty food as always. Men's toilet was out of action and with the disabled loo locked the only option for my husband was to use the ladies!

The slowest service of fast food I've ever cone across

The most unwelcome McDonald’s in Bromley areas. The kitchen is behind the yellow wall so you can’t see how they are preparing the food. Stuff are absolutely disrespectful. If you want to order and pay by cash, you should wait more than 5min until someone come to the counter. Order machines paperless for receipts. I was waiting 25 minutes for a simple order which was happy meal, so I find out my order was ready for 20 minutes but nobody bring it to my table as I ask for table service. At least I asked for my lunch and I received cold sandwiches and happy meal !!! If you’re not able to provide a good service, why not closing the restaurant?! I really don’t know who’s this place manager but I really sorry for customer service they provided for everyone.

Chips cold burger cold my drink I ordered sprite came with no ice and didn’t taste like sprite, tasted like sparkling water with flavour

i have no words. i entered mcdonald’s excited for their, whats normally, nice breakfast. i got a cheesy bacon flat bread and a hot chocolate or whatever that horrible liquid was. i took a sip from the liquid to quench my thirst and was immediately put off by the footwater tasting drink. the hot chocolate was beyond awful. i dont know if they run out of milk or sense but it was clearly both. even hot chocolate in africa, or my 5 year old nieces tea is better than that disgrace. it was literally cloudy manky water with brown food colouring. i’m soo appalled and disappointed. fix your machines and while your at it, fix your employees depressing attitudes. xx

The reason why i gave them 4 stars there was a young lady who was very good i ordered large fillet. O fish meal i asked no salt on my fries i waited for 7 minutes and she came to me and apologised and said they are doing fresh fries because they've put salt on them i was very impressed i took the order from her and i give her 💯 % she was smiling

Had a debate on how the delivery guys are aloud to bring push bikes into a Establishment of food and I literally threw 2 bikes on to the street an absolute disappointment

Worst mcds in the country. Food poisoning, wrong items, incompetent staff,no refunds. Incapable of following orders on the screen. Don’t order for delivery as you wont get what you asked for.

They ran out of bacon for mcmuffins, priority area for uber and deliveroo drivers more important than instead of paying customers.the plastic lids for hot drinks did not fit properly on plastic cups so hot beverage spilling out

Apparently putting items in a bag is difficult. I have ordered from this branch a number of times, not once have I received a complete order. On one occasion I received someone else’s order.
