Mcdonald's Restaurants in Cardiff

Walkabout is best with Rugbys, Bingo and Dart games in my opinion. Their food is not that bad but also not that great respectfully.

I’m giving this McDonald’s a 5/5 out of simply because of the service of a lovely lady named Shakila

I ordered a delivery for me a friend's for a small get together but McDonalds failed to send everything we ordered so we had to spend more money as they refused to believe us even though we had us opening the food on my security cameras at home!!

Just popped in to take advantage of offers on my app for lunch. This McDonald’s was clean, the staff was friendly and my orders were very quick.

I tried ordering on Uber eats and they refused to give the driver my order as the order number was different and I waited over two hours for them to cancel it. Also food isn’t great. I saw staff pick up food from the floor.

Slowest service I have ever experienced at a McDonald’s

The absolute worst McDonalnds ever. Waited 45 mins for a flippin Cheeseburger. Been to rancid poo smelling McD’s in Coventry that I’d rather revisit. A stain on the city.

Ordered a veggie deluxe and got home and was given a chicken burger. You get ushered out of the building so fast there is no time to check your order. Do better.

The food was as expected Had a mega McMuffin meal for breakfast before work. This location seems to turn off table service in the mornings, which isn't too bad, but the printers also rarely work, meaning I have to rely on my terrible memory for my number when it's called. Keep the receipt printers working please guys

Waited about an hour for my food when I asked how long it would be they said home delivery is busy that comes first. Missing half of my order and the security guards are a joke

The worst McDonald’s experience ever! Received missing items and can’t even contact them!

Worst McDonalds in Wales, if not the UK. Ate here twice now and both times have been disappointing. This time - I even had to ask for caramel in my galaxy caramel mcflurry, and the excuse I was given was - "sorry, it's busy". Not enough tables, busy pressured atmosphere and the queue to end up getting food was crazy long.

Can’t follow simple instructions. Remove cheese means don’t put cheese 👍

Never go to this McDonald’s if you don’t want to wait at least an hour for your food. Had to wait an hour and a half for two medium meals, that were just left to sit on the side along with our drinks to melt and get very diluted. One of the workers were very very horrible to delivery drivers and customers, especially one who was waiting for 45 minutes for a normal cheeseburger. Very disappointed with this McDonald’s, as it wasn’t even stock issues that they were dealing with but in general huge laziness from all workers. Could’ve made and served all the orders myself within 20 minutes and I only have 3 months of McDonald’s experience under my belt. Date and time of going to McDonald’s: 16th October 4:20pm.

Food was fresh and hot. The order was mostly right (fortunately the unexpected cheese on the "no cheese" McPlant burger was just a preference and not an allergy). Very busy with delivery & food took a while to be prepared. Later at night the area around the door is a bit rough (to the point that there is a bouncer). You need a code to get into the toilet which is printed on the receipt, so don't chuck your receipt before going to the toilet like I did🤦‍♂️)

Have been to McDonalds today… i personally have received excellent customer support from Ms. Shakila… I really appreciate her service and in deed impressed with the way she handles the customers throughout the time. I think every floor staff in the restaurant must take her as an example of excellent customer support… 😍😍

food was cold. mc chicken sandwich was very overcooked and hard.

It never arrived but the delivery driver put it as delivered but never recieved my food

The coke was all tipped out the driver blamed the store and said it’s how it was given to him.

I’m missing the majority of my food and what came was cold , waste of money but helpful that I was able to request a refund on the items I never received

The drink was spilt making the bag all wet, there was no straw, the fruit bag is missing, and I only received 2 out of 4 sauces I ordered.

Al entrar en Mcdonalds hoy con mi hijo, perro de asistencia y familia, la señora en el área de recepción llamada Shakila era increíble y en mi opinión debería estar administrando este lugar. Shakila era amable, compasivo, servicial amable, organizado e hizo que nuestra comida se sintiera como si fuéramos muy bienvenidos en el lugar. Excelentes habilidades de atención al cliente. Genuino. Mi hijo notó lo limpios que estaban los baños y no teníamos duda de que eso se debía a Shakila. Incluso le dijimos lo maravilloso que está haciendo. Se podía ver lo mucho que le encanta su trabajo, los clientes y el restaurante. Ella estaba charlando con tanta gente y realmente hizo que su trabajo pareciera fácil. Muchas gracias a Shakila. Mi hijo lucha con lugares ocupados y ella estaba contenta y relajada sobre todo debido a la encantadora recepción de Shakila.

Stone cold food. Drinks didn’t turn up. Egg in the wrap was just the yolk. Waited over a hour for the food. Ended up eating McDonald’s breakfast at lunch time

The worst outlet i have ever been. First of all the tables were very filthy. Me and my cousin asked them to clean the table off but the male manager with a tattoo on his hand didn’t even care. There was none in the dining area. Secondly i ordered 3 big mac as meals. They called out only one of the orders. Then said other two orders would take 10 min more. After waiting 10 min straight we went to the till and asked. They didn’t even make the other two orders. They skipped the order on screen. Then again took 10 min more and prepared the order but didn’t even apologise to us for this kinds of mistakes. How rude!! Only few people were working in the kitchen. Seriously i am very disappointed.

From time of order placed it took 45 minutes to arrive, fries were cold and burger bun was burnt. I will try a different McD location to order from next time

Decent food as always, fairly quick order time and collect. Toilets could be better. Menu is big . Reccomend coming here especially if you are budgeting . Easy to get to. Also has security so feel alot safer then a few places in cardiff. Pretty loud inside but comes with the cost as it seems.

The burgers were pretty good but the fries a little cold but the poor delivery guy went quite a way on a push bike, although it was electric.

Manager with red hair - think it said megan on her name badge was walking around sighing, rolling her eyes , slamming people’s food together on the trays, clearly she didn’t want to be there, but what got me is the way she spoke to the other staff, belittling them in front of customers, I felt mortified for this poor lad, she said something like “if you don’t know how to do something then just don’t do it” how about train the poor guy? Gives a great snapshot into what it must be like to work here. Someone get this woman on a management course asap

Overall was a good service but iced coffee was spilt in the bag. Not the fault of the driver they should have sealed lids instead of open lids for a straw.

Red haired manager was in a really pissed off mood. She had a really negative tone calling out order and dealing with customers like she really didn't want to be there. The guy working the till said he needed to take his break but she didn't care. She makes the customers and the staff uncomfortable.

Absolutely terrible branch of McDonald's. The woman making the drinks and icecreams on the night shift on 11th July 2024 (about 30 years old, person of colour, short dark hair, about 5ft3, stocky build) was absolutely drugged out of her mind. She only had one shoe on and was walking around the kitchen with just a sock on one foot, was constantly dropping things on the dirty floor (and then picking them up without washing hands), and could barely string a sentence together. The manager and other staff didn't seem bothered, but it was extremely unsettling as a customer. Absolutely won't be visiting this branch again now that I know the staff are high on hard drugs while making my food.

Not the cleanest, watched a supervisory member member of staff (white shirt) in Kirchen pick up two food waste bins, by their rims with thumbs inside, move them, then without washing his hands load and adjust the drink cup dispenser with empty cups contaminating them.

I am absolutely disgusted every time I order, I receive my order and like tonight my drink has spilt everywhere in the bag, the driver took his delivery bag off of his back, and flipped it upside down and handed me my drink, when I questioned why the bag was wet he stated my drink spilt but no apology and his attitude was absolutely appalling, I have now got no drink

Great food but the best driver I ever had!

You get a delivery there's a 40% chance something that you paid extra for will be missing and there's no point trying to chase it down because by the time it gets to you the rest of your food is cold. If you eat in they'll tell you your drink is still being made but you'll just be staring at it on the rack for ten minutes as they try to remember who ordered it. Avoid impulse to jump over the counter and grab it yourself.

Delivery was fantastic and quick. However This Mcdonalds didn't include the Large Fries brought and listed on the receipt. It was a tad disappointing as we all know the chips are the most fulfilling part x3
