It was alright in here. Not sure when it was refurbished but felt it looks smaller. It was almost 30 quid for the both of us to eat which we felt was a bit costly but that seem to be the norm anywhere these day. Food and service was lovely

Very often i do use them when leaving Cardiff. Same oold, good service with food on same level. Just perfect.

Made one burger let it sit on the side for 10 minutes whilst they made the second burger. Both burgers were from the same order and were the exact same burger. One was hot, one was cold..

Went here when visiting my aunty in Wales as had a 3hr drive up here. Good food but expensive but definitely better then McDonald's. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Avoid this Burger King, Staff are always rude, its really slow always waiting 20-30 mins for food, and you see Uber/delivery drivers sat waiting well over 30-40 mins

do not order from this burger king if you have a dairy allergy. we ordered 3 burgers all with no cheese and the receipt says no cheese but yet all 3 has cheese and the manager decided to pass the buck to Deliveroo even though they are a delivery service not the people cooking the food.

Such a great burger but drive thru servers had no manners

Not a regular customer yet I'm going to be one soon. The quality of the burger meat was outstanding. Service reasonable and prices over the top. It was worth it though ... Still got the taste in my mouth.

The drive through was busy but there was outstanding customer service, staff were apologetic for delays and really professional. It was appreciated so much after having to leave McDonald’s for disgraceful, rude customer service. Burger kind has the customer service on point.

The king of burgers with a flame grilled taste, since I downloaded the app I've been battering the offers and my waistline. Loaded chips? Banging! Burgers? Banging! Milkshakes? Go to maccies!

Was so disappointed 😞 Had the dirty fries .. tiniest bit of cheese no sauce so dry & lots of bacon. My whopper was cool in temp.. bun was all broken so made it harder to eat. My daughter chicken royale had bacon in not cheese. Not the best tonight !

Lovely pleasant staff very quick service , great value using the app

This place was a welcome break from sofa shopping nearby. It was really quiet at the time we popped in. Plenty of parking spaces available, no queue inside. The only bad thing was the instant feeling of guilt after consuming a calorific meal.

Everyday I go to Burger King Newport road and the staff are all amazing really friendly and absolutely spotless I highly recommend 100%

I am really disappointed with this place ordering through just eat and half the order was missing. The delivery driver left the bag on the doorstep and ran away once I opened the door. So either the delivery driver stole the food I ordered or its the incompanctance of the staff that don't do there job properly and had not provided the food that I paid a lot of money for. I Phoned the store and the girl on the phone was extremely rude and would not provide any help at all and said call just eat. I have phoned Burger King Newport Road , cardiff many times about my complaint and they refuse to pick up the phone. Myself , family and friends will never eat from here again. Shame on you !

If any of you would like to redeem your loyalty point please do not go to this burger king. Their system is not right and they will blame you for being a liar. I went in today to redeem my points at the cashier his name is John, and he took my 6 digit number to key in. Once he key in, there was a notification that came on my phone to press go, and I noticed my point was still the same. I showed my phone to John, saying it was successfully completed. He didn't listen to my word and when straight to click the go tab on my phone without my permission. Once he click my point was taken. He said there is nothing on the system so I can't redeem my order. I'm telling this guy my point is taken and John was not helpful at all saying that my point was what is it now. Then the manager step in Mr.Connor also arguing with me that there is no such thing the point is taken. So I had to order again to prove that my point was taken when they click go on my phone. After proving myself is right Mr. Connor was willing to give me my meal. But only one. He told me to call the customer service to get back my other points that I didn't redeem. I felt so humiliated as they didn't trust me and there were other customers as well there. There was another manager even he told Mr. Connor just give her the meal but he shut him down,like I am asking for free food. I am there to get what I earn not free food????. And the other staff, John, was manipulating words, which I didn't even say. Is this how you treat a loyal customer? Now I have to waste my time calling customer care for staff mistakes. This is so inappropriate. Why give loyalty points to customer if can't be redeemed, is it to humiliate the customer for the points?

Quick and efficient drive through serving quality burgers. The restaurant has been restyled and is very comfortable with much better seating arrangements. The introduction of self-service order points is a welcome addition too.

I have never seen so many miserable people working in one place. The service was slow, the person working on drive thru had no customer service skills and was just plain rude. No interaction from the server and clearly no organisation at all. Someone seriously needs to do something not only for the mental well-being of the people who work there, but to also seriously improve the service otherwise you will never have any customers.

I was always enjoy having a bite there especially their chimichury chicken

The top bun crumbled apart (bacon double xl), as though it had been microwaved too much, or was stale or something. Made the burger difficult to eat, and quite disappointing.

Manager rude and all stood around doing nothing!!! Over 15minutes to cook one burger, put Mayo on when asked for no Mayo. How difficult is it to make a burger and follow a simple order sheet. Absolute joke!!!!!!!!!!!

Our food was expensive for a fast food place. It wasn't very tasty, we had a burger, chicken wraps and fries. The fries were lovely, but the rest was a bit tasteless. Level entrance for disabled people, also 2 parking bays at the front of the cafe. More parking and toilets available too. No atmosphere. Very near shops, bus stops, eateries etc.

Waited for 25 minutes for food, the restaurant was slightly busy but not enough to justify the wait. Deliveroo/Uber eats orders were being prioritised. Really poor

Very poor service by staff. They don't know what's going on in there. Especially girls. Better to work on their service rather than 💄 making up.

Ordered large plain (only cheese) double whopper meal and large double bacon XL meal at drive through. Staff very abrupt and rude. Paid 50 pence extra at window for 2x BBQ dips. Told to park in disabled bay (!) and wait. Bag brought out 20 minutes later contained only burgers (double whopper not plain), no fries whatsoever despite ordering large meals. No sauces in bag either. Terrible experience at almost £30 for the 'privilege'

30 minutes in a quiet dining in area, a couple of tables at most all waiting for orders. Usually not a problem, it happens. But the manager was yelling out back all the issues at staff which made the atmosphere pretty awful. Food then was sat on counter for 20 minutes before rest was put out - then under heaters again to be reheated. Let manager know that the burger bun was ice cold, and the bacon was also - ice cold but the meat was hot. Manager was really rude, stating the grill was on the blink so what did we expect & that it’s standard bacon comes COLD on all burgers which… is gross. Meals aren’t cheap anymore and I’ve never known a place to do this? Five minutes into getting meal she starts shouting at customers that they had five mins to eat up as she’ll be closing doors soon… some people still waiting for food. Suuuper unprofessional and just unfriendly atmosphere for everyone there! Tons of drive through orders kept coming back, food was bad & some of the staff wearing onesies which seemed unhygienic… she aggressively said she’d touched the burger that it wasn’t cold and she’d make a new one but it would be “exactly the same” so handed back the burger she’d just touched… was quite funny how bad the entire experience was

The place has had a makeover inside and looks much better now than before, first time I've ate at this burger King in a good while , price is extortionate for what your actually getting which is burger and chips and a poxy coke , but burgers always nice hear can't complain.

Don't visit unless the Male manger serves you, bunch of confused teenagers working there messing up everyone's order and calling customers "darlin". Shocking.

Food was OK for a Burger King. My friend had the Vegan burger that was always cooked fresh, I had the bacon doule cheese burger and it was just OK at the time but the following morning it gave me food poisoning, I had an upset stomach and worse all day. Visited at 10pm on a Tuesday night. Chips were cold and stale as if they had been sat out waiting for an hour, so I had to ask for some new ones that wasn't a problem just an inconvenience. It was the fact that the food gave me an upset stomach that was bad.
