I’m a young disabled person who uses a walking stick, and yesterday I received the worst customer service I have ever experienced! At first I was a little confused as there was no one at the till serving anyone, until a young lady saw me and she took my order, not once did she ask me if I was takeaway or sitting in, and I was expecting to get a numbered sign like I have done previously where I could sit down and they bring me my food order to the table, but I was never offered one, so I went and stood waiting for my order. When I received my order I was offered it in a brown paper bag, so I told the young lady I was sitting in, she pulled a face and instead just shoved my food in the brown bag onto a tray alongside my drink. Neither she or ANY staff whilst seeing my walking stick offered to take my tray to the seating area, so with great struggle I had to carry the tray whilst holding my stick and a bag. While walking to the seating area one member of staff saw me and walked right pass me not even offering to help. Eventually when I was nearly at the tables the one and only staff member, a woman in her 30s, took my tray and she found me a table and helped me get some sauce. I honestly felt like crying and I was quite upset at this thoughtless and ignorant service, and I will never go to this McDonald’s again!!

What is it with all the Mcd in Hartlepool with both staff/managers. Minority of managers and staff are ignorant , miserable as sin and act as though they dont want to be there and have no customer service skills whatsover. Most of the time your order sits there for ages and when you do get your order its cold. Absolutely terrible.

disguiting went here for my little one an there is teenagers using profanity and messing around although its clean teenagers are leaving food on the floor and wont use their inside voice im so upset as my kid is nw exposed to this horrible disgraceful language

I sometimes go to this McDonald's for my lunch with a friend or two on our college lunch break. I am a very small, timid and anxious person so I usually order from the app or use an order board and request table service so I don't have to stand amongst the typically large crowd. This is usually never an issue and I usually have a young man, about my age (17) bring me my food. He sometimes struggles to find me and makes a joke about it when he eventually does, then he will linger for a second, giving me a chance to thank him and ask for something else if I need to. I wish I knew his name because he is the sweetest. In complete contrast, my anxiety was made worse when I was there on the 16th of December. This was a Thursday and I am never in on a Thursday so some of the staff were different. Anyway, I ordered a happy meal from the order board and grabbed a table service number, found a table and waited for my friend who was waiting at the front for her happy meal. As I was looking for a table I overheard two "elderly" workers comment about "youngens getting table service" which made me feel quite self conscious. They were hanging around the table that I chose to sit at and I then overheard them direct a young worker towards a table for table service and then comment "it's not that hard" as he walked away. My friend came back to the table with her food and I was still waiting, which wasn't a problem. Very swiftly my food arrived...if I blinked I would have missed her... A middle aged woman tossed (I'm not exaggerating) my tray onto the table and before I could even thank her she had turned around and was already making her way to her next task which must have been incredibly important. She hadn't even picked up the table service number to return it to a board. This, for some reason, left me quite upset and shaken up...And if my friend wasn't there I probably would have got up and left to cry. Now I know this is a McDonald's and I in no way expect a 5 star service, just some basic human decency, like the young workers show. Not too long ago this McDonald's was reaching out to students for part time work, which I did consider, however I just think it's ironic that the older workers would then ridicule young staff members and disrespect young customers with mental health issues.

I went to this McDonald’s with a family member and was screamed at by a member of staff called Sarah while I was walking towards the collection area. While she was screaming she was shaking her head at me which I thought was inappropriate and rude. The reason she screamed at me was because I stopped slightly away from the waiting area to see where a family member went. The screaming was not needed and if that’s how they talk to customers they need more training.

They tried to critisize me for my race and coulter and they tried to tel what I could order when I didn’t want to get that ramel and then I orded a chezburger and it had yellow goey stuff like the sun had a piss in the burger

I always go to mcdonalds it taste very good. Chicken mcnuggs is my fave. Please put more chicken crap on the menu. Also the coke taste bad have pepsi please. Stop selling coke. Also make it easier to win mcnuggs on monopoly. I WANT MORE MCNUGGS. Also new menu idea. 100 chicken nuggets call it the McDiabetes and have it include 4 large fries 100 chicken nuggets and silo of coke. Anyway thank you minimum paid people, please consider my ideas. Also more pepsi.

Not one of McDonald's best restaurants , the whole idea of an indoor eating area , which is at best on the small side and stuck in the middle of town , surely with all the empty shops it could have benefitted by being relocated ... To get served you have to queue across the busiest part of town ... Not somewhere I would frequent regularly

very slow service in the town centre . no meat been served . never herd of this.descusting so chicken nuggets it was never mind . that shouldn't of happend.

Nowt special. Service on the slow side in spite of shouts of 'can I take your order' or 'Is that it?' when you have only ordered 1 item ( sorry fries are more fattening than most food offered here). Heavily tattoed servers do not inspire confidence. I have to admit but I am uncomfortable with food service from those who see their bodies as graffiti platforms. Food OK but no better. There is a seating area that can get very busy especially in school holidays so the queue for the seats often matches that for the food. I use this place if I have to: if it were terrible I would pass this refuelling station completely. I dont 'enjoy'

This has to be the slowest 'fast food' place in town. The queue in front of me was only three deep yet it took some eight minutes to reach the front. Poor service, average food - not the best.

You wait around 10 mins to get served, not because of the queues but because the staff are so so slow. Never known anything like it before
