Forget the drive through. Trapped in a queue for 20 mins. Not enough staff and once your in the line you can't get out. Will never visit again

Paid for large meals drinks and got medium for all except happy meal.

My order was over an hour late deiver left McDonald's and took almost an hour to get to us food was cold and hard

Ordered from here today for delivery via Uber Eats. Total shambles from start to finish. We live in Birtley which is 3.3 miles from the store but for some reason it was dispatched with a push bike courier, I accept is not the restaurant’s responsibility or the fact that when the poor courier did arrive about 25 mins later with one of the drinks burst covering all the food and the bottoms dropping out the packing bags. Two of the items were missing. So my daughter and her partner went to the restaurant to get the missing items to be told by a member of staff and a manger it’s not there fault and to take it up with Uber Eats in what my daughter told me was in a rude and abrupt manner. Like I said I can’t blame the restaurant for the delivery method or damage that occurred on route. But I don’t see how they can pass the responsibility of them not being capable of reading and packing the correct items into a bag onto Uber eats I have never seen the courier drivers assembling the orders! But then when being asked to correct this they were just rude and un helpfull. All I can say if you are thinking of ordering from this particular restaurant good Luke getting what you want because if not you will up a nasty creek with out a paddle if you expect them to be helpful and correct their mistakes!

Driver stopped for fuel for over 10mins then drove up and down 6 streets before parking up 2 streets away and walking to my hoise house food was cold when got here i will be asking for a refund

The absolute worst McDonalds branch ever. Slow service, wrong orders, milkshakes and McFlurry are never available. Take breakfast orders and payment and then make you wait 20-25 mins before advising there’s no breakfast available. There’s just always something wrong every time you visit. Would avoid at all costs.

Is the nugget machine broken twice theyve came stone cold. With a special needs child who only eats nuggets and refuses cold food its less than acceptable

Big Mac was cold, I took it back. The chips were cold, I took them back. The wife's coffee was cold, I took it back. By the time I'd changed everything that was cold by the time I sat down to eat, MY BIG MAC WAS COLD AGAIN

Absolutely no help when trying to order in store, 1st tried paying with cash then told to use app to no avail. After been told to clear basket and reload basket 4 times no manager was prepared to help and said there's nothing they can do. The order value was 40 for the family Absolutely shocking. 30 mins of my life I won't be getting back.

First of all the food was late. The driver even said the staff took the mick making the food. I ordered a quarter pounder with cheese - got a double cheeseburger. My friend ordered a plain Big Mac - everything was on it. My partner ordered a grilled wrap - crispy. My drink was upside down. Absolute shambles, clearly it’s blind night at McDonald’s. When trying to call and complain they just hang up. Disgusting. Train your staff. It’s burgers not rocket science

Never a good atmosphere in any McDonald's! The food would have been better if they didn't keep putting new workers who ddo t k ow how to use a computer. The only time I never used the digital menu my food was getting the taste of cold the the chips become something else

It's a McDonald's, you know what to expect. Very slow and disorganised service, which happens regularly. I use it, as it's the closest to my house, and kids moan for it. But I don't think I've ever been served in a reasonable timeframe, they are always flapping around, disorganised and making mistakes.

Delivery from this McDonald's is a joke- drivers sit outside for half an hour before actually bringing the order, fries get forgotten 50% of the time and drink cups were only half full Also had over half of recent orders missing (ordered through their app) and told it can't be refunded due to part of their policy (they refuse to tell us which part exactly) and that no one can be contacted to dispute this- absolutely giving up on trying this mcdonalds

Ordered online, food came late and cold. Missing a mcspicy and cheeseburger was wrong. Only got £1 refund.

Very bad delivery the burger was so dry with no mayo. The burger beard was dry as if it was two days ago bread. Before my drink got to me half of it was already gone. Remind me not to order from you guys again rubbish.

Literally every single time I've ordered from this branch they have got our order wrong, either items are missing, no napkins, wrong drinks or they send a vegan child a hamburger happy meal. Whether it's in the drive thru or via uber eats, it's the same experience. Read the order, it's not hard!

The dirtiest McDonald’s I’ve ever been in, every table filled with rubbish and bins overflowing, just generally scruffy dirty. Food tasted fine but they also forgot our chips. Staff didn’t seem to care at all and no one seemed in a rush to clean. They weren’t particularly busy either so there’s no excuse for how filthy it was!

This macdonalds used to be onne of the best in the North East but not now. It's definitely not fast food and when you do get your food it's is cold and the order is wrong. Absolutely abysmal by macdonalds

Unbelievably slow take out speed when not using the drive thru, waited almost 20 minutes standing for a breakfast muffin and flat white when there was absolutely nobody in the place or a busy drive thru god only knows what its like when it's busy.

Used to frequent this McDonalds a lot over the years but the service has really hit rock bottom recently. More than one occasion have I, and many others while I've been there, had to wait for their meals. Not even the Drive-thru is safe as you're often asked to sit in the waiting bay or the car park cos the two waiting bays are filled. Waiting times are often pretty bad too in this situation, the longest I waited was half an hour for a quarter pounder meal. I asked about the delay and the member of staff simply said Nobody knows what they're doing. Don't recommend if you're looking for food in a hurry.
