Was Gonna take away but turned out they serve literal dog waste to us consumers, the workers are clearly too busy scratching and sniffing their large behinds than actually cooking my food because the burger buns looks like it has been painted on with black mold then sat on vigorously to a point where it basically is a pancake and not a burger like I ordered. The chicken has large lumps in them which looks like someone has spat a tonsil stone into it and is very unpleasant to chew on. Turns out the workers here also enjoy digging for gold as there are large green blobs sticking onto the boxes. Did give us a refund so I am happy (kinda).

So It's 3rd time in a row when staff forgot put dips . It's so enjoying You always have to mentioned then especially when You ordering 20 nuggets with 4 dips... Jezzz I understand pick time but not bloody every time I order something from uber.... unacceptable

Save your money and eat somewhere else. We are are on a festive holiday. Staff are rude there, they ignore you. The manager Emily clearly does not enjoy her job and is very rude. Maybe she should consider standing the other side onmf the counter and being spoke to the way she spoke to my daughters and me.

Just for a Big Mac and quarter pounder its 82p off £10. I know everything has gone up in price. I get it, but you would expect if you've spent the best part of ten pounds for it to be at least warm and not thrown together. We questioned the price to be told we'd be better off having a meal. What so we could have cold fries too! And a fizzy drink that's flat! Not even napkins in the bag to wipe our tears. Rubbish!

Whilst waiting for my order to arrive I was appalled to see a young female working off a pair of steps spraying degreaser on the top and the front of the chip dispenser, your staff were struggling to work round her to access the chips to put them in a bag. This was seen by other customers at the time and I did make comments to the lady that served me who totally blanked me so from that I presume the manager will not be informed, this happened on the 26th Sept at approx 14.30pm. I did not eat my chips !!! I would suggest this procedure is carried out when chip dispenser is no in service.

Got to the Drive Through at 10:58 and was refused breakfast. The board was still showing breakfasts as available and the car in front of us ordered breakfast. On other occasions we have ordered food here and the order has been totally wrong. Always have to wait for food and the chips are soggy and tasteless. Would not recommend this branch. Awful service.

At the restaurant at 10.58 to be told no breakfast although the staff had been talking away social with the customer in front of us.the breakfast menu was still displayed and we were still in time but refused our order. Another bad experience at Newark McDonald's avoid if you can they also seem to make the fries worse than any other McDonald's we go to and get the order wrong a terrible branch

Popped in following a nice walk with friends and it smelt like poo through out the restaurant it gets worse if you leave and walk back in

We have popped into Mcdonald when we have had busy days, 4 times since June. Macdonelds is not cheap everytime we have been there half our meal has been missing when getting home. The staff need to stop chatting about what they did at weekend and who they are with and concentrate on the customers food. We have lose over £50 in missing food, and it to far to go back and complain after leaving. Advice to all check bags before moving on

Had food delivered again and Food came cold ordered 2 lots of large chips and they was half missing and the small burger i ordered was like it had just been slung together and squashed. Spent 24 pound and its not the first time ive been disappointed with order as before i ordered breakfast meals and that was half missing. Obviously not drivers fault as they just pick up the food from store.

Stopped on the way home from a few days away because it was convenient for the A1. Never again! The order number was listed as 'ready' for several minutes when there was no sign of it being ready to collect. It then vanished and reappeared again later. Judging by the fact that both burgers were luke warm when they eventually appeared, it may well have been ready but simply left sitting out somewhere. My husband's was even colder when he eventually got to eat it because they'd made me a chocolate shake rather than a strawberry one. He took it back to the counter and was left standing again for several minutes before they remade it (pretty ungraciously). I was also given the wrong McFlurry - this was confirmed by the counter staff but not changed as by then we just wanted to eat and get out. While my husband was waiting, at least two other customers were complaining about being served the wrong food, as well as a couple of delivery drivers who had been sent out with the wrong orders. At the same time a waitress tried to give me a whole tray full of food in spite of the fact that I was sitting at a table with no delivery number on it. We've eaten at McDonalds all over the country for years with no problems or complaints - never come across anywhere as chaotic as this branch.

Went through the drive thru, once I got home I realised I was missing the big tasty as part of my big tasty meal, and all the sauces I ordered with my chicken nuggets. I tried to call the restaurant to explain (I live half an hour away) and no one answered. Really annoying.

I went to mc Donald's in newark and yet again my order was wrong when I got home I called up and I spoke to someone called richard! His customer service skills were outstanding! He did everything to make sure I was happy after my poor service in the shop (wrong order) definitely need more Richards in the world! Thankyou for your help 👏

This is always a busy one and for this reason I think they are a little underwhelming here. it's ok as a pit stop but mainly due to location. tends to look shabby - staff not terribly interested..

Terrible customer service from beginning to end. Ordered to table and never delivered. After explaining it and showing it in App, staff member Olivia proceeded to ignore me and turn away, laughing it off with another member of staff. After calling for Olivia 2 more times, another colleague came who fortunately wanted to help. Thank you Abbie for even listening and helping at all. Everyone else didn’t seem to have ears or want to care about their own mistake. Funnily enough Olivia started to take other orders to tables and avoided even looking our way. Honestly never even met the girl before and seems to have some sort of problem with me and my wife for whatever reason. Priority solely seems to be for delivery’s and not a single care for people eating in. Won’t be coming back to this McDonalds anytime soon.

We have been here several times and today wasn't too bad. Normally its really really busy and there busy isn't enough space really around the outside of the building. Foods of "good" quality, i use good loosely as we all know what McDonald's is like.

Unclear drive through signs. Had to wait ten minutes for my food when there was only 3 people waiting, then the nugs were soggy and cold. My chocolate milkshake tasted like cardboard. The only positive was a member of staff who seemed to be employed in a role that can only be described as ‘standing at the entrance and smiling at everyone’. Just a very sad visit and one I will not be making again.

I call here once a week or so, only because I have road trip to the east and this place is about halfway. Its pot luck every time !!! Almost always the hot choc drinks machine aint working. waiting for order ( so much for the term fast food !!!) I ate here for the first time, and I found a hair in my cheeseburger ! I went immediately to the front and they exchanged it for a new one, but no refund or anything. This McDonald’s would have gotten a 1 star if it wasn’t for the friendly staff. Additionally the food was wrapped badly, and there were under filled drinks alongside no ice in the cola. (Warm cola) I won’t be returning to this McDonald’s. Shame.

Had to wait for nearly 10 minutes for an order once we had come through the drive thro. Worse maccies we have ever had tasteless and cold.

Whilst the place was clean the staff I saw had no sense of getting the food out properly. My food was not hot and there was a long wait for the fold.I saw 3 people query an incorrect order. Whilst some staff were working some staff were stood around chatting. The fries were rubbery too. Whilst I appreciate the bacon in the cheeseburgers was smoked, it was overwhelming and tainted the rest of the burger. By the time I started the second burger, it and the fries were barely warm I wasted just over £6.00.

Just off the A1 and a good half way point for us between Suffolk and Lake District. Staff are always good, no issues parking. Food as normal in every branch

Called here whilst in area for breakfast, Food was OK but the invoice was missing, and the drive-through window was closed before we had time to look in the bag. My wife had to go back into the cafe, where they gave her one which was not complete - lacking the entry code. Girl was a bit off-hand when she asked for the missing bill.

You usually get standard with Maccas - this wasnt quite the standard maccas experience. Popped in for breakfast, clean inside but very slow for food to come out and my cheesy bacon flatbread was a bit burnt. Not an overly great maccas.

Called in here for breakfast..this particular mcds is spotlessly clean Staff super friendly and very polite Food was super quick and unlike some mcds was piping hot... Excellent

Okay so it's just normal McDonald's food but very welcome at 11pm when everywhere else is closed. Good location, very near the Premier Inn.

Go to macdonalds and you know what you are getting. This is what we wanted, stop off on a long journey to get something quick to eat. What we didn't expect was to eat of dirty tables. After asking one of the staff if he could wipe my table or give me a cloth and I would clean it myself he asked me to repeat what I said, he repeated it, then walked off. Needless to say I ended up eating of the tray on a dirty table. Expect more from McDonald's.

My family and I always stop here when we travel to or from Chapel St Leonard’s or Skegness. The place is handy for us to get back to with a break in the journey. Place is always clean and quite popular.

Don't normally do macdonalds review because they are what they are! , But The service I received in here was second to none. One young man behind the counter was very polite and friendly and brought the breakfast meals over with apologies for taken so long and to be honest it's probably the fastest I'v ever been served in macdonalds . Just thought it was worth a mention. And the meal was fresh and tasty as always.

A poor service from McDonalds today - queues were small but wait times to be served and get our order were too long. Unfortunately staff let down the restaurant today by chatting instead of serving and did not give great customer care.

Called in here but we only wanted Flurry s. It was clean and welcoming. As with most McDonalds the serving staff are very robotic and seem disinterested. As this was our first visit to this particular McDonalds we didn't know the layout of the car park. It is one of the worst McDonald car parks we have been in as it is really small. When we called there was a delivery at the hotel to the rear which added to the problems getting into the car park.

The McDonald's here has often had it's good and bad service moments. My latest visit shows that they are still incompetent and don't do things correctly. As everyone knows, McDonald's monopoly is on and which products come with stickers are stated online. But unsurprisingly, this McDonald's let's down its customers as it does not give out what it should. McDonald's makes lots of money from monopoly but when they don't do things appropriately it loses custom. So when I saw that I got no stickers on my McFlurry, none on my wrap and none on my cheese dippers, I was not very happy and unfortunately I was unable to go back and correct this but due to this and the general ignorance of the staff, I will not be returning here again

Well worth a visit - good staff, quick service, clean and inviting. Plenty of room and free phone charging.

Service was relatively slow which was surprising but on the plus side it was fresh and warm which was good. The negatives to this Maccies is the car park and entrance of the road is ridiculously small and tight, they have always run out of the creme egg McFlurry. Also when my girlfriend realised she was missing her sweet chilli sauce and went to ask for it not only was she questioned as if she were lying about not receiving it they guy had a serious attitude problem which is far from good customer service

Very recently had a refit, this has made the car park even smaller which is a retrograde step. It now has self ordering screens, the staff seems friendlier but the food remains variable. All too often it is poor and luke warm. I had hoped the food woukd hafe got better but so far I'm sadly disappointed

If you are addicted to stuffing MacDonalds plastic burgers down you and you live in Newark then you are out of luck at present! You will have to look elsewhere for your "fix" 'cos they are undergoing a major refit and closed for the next five weeks, supposedly reopening on the 22 February.

Parado para desayunar aquí en el camino de la Newark Showground. Estaba muy concurrido a primera hora de la mañana como está justo al lado de la rotonda en la Lincoln Road.

Paramos aquí unas cuantas veces, aparcamiento siempre ocupado pero añadido de tener padres y niños espacios. Nos sirvieron rápidamente y eficientemente, lo que siempre es una ventaja cuando los niños son tarving'. Personal mantener un restaurante limpio y ordenado, y a pesar de la aparcamiento hay mesas siempre vacío.

Como cabe esperar de McDonalds, la comida está bien.

A menudo nos paramos aquí en nuestro camino a visitar familiares en Birmingham y Londres y siempre nos gusta mucho.

My son and I stopped off here in the early hours. Friendly drive thru staff, hot fresh food, milkshakes not available at this time but guessing this may be when they are cleaning machines. Best McDonald's Visit ever.

Several poor visits to this spot have forced me to write a review.1. Two lanes for car orders... but you do not get served in turn.2. Full of transit vans that are (a) too big for the drive through and (b) too big for the car park3. No means of contacting the "restaurant"4. Food is often thrown together. I've attached a picture of my Sausage and Egg McMuffin. For the avoidance of doubt, when you pay £1.99 for one of these it is supposed to be a "sandwich"... and not just the ingredients thrown into the bottom of a bag.5. Employees smoking on the road. Not good.

If you want a quick burger then McDonald's is a obvious choice but this franchise serves food which is often poorly cooked, not warm enough and thrown into your bag. Yes you know what you are getting but standards here could be improved

Situated at the junction of the A1 and the A46 quite an efficient fast food restaurant delivering what it is designed for with a minimum of fuss

On the way to the showground my wife and I stopped off here for a quick snack. It was very busy but we were served quickly, the place was clean, the tables were clean, the food was good and the toilets were clean, yes I would go there again but the car park is a bit tight.

More often than not, this particular restaurant fails to deliver. I often find my morning coffee bereft of coffee and merely a cup of warm frothy milk. The sausage in the muffins would seem to be cooked to within an inch of its life. Several times I have been advised of an additional charge for tomato sauce, and the hash browns are usually hit and miss.

Rush hour Friday morning. I never eat any any Mc D, but its always good for coffee and a comfort break, on this particular Friday at 8:10 am, no coffee...... "sorry mate. the machine is being maintained", says the pubescent yoof behind the counter !Can you effin believe it ?
