Mcdonald's Restaurants in Windsor and Maidenhead

No benefit of dining in/takeaway as delivery orders always have priority. Waiting longer times and seeing so many delivery drivers come in and out. Less important but still annoying is sauces are always forgotten and have to ask every time.

If I could give this store and Uber Eats 0 star I would. Absolute joke 7 times failed delivery. It got so bad that they thought I was fraudulently scamming the refund. When I called Uber they hung up. I wish they read these reviews to improve but they won’t.

The food was freezing cold and the nuggets tasted like they've been around for a long time

Second time i have ordered through delivero and the food is cold and missing items ordered . Management has the worst customer service and attitude . . If this is what customers services all about then why do people support a manager like this . Told me you can get something next time . And then put the phone down in my ear . Appalling service

Very poor experience. What’s wrong with some of the staff! Picked up my fillet from Taplow Maidenhead and it had completely shrunk in size, there was a dot of tartar sauce in the middle and it looked a mess. I was charged £4.29 to top it off, waste of effort going there and am still hungry!! Absolutely pathetic Mcdonals!!!! No pride in a job these days 😡😡😡

Ordered a McCrispy but the chicken used was not the usual McCrispy chicken burger. Don't charge for/sell something that you don't have available!

Food Missing again! Ordered via the McDonalds App and nuggets share box missing. Last week 3 meals ordered and Fries were missing to all the meals. Spoke to Manager who takes my name and then i have to go into store and pick up the food. Its just a nightmare can't get the order right. So annoying.

New Taplow restaurant is very disappointing. Poor slow service, staff appear unhappy and uninterested. Layout is poor clutted and too small. Food took ages and was barely warm, fries were hard and cold. Been open less than a week and milkshake machine apparently not working. Don't hurry to this restaurant.

Sometimes for convenience you just gotta go to McDonalds, and the service in Maidenhead has always been good. Credit where it's due for a well designed interior. Just avoid peak times when its too crowded.

Terribly squashed bun, under filled fries and milkshake. Last time customer, £8 for a large meal, better value for better fayre out there.

My chicken mayo burger have just a smear of mayonnaise. I asked for more and manager said they didn’t have any portions to give!

Nice touchscreen ordering system but staff were pretty useless; forgot the ketchup and the toy in my happy meal and then challenged me when I asked for the toy. Poor attitude.

my husband came back with mc donalds due to a very stressful week. mozzarella sticks with no dip even though my husband reminded the person as they have forgotten before.hardly any french fries and tasteless dry buns and burgers,He asked for extra pickle but nothing tasted of anything

Ever since the new serving format was introduced the food is lukewarm to cold every single time we order. Are McDonald’s thinking that now everything is freshly prepared it is okay to serve below hot or even warm food. I have watched the food being prepared in the Maidenhead branch and my guess is the method of warming meat or buns is set too low to make anything remotely hot. Also why do some people wear hair nets and gloves preparing food and some don’t. I’m disgusted with the place and have now decided to not eat McDonald’s food until it is hot again and hygiene has been restored. Trying to save money on fuel bills and hair nets, gloves is not on when you serve cold Mchairburgers.

Usually the service is slow and there are many people waiting to collect their orders. If you manage to find a seat amongst the empty trays that other inconsiderate customers leave on the tables it makes for an interesting place to watch the folk of Maidenhead. Quite often find rough and readies hanging around outside. At lunchtime it just gets overrun with school kids.

Not for the first time takeaway was missing something, ( serves me right for taking their word..), I can honestly say I’ll never go there again.

What can I say. It is a McDonalds. This branch was updated recently so all very fresh and modern inside. Can get busy but don’t they all.

I visit this place every week on Thursday cos, no other choice. My son loves the place I don't have any problem with the location or the seating area my only concern with the service. Horrible. Had to wait every week at least 10 minutes for the food. After waiting you get your food cold. Not short of staff still receive service like this not acceptable.Regards,GB

Its in the main market area, quite a busy place. Have a proper area of sitting, can enjoy the place, lots of other things around.

I don't know what health and hygiene they practice here, but watching a manager pour HOT oil from one container by another not wearing cloths and still cooking fries, shocked me. The danger their is increased by the stupid training this person received. Shocked and the fries taste horrible, probably because the temp is being interfeared with what he was doing. Want be visiting that place ever again, wow

Very friendly staff and very quick service despite being busy on a Bank Holiday Monday morning. Very good coffee also.

Le pregunté al gerente por qué el personal preparando la comida no eran usando guantes de vinilo tareas comida. Me dijeron que tenían una estricta, lavar tus manos cada 30 minutos de política. Realmente? Cómo parar las células de la piel se contamine la comida? Cómo parar las heridas abiertas infectando a la comida? Cómo es que en cualquier manera higiénica? Los cirujanos se lavan las manos, pero todavía se usan guantes. En este día y edad, este repelente. Ah, y a pesar de haber sido objeto de una reciente renovación, los baños están cerrados porque no trabajo.

Well located close to the car park and the shopping mall. A good size restaurant. You know what you get and this is a comfortable branch.

Standard, clean and easy to access - kept kids happy :-) Was very quiet for a Saturday evening but not much choice of restaurants for kids that we could find so went with what we knew they would like!

The staff were all young school leaver looking people, not overly happy but still working hard nonetheless. This is the best McDonald's for hot chocolates - not overly watery, flavoursome and hot. The food is what you'd expect and hope from a McDonald's in terms of taste, quality and quantity. Food can sometimes be a bit lukewarm but asking staff to change it is no hassle (on the fore front anyway).Breakfasts are delicious, muffins are nice and moist and crumble easily. Burgers are tasty too. If you like McDonald's then it's a good one.

McDonald's is known for consistent, inexpensive fast food. You can enter a store anywhere in the world, and have a reasonably consistent experience. Sadly, this restaurant falls well short of this consistency.The decor, branding and food is exactly as you expect, however on the three occasions I have been here, the speed of service has been stunningly slow. If I am in a rush, I take a quick look at what burgers are ready, and racked up, and choose those. So on this visit I did exactly that.Was that OK for a quick order-pay-leave transaction? Not at this branch. Here, it appears that the till staff have responsibility for wrapping completed burgers and racking them. So, even though it would have taken less than 30 seconds to grab and bag my burger, I waited and watched as the server painstakingly wrapped 12 burgers in about five minutes.If this had happened once, I would shrug it off, but this was the second time they did exactly this, and the third time their fast food has been achingly slow. Not impressed.

Have eaten breakfast here twice this week. Returned today for 3rd breakfast while away from home. Watched server cleaning floors go from mopping to serving hash browns without washing hands. Walked out won't be back.

i like to thank you for my very first experience at 50 years old of a McDonald's as i have up till now just looked into the abyss so to speak i liked to note the much improved colour scheme of mouldy green i think while holding my plastic cup, straw, paper cup holder, chip holder, brown bag, paper salt packs , and 25 paper napkins i think it done its job and made me think of the environment nothing prepares you for the most vacant look ever seen on a human being since the dawn of time and ask as if all one word whatdoyouwant i passed her my £1.99 token with pride in my heart and a tear in my eye added an apple pie and passion fruit iced drink paid the money and after due time left with the aforementioned food went outside with a spring in my step sat at a bench laid out my banquet opened up my bigmac i think that's what it was, looked at the photo looked at my big mac looked at the photo looked at my big mac and even after watching every C.S.I. i could not see any resemblance to the beautiful picture with its perfect toasted bun the tomato dressing the succulent double burger the vivid green lettuce the slightly acid girkins and melted cheese theres a time in your life when you have to take a chance i sunk my teeth into this nameless food stuff it lived up to all my expectations devoid of any ascertainable or discernible flavor unfortunately it looked as good as it tasted the word bland just doesn't cover it bland ( uninteresting, dull, boring, tedious, monotonous, dry, drab, dreary, wearisome;) the words just don't do it justice i took a drink of my passion iced drink i was not prepared for how cold this iced drink was it was colder than the coldest day at night 25 feet under snow in the middle of the north pole in a ice age as my stomach turned inside out and second lung was about to collapse i had a good idea, eat some of the apple pie it said hot on the side of the packet yes once again the word hot bears no resemblance to the meaning in the dictionary heat(. having a relatively high temperature )pushing the word (relatively) to its furthest meaning the pie was hotter than the center of the sun and when it met the iced drink i thought i was going to die my stomach was getting pulled through my nose into a different dimension the pain oh god the pain please let it stop and after a few minutes and a bucket of tears it deep joy the pain subsided to just pure agony it was over and i have only 9 tokens left

Visiting this restaurant today for a quick coffee at the start of a day out was a pleasure today. I lovedcomingon tithe atmosphere of this 'fast food restaurant' was a please as all the counter staff were so friendly and we were severed so quickly too. Lee and Nicky were a credit to the organisation and I would not hesitate to return again or recommend this restaurant to any one else. Keep up the good work here.
