Food experience gone down hill . Not a fan anymore

Enjoyed a breakfast here this morning was served by a polite young lady called Ruby very polite and prompt ,maybe the member of staff in the black and white spotty top (possibly management as wasn't in uniform )should take not of her colleagues customer service skills as the way she spoke to the young members of staff was VERY rude and unprofessional!!!

overall a good experience, tried the EGG muffin meal in breakfast.

A physics breaking level of smelly-ness

We placed an order and it came after 40 minutes of waiting. Our meals were cold and they didn't give us any napkins. Moreover, we've tried to contact one of those employees but they seem busy talking to each other and playing with the equipment. Also there was a member of staff who was walking around our food with a vape in her hand. Food and infection control is 0. Everything was disappointing and I hope they gonna improve something.

Avoid at all costs, seems like this is a McDonald's tailored to delivery only, went in an placed the order, didn't get a receipt, got the order and got home to find items missing. I'd just avoid not worth the hassle.

Keep ordering through just eat and McDonald's get my order wrong every time, last time I'm going to use just eat for them as I'm fed up of this, it's a total scam

I ordered through a delivery service and received an order that had been specifically requested without cheese due to allergies, with the cheese very much in tact. The sticker was applied with the requests very much visible and one of the two instructions was actually followed. I’m unsure which makes it more useless? The issue did not lie with the delivery service- they absolutely done their job unlike this restaurant. I contacted the restaurant and apparently spoke to the manager who wasn’t comfortable disclosing their name. They advised me they cannot offer a refund or a code to re redeem, and when I asked for an email address to contact their complaints team, she stated that the complaints procedure was to call on the phone line that I was using 🙃🙃 Absolutely useless and terrible terrible service. Really really basic instruction and so many issues for a bloody £2.70 burger!! Sadly items are missing almost every time I order and I ALWAYS let it slide, or the order is not quite what you ask for and it seems by using delivery services they can just freely pass the buck. Very disappointed and will not be ordering again, especially from this restaurant. I will wait to hear from anyone regarding my complaint but won’t hold my breath. Avoid!

Good quick service and food hot. Still good, even on a Saturdays morning...

Before self-service kiosks your order will have been fulfilled by a dedicated till operator. Now we order and wait while no explanation of delays are given, ice in cold drinks melt, hot drinks go cold and Uber Eats orders are given priority. 2 stars because at least the breakfast menu is fairly good value

You try to trust what your ordering & give them the benefit of the doubt & yet they still miss things on an order. I appreciate everyone is over worked & under staffed but it's not rocket science to read a ticket order 😔

Very busy, but it would appear that delivery drivers are priority

Took 25 minutes for 1 double cheeseburger, asked where it was after 20 minutes as my bus was approaching when they said it is on its way. My bus passed when they slowly packed it in the bag and stalled before saying the number even when knowing I was them. I left the store as I didn't want to spend another second in there and the burger was cold. The only good thing is that it is McDonald's, who doesn't like a maccies. But this chain is not a chain that should represent this franchise.

Absolutely ridiculous, they can’t even read what to deliver. I order at least 3 times a week and 2 times out of the 3 the made up the order. Hire people that can read and write and maybe you can have a good review.

Never usually have any issues here. I tend not to use this location due to the awkwardness of the drive-thru layout and the changed entrance and exit.

Everytime order from this McDonald's when food arrives something is always missing

Worst one around I don’t know how it can take so long to do a order 25 mins for a cheeseburger I only use them cos there local but they are so bad and take so long

Terrible ! They leave your food standing for ages then attempt to serve it to you cold?! Flat cola as it’s been left sitting there for so long. The staff don’t seem to care at all. Not the staff’s fault - definitely a management issue….

Clean good service and nice atmosphere

Worst McDonalds I have ever been to. How can they call it ‘fast food’ when you have to wait 30 minutes for your order! They prioritise Uber/Just eat orders so you have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for anything!

Service is all done by touch screen as for atmosphere just noisy.

Had a big mac, was fresh and hot. Service was good, , There's never an atmosphere of any description, it's a fast food restaurant, I wouldn't expect one really.

Absolutely shocked at the service. Ordered at the kiosk. No printer receipt with order number on and no display to tell you what your order number is. Then waited by the cashiers desk to find out my number. After 10 minutes the girl turned around and said that she is not allowed to take orders and to go to the kiosk. I explained what my order was and could she find the number of me. She returned promptly and gave me my number. My order was placed at 10.12 am. My number was called at 10.37. I collected my tray and sat down. I then had to go back to the counter and ask for sugar and a stirrer. Sat back down. Opened up the pancakes and found no utensils. So back to the counter again. Waited a few minutes and was then acknowledged. I asked for utensils and was given them. Sat back down. By this time food now cold and coffee was also cold as it was made 30 minutes ago. Not busy with customers. But loads of home delivery orders on the screen. Will I come here again? Probably not.

Such a disappointment to not be treated as a valued customer. Always refuse to serve and always directed to the order kiosks even when paying by cash and using a voucher - so always have to return to the counter - and invariably, the kiosks won't even take the order. It's soooo frustrating and unnecessary. Dislike this McDonalds immensely!

Loved the babies crying in the background, proper relaxing atmosphere. Only downside is that instead of handing me 37 ketchups they handed 29

UPDATE: For those of you complaining about your orders being late or cold, here's a picture of why that's happening. They are too small, understaffed with poor management. Staff are friendly enough but the food takes way too long to arrive for a place that is supposed to be a 'fast food' restaurant. And besides the breakfast here the food quality is very poor, I had the worst burger today which was cold and the gherkins tasted like feet.

I ordered 5 times, once my order didn't arrive, they blame uber when I talk to uber, they blame mcdonalds, they point at each other... for me - 70£ for 5 orders

Order was accepted by the restaurant and money was taken from my account. Five minutes later, the order said “delivered” but no food ever arrived. Seems to be a far-too common problem looking at all the reviews.

We ordered on the app where after about 20 minutes of waiting it was cancelled. This was followed by someone coming all the way to order our food, only for us to get home and to be missing a whole meal. I called McDonalds in which a rude guy picked up and when I was explaining what had happened carried on interrupting me, he told me I had to come all the way back to McDonalds to pick up the things we are missing and hung up on me when I tried to speak. This is not the first time and it’s ridiculous when we were so use to good service and in recent weeks and months it’s gone down hill.

Shocking service and the food was the worst I've had at a macdonalds

Staff are friendly chips weren't that great. As it was lunch time thought they could have been better The new chicken burger was very tasty. I didn't have the spicy cheese. Just tried the crispy chicken and what it was very spicy. Very busy but managed to get a table

McDonalds is what it is. Food was warm and the restaurant was clean. Can't really ask for much more

Service was really slow. It took at least 15 minutes to get our order. People that ordered after us for their food before us. I felt forgotten about. Even when it said collect order on the board it wasn't ready to collect then we disappeared from the board entirely. Not sure I'd choose this location again. Food was good as always though.

So incredibly disappointed with this McDonalds which is one of the worst we have been to. They won't serve you at the till even when not busy - just direct you to order on the boards. They refuse to serve. It is such a shame as some of us want the interaction, have queries, want to pay by cash - but this franchise won't budge. Most McDonalds are still lovely and want you to have the McDonalds experience! Sadly this is our nearest - I avoid at all costs if I can as always end up stressed.

Ordered off the app, the driver couldn't find out house so we had to drive around and find her, when we did she gave us the wrong order, was very rude, had to call uber who were as helpful as a chocolate spoon, after being on the phone which seemed like forever we finally got a refund which can take upto 10 days, and we still didnt get our food

Illiterate morons who are going to get your order wrong no matter what you say.

Friendly staff, you can always find coloring paper/flag/crayon for your little one, but the place is small and crowded unfortunately most of the times.

Hot food, served fairly quickly in a relatively busy town centre.

Yet again, no milkshakes - never known another McDonald's to not have milkshakes as often as Havant. Here's an idea.... clean the machines either in the evening or early morning and not constantly have them not available until around lunchtime or early afternoon.

Not my favourite place but also noticed the portions have got smaller. Staff are friendly though. Just a typical McDonalds.

Service at this place is good, the food always comes quickly. Food is the usual quality for McDonald's and always comes warm. Milkshakes are great. The actual place needs more maintenance and cleaning, is always messy, and there are food leftovers left everywhere. There is no parking at this place, but a possible parking of a road nearby, if it's empty at the time.

This is one of the worst McDonald's I have ever been to. They refuse to serve you at the counter, even though you want to pay by cash and their order machines were playing up. Even the McDs member of staff who helped me place the order said they are fed up with these order kiosks - and wasn't friendly. I do not understand why a straight forward process is made so long-winded and complicated. The staff used to be friendly and it was nice to deal with a human being. I am all for progress but this is def a back-wards step and I will avoid using the Havant branch at all costs. Another branch in Portsmouth was absolutely lovely and said it was a pleasure to serve customers! Havant could learn some tips from them!

Dull interior. Self order has become more confusing! Lots of Uber type eats couriers hanging around for orders. Food as it should be otherwise why go there ?

Getting too expensive, thought cheap and cheerful was the idea

It gets busy around lunch time so avoid going at peak times. The staff are very lovely and patient. They have a busy day ahead of them in a prime location. I saybto go outside peak times as seating fills up fast. There are places to charge your phone but it is not a big MD. If you have a buggy you might struggle. Best to get your meal and eat in park If weather good

The new system is rubbish and we had to wait 10 mins for 6 items. It was not even busy they were so slow.

Easy location, lots of parking and seating. Very clean! The crispy chicken salad was tasty. Prices are fair. Worth a visit

Sorry but I am finding that the food from any of the McDonald restaurants is becoming more and more bland and tasteless. Anything you order is just disappointing to the taste buds and the chips are like cardboard and even the coffee tastes cheap. Sorry McDonalds but BK is definitely beating you for taste and satisfaction.

Do not order a takeaway from this branch! Called Mcds as a whole meal missing just to be told by Denny that nothing he could do as Alan, his boss, said its up to just eat. I explained that all blame on Just Eat is not fair as after explaining to Denny that Mcdonalds have not checked the order correctly to ensure the order is right. Delivery drivers are not able to open sealed bags to check order this should be Mcds procedures! So cross as now they want an extra £4 to delivery the meal that's missing!!!!! Really??????????

It was during half term and the grandchildren wanted to go here but it was very busy. The food was good but it was very noisy and hard to find a seat . For how busy it was the place was remarkably clean .

Told I couldn't order manually.... had to use machines!!..... that I find frustrating to use...& almost always never give me a receipt....walked out, didn't have time.!!! Their should always be an option to order through cashier.

McDonald's at Havant have an amazing and excellent environment 🍔, there's always plenty of seat 🪑 available. The service was quick and the staff 👨‍💼 were always helpful and friendly. It's a great place to stop for lunch 🍔 at Havant.

It was very quiet when I visited 6pm ish. Except for the endless flow of delivery pick up drivers. Order machine ran out of paper, so no ticket given. Had to explain. Eating in. I noticed my chips and burger just waiting on the try wile my nugents and drink where pepared, thinking they are getting cold. Sat down to eat. No pot of source. Needed with 6 chicken nuggets. So had to go back queue at the counter staff busy with delivery people plus customers trid my best to get noticed, had to wait and wait. Got a sauce. Sat back down my food now clod. Chips poor when cold, as was my Big Mac. Even the apple pie was cool. Of course I ate it all. I was hungry. I have had better meals, service. Just unlucky.

Unable to get served at the counter but not given the chance to explain why I couldn't use one of the 2 kiosks (2 out of service) had to leave and when I called to complain it turns out that the staff member lied and said I called her a cow, backed up by a colleague when there was no one else near. I had my child upset wanting food and asked him "how can I'' seeing I couldn't see the screens properly to order. It's a shame as usually the store is generally the best in the area/South as well as the most reliable for deliveries (when they're running) as they tend to actually check everything is bagged. Absolutely disappointed that I wasn't allowed to be served or explain and then made worst by staff lying.

Long queues, total chaos...won't use this branch again

Waited 40 mins for food saw delivery's waiting at least a half hour some longer hanging about and drivers asking where food is system seemed chaotic My food was cold but atmosphere was so bad in there just wanted to hurry up and get my granddaughter who is autistic out attitude of some staff wasn't great. Only plus point was toilets were clean. Staff member working on floor seemed to get no back up was literally run of her feet and having to deal with a customer who was being disruptive with electrical wiring. I felt for her as she was ha ING to deal with everything and that was a situation ready to explode management need to take more care

I am going to chuck acid at these employees at 11/10/22 at 16:34 because I found a hair in my burger for one of the workers not wearing a hair net and there was people being racist serving white people before me and I'm black by the way that's just straight up racism against my race its an absolute disgrace I am not going back here for sure

Food was cold after waiting an hour. Didn't offer to remake it or refund me because the kiosk didnt give me my receipt. Very rude considering I was the paying customer that had no reason to be waiting that length of time.
