Having now ordered two Kebabs in last couple of weeks I've been very impressed with the service and quality of food. I read previous old reviews which were bad but it seems to me the new management has really improved. Tasty food & fast service. Apologies for no pic looked so tasty I didn't take time to take one

very poor service today, was shouted at down the phone and told to "go away" when trying to order, still awaiting my refund!

Firstly After ordering over £50 worth of food it was delivered just to find our child’s burger brought a whole new meaning to the word char grilled. Should be called char mullered. Secondly All is not lost as it’s going in my tool box to be used as a hammer. Thirdly the large chicken shisk kebab ordered on line clearly stating chicken Turned up black char coated LAMB. uneatable and again I will find a use for that as I need some good door stops. Having asked lots of people and being advised never to use them as they are over priced, rude, shocking and get your order wrong I thought that I would give them the benefit of doubt. What a massive mistake. When my sister called to politely say it was not the right order and didn’t even get to the hammer burger part as the manager was so rude and basically told us if we don’t like it to walk away in sharp short jerky movements. Guys do yourselves a favour, don’t ever use these people. Save your money and find another kebab place. One that gives you your correct order and one that delivers food that can be eaten and not end up in your tool box and screwed to your skirting boards to stop your doors banging. Istanbul grill can do one. Here’s to the power of social media.

my food arrived fast so i was thinking it would be nice. how wrong i was, the chips were hard on the outside and tough on the inside like chips you left out overnight then heated again, the burger was fishy and very chewy with white little cubes, the ice cream was half melted. within an hour of eatin i had a very quick trip to the toilet. the diet coke i should add was warm i called to tell hem and i was told, why did you order it. left me a little shocked as how do you know if the food would be nice til after you buy. i was not rude to the guy but he was very rude and going by the food and reviews here i can understand why. of course not everyone's food is bad so i can only go by my experience but you could be unlucky too and if you are you will get nothing but insults from this place. it is sad when a take away takes no pride in their service or quality of food served.

We asked for two shish kebabs to be delivered. They were terrible. The meat was poor quality, the outta breads not even grilled, the salad was just lettuce, onion, one single slice of cucumber, 1/4 of a tomato. Soaked in chilli sauce, and I'm not sure how they get away calling it that. A waste of money, terrible food, avoid.

Worst food I've eaten in a long time. Even my dog wouldn't eat it. Definetly won't be ordering again.

This place is disgusting 30 children were groomed here 100% fact Britain First were handing out leaflets outside with all the truth Injunction to close at 11pm at night. Do not let your children anywhere Near this place

I reckon I've had better frozen pizza from Iceland. I ended up eating cheese on toast. Good delivery time though! :)

The food arrived hot and was delicious. The pizza was the best we’ve had for a long time! The kebab was brilliant. I ordered a large and it was excellent value for money and tasted really good. There was plenty of meat, the salad was fresh and there wasn’t mountains of it hiding the meat. The pitta was fresh too. We’ll definitely be ordering again.

I have a friend who used to work here and he told me they spit in the food. I also went and the staff were rude. I found what looked to be half an insect in my kebab

I asked for no onion on my kebab but got onion. My husband asked for garlic mayo and got ordinary mayo.

I only eat a take away once, went in the bin. My niece went there, the food was greasy, disgusting but she suspiciously was offered to eat for free (which she did not accept and left) and subsequently treated very rudely

I can't fault the service and the food overall. But maybe a little thing my last 2 orders haven't been as perfect as before. Last order the kebab meat was all little bits which makes me think this was all last bits thrown in and not freshly cut. Which would explain why delivery was 30 mins early. And order prior to that pitta breads were missing. Now these aren't big issue's but when you are a regular customer it has to be mentioned. But in general otherwise can't fault it

The pizza was freezing cold, delivery driver gave it to me covered in rain. I said it’s cold and he shrugged shoulders! Had to heat in oven, for a 24 pound delivery I expect more!

Salad consisted of mostly lettuce, 2 slices of cucumber and tomato and big lumps of feta cheese. Coke was warm. The burger and chips were of poor quality. Won't be buying again.

You should have more than 1 driver

I ordered the food at half 8, it then arrived at 10 freezing cold, so I phoned the shop and they apologised and said they would bring out freshly cooked food which was great. It then took another 45 minutes to get here, my kebab was completely plain when I ordered salad and sauce, it was like eating cardboard, it’s disgusting. The chicken nuggets are so dry I couldn’t even swallow without a drink. Just a bit of advice for the future, do not ever keep a pregnant woman waiting 2 hours and 15 minutes for there food again!!!!!!!!! Will never be ordering from this disgusting place again.

I have NEVER been let down by Istanbul's amazing food and service. They're very friendly and will help with any issues - their service and customer appreciation can't be beaten. I would definitely recommend the Sirloin Steak or Lamb Chop meals - as they're absolutely delicious! The marinate sauce they use is to die for, the chips absorb some of it for even better flavor. The salad is absolutely refreshing with a hint of what seems to be vinegar or relish and makes it even tastier. Then you also have onion rings and mushrooms to boot! Seriously try one of them, it'll rock your world. Their service and food definitely has earned a lifelong custom from me!

nearly on time but slightly late but that’s to be expected on a Saturday evening I suppose. food was pretty good. BUT. they delivered a chicken donner kebab instead of a chicken kebab as ordered.

Rude owners, bad food, very dirty and recently in the center of a scandal of minors grooming, to avoid at all costs.

Best kebab around, excellent portion sizes and price!!

Ordered 2 large donor kebabs and a small chicken kebab with chips. The order took over 2 hours to arrive, the donor meat tasted like rubber, the chicken in the 3rd kebab tasted strange (surprised if it's chicken) and also cold. I've since told friends about this place who live in Portsmouth and they have told me some right horror stories about the place regards hygiene. Never again thanks when I'm down this way again. Don't waste your money.

These guys need to get back to where they come from because rats behind the counter is not what we expect When we order a kebab. This country has food ratings God knows why these are allowed to serve food to the public Stay away - I never ate but I saw a rat

Needed a late night pizza and garlic bread! Great quality and delivery time!

This was hands down some of the worst service I've experienced. Waited for our food for over 2 hours, called several times to be repeatedly told it was 'on the way'. Finally informed us the driver had given our food to someone standing outside our large apartment block (as we had already been paid for by card). Annoying - but fair enough, mistakes happen. It was when speaking to the member of staff who was so so rude that their clear lack of respect for their paying customers was evident. He bluntly made out it wasn't his problem, and they would send food out again which would take 20 mins. (So nearly a 3 hour wait for a kebab for 2 people). His attitude was disgusting, so when I asked for a refund, he told me he would have to send a driver out to deliver it in cash - I suggested as we had waited over 2 hrs by this point, and were repeatedly told our food was 'on the way' (despite us now knowing it had been delivered to a random person 40 mins after ordering) it might be nice for him to bring the food we had originally ordered along with it. The response was 'don't tell me how to run my business'. Well, maybe someone should because the way it's being run at the moment is shocking. The driver turns up - hands us 20 quid and goes. Truly one of the worse experiences I've had with a takeaway. I will never order from them again and will advise anyone thinking of doing so not to bother. Can't comment on the food, despite waiting so long, we never had any. If you're in their delivery area, I would highly recommended Pompey Kebab - food always hot and on time, and lovely phone and delivery staff every time!

I normally love their kebabs but last nights was very dry and they forgot the chilli sauce. Order before that was very late, around 1 hr late. Not sure why the sudden issues but thinking twice about whether to use them again.

Ordered food at 8:30pm, still waiting for it to be delivered at 10:30pm. Called up to cancel order as waiting time was abismall, and was told that delivery would only be a few minutes. The food never turned up! Wanted to pay by card originally but the guy taking the order hung up after we placed order and before taking any card details - lucky i didnt pay that way because the food never even arrived! Terrible service.

Kebab meat was sliced too thin and dry. Lotta bread was also dry. Eclair was horrible and the cheesecake was ok but still frozen. Wouldn't order from here again.

Ordered previously and was charged additional money at the door by the driver ordered another time and not charged for delivery then have had service where been waiting over 1hr for food when quoted 30 mins and food was cold and was given a store credit but not told the valve ordered again tonight at 5:30 told 30-45 mins explained about cold food and credit and from last order given £2 credit and food turned up 1:15 mins later so 30 mins late and cold again called up and said make it fresh and bring straight out but that was 30 mins ago so now been two hours and still waiting on food as not impressed

The food wasn't nice! I know it's fast food but I expected something better than what I got. Stale chips (very hard hurting mine and boyfriends teeth), salty kebab and salad, over crispy chicken (chicken tasted like it was from Iceland or something. Absolutely tasteless) Overall it was a waste of money. Wouldn't recommend!

Nice food, eggs tend to be badly cooked so would not suggest the egg burger. However the portion sizes are always generous and the food is good quality

5 minutes later than planned, BUT, free bottle of coke and amazing food. Absolutely wouldn't hesitate to order again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
