Mcdonald's Restaurants in Harrogate

Drive through took order down wrong. Then corrected order was still wrong. Ran out of time so had to leave with wrong items. Shift manager needs to get a grip.

Ordered through Uber app, apparently they have no control of the delivery drivers. I live with 5 minutes of the restaurant and yet it took over an hour and the food still hasn’t arrived. So cancelled and went somewhere else. Ripon needs a Burger King or KFC as Macdonald’s service is horrendous. Every time we have been the order isn’t right.

Consistently miss items from my take away order, the 11am menu change over is a shambles and everyone looks stressed and joyless. I remember when going to McDonald's was something to look forward to. Now it's an expensive, miserable experience from a company on the slide. Profit before staff and customer in evidence in every branch. There's other places out there, I'll be trying those instead

Went in for a McFlurry and what was supposed to be an Oreo frappe, however what I actually got was a vanilla milkshake with a few Oreo pieces on top! For £4 this is not what you expect, I would have gone back in to complain but with having a broken ankle it’s not as easy as that 🤣 McDonald’s get better and stop robbing peoples money 🫣

i don’t know what’s going on at the minute with mcdonald’s food but it is absolutely atrocious and staff can’t seem to get orders right which are written down on a receipt, i ordered a 3 piece chicken select meal which is on my receipt and they gave me a cheeseburger i also ordered large fries which were half empty and soggy with no salt on them, id also ordered sweet curry dips and they gave me sweet and sour which was also on the receipt.

No paper in machine for order, no tables, poor service, outside tables dirty and no toilets open dirty!

This establishment is terrible! Every person I know that’s been here has had a wrong order or missing items, the food was stone cold, the rat that run from near the back door was the icing on the cake …. Until we got home and there was a hair in the burger. Safe to say I will NEVER eat here again and neither will any of my friends/family,

Probably the worst drive through i've ever been to , always messing things up . MIssed a 99p handburger off my £24 order and wanted me to go round again , join a queue of 12 cars ish and re-order ! . After a unsightly stand-off with podgy pants , the manager half saw sense .

No hash browns for breakfast so wanted to charge price for individual items manager rude and unhelpful this is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to avoid

New staff required to get the order right occasionally and a new fuse for the fryer plug as it’s obviously knackered.

I live in Ripon and have been here a few times. Always dirty, food usually poor, staff nearly always rude. Try the Morissons across the road instead

Went to McDonald's in ripon ordered 2 cheese burgers with extra pickles to get back to find some clown has filled my burgers with approx 40 gurkins so now soggy wet and cold very unhappy 😡

I agree with all the negative reviews of this place. It used to be OK till they introduced their self service screens. As a result service is far slower, the staff don't seem to care and the place is a dump. Normal for Ripon really....

Very clean inside. Very quick service. The food was hot. Plenty of car parking. Not much more to say.

After reading reviews I was dreading this. But was hungry whilst heading home so called in. Drive in. Was pleasantly surprised. Reasonable food delivered reasonably quick with reasonable staff and reasonable care. Isn’t that what maccy dees does?

No soap in either the ladies or the gents so do staff have access to soap? On reporting it to the staff the response was yea I know and when I questioned further why this hadn’t been resolved I was told they had to wait until Morrison’s opened at 10. This particular McDonald’s is attached to a 24 hour garage and co-op. Could they not have purchased soap there? Really should food premises open at all if satisfactory hand washing facilities are unavailable? They would have failed scores on doors if an inspection had been done.

Poor quality of food, only ever tepid on the drive through also some items not always available on the drive through, staff would rather talk between themselves than serve. I’ve tried it a few times to see if it’s a one off but it isn’t, giving it a wide berth from now on

The only safe thing to buy from here is a cup of Tea , I have used it for coffee often and it has been hit n miss , sometimes I have to bin the coffee so I stopped getting it and now just get Tea ,,, I think the reasons for the bad coffee are poor cleaning practices and using out of date milk .. The food I have had in past hasn't been great with having to bin it sometimes as it had obviously been sat there too long.. Then recently I have suffereed upset stomach from the food so I won't be eating here afpagain

Small restaurant, but decent enough food. Waitress service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant was very clean.

Two large meals ordered. Told to go to waiting bay. Again. Like a fool, didn't check the order. Got home (in Ripon, 5 mins away). Large fries were NOT large, more like a normal portion in a large fries holder. Milk shakes were "runny" not icecream. Worst of all, whilst my son's burger (veggie) was evidently freshly cooked, mine (Big tasty) was clap cold. And I mean COLD. The bun was physically cold to the touch, like it had just come out of a fridge, and the burger was just below luke warm. This is the third time this has happened and is simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH. I will not come again and will ensure that everyone I know is aware of just how poor this place is.

I visited the restaurant with my girlfriend and my son and we ordered from the kiosk. Big Sam Tennant showed me how to operate the machine and he made for a smooth and effortless transaction. Our food was delivered to our table promptly by Sam the man and Joanne the manager. The store seemed to be running well and the staff were friendly and polite. All in all we had a great experience, especially as Jake was occupied with the IPad's so I could play with his Happy Meal toy!

So place was busy as it’s school holidays and the lady walking the floor was to busy talking to off shift co worker . Everyone was cleaning there own tables as the place was gotty

We popped in here after going to the petrol station next door. It was early Sunday morning but still very busy, with couples and groups getting their coffee and breakfast fix before going off the days activities. We just a latte, as we were on our way back to our hotel for breakfast but it all look and smelled nice. The coffee was the same as all the other outlets, but that isn't a bad thing - just confirms that constantly good.

Terrible service! Waited 15 mins to get my order taken. And food wasn't great when it came! Only good point was the coffee was hot. Won't be going again.

Used the drive through as we thought this would be quicker - Wrong ! Seemed as though the car in front had an incorrect order which resulted in a very long wait while this got sorted, after being the only two cars the queue quickly grew almost to back on the road, once served we ha£ to ask for the receipt so we could use the offer again ,

I'm not surprised at the number of poor reviews this McDonalds has received. The service was poor before they introduced the automated ordering, it's now terrible and waiting times have doubled. The staff are churlish to say the least. I know its difficult to get people with half-decent customer service skills in Ripon but at least they could train them to smile and engage with customers!

Grandchildren wanted to come here for tea so we agreed, but as adults we were not happy at all. On top of the food being cold we were totally unimpressed with the running of the so called restaurant, there was no seating available so we had to wait quite a long time for a small table, really for two people to become available, where we all squashed around, however, all the time we were waiting there were two men sitting at separate tables on their own, not eating, not drinking, just working on Lap Tops, when I pointed this out to a member of staff, all they did was to shrug their shoulders.Where is the manager, why don't they ask people to vacate seating when they have finished, customer service at this place was a "BIG FAT ZERO"Also since they have supposed to have updated this outlet, it was a very bad idea to install a seating area for children with complimentary computer game screens, again while we were here the table was fully occupied by a lot of young children who must have finished their meals because they did not seem to have any food in front of them, but they had no intention of vacating the table for other clients, they were too busy playing games on the computers.This is not somewhere we could or would recommend, service poor, food awful, a really disappointing experience. AVOID

Went to mcds drive though at Ripon after work very hungry waited 20 mins nearly queuing on to the road, When i got my so called large quarter pounder yes large it had about 12 chips in the box the burger was bloody horrible..i understand there busy but for good sake hurry up fast food my hole and it wouldn't hurt for some of the staff to speak let alone smile really not happy DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT PLEASE "

Drive through used for breakfast. Sons bagel came empty. Went in store to get replaced. (A) staff focused on drive thru ignoring counter (b) staff handling food with no gloves (c) staff not using utensils to pick food upPoor standards, poor service. I wonder if McDonalds HQ would be interested???

This is definitely not as advertised a 24 hour McDonalds so advertised it as 1. Service was very bad

Visited a McDonalds for the first time with our granchildren, who for some reason seem to like "Happy Meals", it's a good job I wasn't eating it, I would not have been happy at all. These places actually encourage clients to eat with their fingers, we could not find any cutlery available and you have to eat the food from bags, the content of the happy meal was 4 or was it 5 small chicken nuggets and a very small portion of french fries, not even proper chips, let's not forget the toy, which is why the kids like the meals.Not a very nutritional meal for growing children, but there again for reasons I do not understand, these fast food outlets are still very popular with a certain age group, so as the saying goes "There's no accounting for taste" but keep an eye on your waist!Not somewhere I would choose to go for a meal.The after meal ice cream treat was very good and good value, which is more than I could say about the "Happy Meal".

Que era preciosa y estaba limpia, pero el servicio era un poco lento ya que solo había un miembro del personal que sirve en la barra y el viaje. La comida estaba bien cuando llegó, nada especial, las típicas que te esperas.Nos sentamos a una cola y pronto comenzó como quedó ocupado - necesidad de clasificar el personal, pero por lo demás bien.Hay aparcamiento exterior, así como algunos asientos alrededor del borde en los 2 lados.

Just been to McDonald's in ripon, disgusting, filthy, food and drinks all over the floor, waited 10 mins to be served, only to be faced with all the tables full of empty boxes, the floor was a hazard, drinks and food spilt everywhere, should have been closed , for emergency clean, should not have carried on serving food shocking

Tuvimos una comida y bebida dentro de 2 horas después de conducir - un merecido descanso. Como sería de esperar que la comida llegó rápido y nos sirvió un joven muy cortés. Mientras estábamos allí otros 2 jóvenes asistían a los inodoros y la limpieza las plantas sin entrometerse, un establecimiento muy limpio. La comida era deliciosa. Era fácil aparcar. We used the drive thru today on a Sunday in January. Service was quick and the food (happy meal with shake plus Big Mac meal) cost just over £7- great value. The service was excellent as the counter staff asked us to check our change because he thought he had dropped some, which was a 20p coin. He came outside to pick it up for us. This is the service that should always be offered so well done to this lad- keep up the good work. Food was great as well.

Tuvimos una comida de tocino sándwich con salsa marrón y un café blanco. . . . No salsa marrón y café no directamente, mi compañero tenía una envoltura de chocolate caliente y desayuno. . . Envoltura grasienta. y el chocolate caliente era agua plato, muy pobre por desgracia para nosotros conseguimos unos pocos kilómetros por la A1, así que no hay tiempo para volver.

No strawberry lemonade, yet still being advertised. Service was quite quick in the drive- thru. Food order was correct but only luke-warm meaning it had been sitting for a while after being cooked.

Monday after a day out wanted icream and milk shakes for the family. Typical Mc D's neither machine working. As long as it has been open this is always the storey on a hot day.

Llegamos al coche por sobre las 19:00h. Nos sirve inmediatamente sin problemas sea cual sea. Luego fuimos a la ventana de pago donde el asistente fue educado y amable. Finalmente recogimos nuestro pedido de otra persona amable y simpático, y fuimos a comer nuestra comida, que era excelente.

next door to MacDonald's is a play park. there is free Wi-Fi and also clean toilets. the staff are polite to customers and other members of staff. the 36 bus stops right outside MacDonald's.

Great customer service, fresh food. 5* Fast food done right! Highly recommended! Hot food managed correctly. Try the vanilla latte....mmmmmm!

Fui el domingo por la noche, el lugar estaba bastante tranquila, así que entré directamente a la barra, el servidor simplemente se miraban a mí, así que me pareció bien si puedo decir Hola no voy tampoco. Esto no parecen funcionar. Así que pedí mi comida y la elección de la bebida, dijo que era para llevar, entonces él atorarse en 4,89 libras me. Pagué. Luego, después de una rápida charla a la chica que trabajaba con él tiró mi pedido juntos, poner la bolsa de comida en la barra sin ningún tipo de reconocimiento o gracias o disfrutar de su comida, como me dijeron que se debía hacer. Yo no he gastado una fortuna pero no ir regularmente y servicio es inconsistente. Sé que no pagamos mucho, pero en el sector de la hospitalidad del camino de los clientes son tratados cuenta, yo por ahora voy a ir a un sitio diferente para un rato. Ah, y mi hamburguesa era bastante frío y las patatas fritas donde cojea. Pero el Tropicana era genial.

Si sabes McD's no hay mucho más que decir ... es una muy pequeña sucursal al lado de la estación de gasolina pero es lo que es. Popular con representantes aparentemente probablemente debido a la ubicación. Sin embargo, nuestros dos niños pequeños así que nos encanta visitar probablemente una vez al mes. El personal es encantador y el lugar siempre está limpio. El café es bueno también.

My work put me in this area. After the last visit, I was a reluctant to come back. I have to say that it was a lot better. There seem to be more staff around at breakfast time. The food was served quickly and the place was clean. It's McDonald's so don't expect fancy silver service and fine cuisine. Today the quality was brilliant. The food tasted fresh and the staff were helpful.I hope that this is the mark of a change in attitude for this shop.

2nd visit in a row they've charged for what we ordered but didn't give us our whole order when using the drive through, also large fries in large meal were a child's portion in a large box.I won't be going back now

This is certainly not fast food. As it has been here for around 12 years now you would have hoped they would have learned queue management- not a hope! Massive queues especially on weekends and servers who never seem to know what they are doing. Get it together Ripon as you are giving McD a bad name.

Had to kill time whilst picking son up late one night. Only place open after pubs had closed was McDsFriendly staff, reasonably clean and a reasonable coffee with burger and friesNot much more to say really - if you need to use or want certainly no better or worse than others. Handy it has a garage and co op next door too and a Morrisons oppositeA standard McDonalds!

Had to wait ages in the drive through due to the staff talking. I then ordered a sausage and egg breakfast. The muffin was so hard I had to take it back. They did replace it but then gave me a burnt muffin. It wasn't a good experience.
