Absolutely shocking service and horrible staff. Didn't care about you at all. Missed out half our order. Receipt didn't print so didn't get a receipt and when I went back to sort it out, I was told they couldn't do anything without it and no manager stepped in to assist or help in anyway!! Never go here unless you want shocking service and half your order missing!!

We are elderly ans come here for coffee daily The customer service is an absolute discrace Staff ignore you for long periods waiting to be served This is a daily occurance Coffe never hot If we had a mcdonalds closer to us for our little daily outing we wouldnt use this branch Management appear to have no contril over what their staff are (or arent doing) Worse mcdonalds i have been ti Not forgetting when we have food once or twice a week the orders are rarely correct when we get the food

Take a bit of pride in what you do and stop giving people their food cold. I returned the chips that had sat out for 10 minutes and were ready for the bin, to be handed more chips that were left sat for the same amount of time. The manager was rude and didn't care.

Absolutely despicable. Our 6year old daughter has a mustard allergy and we ordered a plan cheeseburger happy meal. When it arrived the packaging said plain. However, when my daughter bit into it, we realised it was not plain. When the manager Sophie was informed about the incident. We were given a new plain burger and a half hearted sorry as she walked away. I then went back to her when my daughter was showing signs of an outbreak and informed her of the severity again. However, Sophie just stood there silent. I said I would like to make a formal complaint and she replied, 'you need to call head office.' Sophie clearly needs retraining. We are highly disappointed in her approach to the incident.

Came at rush hour but went through drive thru really fast and the food was hot and tasty. The lady at the drive through window saw I was moving an old coffee cup from my drinks holder to put the drinks we had bought in and she offered to put my old cup in the bin for me. Sometimes it’s just so nice when people help you out a little in life. Thanks Sleaford MacDonald’s lady!

Young manager felt I was rude for asking for a name after receiving poor customer service. Rosie proceeded to tell me how rude I was for asking a name, the irony of her rudeness seemed to escape her. She proceeded to argue with me, was defensive and seemed unaware how her approach was causing further issues. Listening skills are helpful rather than confrontation and she seemed to enjoy her time not wanting to listen but instead want to make accusations. She then proceeded to blame me for the hold up. A manager who has tunnel vision and defensiveness is not a manger who promotes customer service or good skills for the smooth running of an organisation. Read any reply from Mc Donald’s left here with the above in mind, it will be full of scapegoating, further demonstrating their lack of care, regard or skill in effective communication or promoting the brand. When we fail to want to engage with feedback, no progress can be made Mc Donald’s. Training young staff to develop listening skills can be helpful. Rudeness is not asking someone’s name nor counting cars who go ahead of you due to your lack of service. You can’t blame covid for everything nor use it an emotional leverage to silence customers who have been treated poorly. Needless to say, we will go to Burger King in future. The grown ups might be there.

I don't eat McDonald's but bought my grandaughter a plain burger happy meal.. What's happy about it!!, I suppose the ty toy which is lovely.. She doesn't eat the meat,which I'm glad about...It was a dried up flop of something!!.. It might have been hot at some point..As adults we went across the road and had Hot food!!!..

Visited on a Sunday about 11.30am to a not that busy carpark. After ordering at the window was asked to park in bay 2 which as I proceeded to bay 2 was already occupied as was 1 & 3. After a wait of about 20 minutes and being offered 2 different meals some other poor soul was waiting for and watching customers who had ordered after us drive away with their food ours was delivered to my car window. Diving into the bag revealed cold chips so feeling a little strained as it was I didn’t even check the burgers and drove straight back round thru to the window where the lady then tried to give me the car behinds order, something maybe I should of taken! I explained the situation and was asked to park in bay 3 this time which again was occupied. In fairness our order did then arrive within minutes and was extremely hot and included an extra portion of chips which had all been upgraded to large. I left feeling somewhat sick as I have no self control when it comes to eating chips and burgers from McDonald’s, something I can’t really blame them for!!

Wouldn't usually complain but it's happened a few times now. Expect to get what I pay for without having to come back. It was bank holiday so I expect it to be difficult but when I used to work in a bar for example I didn't forget to give the customer what they paid for. I'm down two fruit bags and syrup on my pancakes. Wife hate's cheese but ended up with it on her flatbread. Pain in the ****.

Just had the worst customer service experience ever. I went to the counter and ordered 2 happy meals, so far so good. My order number was shouted out so went to the counter to collect the girl ha sed me the boxes telling me be careful the bottom of the box is falling out. So I asked if I could have another box because I was taking it out to the car. So she just turned round with the box shuvved the food back up in the box then handed it me back. I told her thats not fixed it and the foid was still about to fall out could I have another box. She just took the box huffed and rolled her eyes with an absolute look of disgrace and then started shagging me off to a work colleague obviously wanting me to hear her. So I called over the manager told him what happened. He then had to tell the girl who was getting aggresive and arguing with me and the manager at this point. All this just over asking for a new box. Totally disgusted with this. And totally not called for. This girl has some sort of problem and needs some training in customer relations. On the plus side there's a young lad who walks round asking if all is ok who is a diamond .

Last Friday morning I was with my family in Sleaford McDonalds when I experienced a rather nasty cardiac incident. I don't remember much at all as I was unconscious for a very long time, but my husband filled me in with the details. The manager, Aiden, was first aid trained and was with me throughout, handing over to the paramedics on their arrival. He kept me safe, alerted the emergency services, kept the public away from me, and even arranged for the staff to care for my Down Syndrome son to keep him away from all the action taking place on the floor! I think he is a hero and should be recognised for it by head office. By the way we often pop in for a breakfast on the way to my son's day centre and it is always fresh, hot, tasty and delivered quickly. I remember saying to him as the paramedics wheeled me away - "It wasn't the food"

We arrived promptly for our weekly trip to McDonalds after a long, hard day at work only to fond pur table hadn't been reserved for us. We disgruntledly ordered table service which arrived a whole 12 minutes later (you call that fast?) with no straws, no sauces, no napkins. The cheese bites arrived with no rich tomato sauce and we had to walk all the way up to the counter to be told they had ran out. The chips were stone cold and the burgers were luke warm. The McFlurry was completely melted and not stired. There was no ice in the coke and no subtle froth on the coffee. The cheese melt dippers were far too hot and the mix of tempretures of the food was unacceptable. Do you think this will pass Ronald? The service we have received today is disgusting and we are afraid we might never come back.

We had breakfast here twice , the first time in the cafe they got the order wrong even though it was done on the machine, so had to wait again for the correct items. Second time we tried drive through for speed but ended up having to park round the corner and wait for food. When it arrived it was fine!

We popped through the drive thru on the way to our daughter,s...the coffee was half way down the cup and so strong it was un drinkable, also the order was wrong...but as we were back on our journey, we couldn't complain, the next time we went past, we popped in, I told the assistant and she basically shrugged and walked off...not good for a McDonald's.

I took my children through the drive through on the 30th June at 6.30pmThe drive through was busy but it is that busy often. On this occasion food was being brought out to cars wrong so the poor young lad constantly had to go back. Our order took him 3 attempts back and forth to the car to get it right before finally I gave up and walked in myself to get the final drink and the missing fries. By this point 7 cars were waiting backed up in the grill wait area of the drive through and most people were getting cross. The doughnut I ordered was do stale and rock hard I binned it. The fries we had were cold by time rest of meal came out. No dolphins when I went in from manager at all disgraceful. Over £26 totally wasted. 1 star is to good for what we received. 32 minutes sat in grill bay is ridiculous!

Having had a bad visit here where it really was awful, it's only fair that I report on our travels we stopped here again and it could not have been more different, service was friendly and prompt, all orders correct and the food was excellent ( I know nobody is expecting gourmet in maccys) but the god was all fresh and well made, nice crunchy salad for once too. I hope it continues to be this good as it's a popular place to stop

Ordered big Mac and mcchicken sandwich meal via drive thru.I was given my food but had to ask for my drink.The chicken sandwich box had mayo on the bottom.Inside the box was big Mac sauce...The big Mac was so over filled. We visited this McDonalds as we wanted an early stop for breakfast and knew it would be open.There is a large car park with plenty of spaces as well as a drive thru. Seating inside and a few tables outside.Service was easy using the new order points and the meal duly arrived brought over by a member of staff.Typical McDonalds so you know what to expect and the coffee was very good.

Dropped in for a large late and a bottle of water at 21:20 on Wednesday 29th March and saw the queue for the drive through was massive so decided to go inside for what I thought would be quicker service..... Almost 15minutes from the time I ordered to when I got served!! For one coffee and one water!! During the time I was waiting the girl serving asked her manager if she could go home to which he said yes, she then decided to start talking to other members of staff distracting them from their jobs and didn't tell anyone else that my coffee was sat there on the side waiting to be given to me she just decided to ask to leave without handing it over which would of took her approximately 3 seconds extra on her shift. I then had to pull someone else to the side to point out that my coffee was just sat there and I was stood at the counter being ignored. It almost made me late for work and can't believe the terrible customer service in a so called 'fast food' restaurant. I definitely will not be returning there when I fancy a quick coffee as it almost made me late for work considering I thought it would only take a couple of minutes to grab a coffee.

I only bother going to this place if needs must.The car parking is off-putting, as there's limited spaces and a dangerous black-spot of a junction coming out of the car park back onto the main road.You have to take precaution of on-coming traffic both left and right and then pedestrians and cyclists. The hot-chocolate was weak and watery until I put in a complaint and it seems they've invested in a new hot-choc machine, thank goodness.

Visit this store for a quick bite to eat, quick did not happen, had to wait 10 minutes for some one to serve me, I was the only one in the que, staff seemed to be arguing over who was going to serve me, then had to wait a further 15 minutes for the food, i only ordered chips and cheese bites. On checking my ordered discovered they had no put the dip in, only then to be told they had run out and I would have to pay 25p for a different sauce. To finish this awful experience it was cold, would have complained but no adult present everyone was under 18, where are the mangerment team? Surely you can't expect a bunch of 16 -18 year olds to run a store

How can they get so many things wrong? First of all the burger was missing so I had to return to the counter, then my wife said all the chips were cold so they all went back... There's literally no-one over 20 years of age to deal with customers. For all the computer technology they've had installed and "improved processes" I've never known fast food to be so slow and for the quality of it and the restaurant's service to be so bad. Grrr!

I mostly use the drive through at Mcdonald outlets, because I am usually alone, and its easier to eat in the car, than to stand in a queue and the perhaps have to share a table with someone else. I do like McDonalds, and in particular the wraps, they are really tasty, especially the sweet chilli. The new touch screen order system is confusing, and I don't like it. I was surprised when the young lady said, haven't you ordered yet? She did take my order, and payment, and it was fine and hot when I got it at the next window. Several other outlets have 3 windows ( or staff standing outside taking your order) 1 to order, 1 to pay and 1 to collect, so its a bit odd when you come across one like this which is not the same. I realise there are different franchisees running the outlets ( or group of same) but one of the reasons people like me use McDonalds, is because it is comfortable to use, as we know what to expect. Nevertheless, the food was good as usual, and the young staff were friendly

Now that the drive thru has had a makeover there is the option to order your food through a touchscreen rather than giving the order to a person, this means the queue are smaller and you get served faster - fewer people taking orders means more people making orders.

We stopped on our drive up the country on Sunday. We use McDonalds all the time as 'service station' stops with the kids. The new screens meant that service took ages... really not sure why, much longer than ordering with a member of staff and being served. It is reminiscent of a poorly staffed Argos.Worse than that, the air con was so cold my children went to the car to dig out coats and dressing gowns to eat in! Was warmer outside, and to top it off the place is full of fruit flies. We will most certainly never use this stop again - would suggest you carry on your journey as far as Newark instead next time :-(

A very simple task - 2 x large white coffees. Waited 10 minutes just to pay and no one arrived to take payment . Eventually Stevie no stars arrived and couldn't operate the till . Clearly the step up from trolley collector at Tesco was too much of a big leap in life for Stevie . Left £4 for 2 x coffees as the whole process had become like a scene from the Titanic - Heading for the iceberg with no captain .Never again !!

Quick stop off on journey for lunch. I used the touchscreen for the first time and it all seemed to work well. It was then delivered to the counter quite quickly even though it was busy and I had customised one of the meals. The car park is a bit manic as it was a Friday afternoon at half-term. The quality of the Signature range of burgers is up there with most high end burger restaurants with far more care putting it together (made to order only) and using high end ingredients (brioche bun etc) I just hope that this range is here to stay as it is only in a few MD's outlets.

Clean. Friendly. Efficient. Restaurant design familiar to those who visit France, with pre-order screens which are great - well, if you have your wallet. I had to cancel and go via the Luddite queue of oldies who technology had passed by. Still, probably quicker and my limited edition Signature Classic, fries and 'nana milkshake were to go!So, any good? Big hunk of meat. Sadly overlooked (frazzled on one side) and, the too bland. Needed more pickle, more mustard and, darn it, a hefty pinch of salt. Great shiny brioche bun and decent fatty bacon, and the shake and fries were the usual McD standard. Perhaps next time I'll go for the spicy one. It just needed some zing.Overall, a good example of a quality McDonalds, and one where you can try out new flavours - albeit in the Lincolnshire flatlands...

Grandchildren desperate for food. Do not usually like any McDonalds, but this one was the best ever. Food actually tasted like good food, very easy ordering, touch screen and ipads on the tables. Great.

This restaurant has had an face lift. Now you can order your food from one of four touch screens with card payment only and no deviations from the menu. Should you only have cash or want to make a change i.e no gherkins then you can use one of two manned tills to order. In both cases you get given a receipt with a collection number and then you wait in another queue until your order is called. There is even a tv screen to let you know when you order is being prepared and when its ready for collection just like in Argos!! I dont like the new system, they have tried to squeeze in more seats so there is a smaller queuing area and the bins are now huge trying to get cutomers to seperate their liquids from their cups before disposal and some of the seat have Ipad type tablets for kids to use which takes up room on the tables. All in all a very inpersonal and cramped experience that i didnt enjoy.I will travel further afield for my fattening treat

We tend to use McDonald's on a regular basis for breakfast at weekends and have been to the Sleaford outlet many times.The food is generally of a decent standard, However over the last few months whenever there is a rush the service goes to pot!!! The food then becomes cold because there is not enough staff to cook it. The order is not right and then you have to fight your way back to get it sorted etc etc.The time to avoid is 9.50 - 10.30 otherwise you should be ok

The Sleaford MacDonalds can be very hit and miss. We have always had very good service when dining in, but the drive thru is a bit different. The last 3 meals we have had via the drive thru have had items missing, and although we have been reimbursed since, it is disappointong when you get home to find order items have been omitted and someone has to go without.

This McDonald's is the best thing since sliced bread !! And possibly even the iPhone ! The service is incredible, the staff are friendly and it is always clean and efficient. I would recommend that everyone travels here to enjoy this once in a life time experience !

Maybe it's a little unfair to pick on this particular branch and I don't want any member of staff to get stressed but driving home from Lincoln, my wife and I decided to stop for something to eat. looking at the ever changing menu, (there seems to be a new, short term creation on offer every other week.) I decided on the festive Chicken Sandwich. What made it festive? As far as I can make out, it seems to be the addition of chillies to the barbeque sauce. There was a time when McDonalds cut back on the salt that was automatically added to the fries. This branch seems to be on a mission to use up the surplus salt. I threw half of mine away as totally inedible.If McDonalds paid their staff a wage that wasn't so close to the minimum legal wage, the staff would take more pride in the job and you'd see an increase in customers.I still don't know what was festive about a spicey chicken sandwich.

Regularly use this Mcdonald's if I am in the area, very convenient as being on the roundabout of the A17 and A15. Has a large car park be warned about the speed ramps very severe. The staff can be sometimes helpful and sometimes not, but this is the same at any Mcdonalds. The premises like other branches is always kept clean a few other fast food companies could learn from there example. All in all average for what it is a fast food American burger bar.

Always very busy due to the location. We go if we want a convenient cheap bite to eat. It is what it is. Have to be in the mood for a Maccy D's really and sometimes it hits the mark and sometimes it doesn't. Fast, efficient service. But because of the volume of people coming and going the cleanliness is sometimes a bit haphazard.

Went to this restaurant yesterday for breakfast, all I can say is really patronising rude staff, well one in particular, I think she was Australian or from New Zealand, she was the most unhelpful person I have ever come across, she had little woman sindrome, made my stay there a real horrible experience, restaurant was nice and clean and food was as it should be, management get this women some customer service training, Horrible little person.

Myself and my husband visited the drive thru in the early hours of sunday morning, with only two cars in front of us we were sat waiting for 40 minutes. When we did get to the window we were told we may have to wait another 20 mintues as everything has to be cooked as its ordered. Very strange idea of fast food.

This place is one of the better McD I have taken the kids to. With hot fries every time and order being correct. If there's a complaint it is dealt with prompt and politely. Very good as it's very popular!

Food and service was good but visited the toilets and they were disgusting as though they get forgotten about not one cubicle was clean floors swimming in urine and mirror at sink filthy too, just putting it out there as it is meant to be a services.

Drive through is terrible when they are busy, Third time in a row the milkshakes weren't remotely set so refused them this time, average wait is around 20mins, they havnt got order bang on with any of last few, luckily this time in our favour. Advice would be if you see carpark full and que out onto road, go to the next one along as will be a long wait with dissapointing (hot cold food mix). They are simply to busy at peak times to deliver quality service. Good for the tills, bad for the customer.

App said 45 mins finally arrived 2 and half hours later. Rang to be told 15 to 20 mins then rang 45 mins later as still not arrived. No apology just told its busy. Food was lukewarm so needed warming up. Will not be using again!
