Called in for breakfast, wow lovely clean restaurant and staff Linda and Ian are a credit to the company, they never stopped working and cleaning smiling as they worked.

Ordered delivery. Came with missing items. Phoned highgrounds who were not interested. Told to ring customer services. Not wasting anymore time sent summons to head offfice

This place deserves to be closed, staff are clearly being bullied by other staff members and the managers and owners don’t care, disgusting place to work in and be in, most of the managers are clueless and shouldn’t even have a job

Another really poor breakfast at McDonald’s A cold cup of coffee A dry roll with 2 Luke warm patties, hard egg and uncooked bacon and all for seven pounds.

Wrong order today was given a chicken big mac it was awful, dry cold messy , I ordered a mc chicken sandwich, not the same , everytime I visit this site there is always a problem . Today is my last visit

Was so fed up of every single order taking so long so used the app. Even worse! Waited 25 mins just for 4 veggie dippers , which eventually came without any dip. Coffee had gone cold by then, lunch ruined.Even a simple order on a quiet weekday is too big an ask for this branch.

Very strange. Hardly anyone gets served at drive through. Always have to park up and wait even if there is none else there and you just want a burger. 5 in the morning or midnight always the same. Much quicker to drive past and go to Manton.

Absolutely terrible my food wasn’t warm and my daughter food came missing her syrup and knife and fork ( she had pancakes) . Definitely not coming here again

Just eat delivery driver brought wrong order. So sent it back. Called highgrounds to tell them he said I’ll. get the correct order sent out. 40 minutes later no food. Called them back to be told she wouldn’t pick our order up. Absolutely fumming bob get your restaurant in order. All reviews are shocking it’s a disgrace

Just visited high grounds Worksop McDonald’s after picking up my partner from work at midnight, to be greeted by disrespectful lads on the headset!!! I placed my order n he said next window when u can then so i got my money ready at the kiosk so I didn’t do it at the window and hold up any que if there was going to be 1!! Just gettin my money out(still at kiosk) n all I hear is him Shouting down the headset….BBBYYYEEEE he shouted!!! N then he said oh s**t I think my headset was still on!! He’s lucky I didn’t say something to him at the window. I won’t be visiting back here in a hurry either the food we orderd was cold and OLD! You have a discard time on food for a reason!! USE IT! I’ll be sticking to the best 1 in future atleast there u get spoke to nicely and the food is ALWAYS HOT AND FRESH!! I suggest you have strong words with your “TEAM” at high grounds store!! The food was definaltly not worth almost £12 not in a month of Sundays!!!

Order taken straight away, 12 minutes queueing waiting to pay, then told to wait in the grill bay. A total of 17 minutes waiting for 2 orders of porridge, which were both completely cold. No wonder this Maccy Ds had such poor reviews.

The worst McDonald's I have ever been to. I just came from it. I was the first to the drive-thru and my order was taken third. Another two cars came after me. They have been served first and then the person behind the microphone said to me "I will be with you in a moment. Another car came and they took the order. I was a bit lucky because my order was shorter another way I was been served forth. On top of this, they always forget something. They are the sluggishest McDonald's. I prefer to drive to Sainsbury for my order. I will never go back there even if is 2 min from my house. I was tonight, again I thought it was just a bad day but tonight filled the glass. The manager was hiding behind the wall the only person to talk to was the cleaning lady. I didn't know that she has the power to resolve customers' complaints. Staff at the till a young lad very disrespectful. When I asked him why nobody took my order his answer was " Yea, yeah and he closed the window to my face. They don't give a dam about you. I wonder if it is any manager there to fix this problem. People waiting to be served and employees laughing about customers complaining about the service.

Order completely wrong. Asked for no cheese on a burger, it had the sticker on the top with no cheese, burger had double the cheese! Ordered a bacon stacker burger, burger come with yip no bacon! Chips were colder then when Hans Solo was frozen in Star Wars.

Popped through to pickup a quick milkshake. Milkshakes was overfill and dripping all down the sides and spilled all over the inside of our car. Staff look soulless and brain dead.

Newly refurbished but only 2 double ordering/pay machines, It is so slow and the que was at the door, seriously needs more ordering/pay machines especially as there rivals are in the same area, very poor, will not bother again with this mcdonalds

Seem to be a lot of bad reviews here. I can only say it was fine when I visited, though they claimed to be short of staff that day and apologised for slow service (which was not slow at all).

We visited and queued through the drive-through for 15 minutes only to be told there were no veggie burgers or veggie dippers available for my veggie boyfriend due to their reduced menu. It is not 'inclusive' in this modern society to stop selling vegetarian options....

I live in an upper class family. We normally spit on the likes of chavs who eat McDonald's and normally I only eat at restaurants with 5 Michelin Stars or less. However, my fiancé and I were held at gunpoint and I was forced to hand my coin purse and pocket watch over to the bandit. He stole £10,000 (a measly amount, I know but I was still a little ticked off, pardon my language) and so, stumbling and scared, we went to the nearest place to shelter us from the rain. That place was this fine establishment. The workers generously welcomed us in and fed us the most exquisite meal of my entire life (and I have Gordon Ramsay as my personal chef). There was something special about the way it was presented, a certain charm, if you will, wrapped in greaseproof paper. The grease was orgasmic.

I’m so sorry but this is vile, me and my friends went in for a mcdonald’s big mac today and what we found was unforgettable! Near to the end of the burger my friend found an actual moving maggot inside the big mac! Safe to say we will not be returning for a long time, if ever again! if i could rate this a 0 i would’ve.

Our first visit to our local McD after Lockdown was disappointing. The food was lukewarm. The flavour, look and taste were just fine but a McD has to be HOT.

Waited nearly 15 minutes for my order, milkshake was made straight away and put on shelf. When food eventually arrived I asked for a cold milkshake rather than the one that had got warm sat on the shelf. They begrudgingly changed it. I was in a hurry, hence stopping for ‘fast food’, so I left without checking the meal, more fool me! Burger was wrong one and stone cold, no dips to go with dippers. Fries were hot, surprisingly! Didn’t have time, and couldn’t be bothered, to go back. You don’t expect to have to use tripadvisor for a MacDonalds; judging by all the reviews for this one, I wish I had checked! I will never be stopping there again.

The Worksop restaurant had no one in it at all tonight, yet was referred to grill bay AGAIN, this has been the case for the last 6+ visits, even when theres no one or hardly anyone in here, missed cheese burger off the order this time, sorted it with no fuss in shop, but not the point, all the food was far too cold to eat, had to microwave it when we got home with it, asked for a bagle the other day and got a muffin, paid for 20o dips many times, and many times they are missing, not expensive, but again, not the point, can't think of the last time we went here, and actually got our order exactly as we ordered and paid for it, without having to tell staff it's all wrong or somethings are missing. The staff have always sorted the problems in a friendly manner, but why are there errors EVERY time we come here? Please sort this out.

We visited on New Years Day at 1am in the morning after spending 12 hours in Worksop hospital and receiving the worst news possible.I cannot praise the manager Andrew Taylor and Ellen the lovely lady who served us highly enough for showing us such compassion and care at such a difficult time in the early hours of the morning when we were in total shock but needed to eat also.Your kindness meant more than you could ever realise and we would like to thank you both so much.

My friend and i went for a catch-up and we stayed over the parking limit. As we were unaware of a limit we got a parking ticket of £50 each. However the frustrating part is the branch on principle will do anything about it. Beware of parking limits.

Today i visited , it was really busy but they got my order completely wrong , and when i complained , they told me i got what i ordered ( cheeky staff ) completely wrong drinks and missing fries !

Last three visits to this mcDonalds has resulted in the same experience .lukewarm limp fries and cheeseburger .torub it in,was charged for large fries but given medium. Even though they were very busy how can they serve cold food. Won,t bother any more,

The service here is absolutely awful. It seems to be always very busy but the wait for "fast food" is ridiculous. Went through the drive through and was directed to car park as there was a couple of minute wait. I've been waiting 25 minutes so far. Chased two members of staff. Both unhelpful and one quite rude.

Had to repeat the order three times for someone who clearly wasn't listening, food took an age to arrive, meaning food was tepid at best and tea so strong it was undrinkable.

Been here numerous times as we live in Worksop, always have to check order as there’s always something missing or the order is wrong. Some staff members are quite happy to correct it but some others are quite rude as if it’s your fault that there’s items missing. When you ask to speak to the manager apparently he is never there!! Service is always slow too.

Visited on 22nd October 2019 with colleagues for a breakfast meeting. Four breakfasts, umpteen coffees and the place was quiet. Ten days later received a parking fine from UKPC for £90 reduced to £50 for overstaying by 12 minutes. A little surprised I called the restaurant to confirm that I had been a customer and ask was the fine correct? Was told that there was nothing they could do as they don't run the car park and "it's not the worst thing that can happen to you".Hmmm. That's great customer service. Would advise all to boycott the branch. You never know when a parking fine will cause you to not love it.

Made the mistake of meeting here for some food, kids eat slow and we were chatting.

Well! let's face it, it's a Mc Donalds. They are just about all the same wherever you are in the country. The staff at Highgrounds Worksop are always friendly and welcoming and the place is usually clean throughout.

The food is good standard McDonalds. But the restaurant is always spotlessly clean and the staff are always very friendly.

Call in on our way home from Sheffield for breakfast, we both had a breakfast wrap with a extra has brown with 1 tea and 1 orange juice,everything was cooked nicely but I don't think it will ever replace a proper breakfast and the service will never be as good, but food wise was ok.

Can not understand why the food standard at Worksop hasn’t improved, we come every now and then for a treat but whenever it’s the Worksop one it is absolutely dreadful! Chips - cold and soggy, McFlurry- a cup of milk with chocolate pieces in it, the burger- I’ve put my hand in warmer fridges. The standards seem to slip at night and on weekends, really really needs some actions putting in place to improve the standards of food!

Picked up a breakfast, checked it at the drive through and everything was there. Got home and the double sausage and egg McMuffin only had one sausage patty. It is only minor issue but every time I go to this branch the order is always incorrect.

Visited this place many times however be WARNED if you stay to long because you are buying their Products and Chatting you will get a 100.00 parking fine for giving them your custom

McDonalds are all similar, but this one is the cleanest I've ever visited. The staff are always cleaning up and are extremely friendly.

Went for breakfast. Which was fresh. But asked to collect the coffee when I leave so it's hot for the 3 hour drive a head. 3 staff said it was fine. Then one women went poured my coffee and said to another member of staff. Tough he can have it. Poured the drink and walked off. This resulted in a stone cold coffee for the journey ahead. Shame on this member of staff that let the whole team down. (Pink hair)

Visited McDonald’s with my friends after work at around 12:30 which has been a regular thing for the past 2-3 months. Hanging out and eating spending over £10:00 a time there thinking nothing of it. Less then a well later I receive a £50:00 fine through the post for overstaying in the car park by 1 minute. My question is why,why are loyal customers especially who work late hours and who spend quite a lot of money there be punished,when all they want to do is relax,eat food and socialise with their friends causing no trouble at all. I have lost trust and feel utterly betrayed by these actions.

Went in with my friends after work at 12am to hang out, only one other customer in there and few came in and left but the car park was empty pretty much all the time. We left at 2:15am. Ten days later I get parking ticket.

I use a couple of other Mc donalds where I live and the service has just got slower and slower, 15 minutes quite common from joining the drivethrough queue.

Came here after work spontaneously as I don't go to Mcdonald's often. I went through the drive-thru despite it being packed. I ordered a 3 Piece Chicken Select meal with a Fanta and a side of Mozzarella Dippers.

We occasionally go to other McDonalds, but none of them compare with this one. The staff are super friendly and it’s always spotless. There are people continually going round cleaning up and checking if there’s anything you need. It’s just brilliant

Drove up from Reigate this morning arriving at McD's for just gone 8 o'clock.

Have used McDonald’s in Hong Kong and Australia as well as Europe and can honestly say this was the cleanest one I have ever been in. A nice touch is you are given a number and your food is then brought to your table. The 2 ladies on clearing duty do an amazing good. We love there thick milk shakes.

I gather from this and recent trips that McDonald's is no longer fast food, nor is it convenient. One person serving, a dozen or more flapping arround and a cue nearly back to the door stood waiting for thier order. The place needs to be twice the size to hold the amount of people stood waiting because sometime you can't tell where people are waiting to be served still and where the ones who have start and end. Then you have the people coming in because they got the wrong order from the drive through most of the time.

Usual McDonalds fare, but well served by very friendly staff. The best McDonalds I've ever visited. It's always spotless and staff are always cleaning and ensuring that your happy with everything.

Called at the drive through for burger and chips and happy meal, very busy but once you are in the queue there is no turning back. Probably eight cars in front so what excuse is there for serving up luke warm ,limp stodgy fries, surely it should be possible to provide fresh chips. I could understand if they where not busy, This is not the first time either

Came through the drive through today and when we got home we found that there was 2 burgers missing from our order and my little one had no chips in his happy meal!

Drove through with Iz yesterday. Quick service, efficient staff and hot tasty food. Just what you need with a hangover.

I ordered a happy meal for my niece who's 7 and is coeliac. This is what she got.. I accept the fact there is no bun and that makes it look a little sparse on the plate, but this is supposed to be a cheese burger with ketchup and as you can see, theres no cheese. This is the first time I've ordered a meal without a bun at Worksop and it will be the last. Other McDonald's give 2 burgers in place of the bun and get the order correct. This was a takeaway meal so unable to return it. Very disappointed.

Just returned home from collecting 4 meals from this McDonalds spent £35 to find that every meal ordered was incorrect total incompetence!! The order took that long to come the McFlurry's melted into what resembled skimmed milk as did the milkshakes.........appalling meal. Tried ringing to raise my concerns and they don't bother to pick up the phone.

2 items missing from order completely & the large fries cartons only partially filled. This sort of service is a regular occurrence here.

It's always spotless, the foods are always the same in this group, it's eatable but the kids love it.

It's a normal McDonald's resteraunt, but the staff keep it spotlessly clean. Every table is cleaned as soon as its vacated and it's not easy when lots of kids have been, but they manage it well

Visited recently and place really has upped its game. The place looked really clean, the order system was easy a good to use, and even delivered to table. The staff were polite and friendly and helpful, the food was enjoyed by the lads, and arrived looking ok for a change not all just slammed together loook lol.

This place just went up in my estimation.

Staff are mostly polite and the managers are always willing to offer any additional help when needed. Always clean and now more open and modern so you can see how your burger is being made. Usually fast service and good drive-thru too. I would always double check when on drive-thru at busy times tho - just in case.

Don’t usually go to McDonald’s because of the way you are treated by most of the staff.So we were passing and thought we would give this restaurant a visit.What a mistake same rubbish service.And When we got our meal home about a five minute drive away the food was lukewarm and the chicken nuggets were like they had been cooked very early in the day and left under a hot plate.The ice cream my grand daughter had did not taste very nice at all.Will not be using this restaurant ever again.

I used to go here quite often, however recently started using there online service and taking home. On the last occasion I ordered, when I got home the order was short, at that time as half way through meal didn’t fancy going all way back, so contacted website to let them know of the incident. That was a month ago and despite constantly chasing up with Bob Meadowcroft, they just can’t be bothered to contact me. Clearly don’t care about customers, not been her since and don’t intend to if this is how they treat customers.

Just a few minutes ago I list my wallet which is absolutely essential for my job as Cabin crew for Jet2. This man is an absolute credit to your team and he even found my wallet. As always nice McDs early breakfast as my daughter works here she gets the staff discount so it's a cheap and easy breakfast for us both. Always fresh and tasty, the restaurant is spotless, with friendly staff, although the young lady that served us this morning was very quiet!! Maybe new to the job? Not as bright and chatty as most of the staff are, but it's not always easy to be chatty if you do not have that type of personality. I had a lovely bacon roll, with plenty of nicely cooked bacon, hash brown, and a cuppa, not gourmet food but cheap and cheerful and you know exactly what you are going to get. I do like it because it's spotless!! Makes a massive difference. Visited the McDs restaurant in Hauhn Frankfurt airport now that was horrendous (there was no where else open) food was cold, the tables were all dirty, service was very slow. Worksop McDs always clean!

Después de mi visita al McDonalds mal en el McDonalds y Meadowhall en Tankersley pensé que probaría este McDonald. . . . Y adivina qué? Deben estar todos mal. . . Las patatas fritas son siempre empapadas y la hamburguesa grasienta. . . El pollo me pareció ser de mala calidad. . . . busque la duración de su estancia tienen permitido comer o mientras espera para ser atendido cuando están ocupados en las vacaciones escolares. . . . se emitirá una £100 parking si tardan mucho para comer en cualquier McDonalds.

The triumph of hope over experience.I was peckish today and as I was coming out of Sainsbury's I gave this outlet a another go.... what a difference.The service was good and cheerful, the cheeseburger lovely and the fries were top notch. What a difference to my last visit.Whatever the manager has done here can only be applauded.Keep it up.

Large meals always lack large fries its usually a small portion in a large packet, double check with staff that they have included sauces and get home to find they have forgot them like usual

I had a large 5 piece chicken selects meal. It was it was pretty standard. The fries were warm not hot and it didn't take long to go cold. I had a lot of black fries which did put me off. But the chicken was nice and I enjoyed that a lot. I also had a nice Mcflurry. It was busy but not manic. I a good place to go for something quick.
