Stopped here for quick burger. We all know what the food is here and sometimes a junky lunch is what you want. Chips were cold and probably had been that way for sometime. We all had the double Big Macs with bacon meals. No bacon in any of them and they had probably been sitting for some time getting soggy and slimy. Lettuce was almost drinkable! Surprising as they were really busy so you would think the food would be fresh. Big fat no today for Maccy’s! Coffee was good, coke was weak and you forgot the sauces and serviettes. Sort yourselves out!

Hands down worst Macdonald's in country. Make you wait in bay regardless of whether you're the only car in the drive thru or not. Foods usually cold. They'll always forget your melon bag and don't expect to get your sauces with your chicken selects. Only plus side is it's entertaining seeing the staff all get confused with the orders and stop work for a spontaneous team meeting. Check bags before driving off

I’m struggling to say anything positive about this McDs. It’s the worst restaurant we’ve ever been too. From start to finish, service is painfully slow. It’s not unusual to be given the wrong or missing food. Cheeseburger with no patty. Staff look at you blankly when you inform them something is wrong. No apology. When I returned a Coke and explained the order stated Diet Coke. By the look on the lady’s face, she didn’t believe me. There appears to be plenty of staff. On a few occasions, I spoke briefly to a lady who cleans the tables, etc. Her presentation was amazing. My feeling is that she should be promoted and run the show.

After ordering though the McDonalds app, we had a notification that after a hour the food had been delivered, we then went to the McDonald's and the site was conned off, we asked to see the manager who explained they were closed and had been due to a technical issue, Uber eats had so say delivered the food even though the McDonalds was closed, after multiple calls to Uber and email's to McDonald's, neither of them will take the responsibility and refund the order, that could not have been delivered.

Tried to use the app again. No point sat in carpark waiting for 20 minutes. Every time. What's the point in a drive through for food, if you just use it as a order point. No food ever ready. Rude staff. Disgusting .

I arrived at the restaurant at 6-16 am I ordered on the app to eat in on table 3. The order was delivered to my table within 5 minutes. The breakfast wrap was probably the freshest I have experienced. The Bacon and Cheese flatbread was fresh and hot and the coffee was lovely! Tom the duty manager served me throughout and it was excellent service!! I give it 9/10 today! The only reason it wasn't 10 was because I ordered to sit at a table and he brought it to me in a bag and I had to ask for a tray ! Other than that the food quality and the service was amazing! Totally recommend the place for breakfast

Disgusting! Chicken McCrispy ordered. Mayo had quite obviously gone off and tasted like vomit. Flagged a member of staff, they said manager would come and see me. No one appeared! My son and I left feeling quite unwell. Healthy meals at home from now on!

Just don't bother, food is often cold by the time it gets to you with poor service from the seemingly incompetent staff. On several occasions I've had to wait more than 45min from ordering until getting my food and in more than one instance the order wasn't even correct! Drive the few extra minutes to Melksham's branch for decent service.

Waited over half hour for food. Then the chips were ice cold. Massive queue s d no food coming out. Terrible service.

Really poor service at this McDonalds, last 2 visits we queued for ages at the drive through, before being directed to the car park where we waited ages for our food. There seems to be plenty of staff, but organisation is perhaps lacking? It’s certainly not FAST food!! The service always used to be good, won’t be visiting again anytime soon.

Not sure I trust the hygiene, as every time I've been in the floor is slippery with a thick layer of grease, so unsure if they ever clean that grease off or if it gets greasy again quickly. I don't think it would comply with health and safety.

For the first time, I’ve had to request a refund after waiting an hour and 15 minutes for my order this evening. The entire restaurant was complaining, sending back cold food, including burgers…without the burger inside! They should’ve stopped orders, as everyone was after the same thing - a refund.

The restaurant was filthy and the food took almost 50 minutes to arrive. When we did get the food, half the order was missing and all of it was cold.

Absolutely disgusted with this store all the staff are rude and when we finally got our food it was stoned cold the chips were raw and the whole order was completely wrong when they brought food it looked like it had been dragged out a bin. When we rang to make a complaint they didnt even care all they said was that they were short staff so they may as well close early. We had no apologies about the food or refund

We had McDonald’s delivery. Don’t expect it to be perfect but half our order was missing. One child was left without their happy meal and my friend was also left without her burger. Food that did arrive was cold and soggy. Avoid.

Terrible service! Came in today half hour after it opened, seemed very understaffed! Drive thru was shut so I had to come in store, I waited 15 minutes for one coffee and all I could see was the so called manager on their phone and hardly doing any work at all when there was clearly orders to take out, not a great start to the morning on my way to work

Overstaffed by the 'no-hoper' school leavers with less than zero interest or any customer facing skills whatsoever. Gormless individuals with no concept of customer service or what they are lacking. They got the order wrong at the drive through, so i went into the store to get it rectified..stood there for what felt like an eternity before getting served. I returned a second time on the same visit to return a big mac due to lack of cheese...yeah, i know, no massive deal! but their response was to place a limp looking slice onto the food and hand it back...when i said that frankly this looked 'a bit crappy' they agreed, then didn't seem to know what to do next! I politely suggested a replacement and they then agreed and went back to the 'kitchen' to get a replacement. they returned a while later with the same burger and another slice of cheese on top, this time slightly melted, although the rest of the burger was now cold by this time. They then failed to understand where they'd failed. P*** poor training and leadership. Too many people stood around doing sod all and basically looking like the feckless morons they are......but no doubt i'll get criticised for stating this fact, in case I hurt someone's feelings!

What a wonderful lad! Perfect service and so cheerful and polite .. a pleasure to be served by him! Order was exactly right. Can’t praise him enough. Wish all staff were like him.

Used the app, tills crashed and was then charged twice for food I didn't receive. New order made and was wrong! Food was cold and dripping in grease! Avoid at all costs! Now expected to return to get a refund! Disgusting service! If I could...

Absolutely discussing the service is so bad the lady manager couldn't care less that the foodata was cold and 3 tables complained about cold food and nothing was done about it. The place is shocking don't use it . They need to short the staff...

Went through the drive through waiting for 10 minutes in the Que just to be told the tills went down and we have to come into store making me late for work

Very good for when you are in a speedy mood. If you are feeling down and need something to eat in the go this is again the best place to have a cheeky meal

This place is so hit and miss that it’s becoming a joke. Today’s visit consisted of undercooked chips and a cold burger. The chips were what I would call defrosted soggy and hard to chew. Who is doing the quality control.

Stopped here for a break from the motorway. Service was good and thwas quiet and food was to a good standard. Cleaning certainly lacks in this restaurant all the tables were sticky ands the toilets were not very clean either.

they need to bring back plastic straws. we need plastic instead of cardboard. they go soggy within seconds and they disinntergrate. we end up eating the straws because they end up going soggy in the drinks.

yummy yummy, food was great staff were happy and me liked it, best of all the milk machine worked, i am defiantly going back!

This maccies is definitely the worst around. The coke always tastes awful, flat and tasteless and the food is repeatedly awful. Just a poor example of a McDonalds, much worth travelling down the road to melksham for edible food

Visited with Grandchildren for lunch. Service good, food good. Fairly busy. Friendly and helpful staff.

Service from staff was the best I’ve received in any Mcdonalds. Greeted with cheery smiles and staff more than eager to assist. Food came quickly and tasted great. Can’t wait to revisit!

People in McDonald’s get paid up to 8.00 an hour to do their job. yes it is fast food but if it means serving someone a burger half on with ketchup everywhere and squished then I prefer you take your time. People are paid to do their job properly. The food I just ordered came out like someone had pooed in a toilet. I am absolutely heart broken by the state of my food. Hire people who will do their job right. It is appalling day and night.The quality is horrific. If you can’t even do fast food you might as well go litter pick I know you don’t have ur GCSE’s but it ain’t rocket science to make burger and fries hon

Come on everyone, you surely don't expect top class al a carte food from McDonalds do you? You know what you're getting as did I. Average food which is convenient. That's all.

Family of four, drive through order, sit and wait in the bay for 10 mins, items missing from our order (standard) and the food we do get is cold and looks like it's been put together with a catapult.

If you spend too much time on the road as I do, a clean washroom, free Wi-Fi and a half decent cup of coffee are things you tend to care about. McD are always a safe bet for all three.
