Minging overflowing with rubbish, bins full to the maximum over spilling, no one seems to care the stay are over stretched

Absolutely awful. Lots of items missing from order, went back in to ask for missing items, the staff were rude and unhelpful. Body hair found in the chips which were stone cold anyway. Quite frankly a fly on dog pooh would have been more appetising and friendly.

Cold food, long wait time, horribly made burger , god awful . I've come here before and had a similar experience , thought I'd give it one last shot.. never again

Can't agree with the poor reviews on here. I stop here almost weekly as its on my work route. Its also on the main exit from Devon so gets extremely busy in holiday periods. Yes it can be a bit of a wait sometimes but the staff are always working as quickly as they can and I have always found them to be more polite and pleasant than at many other branches. The food is always fresh and hot too.

This is the WORST McDonalds I've visited. Every single order I've had from this place has been wrong. The place is chaotic and the staff seem to have no idea what's going on. I've had to wait up to half an hour for the food to be ready. The younger members of the team have, in my experience, been rude and incapable of doing the simple job of fulfilling an order. Sort it out McDonalds. As a regular customer I've had enough and won't be coming back.

This has to be the worst McDonalds! It is far from fast food. Whether you eat in, drive through or choose to order on app to collect, you are left waiting and waiting. And more often than not when you get your food the order is wrong. Opening times is hit and miss. We've turned up on a few occasions now and it has been shut with no explanation what so ever. The staff always look fed up. The management really need to sort this place out.

Well fast food is a joke here. I waited over 15 minutes to get a takeaway. The staff weren't actually rude but only the cashier said thankyou. By the time my meal was provided the coffee I had ordered had gone cold. The person who passed me the food was not a happy bunny.

I don’t ever leave reviews unless they are good, however this whole experience was so awful not to. Me, my partner and my two small children (1&5) waited over an hour for our order, only then to be told the ticket was cleared and our food wasn’t even made. This is after he’d checked 30 minutes earlier with another member of staff that our order had gone through okay, where he was told that it had. Staff offered to take our order again but the place was packed with many other families in the same position. So we refused to wait any longer and got a refund. I would like to preface that the regular staff here were not at fault. They tried their best to handle the MANY complaints, angry parents and hungry children. There was one young girl left to deal with the till and a room full of people asking questions all by herself. To her credit she handled it was a smile. The fault lies with whoever is managing this branch they need firing! All the attention was put in to the drive though, while staff were left stretched thin everywhere else. And not to mention how filthy the restaurant was!! There was not one member of staff cleaning the entire hour we were there. The floor was absolutely disgusting and tables were covered in leftovers from others. All in all I will never come here again! And I hope in future the staff receive better management as the stress they must be under working in that environment must be awful.

Service was shocking, missing food items, waiting over 40 minutes, drive through customers parked up and being forgotten about. One customer returning on 3 separate occasions due to undercooked burger. Absolutely not blaming the staff - they were doing their best but management need to review their staffing levels and support them far better for the volume of customers. If I’d seen the state of the toilets before we ate I would have left there and then.

Always hit and miss here. Ordered on app for drive thru, got here and then closed yet again. Went in reordered and was kept waiting 15-20 minutes. Asked for a recipt as i wanted to give feedback and told there is not one. A lady was left waiting to order at desk for 10 minutes as staff kept walking past her until i said something. I usually order on app early sunday morning but 8 times out of 10 when i get there the restaurant is coned off and closed and i wasted my time driving there. This place really needs to be sorted out. Was good when it first open but must be one of their poorest now?

OK it's not technically motorway but you are on a trunk road... and need to stop for refreshment food and drink and other kinds. Food was warm as was the service, the mcflurries were cold and so were the chips but hey... they were edible.

Awful, went in to a manager in a white shirt with white hair eating a McFlurry infront of customers and around food, didn’t seem to care about food safety or guests as a manager in hospitality I was horrified to top it off the food was cold.

Popped in this afternoon for a quick bite with my partner and my son and had probably the worst food we've ever had from McDonald's. I've never been one to expect too much from a cheapish takeaway but I least expect it to be edible - which this definitely was not. We ordered a McCrispy meal with chips and a wrap with chips to takeaway and upon opening it were met with a stone cold disgusting mess. The chips were soggy and lifeless and both the burger and the wrap looked as though they'd been dropped from a great height after being assembled. To make things even worse the chicken in both was rock hard and dry and didn't even have a hint of warmth to it. My partner somehow managed to force the wrap down as he was starving and afterwards complained of a bad stomach. We took the rest back and fortunately managed to get a refund from the clueless staff but will never be returning to this particular branch. I like the occasional McDonald's but this experience has left a bad taste in my mouth in more ways than one and it will be a while before we visit the chain again at all.

came to get some food through the drive thru, greeted by a lovely young man called Charles at 11.33am. Throughout the service he was very polite and put a smile on our faces compared to the normal grumpy people we are greeted with. He is a great credit to your restaurant top of haldon hill. appreciation goes to him!
