Typical McDonald's but the food is good and the service was excellent

Great service, facilities were of excellent standards and staff were very friendly and welcoming

Service is incredibly slow, staff don't seem to care there is a big drive through que and customers waiting inside, instead playing around. They seemed to neglect the inside orders for the drive through, which was still slow service. At one point there was not a single soul at the desk inside or in view. The staff member cleaning saw we was waiting 15mins for a drink and went to fetch them for us. When someone finally came it was to get food for a staff member skipping the people sat waiting for their orders

Just a completely souless experience. McDonald's has never been about fine dining, but it was somewhere fun to go and you knew what you were getting food wise. The food is not as tasty as it was back in the day and the atmosphere is clinical boring. And the price does not reflect what it's supposed to be.

Dreadful place. They have never got a delivery order correct in 8 attempts. The drive through cant get an order correct either. The (wrong) food also tastes like cardboard. Go to a different Maccies.

Called in the drive through this morning at about 10.30 with my daughter and ordered an Egg and Cheese Mcmuffin breakfast meal and an extra hash brown. After waiting several minutes to pay we were handed her breakfast. After driving off and her opening her sandwich, she found that there was no Egg or Cheese inside and just had the breadcake ?? Good job she wanted the extra hash brown !! Unbelievable !!

New drive through refurbishment works a treat!

How wrong can a mcdonalds delivery go wrong and with no way to complain. I'm sure if you employed chimps, you would get a better service. For a delivery to be checked sealed and still be missing essential parts of the meal, you must think we are mugs with cash to waste.

Every single time I order a delivery from here the order is always missing something. At first I didn’t complain but it’s every single time now. Really annoyed

This post is partly about uber eats Ordered a family meal deal through the app for delivery, uber driver left it on the doorstep without knocking and it sat there 20 minutes going cold until we realised. McDonald's said phone uber eats, uber eats refused to do anything. Need to get a better delivery service, won't waste my money on delivery again

Here today and I’m at McDonald’s Handsworth. This is my first visit after the recent restaurant refurbishment. Seating has been significant reduced inside and the decor looks much more upmarket than before. It’s a nice looking place. My visit was ruined by a group of young lads who proceeded to sit in a corner, behind a closed off section of the restaurant, and shout a number of crude and rude things. I am not sure what the staff process is here, but several staff members saw and heard this display and proceeded to do nothing or challenge this behaviour. I know the venue has had issues with antisocial behaviour in the past, however if they are not challenging or tackling it then I cannot see how it is to improve? This really ruined the experience for me and other guests dining, and a number of people left because of this. Food was as expected of McDonald’s quality and did the job. The new menu is worth a try.

I ordered food at the order point got to were you pay is this your order I said no ok what's your order so again repeat my order oh one second let me get a manager something wrong 5 min later another guy comes have you paid I said no not yet a manager supposed to be coming again I repeat my order and pay I then get to the collection point can you wait in bay 1 your orders at back of the que I said not a chance after waiting all this time I'll have a refund a manager then come and said it's ok I can wait there the food come instantly. Got home half the food was hot and the other half freezing absolute joke gone down hill this place supposed to be fast food

One of the worse McDonald's in Sheffield never got a full menu something is always not available. Mcflurrys been unavailable for about 2 weeks. *update 20/07/2024 even after the place was fully refurbished still they never have a full menu! Never any mcflurrys or milkshakes! Avoid if you don't want any disappointed children!.

Ordered off app. Delivery was wrong. Missed a whole burger off order and no straws with meal. Tried to ring but no answer. Rang customer services who say to ring Uber eats. Rang them and was told can't do anything but only do refund off burger. Problem lies with McDonald's who did order wrong.

ordered via the mcdonald’s app for click and collect, app stated that we had to go indoors to pick order up as delivering to car was “unavailable”, app stated 5 minutes before we went in, that the order was ready to be picked up. went inside, order wasn’t ready yet and wasn’t until another 10 minutes nearly. got home went to eat, and the portion sizes almost threw me off my seat (we ordered LARGE), and as usual, no straws were included. upsetting to see how far mcdonald’s have declined.

I absolutely love this place. The main reason is the wonderful older lady who cleans the facility. She approaches her work with such passion and dedication, even at her advanced age. She treats everyone she encounters with the utmost kindness and warmth, always greeting people with a bright, genuine smile. Please pass along my sincere appreciation to her. Unfortunately, I don't recall her name, but I'm sure you know exactly who I'm referring to. She is a true gem and an asset to this establishment.

Always get order wrong. Very slow at the drive through, actually waiting in que now for 20 mins. Let's see if my order is right this time!

Called in after refurbishment. Emphasis is clearly online orders. Waited a long time for drinks only. Then paper straws collapsed halfway through drinks. Cheap straws couldn't finish drink as it was strawberry milkshake. Never going again.

Ordered mcdelivery 3 times in the last month and every time they have missed an order off. It’s a joke.

Since refit it takes ages to get served

The new drive through is over took too long to get even near . So decided to eat in instead. Placed order on screen 20 mins later it still wasn't being prepared even tough families with larger orders were done before ours. Hardly any staff, they look like they can't even be bothered. No consistency with service. When you approach the counter to ask where your food is, they just scurry in the back and say there. Supposed to be a fast food franchise?? Standards have really slipped. I had to ask for the seats to be cleaned as some kid had smeared food all over it. Which the lady did clean straight away when asked.

Easy to use. Quick service. Warm food. Refurbished now.

We got the fries and drinks as well as the wrap but no burgers!!! Don't order from there because me and my bf paid for a medium and large meal and they don't bother putting the burgers in the order, it's even more disappointing that the food came cold too👎

Missing food from delivery and refused to take any kind of responsibility

I went through the drive thru. I ordered a plain burger with lettuce. When I got home I had a burger bun with lettuce ! I tried ringing but no one was answering the phone.

Turner Park Sheffield branch are useless, only a handful of items in the order and once again, items missing. Phoned up, they direct you to Uber eats, Uber eats couldn’t refund as I used my points for the missing item. Branch had the cheek to ask me if I could come into branch to collect the missing item ! I’m sure that defeats the object of having a McDelivery! So whether u paid for the item or not, I’ve still placed an order and not received the item. Won’t be going here again, total incompetence. Thankgod KFC can pack 4 items and not have anything missing.

Following the recent refurb. Food is still good; hot and fresh as expected but the new refurb design being rolled out across the UK is so drab and impersonal. Can’t see any staff or the kitchen so it feels so impersonal. Food is served through a small doorway like a prison and everything is grey. It’s a big building but the seating area is so small. Only one till and 4 touchscreens to order from so even during not so busy times, a queue forms to order food.

Brought only drinks and no food and didn't answer the phone when trying to ring to sort it out

There were two lids on our drink and they forgot all our dips that was paid for. Food was still warm when it was delivered though so that’s a plus.

Nobody here. Waited 20 minutes for food. Better off just going to the McDonald’s near the stadium or Leisure World

Had to edit. The place is worse than when I originally 1 starred 4 years ago. Sadly you can't give 0 stars. The place is always surrounded by kids that climb on the roofs abuse and attack other kids. Ordering is pointless as they never get it right so if you order, check before you leave so you can go in and have somebody be rude. You can complain via the website and code on receipt, a lovely lady gave me a money off voucher, I visited the store to use it and surprise surprise, they got the order wrong again. Absolutely useless, avoid at all costs!

Good parking, quick service, great food.

No urgency shown by the staff at all. Place was really quiet when ordered and still took 15 minutes for 2 meals and some chicken nuggets. They were too busy chatting amongst themselves or to the delivery drivers. No apology offered. Forget about this place if you want a milkshake. The machine is permanently switched off or broken. It serves a purpose if you need food and can’t be bothered to cook, but don’t expect it to save you any time.

Paid £2.98 for 2 cups of hot water. No flavour in the hot chocolate

Basic food, only get the grandkids a happy meal once in a blue moon.

Paid at the drive thru, made to wait. Not a problem at least it will be fresh. What I paid for and what I got are two different things. You missed an entire meal out of the order, but happy to charge for it.

Fed up of ordering from here for items to be missed off my order when it arrives. It's not difficult to read a ticket and put those exact items in a bag is it? Or maybe it is. I guess there's a reason why you're working at McDonald's after all.

Not packed clean and off a good standard

This evening I visiting this branch of the popular McDonald’s brand. I put my order through as normal on one of the public order screens. I then made my way towards the counter where I could see my order number and that this was being prepared. Moments later my order number vanished from the screen along with all other orders. I waited and waited but my order never appeared. One of the staff members asked me what I was waiting for and then checked with his colleagues. This staff member then asked me for my receipt as they said there was no such order. Once I produced my receipt my order was prepared. In total I was left waiting nearly 20 minutes for my order. It appeared that the main priority at this branch is to fill the Deliveroo/Just East orders and no time given for customers onsite. Unfortunately I am not happy with the service and I will not be visiting this branch again.

Waited 15 minutes for food, a further 5 minutes for drinks. Staff short and non apologetic. Not very friendly. Parts of food order missing. Some food was only just warm. Online delivery orders clearly take priority over customers who sit in to eat.

Ordered the kids chicken nugget happy meal and 6 nuggets ! Paid at 1st window then got to 2nd and asked for BBQ sauce, was then informed by a rude moody looking team member that it was 10 pence each sauce, I said ok can I pay on card ! Nope cash only or rejoin the queue and pay 30p for them, so I rummaged around and found £1 , I’ll pay for 3 then!! 60pence change given so I informed her that it should be 70 pence change !! after a long deliberation and a quick maths lesson " oh yeah" sorry got no more change in the coffee cup she had thrown my £1 into ? Then she walked off looking to get a 10p out of a till but couldn't so i was offered another sauce ! Nope ill wait here for my 10p please ! Lesson learned you're petty enough to charge me 10p for a sauce I will sit here all night ! Absolute shocking customer service

Ordered on just eat . Took 50 mins to come food was freezing cold . Ordered Big Mac no lettuce extra dil pickle extra Big Mac sauce. Came plain and freezing cold , double quarter pounder meal ordered was cold and was a single. fries was missing from that meal the ones that came were half empty for a late meal and cold . Kids meal came with the drink half full and flat .contacted store and was asked to bring it back and tried to blame just eat who only delivered it in sealed bags so not there fault £35 down drain

First Macdonalds I’ve been to where they charge you 10p for a sauce but you can’t pay on card and the money just goes in a coffee cup , if they haven’t got the correct change they just try to give you more sauce to make up the difference then give you attitude when you say no thanks I’ll Wait for my 10p ! If they are petty enough to charge me 10p I’ll sit here all night waiting

Ordered food from the Handsworth Sheffield. They sent the wrong order..I rang them but would not replace unless i went and pick up in which i could not.Then gave me a number to ring . The customer service is shocking , will never use them again.

Not like it used to be back in the day. No complaints about the food. Drive thru get fast food. Dilivery are a priority. But you go inside and order get ready for a wait. Why don't they have someone just sorting the orders for the inside like thay did not many years ago

Ordered delivery. They forgot to give us the pancakes we ordered. Uber eats happy to refund the pancakes but now my child has no food and another delivery will cost me £3.99. Service is disgusting. This store repeatedly misses out items for delivery. I was also missing a drink last time I ordered but because its so much faff I didnt bother reordering. Terrible service. Staff obviously need retraining.

Double sausage and egg McMuffin nice as a meal. Usual McDonald’s, young staff to save paying more than normal, sometimes get simple orders wrong, check your order before leaving, can be waiting a while to be served ( drive through or calling in ) seem to prioritise on takeaway staff

Every time you order delivery things are missing. Either dips, drinks or whole meals. If you order through McDonald's app it's a pain to get refund for meal if it missing 😡

I work shift patterns and on my night shift I like a mcdonald's! Only this place is constantly closed for "updates to the system or "cleaning" but yet no other restaurant does this in the last 3 months its been closed 6 times if you need to close to do an update don't!!! UPDATE!!! 24 HOURS AFTER I MADE THIS REVIEW IT WAS CLOSED AGAIN!

The coffee is 20p more expensive than thebad other McDonald's

Bought a meal and the fries and burger didn't come with monopoly stickers on which I only realised after arriving home. Double checked and the promotional website clearly stated the items I purchased should have come with the stickers. Complained about this to McDonald's customer service and they told me there's nothing they could do about it. Unacceptable - I will just go to KFC next time I want junk food.

Ordered a caramel frappe. Milk was out of date and had to throw it in the bin. Poor service.

Shocking service . Only went in for coffee . Orded 2 regularly latte for table service, waited 16 minutes then had to go to counter to ask for our drinks to then be given the ones that had been on the stand for the whole of time we waited( sat at table 11 so I could see the drink stand ) Asked for fresh and got them but staff never apologised . Staff are nice at the front but the cooks have no pride in there food prep at all First might mcmuffin cane out the bun was tiny and half the egg was missing Went to complain and front staff asked the cook to re make another to which she declined but made her do it anyway The next one came out and it had that much brown sauce on it the bread went soggy and all the fillings came out allover me They obviously dont care at all about putting there name to that rubbish

This McDonald’s is offers crap customer service the male manager was terrible at sorting out the problem with my food order. I’ve ordered from here twice and both times the most ‘important’ item was missing from the order. Don’t get excited about ordering anything from this McDonald’s as it probably won’t turn up anyway. Left hungry. Thirsty. And feeling crap. Shouldn’t be this hard to get a meal delivered and hope for a bit of customer service. I’m guessing some sort of machine was broken?? Or just a terrible excuse for crap customer service. McDonald’s down the road at Darnall Coleford is amazing your standard McDonald’s customer service 10 - 10 food is always fresh. Avoid the handsworth one at all costs!! Sign should read: you may be left with feelings of despair :S

It seems that whoever is in charge of this outlet is following the example of crisp and chocolate manufacturers who Instead of putting the price up a bit, to cover costs, reduce the size of the chocolate bar or crisp packet. Twice now the coffee has been little more than hot, milky, water. If you are struggling out the price up a bit, don’t weaken the product. People will moan about the price going up but if you serve rubbish, they’ll go elsewhere. Can’t fault the staff though; pleasant and hardworking.

Just a sweet sweet maccies, with the generic menu. Great for mad nugs! Top tip? Pour a McDonald’s double espresso in your McDonald’s coffee to make it taste of coffee!

The franchisee must be really struggling during these difficult times when every other UK branch of McDonald's doesn't charge for dips but they still insist on doing so. In eventuality a nice staff member gave me the dips for free but it was the principle. Also the breakfast pancakes came without butter and one staff member claimed that it was because McDonald's has discontinued butter in all branches which is clearly not true. Some honestly would have been appreciated.

For some reason the car park entrance is off the drive thru so even if you’re not using the drive thru you still have to join the queue. Took ages for one of our items to be made which meant the first item was cold when our order was ready.
