The staff who are working there are so rude.. they spend more time in drive thru then people who order they food inside

Not a bad place to call in for a quick bite. Restaurant was clean and tidy and the service was quick.

I have not waten in McDonald's since about 1985, and would eat grass before eating KFC, Burger King or McDonald's.

Constantly forget parts of your order or give you random menu items instead of what you actually order. Always check your bag before leaving to make sure you’ve got everything you asked for!

Worst McDonalds I’ve had, a delivery that was missing more than half of the items and said that there’s nothing they could do?! What about sending what you should’ve done in the first place. Just referred me to website, this unfortunately doesn’t feed a 3 & 5 year old. Shocking, didn’t deserve 1 star!!!!!

Bad only bought a small order looked like it had been assembled by monkeys..no sorry monkeys could do a better job.

Our orders are almost always wrong or stone cold or have something missing, whether that be ordering via drive thru or delivery. I get that mistakes happen, but it’s unbelievable how often we have to report an issue or go back to the restaurant to say that an order is incorrect. Examples include; a completely wrong order (ordered a Big Mac, got a spicy veggie wrap), missing sauces after asking twice in the drive thru, getting a double Big Mac instead of a double cheeseburger?! Management needs to acknowledge the issues and see if it’s because of understaffing, etc as I’ve never experienced the volumes of issues in any other establishment than I have here. Unfortunately it’s my local maccies and I have no self control

Really enjoyed our time with the kids. It has a different vibe than other McDs.

Drive through for breakfast. Told to park up. Took 20 minutes for food to brought out. Not great.

This place is absolutely infested with killer crows flying around , I don't know why there is so many waiting to take your eyeballs out ...we call it crow central

45 minute wait, mainly due to vast numbers of delivery drivers collecting orders.

Went for very late lunch @ 16:00 and had to wait almost 10mins for the food, but it was worth the wait and all very fresh.

Honestly had enough of this McDonald’s. Consistently missing food from your orders or not paying any attention to the special requests such as no pickles. This has happened on 3 different occasions now. My partner also went into store to try and resolve the issue and was left waiting for 15 minutes while staff just walked straight past. I also went to place an order today as I realised I had a bunch of points and free food that needed claiming from the ‘suprise fries’ game they’ve had on. Order was basically free I just had to pay delivery and they cancelled my order. Okay not a problem I’ll just order another time. How wrong because I’ve now had all my free food prizes and my point taken from my account. It’s just getting ridiculous tbh🤦🏻‍♀️

Never once have I been to this McDonalds and not had to wait ages … can someone please explain why !! The other McDonalds are not like this

Cold and dry food that had to be thrown away. When contacted they stated there’s nothing they can do. The picture shows the fillet fish burger that was inedible however we also purchased Big Macs and fries and drinks. Very dissatisfied

Can't get an order right. Wrong flavour drinks, items missing and can't even get the refund amount right. Every time. So not going to use Archer Road anymore. Poor management.

Absolute joke! Came for my daughters birthday and waited patiently for half an hour (as it was very busy) before following up our order that hadn't come to our table as ordered. Chased up with a member of staff who never came back to us. Manager came and tried to write our order on a napkin as she couldn't find our order. Food eventually started to come but still had to keep asking what we ordered. Another Manager then came to say he couldn't do anything or offer any kind of refund or offer anything for then inconvenience. Then told us they had run our of milkshakes so my daughters friend couldn't have one. Won't be returning to macdonalds!

Have eaten here a few times with friends. In fairness, the food always arrives in an acceptable time and is of usual quality.

Come here most Saturdays for breakfast. Food is always served at a dangerously cool temperature. No temp checks or general observations are being made. It's a ticking time bomb!

Yes, fast food. But their fries will never compete with 'real' chips. They will always be fake. Burgers are fine. Coffee was not bad.

It's McDonald's. You know what to expect. Consistent quality, good for a snack when you're out and about. Service seems to be a bit slower these days. Often wait ten minutes for food after ordering.

Absolutely useless ordered on the app and the fries were cold and unsalted and they forgot my burger and refused to refund the delivery fee and they sent me to uber eats who said that the macdonalds could refund me my order and delivery fee when that was incorrect the manager was rude on the phone and didn't seem understanding of the failure to put a burger in a bag last time I order from this macdonalds Absolutely useless

Waste of time ordering from this McDonald's they forget something every single time, chips out of happy meals etc don't follow special orders. It's really not hard to double check each order and make sure they're correct, do better.

Although very busy and we had to wait for a seat it was very well organised, we'll behaved customers and a pleasant atmosphere ( I sometimes find Mcs a it rowdy when children are off school) I was disappointed the staff could not help me with the macs app on my phone so missed out on the offers and had to pay full prices. Could do better on staff training... Staff otherwise very pleasant and quick service.

I payed for my food but the delivery driver delivered it to another house and has blocked my phone. I have tried contacting the restaurant but it says the line is busy.

Had breakfast this morning, everything was delicious, great and super fast. I just wanted to apologise to the really nice lady that bought my order out in the rain because I didn’t realise there was a drinks collection window and then a food one. Totally my bad ❤️

I attended this eatery after a bicycling session in the nearby green space. This had left me with quite the appetite as i had been hitting those pedals hard in an attempt to woo the local fauna. I arrived via car and decided the best course of action was going through the drive thru. This decision was made as i was slightly cold from forgeting my jumper and want to leave my motor vehicle. I got though the drive thru fairly quick with good customer service. Unfortunately, thats when things went drastically wrong. Upon driving off and rummaging through my bag of consumables i found that 1/4 of my meal had been forgotten. I also discovered that whoever had assembled my 2 double cheeseburgers had some serious trouble trying the put it togther straight. I was a little disappointed but it filled a hole. Disappointed but full

Missing part of my order for delivery. Due care not taken by staff to unsure my order is filled. So I not only lost part of my order but wasted my money too. Not good!

Time after time our drive through order is wrong... It seems the bigger the order the worse they are... You are doomed to disappointment once they say park around the corner and we will bring it out to you. I don't know if all branches are just as bad.. We were hoping after the recent revamp they would be better.. But sadly not.

They have changed it so you can't see what there doing in the back can still hear them talking in the back tho.

Terrible as usual, not been bk here in over a year on way home just wanted a burger and milk shake, got home in less than 4 miles on a freezing night and milk shake is like water and warm, I'm pretty sure they served it to me not frozen, that is a major health issue if u ask me, I didn't drink it, the burger was OK not the best tho not cooked that well, it's the last time I ever go to mcdonald's, it was only place open this time of night but every time I go like once a year it's worse than the last and £3.10 for none frozen milk shake and £5.99 for a single double cheese burger and 15 min wait, it's not fast or cheap

Was missing all dips and took 30 mins to get meal. Most staff we just hanging around except for the poor drive through lad who was doing all to there work.

Last 3 times I've been the order has been wrong. 1st there was 1 meal rather than the two we paid for. Few weeks later I was asked to wait a MINUTE for my cheese burger. It then took MCDONALDS 30 minutes to bring me my BURGER. Today I ordered chicken selects, no sauce was in the bag (ordered via uber ears). Can you actually train the children you have working there to read amd complete an order, correctly. It isn't hard is it. Absolute joke. Not enjoyed my last 3 visits at all. Problem is, they're all terrible. Maybe e.plpy adults who aren't brain dead tick tok addicted kids???

Think this is the only McDonald's in sheffield that I've had a takeaway from and they actually got the order right. Keep up the good work.

I went through the drive through and was served by a lovely gentleman called Tristen. His said some not very nice things of his manager however he was a right lad. Would recommend coming to see Tristen hes a gooden. Keep employing more staff like him please. One complaint. Did think the chicken nuggets were a tad dry. Overall 5/5 🍷👍

The most atmosphere that i could get is watching a 15 year old with 3 kids carry a big mac out whilst pushing a 3 seater pram. The food is alright, just depends if they get your order right. Anthony B a worker there adds more flavour to the food with his dandruff than the grease on the workbench. Thank you Anthony.

Long time since I have visited this Macdonald's a favourite of my granddaughter had many happy times in there and many happy meals!! I had philly cheese burger and chips and latte coffee I can recommend the cheese burger the chips were cold but the coffee was quite good plenty of parking and room in restaurant situated near sainsbury's archer Road I enjoyed my trip down memory lane and the food is fairly priced popped in again this morning had my favourite breakfast egg macmufin was OK bit cold but tasted OK called for lunch I had chicken wrap meal very nice chips were cold but excellent service they changed them straight away can't be fairer that that my companions had the small cheese burger very good value the staff are very nice as to be said

This week at Archer Road, Sheffield Mc D. Nearly every time we use this place, it goes wrong. I don't know who the manager is, but he probably needs an oversight from someone senior. The drive-through asks you to park in front and then leaves you there for twenty minutes even though they are not busy. Then, he tells a lame excuse about the ice cream. Also it was cold as well. Last week, it's excluding the bacon on the wrap, as my kids don't eat bacon. Obviously, they didn't leave it off. My wife, who is Muslim, was very upset. It's my local Mc D. However, it's run really badly. Which is very annoying. I collected my order through the drive through and part was missing. I called and spoke to a manager who agreed if I drove back they would give me the part of the order missing. My issue was it was a wrap that missing but they would not give me fresh fries. So because of their mistake it cost me another lot of fries. I know this is first world problems but all the same its not good.

Usual case of having to park up in a supposed drive through. It might be my age but I'm sure any flavour that Maccy's used to have has gone for good. May be time to change my habits.

Let's be honest the quality varies enormously depending on any number of variants but this was a particularly disappointing experience. My chicken big Mac was the messiest meal I've ever had with most of the filling ending up in my hand and a handful of salad sitting in the serving box. The service was as expected for an eatery run by teenagers, late at night on the 22nd of December. As in every fast food restaurant there is no atmosphere. It's always the last resort when a quick turnaround with the family is needed. Good luck

A McDonald's! Ordered my meal at the order point and once more (this is probably the 13th time) the receipt printer failed. This seems to be a universal problem McDonald's sort it out! Staff quite apologetic. This clearly makes more work for them.

This is a addition to a previous review, waiting over a hour for our food to be delivered spoke to someone who says sorry you will get your food when you get it stop being inpatient you will get it when you get it, this is not customer service the staff at this place are horrible. Took my son to the United match, decided to go to the drive thru on the way home and bring home to my daughter, Mcdonald's is a rare treat in our house. Placed order with little fuss, although the guy on the speaker may want his ears checking out with the amount of time he asked us to repeat. Order flashed on and off the screen like a lighting bolt leaving us no time to check for any mistakes. Handed my card over to pay, was met with an abundance of ketchup packets being thrown in our direction, one of which fell to the floor outside our car. The problems didn't end there. Got home, daughter opened the bag and told me my Big Mac was missing, sure enough, it was nowhere to be seen. They'd messed up my son's cheeseburger, piling on every topping under the sun after we'd requested a plain cheeseburger. Hardly rocket science. So 2/3 of us have been left hungry, at least the McNuggets made an appearance, the right quantity at that. Archer Road puts this establishment to SHAME !! Please consider how willing you are to be disappointed before visiting 🤬

Waited ages to receive our food. Then it came with out drinks, then 2 of the 3 burgers where wrong and they all looked like they had been dropped into the box's from 30ft

I do a lot of travelling so Mcd's is a frequent place I visit for a quick meal on the go. I do not expect great cuisine, but I do like the food to be edible & every single time we visit this place the fries are lukewarm at best & rarely do we finish them. We have avoided going here for over a year, but a busy & long day brought us down for a quick food fix. Today part of the order was actually cold & totally inedible so we returned it. It was replaced without a quibble & staff are usually pleasant & helpful, but I don't understand how a regularly busy location can't produce reasonably edible food. Won't be going again.

I ordered through the my McDonald’s app. Amongst my order I ordered chicken nugget meal and received veg dippers and I ordered a Big Mac which came squashed. The delivery driver called me to say that he had delivered my food to the wrong house with the wrong food and that he had to go back to the previous address to swap the order back round. When my food finally arrived 30 minutes later it was damaged, stone cold, ice cream melted and veg dippers that weren’t ordered or wanted! With no receipt on my order. This is the second time this has happened when delivering have brought the order. This is an absolute disgrace.

Every time I order from this McDonald it takes ages. More than the estimate time. When order arrives it’s always something missing. Or part of the meal, straws or napkins. Burgers are not always with the best taste, it seems not cooked properly and in the right temperature. Very unhappy with all the service.

Got a fillet fish at 3am, one of the freshest tasting ones I’ve had. Was cooked properly and oil was dried off before serving it.

Used ti make many days trips to Sheffield to help a former colleague and friend not of mine but my late husbands and visited this place for snacks mostly drinks as I am allergic to a lot of McDonald's items The tea was OK and the hot chocolate albeit too sweet sugary but I truly felt that this place was a hotbed of trouble as even rhe staff wore alert wristbands The scene of my demise here because the guy who begged me to visit him before he got totally grounded by his son and daughter was told to use a provided by his family iPhone as they his family were find my phone tracking him and they caused me a huge court case for just visiting tbe guy THAT He had begged me to so do Another very elderly man used to turn up at my house and beg to have the ride up from.the south with me and tell the staff a right pack of lies as head caused me so much trouble One night ringing the AA because the car wouldn't start to drive home I was looking down downland at the phone and police arrived and sent for breathalyser kit I have never ever drank a single mouthful of alcohol They said that the staff had ordered same Liars ot was on the SAR from.police my life ruined by lies Aided by a scruffy variety of McDonald's

While using drive-thru tonight I shared my rewards code with the guy taking my order, but when It came to paying, I was charged the full price, which I realised after coming back home and checking how much I should've paid. Rubbish service. You can't trust anyone these days.

It’s had a refurb which has made it smaller with fewer tills. I went on a busy Saturday so I felt for the staff but it was mucky. The floor was gross and there were flys flying all over!

How can you wait nearly 20 minutes during a quite period and have stone cold food and forget to put bacon on a bacon double cheeseburger? It makes no sense. Try harder please

The refurbishment has made this place worse. Food constantly wrong. They managed to give me an untoasted wrap and refused to replace. It was like eating a cardboard box.

We used the drive thru to get food for a family of 4. We took the food home to eat, and upon opening the bag, we discovered my McChicken sandwich was missing from the order. Everything else was there though.

Amazing service, we put in a big order for 14 people and it was all given at the same time nice and hot, a very helpful member of staff even helped us carry it to the car! Very impressed with the service. Fries could have done with some more time tho but still hot

Usual McDonald's! Busy and frantic. The refurbishment seems to have been really poorly thought out now. Favours couriers. People waiting now have nowhere to stand. Seems much smaller

40 mins wait for a coffee .... its run like a pantomime AVOID AT ALL COST .... just been back like a mug and the new drive through doesn't work.... supposed to be fast food god help them if 2 customers want serving at the same time
