McDonald's in Newport

Dirty place and awful service. Had issues with an order and asked to speak to a manager to be met with someone with an attitude problem. Tried to explain my issues and frustration to be told I was the rude. Gave up and left with no order. Makes no difference to them but I won’t be returning. I can see from other reviews I’m not the only one to have had issues with service at this restaurant which really says it all really. A refresh on customer service training is needed!

Stopped off at the drive thru on my way home. When I started eating my burger I noticed this long hair strand coming out of my burger. I tried to contact the store but they never replied.

Working over the road and this place has had no coffee for over a week now keep asking when it will be back to normal and the staff reply is there waiting for the machine to be fixed. I would have thought somebody up in higher management would have sorted it by now , they must be loosing a fortune !!

3rd visit here and it just gets worst, the worst McDonald’s I have ever been to. No staff speak English very well which makes it all very hard! Super slow orders, stuff not available, wrong items coming out. Just overall very very poor!

What is it that they all want to clean out their milkshake and McFlurry machines before 9pm? Either you’re open or not. So consistently poor these days

If I could give 0 I would have. I ordered 3 burgers drove home and found that I only had two. I was too tired to go back. How hard is it to put 3 burgers in a bag? Clearly too hard. Should I have anticipated the incompetence of the personnel as this particular restaurant? Maybe. I won’t be going back in a hurry- a bit like they weren’t in a hurry to serve me.

Not first time I have been here but will be the last. Unfortunately on many occasions food is delayed or wrong or cold.

No hot drinks, No milkshakes, Limited cold drinks, No ice. Then order handed over after a half an hour wait incomplete. Had to go back for missing items. Please do not charge for the dips and them fail to deliver any with an order of 20 chicken nuggets. Chicken nuggets without dips is like eating cardboard. This restaurant is taking advantage of its location and not providing an adequate standard in any area.

Had to wait for our order and when arrived they had missed off our porridge. They said they would bring it out but 5mins later we were still waiting. Husband went back in to see where it was over hearing a member of staff saying we would have to wait as we were trying to scam them out of a free porridge. Very rude, very unprofessional

poor customer service, no sauces given, even when asked and paid for , dry maccies wouldn’t come to again.

The worse run establishment I’ve ever come across every time I go there they never got milkshakes they always have an excuse it’s not hard to put a Sighn on the tanoid window like others do trying to explain to an autistic non verbal child they don’t have em this is an ongoing problem not recently but for years absolutely shocking to say the least

Used the app to order and had food brought to a table. Despite there being a large queue, we received our food in good time.

Let me just be very clear that the manager/ team leader was so polite and lovely and she was also heavily involved in the work load within the kitchen. I felt bad taking this to her but I did say I know many have experienced this lack of enthusiasm in mc donalds nation wide so if we don't speak up it'll just carry on and be blamed on lovely ladies like her. Start helping your staff mc donalds, it's getting beyond a joke.

We go to this branch often as it’s so busy the food is usually mostly fresh - not today. We had to wait in the bay which would indicate it was freshly cooked but sadly not. , daughters chilli chicken wrap was dry, the chicken hard but strangely over flavoured ( tastes like it was double dipped) the wrap had v little dressing in so it was all v dry. The fries were cold, dry and flavourless. Won’t go back again for a while.
