McDonald's in Edinburgh, City of

A great warm place! Like all humans, they can sometimes make a few mistakes; like burnt bitter sausage. But the cool thing is that they are ready to change it when you complain. They also need to work on their toilets; like dedicating a separate staff.

I ordered food here a big Mac and 2 wrap meals, when I got it I got one wrap with a chicken nugget and one small piece of chicken

No dips as ordered and food cold

Half the order did not turn up,. My complaint to Just Eat has been ignored.

Hot chocolate lacked chocolate. It was more like hot water. There would be less stars but I had to have at least one.

There were no condiments in the bag despite me selecting some.

I have ordered 3 veg burger meal

Absolutely bottled my order, all I ordered was an egg and McMuffin meal which took well over 30 minutes to cook. This wasn’t even a huge or complicated order, other orders were given priority over me. Think the staff were either new or haven’t woken up yet, my meal was also cold and it was an eat in order however they placed it in a takeaway bag. They can’t discern between left or right, absolutely avoid this McDonald’s. I never encountered any issues at other McDonald’s restaurants in Edinburgh apart from St Andrew’s Square, I needed to speak to two members of staff in order to chase them up on my order. At Andrew’s Square McDonald’s is really in a small league of their own, complete bottlers. Then again I should’ve known that my order was going to be botched since my order number was 13. I was never superstitious however after going to this McDonald’s branch I may as well make a start by avoiding this jinxed place. You can wait 13 years for your order here and they won’t even have started cooking it yet. What a joke of a franchise.

Cold, fries under cooked and the wrong drinks

Bad start - no coffee for breakfast as the machine was broken. Food was cold. Tea stone cold and they gave us a hot chocolate instead of the other tea! Worst McDonald's I've ever had

The worst McFlurry I’ve ever had, made really quickly, in one minute, but very poorly done.

Very crowded, orders seemingly prioritised by ease of preparation rather than order time, orders not accurate (which for happy meals takeaways are seen only after arriving at your destination), drinks not placed into the cardboard carriers despite ordering takeaway, McFlurrys were given in a partially melted state.

In the predominantly frenetic pace of the tours, they are a helping hand. Donald's in the United Kingdom does not provide mustard, but they do have barbecue sauce. Remember that in the early days of Donald's on 🇧🇷 they were offered together with Ketchup? So it is...

Fair enough it’s busy but I’ve been to busier stores , have macd’s stoped putting times on their apple pies and decided to just serve them cold , staff friendly and helpful but the little things matter

Wrong flavour of milkshake and no fries with meal or singly. Big Mac obviously chucked together and not that hot on arrival

Despite being always full, they are friendly when serving you.

Missing items The coke spelt everywhere

My order was missing 2 portions of fries and they hadn't even bothered to put the Happy Meal in the box. Just about every time they get something wrong.

Drinks were spilled, straws and napkins completely ruined. One drink completely flat. One fries was literally only 1/2 full. Everything else was bog standard.

Well located restaurant and quick service

Unfortunately it's unclean, customers don't take away their trash and the staff doesn't clear the tables either.

Very, very dirty restaurant. We had to clean the tables ourselves. The floor was an absolute disaster, there were leftover food and other garbage everywhere.

food arrived cold, 1 item missing! driver couldnt find address, I have broken leg so ordered delivery, had to travel from top floor to find driver, unbelievable! I demand refund or compensation this is ridiclous

food is freezing because all you couriers cycle. I pay delivery for warm food.

With how expensive everything is in this city, it is an escape for young people and tourists with a limited budget.

A clean place to eat with table service and plenty seats upstairs. Only issue was the receipt machine fell out of the order point onto the floor when i tried to get my receipt. The door opened and in crashed to the floor with a thump. Quite heavy boxes! Staff put it back and a manager was called but left in the same condition for the next customer.

Extremely busy - too many people waiting for their orders around the ordering machines. They lost my order as well - had to enquire about it otherwise would be waiting forever.

Order took over an hour to arrive after they had confirmed it. Delivery driver had damaged our drinks so one cup was squashed and juice was everywhere. The food was extremely cold.

It's McDonald's. This one is open very late so is popular for post-drinking grub.

A relatively normal macdonalds. Came here for breakfast before going to a trip to the Highlands, the food is alright. Do be careful if you are having their coffee early in the morning, as it is scandalously hot. But it is also my fault that I did not check the temperature prior to drinking a mouthful. Safe to say my mouth was thoroughly scalded, unfortunately it let to the fish and chips that was so renowned in the Highlands tasting tasteless. Only the spiciest of ginger beers could break this spell. Jokes aside it is a usual MacDonald. Come here if you are craving MacDonalds.

the drink lid was not shut properly so the drink was spilled all over my food. the chips were stale and wet after that, as were the selects, everything cold. the burger was thrown around surely as it was a mess. not sure if they go out of their way to make customers unhappy or if they are truly incapable of putting a simple burger order together.

Thuggery persists outside this restaurant daily. Horrible atmosphere, franchise owner is a disgrace to the brand, in my opinion.

McDonald's is seriously ripping you off these days. When the beef patty is a small disc and the sandwich is mostly what you eat then there's a problem. Forget it, cheap nonsense.

It's McDonald's over run with drunk teenagers sitting on floor but tbh that's not staffs fault no one gets paid enough to put up with that

Worst McDonald's ever I have been too had wait for quarter pounder which was lying on the bunker with lid open then I goy the meal with no chips had to I ask for them chips were freezing cold and the burger was barely warm, the severs had attitude and made me scared of telling them that the food was cold, sat looking out the window and the view was homeless people and felt really awkward eating the meal with them looking at people eating, I like McDonald's but I will never come back to this restaurant as no customer service and lack of health and hygiene!!!

What happened to the option to add tomato/ onion/ to your burger on the Burgers I have not saw it there for the chicken burger for example please give people the option to have theses.
