Your classic McDonalds experience, can be quite busy because it's in the city centre but still a solid maccies

This is the worst McDonalds I have ever been to, when our meal of 1 cheese burger meal and 1 crispy chicken burger meal arrived the bun on the cheese burger was literally burnt black so took it to the assistant who did replace itafter 10 min , the other order was to be just a crispy chicken burger but got a spicy one and the chips were coldwith both orders. Would never go there again and will now think twice before eating at any McDonals again

I ordered a cup of tea and no milk was given. I mean how can you have tea without milk. I also ordered fries and they were cold and soggy. Horrible experience, wouldn't recommend

I had cold fries. They took my fries kindly, I heard them speak not so positively behind. I got warm fries, but a very small amount in a Large package.

Surprisingly efficient workers, queue moves rapidly, the food was all hot, fresh, and even looked like the pictures(never had that happen before in all honesty), staff were plentiful,.friendly & helpful. Premises were clean(as clean as is possible whilst 200people are continuously in & out), they had dedicated workers cleaning, others ferrying orders to seated customers, & yet more coming & going, but with no specific purpose I could discern, but then, I was busy stuffing my face & chatting to a date(she picked McD's, so why would I refuse her? And it went that well we've 2nd date in 4 days, not that anyone reading this will care..)

It's a McDonald's. We stopped to eat because it was quick. Most of the trash cans were full or overflowing. The restaurant area was a little dirty.

My total experience was bad. I have to take my pram upstairs no couple seat downstairs. No lifts to go up (not expecting ).No charging service not only the table the slots are not working . My QR code was not working in two of the kiosk upstairs My fries some thing was wrong with it. Sugar and stirr was not given during my table service i have to wait untill some staffs come by the time my coffe got cold. but sitting upstairs near to the windows was relaxing

It's a busy McDonalds. It's correspondingly full and it's pretty loud and hectic here.

The cheapest place to eat in this city that is not exactly cheap when it comes to eating out. Obviously you have to have the expectation of someone who goes to eat at McDonald's. Not bad for balancing costs on a trip.

Typical McDonald's, order at the screen which are in the middle and with no one one the tills if you wanted to order there. No real order and waiting area. Chaos really, but at least they shout the orders out even if the screen says your order is ready 5 mins before they shout it. When you get your food it is walm rather than hot. There is seating area upstairs which Is fairly clean with a staff member sorting the recycling. The toilets were disgusting, urinals blocked and pee of the floor.

Tragic staff forgetting items some times you order online and let you waiting 40 minutes and when is ready and delivery at the restaurant the staff cancel orders.

Worst ever taste of McFlurry. Lookslike brought from some local street. Wants to get refund. Will never recommend

Awful, the totem gave the wrong item, and when I told the staff member, the night manager rudely came and instead of only giving me the right burger, she charged me with an entire more expensive combo, and deny to refund the wrong one. Claiming "it wasn't her fault" and turning his back at me. I tried to be calm and polite the whole time, but totally unpleasant moment and situation in front of so many people. So rude for no reason:/. Was it because I'm a foreign tourist? Sadly, it was my money spent 😔

Rude and awful services . I haven’t done anything wrong. When the panel showed my number to collect , and it’s reported ready at this morning around 10:55am. I was be idle for long time . No one look at me until I asked my collection. The lady , no sorry angry face and drop my food hardly on the panel and not telling me the reason , Later on , I saw the boys was really hard to fix the coffee machine . At least you should say sorry to the customer of the delay and mistress the ready button. But no , over I waited 10 minutes and she left away and ask another teammate to serve. I do complaint this girl , how to be managerial role ?? So awful and rude service . I do not recommend this shop.

Food was cold ! There was a discrepancy with the postcode but the driver didn’t except ! He then tried to ask for 5pounds more !

I understand that McDonalds don’t use gloves which is a company standard when making food but maybe we don’t let staff make the food and have their phone next to them on the line texting. Food safety is very important as someone who works in hospitality myself. Set your standards higher.

Late by 5 mins but the delivery time kept creeping up on the app so later than the original estimate. Missing all burgers ordered. Hungry and out of pocket. Truly awful experience.

It's a McDonald's with three floors. You can also order food using a machine on the second floor.

Just went in for food, just off a 5 hour bus journey so needed something quick to take with before next leg of the journey. Ordered a BBQ chicken wrap, chicken selects and a drink. Got a basic cheese burger and 4 nuggets? Place wasn't even busy so not sure how you screw up they badly.

Order missing 2 main items. Not happy.

Took ages for some reason. And as I wanted to pay by cash for 2 cheeseburgers I could not use the online screens to order. Quite a poor experience if I'm honest.

Food ok. Very messy inside. Only a few seats downstairs. Rest upstairs which having a partner who struggles with stairs meant had to go outside to find somewhere to sit. Wouldn't recommend a visit.

The security guard working on the 17/01/2025 around 1:30-2am was extremely inappropriate, but both repeatedly checking out and glaring at the women at the establishment. I was told repeatedly by company throughout both visits to this McDonalds that they felt uncomfortable by the security and that they wouldn’t stop looking at them. I would advise you stay away from this place.

Dirty restaurant, hygiene needs to be reviewed from the room to the kitchen.

I have rarely seen a McDonald's where hygiene rules were so neglected. No gloves, no caps, no overshoes, and some people handling the controls also used their phones. Additionally, our fries were poorly cooked. It's really worrying. The wait was very long. We were lucky not to get sick.

large coke Zero was spilled all over in the bag which the driver took back, no dips were given/put in the bags, would like refunds on the spilt large coke Zero and dips that should have been in the order

Majority of order was missing - 4 burgers and dipper. Same last week.

Busy and food was cold by the time I got it. Staff seemed harassed. It was clean and tidy, but the atmosphere was a bit under the weather.

They won’t let you order without selecting dips then don’t send any dips!!! Who wants to eat there meal with no dips!!! Very disappointing

The self order machines looked damaged no options to pay in cash was stood there for 10 minutes with a taxi outside and. Nobody was taking any orders at the till. Waste of time and limited.

Arrived at 02:39 and it was closed? Apparently meant to close at 3am and when I knocked on the door the guy laughed at me and shook his head. It’s meant to close at 3am and it’s closed Before 03:00? Atrocious service and other people were shocked and annoyed it closed 20 mins before closing.

Service is quick to say they have no space to work but the food is all cold

A great warm place! Like all humans, they can sometimes make a few mistakes; like burnt bitter sausage. But the cool thing is that they are ready to change it when you complain. They also need to work on their toilets; like dedicating a separate staff.

No dips as ordered and food cold

I ordered food here a big Mac and 2 wrap meals, when I got it I got one wrap with a chicken nugget and one small piece of chicken

Hot chocolate lacked chocolate. It was more like hot water. There would be less stars but I had to have at least one.

I have ordered 3 veg burger meal

Absolutely bottled my order, all I ordered was an egg and McMuffin meal which took well over 30 minutes to cook. This wasn’t even a huge or complicated order, other orders were given priority over me. Think the staff were either new or haven’t woken up yet, my meal was also cold and it was an eat in order however they placed it in a takeaway bag. They can’t discern between left or right, absolutely avoid this McDonald’s. I never encountered any issues at other McDonald’s restaurants in Edinburgh apart from St Andrew’s Square, I needed to speak to two members of staff in order to chase them up on my order. At Andrew’s Square McDonald’s is really in a small league of their own, complete bottlers. Then again I should’ve known that my order was going to be botched since my order number was 13. I was never superstitious however after going to this McDonald’s branch I may as well make a start by avoiding this jinxed place. You can wait 13 years for your order here and they won’t even have started cooking it yet. What a joke of a franchise.

Bad start - no coffee for breakfast as the machine was broken. Food was cold. Tea stone cold and they gave us a hot chocolate instead of the other tea! Worst McDonald's I've ever had

good was good but the chips where cold and the burgers where look warm

Very crowded, orders seemingly prioritised by ease of preparation rather than order time, orders not accurate (which for happy meals takeaways are seen only after arriving at your destination), drinks not placed into the cardboard carriers despite ordering takeaway, McFlurrys were given in a partially melted state.

It was ok, it's just a Mc Donald's.
