Staff not friendly, table service not working but no one told us. Full of "yooouuuths" which is annoying

Occasionally i'll have a McDonald's and today Enjoyed it. Had a double cheeseburger meal. 🍔

20 minutes in a parking bay for luke warm food

Really rude manager, straws went soggy as the silly paper straws do, and manager refused to give us straws when we went back through drive thru as we hadn’t purchased another drink in that transaction!! Stingy with straws, avoid

I'm generally a McDonalds fan. You know the standard of what you'll be getting, for a very reasonable price. Unfortunately, the Trunk Road venue has disappointed too many times and it's unlikely my wife and I shall be returning. Fighting your way through the smokey haze created by the plethora of food couriers outside the entrance is off putting to non-smokers such as we. Even when we're in and seated, the wait for food arrival is consistently greater than any other establishment we frequent. When it does arrive, it's often cold. I'm no expert in these matters, but I think they prioritise the Uber, Just Eat and deliveroo and drive through customers before those ordering within. My wife has noted meals and drinks behind the counter, awaiting someone to take them to a table, so I suppose it's inevitable items are often cold. I'm sorry, but this establishment is just not for us.

Ordered a pretty simple order, took over 25 minutes in the click and serve, and once again missed items from the order.

What I witnessed this evening around 830pm the manager called Sandra I think if I got her badge correctly, firstly spoke to the delivery driver disgustingly in front of everyone because he asked were his orders were and she started shouting don't shout at her he didn't even raise his voice, a guy come in who had been waiting a long time in bay 5 and asked how long his food would be she said I don't know he said well we been waiting a while now she said well I can't tell ya how long it will be wait inside it might be quicker he then said he was in car and walked towards door and she shouted well wait outside then you'll be waiting half an hour... his girlfriend then come in to request who she was as she wanted to put a complain in and said will do so tommorow, after speaking to the cleaner, the manager also had no hair net on and fringe and side bits and pony tail hanging down. For a manager she should be stripped of that as no manager should speak to anyone like that I nearly said something even though had nothing to do with me, the security guard saw everything, and witnessed myself and someone else say they will complain. How can a manager speak like that to customers. Firstly an apology should of been given for the delay not making out its the delivery driver or customers fault. Absolutely disgusting. I hope the other lady puts a complaint in tommorow and something is done about this so called manager. And for me to complain about someone else's issue it must be bad.

What can I say lol more interested in sorting out the just eat drivers, twice now foods took ages even though shop almost empty .was also cold and looked like someone had squashed it

One of the best McDonald's I have been to, always a fast service and rarely have to be directed to a order bay from the drive thru.

Just been here as the one in Redcar which is my local have let me down too many times. (Wrong order numerous times or things missing) But here a young lady actually amended my order for me saving me money & getting me extra. Brilliant and so helpful please keep it up xxx

Consistently underperforming. Missing food items from todays order: extra meat free patty, a double big Mac, a toy in a happy meal, sauces we asked for and cucumbers in the happy meal which were customized. Completely unacceptable service when you have to pull over after the drive through to check the food and then confront them, I got an apology but the experience of hassle free tea is ruined and felt they could've offered a complimentary item due to their mistake. Not to mention the large fries were a very small portion, more like a small.

The food was good, nice and fresh but always a long wait and slow service

I used it for charging the van, toilet break and a Mccafe. Good fast chargers, decent toilets and parking, the normal food and drink options. Service was slow though, despite there appearing to be plenty of staff and at a fairly quiet time. I wouldn't expect to wait a full 5 minutes for a hot drink despite there being no queue of orders at the machines. Overall, ok.

Not keen on McDonald's very much. Fries are never hot... Warm if you're lucky. Staff are fine though & kids seem to enjoy it.

It's a McDonalds, what can you really expect. However it is often the case that whole parts of the order are missing, the presentation is often terrible of burgers being more slanted than a rhombus and sometimes they forget entirely about the order it seems. I've waited easily over half an hour twice for my order. The area this is in is a reason to cut a bit of slack, however i have literally been punched here and there are often groups of rowdy/aggressive youth in and outside the shop everyday. Safest time to go there tends to be after 2am at this point.

A typical macdonalds franchise. No frills, no bells, no whistles. Just cheap American fast food

Once again, we have gome through the drive through and ive come home to bits of my order missing. You either need to retrain your staff or employ people that want to be there. It is rediculous that I have to make 2 trips for one order. I will never be going back to the trunknroad one ever again.

This place is run by people who CANT READ or simply just dont care the amount of times they mess orders up litterally mess that many orders up on uber you can't even complain no more because they think your taking the micky out of them and trying to get money back end.of the day you lot need to go back to school learn to read and follow SIMPLE instructions if I could get 0 stars I would of. Place needs shutting down!

Say what you want but when you need a quick and decent breakfast on the go then it’s my go to place.

Ordered delivery waited over one hour for it to arrive then when it did it was stone cold totally unimpressed and disappointed with this service

Ordered food via the ordering machines in the restaurant. Food arrived quickly and the order was correct. The member of staff was really helpful and assisted in getting the large order to the car.

Waited 10 minutes for ice caramel frappe got home food cold won't be going back to the one on trunk road

Forgot a couple of the topping on my quarter pounder deluxe and I don’t know how long the nuggets were in the holding bay for like but I reckon I could break a few windows with them. Ordered 20 and only got 18 in two different boxes as well. Sort the crack out

Difficult to review the food when the delivery driver takes it to the wrong house. Useless.

Most of the time, there's a massive group of delivery drivers from abroad, and they really make themselves feel at home. I'm a foreigner myself, but those guys are rather obnoxious. At least don't keep them at the main entrance?

Just been to the specific mc Donald's for drive through. We ordered 3 CHIKEN nuggets happy meals, with oasis, 2 chicken mayo and two plain cheeseburgers with an oasis drink. At first they gave us a completely different order. After waiting in the car for 10-15 minutes they gave us our order, only to arrive home to realise that the happy meals all had cheeseburgers. None of my kids likes cheeseburgers so they didn't eat them. It is not the first time having issues with this specific place . A few months back they completely forgot to put a spicy wrap in the order. Unacceptable to pay gor something and get something else or not get your item at all.

Terrible ordered fish meal both times got home only live 2 min away cold hard overdone twice its happened absolutely frustrating food not nice always bad service, rang them up they said we change it , happened twice , know, not good enough really.

Hello I'm a delivery driver,the staffs in this shop are really rude towards the drivers,They are not responding even if the order is ready,I was calling them for my order they were just chatting within them without responding to me..They always show hatred towards the delivery drivers, Especially towards a immigrant.

Big companies like McDonald's and greggs (etc) are ripping there names and popularity to shreds by using uber eats delivery drivers that havent got a clue whether its day or night. Speak little English and don't know where the hell they are going .why don't these big companies employ there own drivers that have a local knowledge of the area. I guess they would have to pay them more money this absolutely disgusting. I don't use McDonald's due to all the mistakes the drivers make. McDonald's etc deserve to loose custom and popularity due to there lack of regards to there customers.

It is always really cold in this mcdonalds as the air con is on even though its cold out. Service was below the usual standard today. The burgers in the big macs were very cold but the fries were lovely and hot. My galaxy hot chocolate didn't have the cream and stars on the top. Can't fault the cleaning crew. They are always fab. Sadly they require door security now to keep out the rude sweary teenagers. Not what you want to hear when you have young children with you but can't blame macie ds for that.

Too crowded,too many delivery men waiting for orders,not enough room to wait for take out order.

If there was a 0 star option I would of given it. Cold stale fries. Burnt bun in the mac crispy. Cold coffee all food only just warm and staff are totally ignorant. Number called food dumped on counter with not a word. Absolutely a total disgrace.

Honestly this macdonalds has gone down hill the milkshakes are just wrong they always run out out stuff and my niece got a milkshake that was absolutely disgusting there's either something wrong with there machine or they need to teach the staff better. And it's not been a one off its been like this for a while I just gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple times but not anymore avoid go to a different one if you can. Aw and they gave me no stray for a iced latte how the hell are you ment to drink that without a straw.

I enjoy this place alot, but I found this in my granddads mc chicken sandwhich??? It was very odd. 🤨 It spoke to me and said, “Brr skibidi dob dob dob yes yes. Skibidi dobide dib dib.” Please can someone explain? 😄

September 3rd, called in again and nothing has changed about the tables outside. I was going to sit outside as it was a Very nice day but, the tables were covered in food and ash ! Why can't they tidy these places up ?? Amazes me !! bTW..this was just after 9am !

No bacon, I said no tomato as I’m allergic. Says it on the box but still on the burger?! Oh and I’m sick of asking for dips and paying for them not to receive them. No wonder you work in McDonald’s when you can’t even follow simple instructions. Full burger went in the bin as unable to eat. Need new staff! £25 on this and chicken nuggets and delivery.

For such a new restaurant, this looks poorly cared for. Collection point screen not working, staff wearing hair nets, but in such a way that they may as well not be - just pegging them to the top of their caps and tucking some of their hair into them. If you have time to lean, you have time to clean should be reinforced here - too much social interaction between staff and not enough customer and cleanliness focus. Food was fine, but missed the dip from my order which had to be requested.

Staff always friendly. Tables always cleared. Queues can be slow at times.

It is okay as far as McDonald's go. I would recommend the drive-thru rather than going in as my experience inside wasn't great. Too many kids hanging around the entrance being troublesome. Other than that problem nothing bad to say about the place. Staff always seem friendly and polite. Update: shocking food. Ordered a big Mac today that was more like a cold value burger. Update 21st Feb 23: now on short measures for cappuccino and ice creams this week. Absolutely shocking. The cappuccino looks more in the photo, believe me it was half foam half liquid. Short measure of ice cream with the usual gap of air hidden underneath the top swirl.

There is always something happening in this maccies, from people being kicked out to people begging for money, kids starting fights. It seems to be a hub for it, food isn't hot and it is always messy and slapped together... it just seems a waste

It's just your everyday McDonald's. Their delivery is a nightmare you never get what you pay for most of the time but the staff inside the store are incredibly friendly and helpful, always a smile and a laugh when I turn up.

Can be frustrating at times when you have to wait long periods and they still get order wrong

McDelivery order didn’t arrive for what was then then 3rd time. My address was correct on the app and email confirmation. Went into the store where the manager basically said this happens a lot and accused me of entering my detail in wrong. Rather than calm the situation down she made the situation worse. She explained it happens a lot, that the drivers are not English, do not speak English not understand English. When I said that’s not my problem I ordered the food through McDonalds with the correct details. If they outsource delivery to Uber eats then they should be able to read and understand the delivery instructions. She then said well if you go to France do you speak French, which was irrelevant. After initially agreeing to replace my missing food she then threw me out of the place. Absolute joke of a mangeress who did nothing other than inflame the situation. Will never order from here again. Very very poor do not use mcdelivery service from this McDonald’s as you will not get your food then you will be told it was your fault and not given a refund

I am not happy! Imagine this, you decide after a long hard day at work that you want a mcdonalds, nothing at that moment could be better than a double quarter pounder. As you roll into the drive thru your mouth begins to water, the thought of the delectable taste on your tongue. You begin to get excited. Car after car infront of you places their order through the machine thingy, when it comes to your turn, you tell the bloke on the other end of the machine that you would like a medium quarter pounder meal with coke, and very specifically that it is to be plain. Keep this in mind, now plain means just the burger, no sauce, no vegetables, nothing like that. I asked for it to be plain because I don't like vegetables, I hate vegetables, there's nothing worse than vegetables, especially on a quarter pounder. On my drive home, my meal, sat patiently waiting to be eaten, in my passenger seat was hiding a deep, dark secret from me. I would only find out this secret when I got home, as I prepared to tuck in to my beautiful meal, I noticed something out of the ordinary, the sticker that should be on the packaging of the burger, was missing, the same sticker that states if the burger is plain or not. As I opened the box I feared for the worst, I feared the burger wasn't plain. Guess what. It wasn't plain! I am furious. You just think "why not just take the vegetables out", fair point, but the sauce, oh the sauce, you cant just scrape the sauce off of the buns, it stays, and even if you could get it off it wouldn't be the same, it never is. Most times this incident has happened and I am quite frankly done with you inconsiderate people. I expect changes to the workplace! Its wrong, I should get the food I pay for. Do better...

No milkshakes for 8 months. Often a meal is missing from order that has been paid for.

Overall it's Macdonald's food...same as everywhere else. Service has recently got better all be it a little slow.

The kids screens dont work ,the place is packed with deliveroo and just eat delivery drivers , and the food is cold very poor customer service.

Last couple of times been in had to empty the tables ourselves, when not busy in side. Becoming scruffy and dirty. If you drive better off going the one on the A66 much cleaner in there. And your not battling through all the just eat drivers to get your order.

Lots of shiny equipments but not good enough to keep the food hot. And badly trained staff what doesn't care if it's hot or not does McDonald's actually care customer services by email certainly doesn't and the managers in store I don't care either as everything is just done in a procedure

Half of the time the food is good and warm. The other half it is stone cold and looks like it's been thrown all round the place. Added insult today of a black hair in with my burger. Not mine as I'm a skinhead.

I have to put dine but we actually didn't get the chance due to no soft drinks for the children to go with meals seriously 😐 why not try making a board or a decent sign before entering the drive through also slow in taking the order 3 cars on the opposite drive got spoke to for there orders before we where entertained maybe teach your staff to take orders rightly it was if one person was on to here the opposite side was a woman ours was a nan so where was he for the 3 veichels behind us to get through slow service and disgrace not to have a sign to say there where no soft drinks from milkshakes to cokes ect

Worst of any I know for having missing items on the menu due to "stock issues" currently no milkshake/icecream as the machine "needs a part" it has been broken for a month and will be off for "a long time" Ordering was chaos as one side was flying through orders and the other was so slow people were switching sides thinking one wasn't manned.

3 drinks missing and the one that they did brink was nearly empty as it had all spilt out in the bag.

I have been coming here 3 times a week over the last 6 weeks. Each time my young daughter wants a happy meal with the ice cream. The machine has been broken for weeks. We ask when is it getting fixed. No answer Trying to explain to a un HAPPY 4 year old. Why are they advertising new Oreo ice cream when it doesn't work 🙄 False advertising

We got a delivery on deliveroo and we are missing half of our food. 2 chicken mayos, 2 medium fries, a medium Fanta. We ordered 2 sweet chili chicken wraps only 1 came. Not happy at all.

Sick to death of coming here and the Ice Cream machine is off. No McFlurries even though the posters are everywhere and No Milkshakes. Ask staff why this is constantly a problem and they all shrug. Drive to the next nearest McDonald's and their Ice Machine works. So what is this locations problem? Don't believe its the machine broken...this has gone on 6 months +...

Plenty of staff but seemed to be struggling to keep on top of cleaning. Order wasn't all there and comment from grandson was they never have the ice-cream working here and sorry to say that was true again 😏

Cant remember going here. Apparently you only have to walk past and your location on your phone picks it up.
