Taco Bell in Redcar and Cleveland

Only been here once but we ordered several things. Even though some tasted alright you get very little food. The tacos is a joke. Nearly anything in the shell! You lay all that money for nothing. I won't come back here

Good food, good service, good price. Found a voucher online for 35% off and the lad at the window was happy to oblige and pop it on for me. Great service and value. Plus... I always feel like you get much more of a substantial meal than the alternative outlets.

We ordered our wraps with no sour cream and they came with sour cream. My boyfriend took 1 bite it went straight in the bin. Portions are tiny for the price. The churros were hard and not the best

Food is good but they did miss a couple of items. The service was slow and unfriendly. They took so long to take my order that the voucher I wanted to use expired (10mins) I think. It's ok, not great though

Who made that mess? Food was incredible as always, the crunchwrap can never let you down. The service was decent and quick, the only reason its getting 4 stars is because the men's toilets were ABYSMAL. Could do with a bit of cleaning and maintenance. Also, a weird guy came and parked right next to me and blocked me in my car, once I moved he just left. You take that as you will. Highly recommend the food.

Placed an order for £17 tried to edit my order was no option to I then have called Taco Bell 11 times probs some bike ignoring the phone working her shitty job fully just ignorant so I’m currently waiting an order to turn up with things I’m allergic to place takes in no consideration even just pick up the phone and let me tell use I need to edit my order just laziness and ignorant bimbos working behind a counter

I used to order from here on a regular basis as the food was often fresh, hot and pretty yummy, all for pretty decent value. Unfortunately, it feels as though the quality has been on a steady decline over the past year, as our orders are now consistently cold (I understand this can be more of an issue with delivery couriers rather than the restaurant, but it happening on such a frequent basis indicates it’s not just that) and wrong. I’d definitely recommend considering other places over this Taco Bell, as the quality you get for the price is disappointing.

Service was fast and reasonable. Staff were lovely. Restaurant was clean and tidy. Food tasted amazing! Price was reasonable and portions were decent. Will come again as a treat.

I visited this store for the first time to find that they had no fries, visited a second time to try it out and found the food so so.

never go here i beg. they had completely forgotten my 1.5L fanta when its £5 to begin with. they had added cheese to one of the tacos when my partner is allergic to cheese. an absolute disgrace, they have no consideration for their customers at all. i had tried to ring them up 5 times now and i have yet to receive a reply from them. someone close this franchise down i beg

Burritos did not have much taste. No ice in the drinks machine, place was cleaner than our last visit however that would be the last time we eat there way over priced for portion size and quality. Staff didn't seem like they even wanted to be there

THE worst Taco Bell in the UK. Where to start. Broken Ice Machine making a noise so loud you couldn’t speak to your family. Constant. Sounded like a concrete hammer. Staff couldn’t give two hoots. Claimed they couldn’t turn it off. Filthy tables. Stressed customers sat in blinding sun pouring through blindness windows with ice machine constant hammering. Food slow and burritos not labelled so you have no idea which is which. Sauces missing from order. It was an awful experience. Should be ashamed to have the Taco Bell sign on the front.

Abysmal, the restaurant was dead, literally no customers and it took them 20 minutes to do a crispy chicken burrito meal only for the man to come to the window to say "we were waiting on chips" in the end I asked for a refund. If it was busy I could understand but the fact it was quiet there's no excuse.

Even tho it was busy, the food got served fast, the food was AMAZING , i would gladly recommend it

This was my first visit to Taco Bell. Everything was delicious and fresh. The dinner was warm and satisfying. Good portion at a fair prices. Quality at its finest. Perfect packaging and presentation. Clean and tidy. Great experience. Amazing service. The workers were friendly. Quite fast to get the food made aswell. Refillable beverages. Definitely worth a visit. Highly recommend.

I ordered £17 worth of food to be delivered into my house. The delivery driver hasn't turned up. I put a note to give me a call when he/she arrived. No call and knocking the door. I rang them several times no one is answering. Are they legit this restaurant.

Food is always tasty but every time I go the ice machine isn't working/no ice for my drink, toilets are clean each time I have visited too.

This was my second visit to this particular Taco Bell, and unfortunately, it left me disappointed once again. While my first experience wasn't great, I believe in giving places a second chance because everyone can have an off day. Sadly, this visit didn’t redeem them. To start, the service was incredibly slow. My food took about 20 minutes to arrive, which is far from "fast food." My first visit was even slower, leaving a bad first impression for a takeaway. It's frustrating to think about how much better and quicker service I've experienced at other locations in cities like Sheffield and Newcastle. When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait. The chips, usually well-seasoned, were bland this time due to a lack of seasoning. My quesadilla was poorly presented as well—partially cut, leaving me to finish the job at home with a knife. This makes me wonder if they forgot or simply didn’t care to complete it. Like you literally have the knife in your hand? Surely you could've finished the job. Adding to the disappointment is the consistent stinginess of this location. On my first visit, they ran out of caramel sauce for churros and offered me random dips like hot sauce instead—completely unsuitable, like do you expect me to dip my churros in hot sauce? When I asked for a taco as a substitution, they refused, claiming it wasn’t of equivalent value which was baffling since I wasn’t the one at fault. This visit had similar issues. They ran out of proper lids for the cheese dip and served it in a larger container, which felt like an unnecessary shortcut. Why not just give me a large cheese dip instead of this half-measure? The cost difference can't be that significant. On top of that, I paid extra for extra chicken in my quesadilla, but it didn’t feel like I got anything beyond the standard portion—or possibly less. To make matters worse, their drinks were flat, similar to the inconsistent quality you might find at some McDonald’s locations. Compared to other Taco Bells, this was a letdown. Overall, this Taco Bell location has slow service, inconsistent quality, and a stingy approach to their offerings. It's clear why their Google rating is already so low. Taco Bell, you need to get new staff here and ensure service consistency across locations. This place is seriously slacking.

First time at Middlesbrough Taco Bell. Food was good, service adequate (it's fast food so not a lot of interaction with staff), clean tables and toilets. Would definitely go back. Imho better value for money than McD and BK.

The prices were pretty good for a snack

The drive thru is very handy being disabled although there are disabled parking spaces nearby if you prefer to go inside. The process is usually straight forward and quick, I find the cost about £12-£18 for a main, side, snack and basic chips although loaded fries and more elaborate meals will cost more. Food standard is a bit hit and miss at the moment sadly, my most recent visit, asked for a cheap spicy chicken burrito and it had 18 slices of jalapeños inside! Might be amazing to some people granted but total overkill in my opinion! My fries were limp and the beef burrito tasted greasy and not too nice. Asked for 2 portions of Churros, and when I got home, I had been given 2 bags of cinnamon crisp things instead. I've been coming since it opened, but I'm just hoping the food quality and standard isn't slipping. Staff members are lovely and very friendly and it's always very welcoming. The restaurant always looks very clean and tidy too, which you can't say about some places!

I’d never been to one of these places before so did not really know what to expect. Ordered a chicken burrito and a volcano burreto and some seasoned fries. My wife tried churros. The burritos were enjoyable enough, the volcano wasn’t spicy, which I had expected it to be. It was a quite sloppy filling with a few bits and pieces within. The chicken one had two or three pieces of chicken and bits oaf salad. The fries were powdery and peppery but fine. The Churro was chewy. In summary, it was ok and a little different as far as fast food goes. Expensive for what you get but this one is a roadside outlet. Don’t expect your mind to be blown, though.

Car parks and surrounding area filthy with litter and food waste. Served by incompetent and ignorant staff member.

me and my partner went to taco bell last night for our anniversary and as we’ve woke up the morning we have all symptoms of food poisoning. it must be the chicken because that’s the only thing we ate apart from the chicken is the chips , my little sister is also experiencing the exact same as we are, our belly is killing us from abdominal pain.

I ordered from Just Eat. My meal did not arrive despite them saying it was delivered. I am now £15 out of pocket. Tried to get in touch with the delivery driver and shop but no answer. I will not be ordering here again.

I tried the combo box, fairly standard taco and burrito. Loved the churros and the ice tea, not bad for £10

The app is useless. Food was cold, a burrito was not what was ordered, and we received a soggy taco. The way staff snatched our receipt off the order makes me think they'd presumed I was someone else ordering, and the utterly disgusting inedible meal was deliberate!

This would be a 0-star review if that were possible! Lets start with the fact that the Taco Bell app makes Flappy Bird look like professionally written! After multiple attempts, I finally managed to place an order while sitting in the car park outside the restaurant. It was quick, and everything was cold. Apart from being cold, the quesadillas were "acceptable", as were the nachos and fries. The Burrito we ordered was more tortilla than anything else, with almost no filling at all despite having paid for extra jalapenos (there were none) and extra beef. But at least that was better than the totally inedible SOGGY crispy taco. I very much got the impression that the staff may have thought this was someone else's order and deliberately messed the order up, by the way they snatched away the order receipt. Totally and utterly disgusted and will NEVER VISIT THIS RESTAURANT EVER AGAIN!

It was packed and staff were rushing about on this occasion but they all kept their cool and delivered as good a service as ever.

Food not bad, decor- dire small tables , horrible noisy chairs that squeal like nails on a blackboard, wanted a cold drink....put some ice in the cup, added some supposedly "cold" water, by the time I walked to my seat the ice had melted...so it wasn't so cold after all.....

First time having Taco Bell in the UK. Was confused by the option to add extra beef to a £7 burrito. Realised when it arrived. The burritos were simply a liquidated mess of cheese with about 25 grams of beef and around 3 grains of rice. Glad I added Jalapeños at 59p to add some flavour. Absolutely crazy. Never seen anything like it. Whole £30 family meal must have had as much protein it as a single soy bean. Won’t be having again.

Place is run by ignorant staff members with attitude problems. Food was cold by the time we got home (5min drive), and just bad quality in general. Inside of restaurant looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. Go somewhere else if you want decent food.

For all Muslims who go there for a Halal food. Note that they no longer serve Halal meat from 29th Feb 2024.

I hadn’t been here for a while and thought I would treat myself and my friend. Really enjoyed the food, I got a Volcano Burrito meal, and there was an offer to get 3 tenders for free (these were lovely!). The service was excellent, I had a little trouble with the app and was supported straight away by a guy called Jack who was on the till area at 6:50/7pm tonight. He was great and I couldn’t fault him, so helpful and when I wanted to change my drink he was kind and helpful. Thank you team for making a lovely meal and thank you Jack for your amazing service !

Worst customer service I have ever come across, untrained and clueless staff

Me and my gf saw 2 of the employees outside smoking with their gloves still on!! They caught us looking and took them off and put them in their pockets. Absolutely disgusting will not be returning. Mountain Dew is a scam as well, doesn’t mention it being sugar free! And they charge £1.50 extra for it !

This is possibly the worst fast food I've ever had. The cheesy chips had a tiny squirt of cheese on and were ridiculously salty. The nachos were just plain and boring, the fillings in everything were barely there. Deffo wouldn't recommend. Very very disappointed

Not sure why this place has so many negative reviews, my friends and I frequent this Taco Bell often and always have a positive experience. The food is a very decent price and always tastes amazing. I've only ever gone into the store once as we normally go through the drive thru but the service every time has been extremely quick, even when we have been during busy periods. Lush food, great service. Never had an issue yet.

Don’t bother, they don’t sell the new bacon quesadilla range because it’s apparently a halal store. Last time I checked this was England not Pakistan. Imagine McDonald’s opening a store in ENGLAND and not selling sausage McMuffins or bacon cheeseburgers because it’s not suitable for the 6% minority population in this country instead of catering to the remaining 94% who aren’t snowflakes or scared of bacon. Absolutely pathetic may as well just ban pork altogether. Will Muslims not go to tesco because there is bacon in the fridges? This is the beginning of the end.
