A great little Maccys for picking up a quick brekkie or a coffee.

Not for me just the grandkids they are happy I'm happy

The food is good but, please can the staff read orders and instructions properly.. I had wrong and food missing items 3 times

First time coming to this location. Service was good. Didn't have to wait too long. I pre ordered from my phone before going in to collect. It was a collection order. It was busy inside but food kept going out an orderly fashion. I would recommend and definitely return here again.

Don't even waste your time, everytime ive ordered from here my shit has been wrong.

We have ordered from this restaurant on multiple occasions recently (approximately 4) and all have come with sub standard or missing items. All were ordered through THEIR app, but when asking for a refund for the meal we are brushed off to Ubereats. Apparently they have a policy in place, arranged with McDonald's to only refund part of the value! How is this good customer service, being passed from pillar to post to try and get what we ordered. If an item is missing, the contract has not been fulfilled, so why should they be able to keep the money and only refund part of it. I am beyond furious, and think a global brand like McDonald's should do better!!

Very disorganised today loosing orders etc not great

Don't have someone to bring your food out and being disabled it's a bit of a waste of time using the app to get grill parking always tells you to go to front counter to order app is pointless here

Absolute hole staff don't care make a mess of the food yhe amount of people complaining was ridiculous and taking food back.

Not a regular visitor but wanted breakfast. Called into Manchester Rd Bolton, the breakfast was pipping hot.

Good place quick service and helpful staff the lady walking around cleaning tables and bringing orders to you is second to none and sooooo helpfull credit to the restaurant so lovely

Let's be honest. Disgusting all round. Worst McDs I've visited in the UK by a COUNTRY MILE! Food and hygiene is like I'm in Africa. Horrible size, taste, presentation and the big one, hygiene. Tastes NOTHING like normal McDs for the last 50yrs.

Cold burgers cold and hard fries slow service and can't get orders correct coffee cold and tasted like swill. It's a disgrace

the food takes ages to be prepared and delivered and when it is delivered it’s freezing cold and they always mess up the orders

I ordered a burger meal with no pickle. When I bit into my burger there was pickle on it I went into the premises and explained what had happened to a very nice young girl I told her that I ordered no pickle but was still put on ! What if I was allergic to pickle , I think this would be a very different matter to the responce I got …. oh im sorry !!

I m driving thru and wating 15 minit get food

I don't know what to say first we got wrong order even it was so quiet .I asked them for my second order the cheese was cold so please make it right this time . But it was same thing. And i get food always from mac and i never had bad experiences like this time

Ignorant incompetent staff . Luke warm food . Rude service . Extremely long wait (25 minutes )and I was the ONLY CUSTOMER . A bunch of silly kids trying to run a business with NO SENSE OF RESPONSIBILITY AT ALL . WOULD NOT TRUST THIS PLACE AT ALL

My quarter pound cheese burger was cold and dry and my chips must of been the off cut not one of them was bigger than 1 inch and some of them was very dark brown and rubbery

Food gone either too wet or too dry and over salted and peppered... 2 home deliveries via their app have had missing items, nothing which could be done, apparently! It's never the little free burger from points that missing though! This place is most definitely needs to improve both in the kitchen and quality check at the end. Better training on quantities of oil and seasoning would improve taste to how it should be. Staff- better than the china gardens, I've seen the manager there shout at her staff.. but I'm seeing communication and training could improve.

Ordered the food from their own app and the food came cold and nearly melted ice cream. Found out that the 4 big mac meals only had one burger and 3 missing burgers, spoke to the manager and was rude and unhelpful and she pointed to customer service. Rang up and again, useless customer service, refund was not satifiying after cold food and 3 missing burgers.

Placed an order through the app and it was delivered from here and I was missing most of the order. I was given a £16 refund for the missing items but nothing for the rest of the wasted cold food .I went up to the restaurant for the missing items as they didn’t answer the phone only to be told I had to go on the app they couldn’t help me there but the app wasn't helpful either .I won’t be ordering from the app again or using this McDonald’s again shocking unhelpful staff

Just been through drive thru, ordered, went to first window, nobody at window, sat waiting, no price on screen, drove to next window, told young girl nobody at first window so she argued with me saying she was sat there, I am not a liar . I suggest you check your cctv, terrible customer service. Drove off without order.

The night shift are awful, got our orders wrong then gave me burgers with no sauce or anything on….. avoid!

The worst experience at any McDonald's. Food with no taste, fries cold and dry and service, beside the lady customer leader no one looks is carrying about any good service. They forgot about the portion of fries and the raspberry pie. Never going back in there. Better starving.

Very disappointed with the food. The egg was well overcooked. The pancakes were mostly inedible with hard and dried edges. So bad, I couldn't even eat with the knife and fork provided. Everything was barely lukewarm. Not a happy breakfast experience and I will not try this branch again. This was 7.00am so breakfast items should be fresh, hot and not overcooked. I would guess they cooked it several hours earlier. Come on, you can do better than this!

Food could be better; especially when your offering promos on the app and then you go to get it and they say they haven’t got it. Burgers are decent not as greasy as other McDonald’s but presentation should be better how hard is it to put bread and 2 burgers straight?

Went in the order breakfast. The order points there were really slow and took ages to order my breakfast. Why waiting for my food. There were chips on the food from the night shift clearly not cleaned to a high stand what you Expect from McDonald's. Breakfast was very disappointing didn't fill me up. You can get better and cheaper from your local cafe etc.

First time visiting. Food was nice, could of been hotter Place was fairly clean Was quite quiet, not too busy which was good.

This was a last minute call. Food was luke warm at best. Big Mc doesn't, but never does, looks like the advert or what they used to be. Server didn't ask if we wanted to go large!

Let’s face it, no McDonalds are any good, but Manchester Road Bolton can’t even get the basics right! I had to complain today about some soggy excuse for a breakfast wrap and the so called manager conceded that she wouldn’t eat it,, then I was accused of being condescending and had a fiver threw at me!! WOW!!!

I have just had the most awful and upsetting experience with a manager. I am disgusted and absolutely appalled how this person behaved! Slamming a window in a customers face is just down right rude! As she was in the wrong and having waited 10 minutes to be brought the wrong food I would have thought a little empathy wouldn’t be too much to ask! What a rude and entitled person to be working as a customer facing manager!

Everytime I buy a large drink, I only get a medium. The cup is never full. Today I was told that some one had to come out to sort the machine. It's been like this for months! It's a rip off that I'm paying for a large and only getting a medium. Not value for money at all!

Ordered thru drive thru, wrong drinks given, not a problem and easily sorted, then asked to pull over and wait for order, waited 10 mins then wrong order brought out, waited some more, correct order brought out, cold food, no sauces, no sorry for your wait, just bad customer service and bad food.

Waited 28 mins for meal late last night. Not bother going again to that unit.

Typical McDonald, pretty quick here to be fair. Order was correct and warm, dips provided without having to ask. Atmosphere is dead.

The staff leave you waiting ages at the left drive thru when its not busy. If they're not using it they should put a sign out not leave you until you're frustrated and not give any good reason. The coke mix is never right they put way too little syrup in. We've stopped getting fizzy drinks its that bad.

This place is the best mcdonalds in the region. The fillet-o-fish is always fresh and never overdone and their fries thus far have never tasted of old oil like they do in other branches. They're a bit stingy with mcflurry sauce and toppings (and on occasion, have omitted the sauce its supposed to come with) I've only ever used the drive through so can't comment on the inside

Cold food staff not friendly and won't visit again

Ignore one the staff ask for my order then manger said no don't have coupon if you can used them telling me been used when I no they ain't your app was not even on your staff couldn't even keep up with the Drive threw never minder the staff inside and uber don't run a place if you can get the staff I had no dinner to day thanks to your staff mcdonald's I work hard not standing about winding customer up thanks for wasting my dinner time today won't happen again I won't use you again waste of space

Tom, the manager, did extend an apology and issued a refund for the oversight, a gesture of goodwill that I apricide, despite the fact that I was left with no snack during my night shift. However, the pattern of repeated mishaps speaks to a larger issue within the branch that apologies alone cannot mend. The essence of drive-through service is not just convenience but also reliability and warmth, both in service and in the meals we look forward to. I find myself compelled to offer a word of caution to future patrons: Please, check your order before driving away. Ensure that not only is everything present, but that your food is served hot and fresh, as it should be. It's a small step that I wish were unnecessary, a safeguard against the disappointment of returning to the office with less than what you paid for—both in terms of items and quality - HORRIBLE FEELING. Regrettably, I must advise against visiting this particular McDonald's drive-through. A place where the warmth of the food pales in comparison to the chill of disappointment. My hope is that this feedback serves as a catalyst for change, a call to elevate standards and reignite the commitment to customer satisfaction. Until then, I find myself searching for that sense of comfort and reliability elsewhere.

Train your staff how to read orders absolutely useless yet again items missing from order then I have to reorder and pay delivery and service charge and chase uber eats for the refund and wait days for it, needs shutting this place never again will I order from here look at the reviews how is nobody at mcdonalds picking up on this it's shocking I'd be ashamed if this was my business but you just don't care as your that big of a franchise. Sort it out before you have no customers at all

Waste of time using this McDonald's.... slow service and mostly cold on several occasions. 45 mins for a chicken sandwich with no apology. Needless to say I have started using other fast food chains instead, this restaurant really has affected my mind about this brand now.

Upstairs closed at tea time.. food not the best.. normally 5star review but tonight was not the best

Standard McD's food obviously, but the service was better than I've experienced in any other franchise. There was one lady in particular who was friendly, polite and made sure everything was in order. She didn't stop throughout the time we were there, looking after customers and tidying and cleaning.

Some strange bloke was in the pretending he was an opera singer . Bought a hot choc twas like water . I went back in to add milk. Still very week. Just tell the lad who was singing in high pitch song. I wont be returning to hear his sunset tone . Absolutely awful .

Absolutely shocking. Nearly an hour and a half late, 3 different uber drivers later and it was stone cold. Nuggets like rubber. No sauce no straws 2 missing items. Never ordering from there again

Ordered a double sausage a egg McMuffin meal on the app, but when it arrived in its sealed (so its not the drivers fault) bag the double sausage and egg McMuffin was missing.. how’s that possible?! Then when you try to ring up they don’t answer.

Visited at 7ish, restaurant was very quite. I ordered my breakfast on a kiosk but didn't get a receipt so I asked a young lady for a copy (she was very nice) but a young man(wearing a hoody) came put and barked 'what's the issue' at me! I was taken back by the abrupt response. I then received my receipt and food and left. I started to eat my rubbery egg muffin but the hash brown was inedible.. I did get a refund for the hash brown. After my experience there's no wonder its quite! I will never visit this one again.

Perfectly clean, i mean clean, a smartly dreesed lady was cleaning all the time, reminds me of Mc Donalds from 30 years ago, when as the saying goes you could eat your food off the floor, very impressed with this particular outlet.👍
