Gave her the code and she asked if wanted additional items added then the entire app order failed due to her messing with the till, despite payment already made in the app with the code shown in app. No, people use app order to avoid people messing around but hey someone will still find a way to do it.

I wouldn’t park here, took me a while to connect to the electric charger, sat and eat in McDonald’s and didn’t realise there is a 60 min max on parking £25 for a charge and a £60 -£100 fine for 18 minutes over, no signs on the charge station saying max time 60mins. Most expensive charge I have ever had. And McDonald’s customer service have refused to assist, never using a Mcds charger again.

Always receive less than I order when going through the drive thru. Ordered a meal, was asked what drink I like, I said Coke Zero, oh we have no sorry drinks we have everything else. So had to pay extra for a milkshake when I actually wanted and asked for a Coke Zero. Don’t see why I should pay more for them missing items that I wanted as part of the meal, should be substituted for no extra cost.

The customer service for visitors to counter or drive through is extremely poor. The branch obviously can not cope with the volume of delivery orders and have decided to #uck over their face to face customers as a result. There were only two vehicles in the queue and it still took 15 minutes from paying to serving. Very poor!

The facilities were awed up, there was no room to sit and staff refused to open up more seating area. The toilets were a disgrace and when staff were told the were extremely rude and walked off. Then the manager who was spoken to about all this dismissed all of our concerns and decided that she would not help and walked out of the restaurant . Overall the worst McDonald’s experience I have ever had.

Second time in a row items are missing from the delivery. No way of getting it redelivered and not a driver fault as the bags are sealed in store! I rang the store only to be told there was nothing they could do before hanging up the phone...paid for items not delivered, no matter how expensive should be honoured. Pointless walking down to complain now as by the time I'd get there the meal items correctly delivered would be stone cold, and so an entire new order would need to be cooked, not just the items missing. This is the least I will expect the next time I'm in store, that or a refund on the last two orders. Won't be ordering delivery from this store again for a while...

I've put my delivery orders on pause from this McDonald's because it's like playing a missing-items lottery, and I always seem to win! My boyfriend's burger? Always present and correct, though. But hey, they've got burgers with that classic McDonald's flavor, and the speed? Well, it's on par with a sloth on a leisurely stroll. But when the kitchen feels like a distant planet, you can't fault them for saving you from cooking calamities!

Decent food though quality varies depending on the time of day and how busy they are. Most staff are friendly and helpful though some more than others. Usually large crowds of high school children who will throw things and sometimes swear which employees seem to just allow despite other young children being in the building.

My family now call it the MCD food lottery what you ordered vs what you get when it turns up and you open the bag. I am sure i speak for all when i say refunding one of the meals you forgot to put in the bag makes NO difference when only 3/4 people at the table get fed... Just checked with mother in law to be sure and she is unable to eat £3.50 refund

I only went to charge my car (as an experiment), so I bought a toffee coffee thing and a skinny latte for the missis. Service was fairly swift (as you would expect). Coffee was immediately drinkable - which, in real terms, means it was not hot enough in the first place. I onyl bought it to pass the time whilst waiting for the car to charge. Meanwhile, the place was full of school kids hanging about, screaming, shouting, but not eating or drinking, which was unusual in a restaurant. Clearly, it's just a pick-up point for the rich kids waiting for parents. Just not a pleasant experience. I'll probably go to Rugby Services, pay more for charging and sit outside and listen to the traffic passing by on the M6, it'd be quieter 😂

Visit this Maccies often as I live reasonably close by. Its a great layout as it is a pretty new build. Service has been quite slow on my last few visits hence just 3 stars for service. The atmosphere is always good, sometimes a little crowded and loud but those busy times can be avoided.

Just ordered breakfast wrap meal, hash brown missing and the lady on the call sounded bore and like she couldn’t care less, despite clearly stating my order. I know it seems petty, but at this particular store this is the THIRD time in a row my order has been messed up. You need to get your act together and actually do your job, it’s not hard, and at least pretend to care, not answering the call without saying “thanks” and sounding completely disinterested. Terrible, terrible store which should just be closed.

I normally would go out to this place if i was hungry. The food is pretty good. I'd honestly say this place is better but the dirty tables and messed up BBQ and Ketchup dispensers are awful. Though i know this isn't the restaurant fault. 4/5 improvements can be made. The parking is also a mess sometimes yet it is quite kid-friendly.

I ordered £25 worth of breakfast meals for my family and half of the order was missing. I called McDonalds and the shocking manager on the phone said she packed her order herself and there was nothing wrong with it, pretty much called me a liar down the phone. Once I said I'd come back to the McDonald's to get my money back she proceeded to laugh and put the phone down. Definitely won't be ordering from here again and I will proceed to tell everyone of the awful service that I have received from McDonalds.

The staff are very rude, They do not know how to speak to the people, I had a bad experience with one member of staff and he was running the shift ( 30/12/2023). I don't know whether he is a manager or team leader, He was not wearing the visible name badge, and he is big and tall with a bigger tummy. He is always in an angry mood and doesn't know how to respect the people. He is not suitable for world-class brand name like Mcdonald services.

Main negative gripe was the out of date Galaxy pie. According to the sticker on it, it should have been binned the DAY BEFORE at 2:28PM! This is the second time I had bought a pie from McDonald's and had this experience. I took it to one of the team who appeared in charge, the team member took it and questioned me, saying it was made fresh. The team member then checked other such pies, and noted ALL the stickers were out of date. Another team member than started to frantically remove all the date stickers. Fortunately I was given another pie, as the team member had kept hold of it throughout. My original pie then joined the others and sat waiting for another customer. The team member flagged the settings in the machine must have been changed or tampered with. Either way sounded like a worry in a fast food restaurant, as who knows what else could have been tampered with... it also seemed an odd thing to say, as the clocks had already been changed several weeks ago? The team member then reassured me all unsold food is discarded each night. Check the dates on your food everyone, and flag any issues up to a member of staff 🙈.

They demolished Gala Bingo to erect this soulless husk in its place. There's no decoration or character, it's a brown box that low tier food comes from so don't expect much apart from kids vaping, litter in the car park and possible stomach cramp from the food.

The service is very bad. Today they forgot to add two cheeseburgers when ordering for takeout, I only noticed this problem at home. The staff is poorly trained, because they constantly confuse orders, bring something else, or even forget to bring it if you ordered by table number. I personally don't like Mc Ds I think the food is like cardboard and overpriced. However, my daughters and grandchildren do like Mc D's food. It's great to pick up a happy meal for the kids as a treat and their lattes are good. It always seems clean inside most of the time the staff are lovely and friendly. Just come back from festival. Everyone wanted food so we went through drive through. 3 big mac meals with toffee lattes... How hard is that. Waited and people serving apologised as traffic started to queue behind. Got home, only half mile.. Lattes like warm, burgers were not the best... Stick your food were the sun doesn't shine.

This place is never ready... never have breakfast menu food ready for breakfast and always ask you to go to a waiting space at the drive thru. Come here if you want to routinely waste ten minutes of your life, or if not, go to one of the two others in Rugby. UPDATE - I decided to pay another visit today, nearly a year later, to see if things have improved since the fiasco described in the first review above. Sadly things are no better and actually worse.... there are two drive thru ordering lanes here, so this time I sat in the right hand lane listening to a silent speaker waiting to order and counted three cars that arrived in the left hand lane after me having their orders taken & passing through in front of me. Again, my only recommendation for this McDonald's is to go there if you want to waste a few minutes of your life while they bumble through their chaotic disorganised process that simply falls way short of the McDonald's brand standards, and actually the fast food market service level in general found everywhere now.

My husband and I ordered our dinner from Evreux way, Rugby; after starting to eat my food, I saw that my double quarter pounder meal had blue plastic in between the patties; I pulled it out and saw there was even more between there. I contacted Evreux way, and they were no help, no apologies, and couldn’t give me any way to report this issue. Quite disappointed as this could be a good safety issue

The 1st floor is very pleasant but it's always closed after 8pm, even on Saturdays. On the ground floor there's only 3 or 4 tables to be used and are usually taken by the drivers that deliver the food.

twice in a row now we havent got all of our food delivered when ordering from everux way. the first time (despite being promised a refund THREE SEPARATE TIMES on half our order that just never turned up, and finding a short curly black hair in the food that actually did show up 🤢) we never got our £20 back, so had to give up after 2 months of calling. the second, we recieved a 3 piece chicken instead of a five, and NONE of the vegetarian food we ordered which means i cannot eat, especially since the uber customer service has been on hold for about 20 minutes (“we’re sorry for the unusually long wait time, please stay on the line” blah blah blah). not to be a karen but with all the other times everux way havent got our orders right, they are just taking money and not delivering the orders at this point, we’ve probably lost about £50-£60 in total, which with nowadays prices is a whole 4 person order 🙄🙄🙄 so much for quick and reliable service 👎 edit: we finally gave up calling uber and tried calling the restaurant itself, we called 5 times on two different phones and every time they hung up on us immediately after the call went through. appalling customer service

The Rugby McDonald's has never let me down. They're my go-to for cheap Friday night meals, and whether I order as a takeaway or walk in, there is never a long wait and the food is always hot. Thanks to all the reviewers. Reading all the reviews, I decided to drive past this one and stopped at the Kettering A509 Costa instead, just off the A19 in Corina road! That one's good with friendly staff. There are three Costa's in sight of each other here!!

Visited today, Sunday lunch time. Requested a roast turkey sandwich…no turkey left. Requested ham, egg & chips….no ham left. Ordered an Egg mayo sandwich and a tuna and cucumber sandwich, both served with a side salad and slaw. Sandwiches we arrived….no coleslaw….! £16 for 2 sandwiches…..pretty poor!

Order two pizzas and garlic bread cost over £28.00. Food was substandard tastless rubbish at restaurant prices. Will never order from hear again. Tesco next time or a decent pizza restaurant in Rugby
