The pizza was good but there's no way a large veggie pizza and 2 small bottles of water to be 30£ all together. He knew me and my friend were drunk and took advantage of that . Please be wary.

Upon entering the restaurant, our greeting by 4 small children, no customers and no background music should have prompted us to turn straight back around. However, we kept an open mind based on a pleasant previous experience and continued to sit at a table. We ordered 2 x lamb shawarma meals and 1 x lamb shawarma wrap and were informed that there will be a delay, since they had to start cooking a new shawarma because it had been so busy. That was fine…or so we thought. After over an hour without the usual gratuitous Turkish bread, we were presented with impressive portions…of donor kebab. Not fine. Once the issue was raised, the owner was eager to rectify the mistake, although informed us that they actually don’t sell lamb shawarma - only donor kebab with certain spices. In fact, “lamb shawarma” is displayed twice on the menu. Nevertheless, he replaced the donor meat with lamb shish and was keen to ensure that we were happy, bringing over free chips and providing fresh salad and rice. Throughout the meal, the young children came to our table multiple times, took one of our forks, repeatedly attempted to open the main doors and even wandered into the kitchen area. There was little attempt to keep them away from the potential dangers of this environment or to stop their screams when their smart phones were taken away. Our bill almost reached £70 for 3 single courses and 2 beers, which took 2 hours to serve! This establishment needs serious assistance and is not safe to continue operating.

Please learn from our mistake and avoid this place at all costs. Over a year ago we stopped at this restaurant for a quick bite and it was surprisingly good. This time was a completely different experience. It was all nee staff so I guess the restaurant has changed hands. There were no customers when we arrived but the staffs 4 very young children were in the restaurant. We decided to order 2 lamb shawarmas and a moussaka. It was a male who took our order. Then a female took over and announced that they had had a busy day and moussaka was not available. We went for 3 lamb shawarma with rice and one lamb shawarma wrap. The lady then explained that tbey had also sold out if shawarma so she was going to make one from scratch just for us. It will take a little time she explained, possibly 40 minutes. We had stopped off for a journey break so this was not so much of a problem for us. After more than an hour of watching the 4 little ones running a muck in and out of the kitchen and playing by the entrance door our food arrived. It was plain to see for anyone that she had rustled us up some lamb Doner kebabs. We called the lady over and explained that there was a mistake. Another guy who we had not seen previously attended and firstly blamed the mistake on a language barrier. He the went on to say that they don’t have lamb shwarma on the menu. When I pointed it out on the menu in 2 different sections he back peddled and offered to make us a lamb Shish instead. After almost 2 hours a very dry, overcooked trio of lamb shish pieces arrived. The guy was apologetic and had generously served us some “free” reheated chips whilst we waited. We are some but left a lot and asked for the bill. Very nearly £70! This was certainly in the top few of the worst dining experiences ever. If you are reading this Mr. Owner I beg you to take action and ensure that the poor children are not allowed into the kitchen area. It’s a very grave accident just waiting to happen. I could go on to give further advice but my number one concern is that one of these babies could become burned and scarred for life. Please sort this mess out asap

Owner was rude and my pizza tasted of cinnamon when it was a meat feast

Walked in, great looking kebab shop, friendly owner, didn't expect the kebab to be as tasty as it was, I hate grease on mine and wasn't greasy at all! Loads of salad and his home made chilli sauce was superb! I thought I would go with a small 7" pizza as well which only cost £4.00, That was a crispy cheesy saucy pizza! Abertillery in South Wales missed out on a good kebab shop!!! See you again

Food was quite decent back when I had it but heard some bad things about the ownership. I shall not return to this place. Better options around

Excellent service and outstanding food! Efes in Rugby offers a wide selection of delicious, fresh ingredients. As a kebab lover, I can confidently say that Efes is the best spot in town. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

So we ordered a mixed kebab (£17.00) came which ended up coming with a small Handful of chips, no rice (as stated on the menu) and a small portion of meat for the price. Was tasty enough but £17.00 is stupid.

Amazing everytime! Efes Grill serve the most delicious fresh chicken wings served to your taste. There is a vast range of main and side dishes too, all of which is cooked fresh to order. Fantastic location at the heart of Rugby town just outside the Rugby clock tower. Speedy service. Great food attentative staff. Perfect all the way 🙂🍗 👌🏻

Great good and good atmosphere. We had the mixed grill was great. Hummus was amazing.

Don’t go to this place food is terrible and cold and I ate in so delivery not necessary. I asked for a refund within two minutes of food being served and manager gave me a full refund as he also knew it was disgusting.

Took out a bbq. Food was really good but very expensive.

Terrible service, I don’t recommend to anyone. Save your money!! They don’t listen to simple instructions at all, stale food and off meat. And they will try to scam you any chance they get.

I love this restaurant the food is impeccable and the service is always on point. I highly recommend anyone in Rugby and surrounding areas to come and eat here! The food is finger licking good !

Do not order from her ? Ordered through Just Eat, waited 1hr, called and was told he was busy and could not deliver ( although I had ordered on line with Just Eat and had a delivery time of 20mis). After 30mins I called and was told they could not deliver an to request a refund,

Always call in on after a few beers in town and service is always great, food is always perfect and portion sizes are very good too

Worst dinner of my life. These many red and green chilli's without even asking. The pizza clearly had ingredients with no chilli and at the end we got more chilli's in the pizza than cheese itself. The owner was having sheesha (smoke) sitting next to the counter which gave us suffocation and we had toddlers with us. Awful experience.

Owner asks me to pay cash over card, I oblige only to then be undercharged on my receipt whilst short changing me. Definitely tax dodging. The food itself was dry and disappointing, the bread was the best part. Upon entry a police officer was interviewing the manager, that probably should've been my red flag to walk out the door right then and there. No wonder these guys are having issues AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS

Hi. Be careful when you are drunk. I went to this fast food after club night around 2:30am. We ordee food. Guy notice we are drunk. My friend pay by card and get notice on his phone that this payment has been accepted, but the guy said the payment didnt go through. My friend showed him that, the payment goes through. But he said its just pending and he need to pay again. We was drunk and we thought he is right so my friend made a payment again. Next day we realise what heppened. He scam us. I do not recommend this fast food to enyone. Check your statement next day if you were there drunk!

Really good kebab! We had the chicken on and it Transported us to Turkey. Really flavourful. Highly recommend.

Bland, tastless, unseasonal food. Chicken kebab tasted like fish for a few bites, after just bland and tasteless. Rice that comes with meal again bland. Chicken shish kebab had some flavour but missing rice from the meal. Cheese and chips just awful cheap chips cheap cheese. Spent £26 on overpriced underwhelming food. In addition for some reason people were given their orders sitting in the establishment before us even though we had ordered before. Total waste of money and time going. Feels very much like they are trying to be something they are not. Will not return.

Very nice food for the price. Came in with wife and owner gave us some info on our travels to Trukey. The Turkish tea here is delicious as well. There was a rude customer in the shop and the owner was very patient with him!

Came here few times and will keep coming. The owner/chef is happy to cook something off menu if you have any special requirements, no problem at all. Prices are good and the quality of food is great! Just like in Turkey! The best is, that in the sea of fish and chips and pseudo kebaps all aroud, this reastaurant is trully authentic turkish with authentic turkish food and authentic taste. The only thing is that owner's here alone so there's a bit of a wait before you get your order.

Ordered Turkish chicken pizza, chicken shish kebab, chunky chips and coleslaw. Server rather insistent that I pay in cash. Clearly disappointed that I didn't have the full amount so the balance had to go onto card. After 20 minutes the "waiter" asked if I wanted a sausage pizza. Errr, no. I'll have the chicken I ordered, thanks. Took 50 minutes in total. Server was rude and aggressive when we complained about the wait. Other customers waited even longer. Wrong chips and no coleslaw when we got home. Appalling. Also only has a 1 Hygiene rating. 🤮

Really disappointed in this restaurant. When I went the service was quite slow. We ordered lamb chops, but what we received was definitely not a lamb chop but several pieces of lamb that were butterflied and grilled. When I commented that these were not lamb chops, I was offered to receive proper lamb chops. Needless to say that I denied.
