McDonalds in Tendring

My daughter ordered via Uber 5 McDonalds meal deals cost 53 pounds. When it turned up there were no chips. She called Harwich McDonalds and they said you ordered through Uber we can’t do anything. Not impressed this is not good customer service.

Waited ages for burgers and they were barely warm, meanwhile the coffees were getting cold. This was on the drive through where quick service is expected. No surprised you only have 2 stars as this is the worst Macaadonalds I've experienced across the country - shambolic, often surly service. A waste of money.

Why are the coffees so small - the paper cups are only 3/4 full. What a swizz! Surely the cups should be full. especially after they put the prices up.

Ordered on a Sunday they accepted our order had to wait an hour before calling for them to tell me that there's no delivery drivers about so had no dinner Sunday then Monday ordered food and some of my food was missing tried calling for an hour for them to ignore me the spent £10 on a taxi to go down there and they wasn't even busy then got some food back and they wasn't even apologetic it's disgusting I should of got a refund or more free food it's horrible won't be going back 😡😡😡😡😡

One of the workers called me big and I’m not ok with that because I struggle with my body weight. And that has made me feel unworthy.

The waiting time in this Mcdonalds is beyond ridiculous! Every single time you have to wait 5/10 minutes for a single meal. Orders constantly incorrect too. i've had this on multiple occasions.

I would just like to start by saying an enormous thank you to the staff of this McDonald's restaurant, we were involved in a car crash just outside of the restaurant this morning and the staff were simply amazing in helping us in an emergency situation. Your help and assistance was really appreciated by myself, my husband and our three teenagers. Thank you for allowing us to use your facilities, providing us a safe and calm environment whilst awaiting recovery for our vehicle. The food was also brilliant, and the coffee was most appreciated! I would like to thank the lady who assisted us straight after the car crash (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) you were so calming and comforting towards us, thank you! We would visit again, hopefully minus a car crash!

My husband and I have just had a take away Big Mac from McDonald’s Harwich when did they stop putting in the special Big Mac sauce? This had none and was so dry boring and bland it was inedible.

the manager Conner Eades needs retraining in customer service. I ordered two double cheese burgers no pickle. What do I get two double cheeseburgers with pickle. This was using the drive through, so as I pulled out was travelling down the road, I notice the pickle, drove back asked for my money back and both burgers free of charge for their mistake and me being inconvenienced having to return and waiting to be served again. The manger informed me that wasn't going to happen. Next time you mess up an order, you should do this "sorry sir, this ones on us" its good customer service and guarantees my return. The manager went on to complain to me that if it were a suit I just bought he wouldn't return my cash, at the point I realised I was dealing with a fool and left. I wont be using Mc Donald's anymore. Do they care? No course they don't.

Ordered for collection at drive through, supposedly had to wait for the food to cook only to find on receiving the food instead of having 3 large portions of fries there was barely enough for 1 portion. The Big Macs had just been chucked in the box the bacon was nearly raw and the whole lot was stone cold. Contacted customer services over the next three days for them to agree and issue a refund. Instead of getting a full refund of £47 I was issued a voucher for a free medium meal. What a joke

Don't go here this restaurant needs to be closed staff either dismissed or re trained to a standard where they can at least grt half the orders they take correct. At the moment 9 out of 10 are wrong this is actually ridiculous a circus would be an insult to circuses

I am not sure what has happened here, but now this must be the worst McDonalds in the country. For the last 2 weeks, you can't pay at the self service. If you try and get table service you can't. Tonight, we ordered a apple pie, which never materialised. After disturbing the 'duty manager' I was able to get a refund. The staff, seem to be on a jolly. My guess is that the manager has left. After eating here for the last 2 years, and seeing how the standards have dropped over night, I would suggest in eating elsewhere. What a welcome to the UK. A total shambles. Whoever has this franchise should please take a visit. You are gong to loose a lot of money. I would totally not visit this venue. until a real Manager is in place. Really sorry I have had to give a bad review, but this restaurant is now awful :(

My misses ordered a breakfast for herself and myself and when the order turned up it was the wrong order. She rang them up to let them know the wrong order was delivered and they said they would look it and get the correct order delivered. 30 minutes later she rang them up again and they said that the order was not going to be delivered but costumer service should have issued a refund. My misses so unhappy with this level of service to the point she will not be ordering or going to this branch again

Absolutely filthy place .tables were embedded with dirt in the corners ..food is vile . Staff could do with a good wash .will never return .

I called at the drive through to order from the breakfast menu. Only to be told: we finished breakfast 25 seconds ago. This is the first Mc D’s that has finished on the dot of 10:30 that I’ve ecoetienced. Usually they are still serving in other places for up to 10 minutes after. Message to the Manager: get your act together and be more flexible as you’ve only been open 10 weeks.
