McDonald's in South Cambridgeshire

Visited to have breakfast with a friend before a Duxford Event. Nice casual breakfast and catch up with a friend I have not seen for a while. Food as per Macdonalds and okay….toilets not cleaned but the main issue was a £100 parking fine!!!!!!!!! Never visiting again when you can’t sit down and relax for breakfast. Apparently I was 11 mins over the 60!!!!! Minute allowance….

Called in on way home from Stansted airport as we needed a quick snack. Service not too bad for McDonalds but filet of fish meals were only lukewarm. Toilets were filthy. Ate quickly and left as we didn't want the car to get damaged on their car park due to the idiotic way some people were driving. Would only stop here again in desperation.

I went into the McDonald to order a McFlurry and a drink and it was busy and I want 20 mins just for ice cream and drink and I could see my order on the side and no one giving people there food and other people waited 20 mins as well it was disgusting and disappointing and the drinks are always flat all the time and I went up to the till and said it is a joke I have waited so long and they didn’t even apologise for me waiting the customer service is terrible they all so grumpy because people are complaining about the wait but people shouldn’t wait that long it is meant to be fast food not slow food and when I received my ice cream there was nothing in it it was all melted and then I sent it back they did they have run out of the McFlurry I wanted and they still didn’t apologise or anything it is a joke and they didn’t even give me a straw for my drink how do they think I am meant to be drink and mangers are grumpy as well they are meant to have good customer service Someone needs get this place sorted out asp

This is the worst McDonald’s I have ever been in. The restaurant area was dirty and messy, the ladies toilets were disgusting - broken, smelly and lacking in provisions. The staff were stressed and swearing in front of customers. Our order took over 30 minutes eating in. By the time we received our food, the fries were stone cold. Staff did exchange these for fresh ones when I complained. Total chaos and very uninviting. Most McDonald’s are kept clean and hygienic but this was awful. I suspect the team were understaffed so provide more staff please McDonald’s!! Luckily we were only passing through so won’t be revisiting.

Went to the McDonald’s on the way back home and we ordered two things. They got both of them wrong and gave us the wrong items. The service was terrible and the woman who answered the phone sounded like she didn’t even want to be there and was rather rude.

We arrived at McDonald’s wanting very basic items. Inc 2 cheese burgers and some tap water. We were told that they will not provide tap water as their machine is broken. They refused to give us bottled water claiming they were “out of stock” despite driving past and seeing they have stock of bottled water. Their suggestion was to “buy some coke” instead. My gf can not drink anything fizzy, and so was forced to pay £2 for a an orange juice which has badly upset her stomach. Very unhappy. You’re a big firm and you can’t legally be allowed to open if you do not have running water- find an alternative. It’s not good enough.

Me and my Partner came in over the weekend for a quick and easy dinner, however this was the one of the worst meals that we've had at this particular branch. The night that we went they had no supply of certain foods, however we overlooked this as we could still get the meals that we wanted. The time waiting for the food was okay which was a lovely change, however it went downhill from here. The chips were flavourless and were slightly cold and when my partner was halfway into his burger, he pulled out a long hair which was imbeded in the meat! My partner did go back into the store and the staff were extremely apologetic and gave us a refund for our entire meal and an offer of more food, however we declined this offer as we were put off our meals. Unfortunately, we will not be returning back to this branch again.

Friendly staff. Food left to sit too long on tray in food area whilst all items were added. Consequently barely warm. This is it not acceptable. Fillet O Fish has shrunk in portion size considerably from the one I recently had at another location or this restaurant are using a different product!!!?? The latte is very bitter! I always forget that! I wish this product could be changed. Just needed hot food with no problems after latter part of my day. Why are McDonald’s still using cutlery where forks bend when you attempt to cut the salad in a box!!!! Overall for me was very disappointing experience !!! One I’m not sure I want to repeat anytime soon! Been using McDonald’s since Woolwich store opened here in U.K. in 1974. After last nights experience I will definitely think twice!!!! Is this the shape of things to come!!!???

I can’t say how amazed I’m with the service provided by this very lovely lady “Jo “at sawston Mc Donald’s , I always enjoy visiting this restaurant and it is such a delight just seeing Jo at that place , if someone is reading this from McDonald’s that lovely lady do deserve a raise !! What a lovely and hardworking women !!

I am a coach driver, I pulled in there with a coach full of passengers (53) As a coach driver some McDonald’s Will give you a free coffee, sometimes even a meal for bringing them business. When I asked this manager if I was able to have a free coffee as I’ve just brought 53 people in the big fat old fella said NO with an attitude!!! I will not be taking my coach passengers to that place again and I suggest all Coach Driver‘s take their passengers / business elsewhere, as I feel they are rude. They could’ve just said no sorry we don’t do that. It’s the ATTITUDE that gets my back up.

Possibly the worst McDonalds in the UK. Poor quality food, slow service and inept customer service. Add to that the poorly designed car park and entrance / exit. One to avoid.

Disgusting food and poor services , complained to a member of staff amd just got a blank smerk. Needless to say I won’t be going into this branch again .

Food was hot & quick , very nice customer service from Jo who was pleasant and had a lovely conversation with us.

Went there after a long day/night for some food. Food was lovely and hot, we went at 1am so food arrived quick. Although service was questionable, the man on the till was in a white jumper and went on his phone when waiting for food to be prepared which comes across completely unprofessional. Also, when receiving the drinks in the cup holder we were told “be careful they’re a bit sh*t” - no help in getting us new cup holders which were fit for purpose and completely through by how the man thought that language was acceptable. Don’t understand how you can give out something you know is broken!

We called into this restaurant after my teenage daughter amd myself had traveled back from Sheffield and she was complaining of being hungry and couldn’t wait until we got home to eat so we ended up here , ordered our food , my drink was like brown water not coke so I exchanged that for another (slightly better ) my burger was the worst food I’ve ever eaten it was cold and like burnt rubber and actually disgusting but was so hungry just eat most and binned the rest , desperate to just get home I explained to staff before I left about the food to which I may as well have told the brick wall ! Certainly won’t be returning here .

Looked online before living out to go to whittlesford MC Donald's as its just over an hour away drive from where I work when getting there the drive thru was closed so parked up only to get to the door and they have closed all lights on staff in there it's meant to be 24hr open not open and close when they feel like it I had gone out my way they lost a big order as it was also for night shift people

Never any milkshakes or ice cream. Asked to go wait in a bay for a coffee honestly the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to and unfortunately I live near it. Happens alot

Went for a family meetup, stayed 81 mins and received a £60 parking fine. I will not be going back. Absolutely disgusting way to treat costumers.

Went for a treat with the kids for tea on a Friday Evening. Queuing for parking, absolutely heaving with people, self serve machine unable to print receipts, slow service and then to get stung for being there over time £100 fine! Will not be returning !

Used to have everything and now have nothing, always being put in a bay for a singular cheeseburger. Sort your McFlurry machine out.

I only popped in for a quick coffee. Nothing more and really wouldn't bother again. Coffee was OK and reasonably priced, but the facilities a poor. Toilet cubicles with no hook for a jacket? Really? Will find somewhere else next time.

This is not a joke, 5pm on a Monday and they are out of burgers. Not even an apology or alternative offered. Absolute idiots, the manager should be fired for incompetence!
