McDonald's in Uttlesford

Was eating my Big Mac and one the senior Managers started to killing flies with his electric racket and joking to his colleagues!! He was enjoying it! Not pleased at all with is attitude ! This is a food premise! McDonald’s Bridgwater

Mc Donald’s should be ashamed of them selves. Took my family after picking them up from airport at 10.20 pm for 26 minutes and have received parking ticket for £100. Won’t even accept my receipt as proof. Will not visit any Mc Donald’s again as they are not resolving this money grab from a parking company

Visted on Tuesday the 13th Food was fast and hot restaurant was being keep lovely clean by a single lad a trainee. Would recommend greatly only downside is parking is limited to an hour.

McDonald’s car park was heaving so parked other end near Starbucks, do not park here, I got a £100 fine for 21minutes, absolutely disgusting.

Their car park says 60 minutes free . you will get patking ticket if you park and don't n Feel to ear or change your mind not to eat. No eating from mac anymore.

Came early hours of morning after a flight and there was someone standing at the back doors jnto restaurant smoking cannabis. When going through the drive through the smell then got into the car.. and they forgot half of my order!! Not sure what tests they have to pass to be employed on the night shift but I would presume none lol

Store not open 24 hours as listing says. App was still open for orders despite doors being closed and drive thru also closed.

Don’t get caught out when you head there after 8pm. Car park is always packed of vehicles waiting to collect passengers from the airport and not even making any purchases. So the drive thru queue when I visited McDonald’s on 2 occasions within 3 weeks of going away for 2 short breaks was over flowing into the road , so I went straight ahead and parked my car on both occasions in the carpark straight ahead think this was just an over flow car park as a van ( strangely there on both occasions) was parked in there and a few cars . It seems that this carpark is for Starbucks customers only and when Starbucks is closed you are not allowed to park there . I received 2 x £60 fines for parking there while walking in and then eating in the car , total parked time was 20mins . If you search this on the web it has been an on going issue and multiple people have been caught out due to deceiving signage as you drive in . On both occasions i visited after midnight after spending half a day travelling and its not fair that two large global companies let a company called Euro Garages enforce the parking restrictions to make money out of legitimate paying customers. So please all be aware as there are making more money on fines than than probably Starbucks does when open up to 8pm as when I was parked multiple cars where in the car or driving in while I was there and that was just 20 minutes while I was parked. Why isn’t a barrier of some sort placed across the carpark when Starbucks closes , the building are 4m apart, absolutely ridiculous. Both Starbucks and McDonald’s know about this and do nothing about so they are scammers/cheats just like Euro Garages , it’s cost £145 to get 4 meals from McDonald’s, wont happen again as Burger King are soon to open a drive thru and will make it point to gib there every time I return from my holidays . I also wrote to both parties and they said contact Euro Garages which is a waste of time . Ps also on both occasions they had not milkshakes plus the burgers where cold !!!

I visited on the 17th March at 11.58 pm. One of the staff members bagging up the food was picking his ear with his finger. He then began biting his finger. Immediately after that another staff member standing opposite him bagging up the drive through orders, not wearing a hat started rubbing his hair, he then ran his open hand downwards along his face and rubbed his mouth with the palm of his hand.

Discusting!! Fillet of fish cold & burnt & stuck to box, my grandson double burger, was only 1 burger. My daughters chicken fillet was cold, and nap burnt. Drinks had so much ice than drink. Not happy😡😡Order was £18 and a waste of money

Only stopped as passing. Sarcasm and trying to enforce your ego isn't a strong skill in customer services. You don't know who you're speaking to and serving. If you're not happy in your role and in serving customers, change. Just serve me a cheap burger courteously and everything will be just fine.

Whilst on a work trip, I attended this particular branch of Mc Donald’s, on this night I was staying at the new premier inn where I found the night staff to be delightful! On my return from an evenings work I found my self rather hungry. So I decided to take the short walk across to Mc Donald’s... this is where I went wrong!!!! When I arrived I was abruptly told I wasn’t in the right vehicle to attend this branch, I explain to the manager my own personal vehicle was only in the next parking allotment, but I’d appreciate it if I could order- instead of walking back to the hotel and then driving back the 100 meters. But he insisted. I found him very rude and uncourteous and whilst trying to put my order in via the window I was treated very in favourably! As a life long lover and supporter I plead that this branch have some kind of intervention to keep the Mc Donald reputation as it should be...Yours sincerely An Avid McDonald’s Patron Ps...When I received my 2 boxes of chicken nuggets, one only contained 17 and the other 18...This is much testament to how this establishment is being run

We had a terrible experience today in the drive through. Managed to order quickly but then after paying was given our drinks and asked to wait in the car park.Our order turned up in 2 bags with our number plate on it.We drove home and the Double Big Mac and the Christmas Doughnut were missing.Tried to call to complain but nobody could be bothered to answer the phone.No idea how to complain further.Avoid this franchise if possible.

Terrible customer service. Unfortunately this is my most local McDonald’s and in all the times I have ordered takeaway from there never once has it been right. I always have to check the bag before I leave the drive through to see which item I have paid for and not received. The manager Dan is a very nice and understanding guy and even delivered me the missing items from my order on one occasion which is going above and beyond on his part. It is just a share the rest of the team let him down. On today’s visit I was served by Shaun. When I went to pay he informed me that they didn’t accept Scottish bank notes and asked if I had a different note. I swapped the note but asked why this was the case as it is legal tender to have Shaun shut the window in my face!!

Would give you no stars, orders a big Mac meal no pickles and guess what there Pickles!! And I'm allergic to them and specifically told them I'm allergic to pickles, and thanks to them I had a allergic reaction because of this, phones up and manager laughed and put the phone down, don't know why they still running because the food is crap tasted like 3 day old burger dry and no flavour People don't listen or Evan check there orders, manager was rude didn't give two craps about customer service. Never again avoid at all cost

Not sure if they are just having a bad time with staff during Convid, or they just don't care. Wrong item in order, missing number of items in order. Needs a management visit me thinks.

Drove in and ordered a large quarter pounder with cheese meal and 5 chicken selects, paid £10 and got given a large coke and a small chips and 6 chicken nuggets. Only 2 cars in the entire drive thru, absolutely unbelievable!

They've put in a lot of thought into how to be COVID-19 safe. We were greeted by a member of staff who led us through the new process, in a helpful and informative way, without being officious or dictatorial. We had to wear masks while ordering on the electronic boards, but could take them off when we sat down to eat. Every other table was out of service to maintain social distancing. Food was delivered to the adjacent (out of service) table and we were asked to leave the detritus on the table - no self-clearing. And the breakfast food was good too.

Heard that the McDonald's in Stansted Airport had reopened and as I need to drive there for work, I thought I would combine the trips. Amazingly there was no lengthy queue and around 3 or 4 cars in front of me. I ordered Big Mac meal and the fries were hot and crispy and the burger made perfecftly that actually resembled the photo. What a shame that the coke let the meal down by having absolutely no fizz whatsoever. Obviously whoever was on the drinks station hadn't spotted that none of the drinks had a fizz. Would have got five stars had it not been for the poor drink. Disappointing.

Every time I go here now they make you wait for your food in the car park after ordering. What is the point of a drive thru!! Ridiculous.

Chicken wrap what meat there was, was tough, stringy and cold it was badly put together the fries were also cold and chicken nuggets were soggy it was organised chaos and last time we use this one.

Very good quick service pleasant staff food was hot space to eat in clean and tidy would recommend this more so than Burgerking in the Airport ....

As if McDonalds hadn't endured enough bad press over the years, they now partner with the loathsome MET Parking who con visitors to the restaurant out of £60. Disgusting! Simply will never visit a McDonalds restaurant again.

Wow after attempting to order through the drive thru six times the idiot on the mic still couldn't get a simple order right. We got to the window and it was still wrong. The man was rude and banging the till when we said he got it wrong AGAIN. We asked to speak to the manager who sorted our order whilst mouthing he doesn't know what the member of staff was doing. We was then parked for basic meals and no apologise offered. Friends that were behind us received the wrong order after being parked and having to wait for food. I think this may actually be the worst McDonald's ever!!! Avoid go to the next closest McDonald's if you have too.

The food was OK, nothing special, but 5 weeks later a letter came from MET parking saying you owe £100 or £60 if you pay straight away for parking in the wrong car park. Basically, if you park in Starbucks car park and they watch you on CCTV go to McDonalds you lose your money. It is not clearly signposted and you would assume that it would be similar to any other Motorway style service station it's not. Also, note MET operates both Starbucks and McDonalds carparks there. Daylight robbery.

AVOID THIS MCDONALD'S. Visiting this restaurant could make your burger rather more expensive than expected. The poorly signed parking restrictions here can make popping in for a quick meal an expensive mistake. Park in the wrong place and your likely to end up with a rather nasty surprise! And, I don't mean the one in your Happy Meal. A £60 fine in the post 6 weeks later. Take my advice, use the restaurants at Birchanger Services just off the M11 Roundabout instead. McDonald's and Starbucks need to step up and stop their customers being systematically ripped off by MET Parking Services.

Mcdonalds and starbucks are 2 different car parks it turns out even though there is only 1 entrance to the car park. What absolute BS. Park in Starbucks and go to Mcdonalds and fined 100£ even though they are right next to each other with no site boundary. SCAM SCAM SCAM how could Mcdonalds and Starbucks let their customers be treated like that

Staying at nearby PremierInn before an early morning flight, the only option was here as the waiting time in the hotel was ridiculous. So with only a 2 minute walk away we had 2 meal deals, 1 large chocolate shake and a medium 1, 1 large Big Mac meal, 1 Alabama meal , both with fries. All this for £12.78, so excellent value and to us tasted good and filled a hole.

Awful service, food order comply wrong!! I’d suggest going straight past this McDonald’s and waiting till the next one! Should replace with a specsavers

came here sunday may 19 for breakfast all staff chatting to each other and yes I then got served after a few mins then saw my food which I ordered waiting on the side where it came to me cold which I informed them to change it .I then had to ask a member of staff I would like to pay at the till after few mins waiting till they stopped chatting to each other .tables all had food etc on them and had not been cleaned .food was very greasy and ask to see the manager but said he was busy all I can say it needs better customer serve

Hi all today i was witness of very bad stuff service in this McDonald's. One disabled women on wheelchair was asking for assistance to a stuff member and get completely ignored until my friend interfere and get her help. Thats was really bad experience as this womene wasent only paralysed but hade difrent problems. Sorry but this kind of service is just awful.

Went for a breakfast at McDonald's after dropping my parents off at the airport. A nice sausage and egg McMuffin meal which was a decent quality but for my coke they had given me a bit of paper to drink with. I am in disgust as I had to drive home not with a refreshment but a soggy, floppy straw.

As a McDonald’s meal goes, this was acceptable. It was well needed after a day of travelling to get to the Holiday Inn Express at Stansted Airport.

Never again, McDonald’s going down the hill, soggy chips, greesy, horrible for that money. Not good. Kids wasn’t happy at all with oily hands. Where is them good crispy chips??

E niente, ci sono ricaduta, complice la vicinanza al nostro hotel, l'ora tarda per trovare altro e l'avere un minore con noi. Pur avendo ordinato il "meno peggio" del menù (insalata mista, frutta e bibita) sono uscita con la fame e la solita sensazione di aver mangiato degli scarti. Mai più.

Food isn’t too bad here but I wish the management would stop all the taxis parking and blocking up the car park. Quite frankly ridiculous

Stopped on way back after golf, parking is joke and no space, or trying to get other parking you have to join drive through line.

We went to this Macdonalds on the request of our young kids who like the free toy. Parking was ok if a little tight. Great to have the option to sit outside but all the tables were dirty and a member of staff was smoking just next to our table - there is only two tables for four, so we could not easily move. The kids did not like their cheese burger due to the extras but milkshakes were a success.

Turned up here in need of a quick tea only to find the car park full of people or taxi drivers sitting in their cars waiting for their customers, friends or families flights to come in! Ridiculous. Most had no intention of visiting McDonalds which made parking an ordeal to start with.

We popped in for a snack as we were passing, and it was as good as any other McDonalds. The problem is that it is near to the airport and cars use the car park to wait for their loved ones to arrive by plane. This explains the fine system, and why people get caught with a fine. None of this bothered me, I just had my snack and left.

stung by their parking scam. £100 pound fine with no appeal process as 28 days had passed, which was incorrect. spoke to the manageress, who was as useful as a chocolate fireguard. we were a regular customer but not anymore, zero customer care and loyalty, well done mcdonalds

Incredibly rude and snobbish staff, especially the managers. Questioned why they were the only McDonald's to charge for extra mayo and just got very insulting manager looking down her nose at me. They over charge anyway so this was a real extra kick in the teeth. Avoid this franchise!

Turns out it is not the same premises and if you park there and walk to the McDonalds it is deemed as leaving the premises and you get a fine of £60. Signs are tiny and a clear money spinner

If you're hungry near the airport, don't waste money at the other venues offering over priced seriously lacking food. Just go here, it's not a miraculous McDonald's but the service is quick and you know what to expect and what you are going to get.

I would like to thank Michaella Hildreth who went above and beyond the call of duty yesterday. We were stuck at Stansted Airport, and our friend was waiting at Macdonalds Stansted for us to ring him to come and collect us.

Macdonalds at Stansted airport is ideally located and easy to get to. You can either go through the drive thru or go into the restaurant to take the food away or sit in and eat. It is always kept nice and clean. The staff are well trained in being well efficient and polite to customers

The McDonald's at Stansted airport offers a restaurant to go and sit in to eat or a drive through if you are in a hurry and want to eat on the go. As all McDonald's the food is good, the service is fast
