McDonald's in Daventry

Asked for a triple cheese burger PLAIN. YET ONIONS ON ALL THE BURGERS. In the cheese so not able to eat. Chips were alright.

Useless No ketchup, asked staff who ignored us, asked server who said they have none. We said surely you do as you have put it on our food. Wasn’t happy supplying ketchup or milk for my tea.

Despite it being busy my food was ready quickly. The manager was polite and had it well organised. A pleasant surprise. Tables were cleared and staff were friendly.

Sam went above and beyond for my boyfriend and I when our order number was lost. Credit to him for taking the time to help us. Food was super speedy and the fries were hot and well salted, unlike most McDonald’s!

This is a really useful mcdonalds as it is the only one we have found OPEN on a friday night in 60 miles from Sheffield down the M1. However, it is cursed. We have been here 3 times in the past 6 or so months and each time has been awful. The first time, we waiting 25 minutes for our food. The second time was also bad. This third time was equally bad and i dont have any other word to describe it. Just bad. Also there was no mcplant for my veggie bro that im with, matt. Food was good though for those of us who managed to eat

The service at the McDonalds was so slow, the food was disgusting, the cutlery can’t cut through anything, and initially we got no cutlery had to go ask. They didn’t have anyone manning the till. The individual not in uniform with long hair wasn’t wearing a hairnet but was handling food.

Thank you for all the staff for their great & reasonably priced food for a service station. Unfortunately the service was very very slow, which appeared to be a lack of staff.

Disgusting food, staff with a couldnt care less attitude. Bins full of rubbish even though it was quiet!

Absolutely terrible - don’t bother looking at opening times, because they certainly don’t! Walked in at 10:50pm when they close at 11pm and the staff were putting a barrier across saying “closed”. They didn’t care that 3 customers were trying to buy food. Now we are hungry for hot food and have to travel further on our journey for the sake of a couple of minutes. Not impressed, poor service.

System problem Stood there like a mug as numbers way after mine came out Complained Somehow I’d paid but wasn’t on their kitchen list??? Poor Staff hapless

Food was lovely, fresh and hot, some items were unavailable but thats across the country sp to be expected . They had someone cleaning tables etc all the time we were there .

First visit here, Social distance well maintained, Few tables for eating, All food hot and fresh, Staff friendly and polite.

Miserable staff barking orders at customers without smile or any human courtesy. No customer service at all. Ended up being a truly depressing experience not to be repeated. Food warm at best and latte half a cup???

Ordered 2 Big Macs on separate occasions. Why oh why can't a burger restaurant serve food hot...both times sent their food back. won't go again ..cant be bothered with the hassle

Visited whilst having a ‘motorway stop’. Restaurant was really busy but staff coped well and service was good. Food was OK. Facilities were clean and tidy too. No complaints.

A burger company who take 20 mins to make a burger!!!!!!!! On way home from business appmnt, need convenience, and they give you the stark opposite.

A quick stop of for yes fast food. All the order machines were busy so I just went to the counter on the right hand side and was served immediately by a nice young Man. This was good as I always go for a plain cheeseburger so it’s more easy than the order board.

Fast self service machines like you find in Argos. My receipt failed to print which was a little confusing but the staff sorted it out without much of a problem. Decent fresh food by McDonald’s standards.

The only reason im giving two stars rather than one was that the girl who served us was smiley, pleasant and helpful.That said..... we've been twice in the last few months and both times part of the order didn't make it into the bag and this time, when it was noticed (by us) and flung in (by them), it was wrong anyway.Cut to the boychild biting into a burger full of lits of things he absolutely hates! Fortunately not into things he is allergic to or anything but still stuff that makes him lose his mind and deafen us.Back I went and in fairness, they did fix their error. Wasn't busy - we were the only ones there. Just all seems a bit haphazard and as if nobody gives a monkey's. Shame really, not somewhere we eat as a rule but it's quick on journeys. Doesn't make us want to return.

Whoever the Manager was on Duty at the McDonald’s Northbound Watford Gap Services, M1 Time 20:30 16-11-18, She should be complimented on how she dealt with customers, professional, extremely calm and organised. A total credit to McDonald’s and I would imagine anybody who knows her, and well turned out... I should of made a note of her name...

You know what to expect from a McDonalds. That way, you will not be disappointed. This is in the M1 northbound service station.Price was not overly inflated being at a service station. You order using one of those electronic boards. Food did not take long to arrive. It was actually quite good when you compare to other McDonalds.Good place to grab a quick bite and break up the journey.

Visited whilst going from Luton to Grimsby. Food hot, correct and tasty. No issues with cleanliness either

We stopped off to use the facilities at the service station and decided to get a bite to eat during our long journey the other Saturday. We decided on McDonalds as the staff were efficient and we wanted to use a recognisable brand, (as there are some lesser known brands offering food potions within the service station).The staff were very professional and friendly. The food was served within 2 minutes of ordering it and to be fair the queue was only a few minutes as well, which was good for a busy Saturday afternoon.We could help ourselves to extra sauces and accompaniments and the seating areas were clean. We ordered a deluxe cheeseburger meal and chicken fillets also a McFlurry for dessert, which filled us up and was fairly tasty. We would get food from here again if stopping off on a similar long journey in future..

We stopped here for a break early morning. It was clean and tidy and plenty of seats. I used the self service option which was fairly quick. the food was hot and we tidied up after our selves. We would come back.

Loads of self service machines which are easier and faster. Good seating options at the side looking over the car park. Tidy and clean . I did come at night so can’t comment on day but as it is a small service station it could get busy. Would use again though!

This McDonald's is at Watford Gap service station and has to be one of the most noisy places you can possibly be subjected to. How on earth the cooking and serving staff cope with the constant bleeping and general hubbub is beyond comprehension. The food is ........well, what you expect from this chain restaurant. As one prospective customer in the queue said...."not so very fast food", a comment on just how long we had to wait to be served. Quite honestly, I'm not sure i would attribute the word 'restaurant' to this (or any other) McDonald's. Only a personal opinion so, if you are a fan of the chain, please don't be upset!

Self ordering system, quick and efficient, food hot and tasty. The only thing we found disappointing was the temperature of the who place, freezing cold!!

Iz and I stopped in for a breakfast take-away heading south on the M1, this McD is not a drive through so park up and take a stroll.
