McDonald's in Wealden

Always forgetting our food This is my local Mac Donald’s. Just went there today and they forgot one of my sides. When I went not to long a go they forgot my dads burger. When I have been previous trips they have forgotten food!

Dirty, disgusting, overflowing bins, rubbish everywhere, Dirty tables, cooking area was covered with ingredients all over the sides and floor, shocked and disgusted we would have walked out but did not want to upset the kids, Awful experience and we will not return

If you want a McDonald’s, go to another restaurant. It looked filthy. I should have left when I had seen how dirty it was both in the car park and in the kitchen. I would give it no stars if I could. Beware this place is a dump.

If you like your food burnt then great this is the place for you. Tried to explain to them but was advised they can’t do nothing as order placed via Uber eats and not direct with them. Uber eats just delivers they cook the dam thing but they was not interested at all!

We have had 2 awful experiences here at the drive through. Staff are rude and contemptuous of customers. The second and last visit left my 8 year old in tears. The staff in Uckfield Macdonald's have always been great.

Slow service and poor management as well plus lack of staff because of poor management meaning that the restaurant is poorly run by senior managers leaving staff to do more work than they should! Which leads onto the state of the restaurant during the day as no one seems to have time to clean up and the rest rooms aren’t in a clean condition ! Which is different in the evenings when there are staff who care about the state of the restaurant and how the customers are treated so I prefer to go in the evening than during the day time !

I am absolutely disgusted with my experience today. I even feel sick now thinking about it. The staff were rude, the building itself was extremely dirty and the food took at least 15 minutes to arrive. The whole experience has made me NEVER EVER want to go to McDonald’s again. Please, save yourself now and DO NOT come here or you WILL regret it. Not a happy customer. The picture with the black wall is how (I can only assume a toddler) drew on the walls.

Food took forever, staff not attentive, every table dirty, ice creams handed to us melted. Nothing good about any of it unfortunately- shame as is was a half term treat.

After seeing so many bad reviews, we usually avoid this location and go to the one in Uckfield a couple of miles down the road. Uckfield’s computers weren’t working so we joined the queue here. Queue moved quickly. Our order taken efficiently and clearly. All staff very polite and our meal was served promptly and with no errors. Obviously only take away as the moment due to lockdown but we would definitely use this one again.

Only really ever get a happy meal for my daughter always ask for ketchup but never get it and always pay for sour cream and chive which they never give you nice little scam because your not going to drive back for a 20p sauce but they literally do it every time so you have to check which when you have a queue of cars behind you don't do.

Have messed up over 40 orders for me over 2 years. Sort it out! Has to be the worst mc d's i have ever been to.do not visit.

Don't bother, orders frequently wrong, food served cold. This branch is really bad, drive 2 minutes into uckfield to the other nearest one where they are actually set up to serve fast food without a 15 min wait or mistake....

This branch is my nearest one, so we do tend to visit at least a few times a year. The drive through service here has always been slow, and every time I am asked to pull into the waiting spots. I have had very long waits for food, missing or incorrect items, and on my last visit, a long black hair in my fries. This branch is just not up to McD’s usual high standards, and never has been since it opened. Staff have always been friendly though.

Popped in for a quick bite and was greeted by a lovely young lady named charlotte (ive never met such a happy young lady) my food was alright but took some time to get

A young lady called Charlotte helped us find a table as it was very busy. She asked if we needed anything and was very chatty and always smiling. She looked like she loved her job. Even though it was very busy the food was hot and took no time at all to come to us. Clean restaurant spotless toilets and a very happy atmosphere

We have been here several times late at night and on each occasion the floor has always been dangerously wet and slippery so do be careful as it is quite dangerousThe staff customer service could be drastically improved as they do not interact with the customers very well - they need a mystery shop here - if they were on the high street then they wouldn’t last 5 minutes

Went to the drive-thru today. As happens more often than not, I got told to park up after making my order. I had to wait in the carpark for 15 mins before my food arrived. When I got home I gave my mate their Signature burger. Looked like a young child had made it. Really sloppy!Not impressed with this restaurant.

Slow service. Park up and wait (again) except there were so many cars waiting for food there was nowhere to park so the employee at the window told me to double park. Something needs to change with the ordering system as everyone was sitting around waiting and no one could get out of the car park so lots of bad tempered drivers! Uckfield is tons better. Sort it out!!

I visit McDonalds every week and I stopped at this restaurant on the way back from the sea side. We acutally drove to it purposefully. The service was friendly at the tillpoint but the wait was riduculous. The tray of made food was full to the brim but the staff seemed unable to bag up the orders and distribute. I had watched the wrap i had order be prepared and then it took another 15 minutes for it to be bagged and passed to me, so my overall wait for a happy meal and wrap was 23 minutes. The staff seemed chilled and apologetic but lacked any lustre to improve or realise the extent of the wating time. The drive through queue was so long due to the slowness too. I ate the food but it was cold. Quite possibly the worst Mc Donalds experience i've ever experieneced. i have written to complain to MCdonalds, so hopefully there will be some positive improvement.

Not the best tbh....Chicken burger was disappointing.....Lacking any taste & very thin with a couple of bits of lettuce & runny Mayo

You could travel the length and breadth of the UK and not find a worse McDonalds than this particular one in Maresfield. Due to having a new kitchen installed at home I had to visit here 3 times in 10 days, each time they had no chocolate milkshakes available. Twice I used the drive through and twice I had to park up and wait 15 minutes for delivery of a plain chicken sandwich. 15 minutes? It’s fast food!! Whoever owns this franchise needs to replace the person who replenishes the stock because to be out of your best selling product so many times indicates a lack of awareness. I know it’s a third world problem compared to other things happening in the world but my god this establishment truly is an utter disgrace.

Me and my partner went to order two burgers and a happy meal after waiting 20 mins finding out that our burgers where stuffed right underneath the huge other back log of food piling up going luke warm and unwrapped I asked for a refund the organisation is terrible wierd how big drive thru orders and table service orders get seen to even though your ticket number is first we was number 16 and about six seven orders got done before ours disgusting service and staff don’t have a clue at all how to run that McDonald’s listening to one manager who also didn’t have a clue on orginising or making sure customers got fresh hot food rediculous will never ever be going there again

Ever since McDonald's changed their ordering system, a drive thru visit has turned into a 'sit in the car park for 15 minutes' visit. I find this really disappointing. The same long wait sometimes applies in the restaurant too.

Had to wait at so call fast food restaurant! Surprised no ones been ill yet! Had no sorry from the ......of a manager! Will never eat at this hole again! Look how raw this burger is! Manager should have eaten it!

Last two drive through visits have been poor. Both resulted in a 10 minute wait in the carpark. 5 or 6 other cars also waiting for food. Then when the food does get brought out to you it's cold. Will think again before going again.

Often use this McDonalds as a pit stop when travelling to and from London. Have had varying levels of service on my visits. Had a couple of items missing when going through the drive through - to be fair on the second time, on my return journey, I went into the restaurant and this was sorted out. Remember to check you have all items before leaving the drive through.

Utter joke. Sunday morning and everyone parked in the car park, whilst watching four members of staff go through the trees to have a fag !! No the first time this has happened. Sort it out!

Used the drive thru and orderthe meal.after I have paid for the meal I was told I should wait in the car park the will bring the meal to me.i waited 40mins they did not bring the meal .in the end I had to drive off without the meal

Great friendly service, the food comes out at a reasonable time and they aren’t shy with portions like some other places. 24 hours too, what more could you want!

Used the drivethru. Everyone asked to park up again. That's not a drivethru. Would have been quicker to go in store.

Order pancakes & SYRUP.....drive off to find NO SYRUP. I mean - it's even written on the lid to remind staff - PANCAKES AND SYRUP...not hard...surely?

Come here regularly on a Friday night with our daughter for chicken nuggets and chips. We use the drive through and can be busy. Previously we have been parked up a lot but recently this has not happened.

A drive thru is supposed to be just that. However, I would say that on 80% of my visits I am asked to "park up" as my order isn't ready. Very annoying!

Finishing a late shift and feeling hungry, far too late to start cooking as it was past the midnight hour I thought I'd pop into my 24 hr Mcdonalds for a wrap of the day as well as using a big Mac voucher. All paid for and arriving at the collection point I eagerly awaited my food. The bag felt a bit light so on inspection I found it to be 'wrap of the day' short. I explained my predicament and the reply was 'ugh' or something similar, again I enquired and received the same reply. Off he stormed and said to a senior's ort im out e's doin my ead in'. Excuse me I retorted, who do you think you're talking about. In response to this he came charging back towards the collection window shouting 'don't you av a go at me I'm gonna f×××××g knock you out. Rather startled by this I asked him to repeat what he'd just said, this time though his answer had more' F's with a couple of 'C's thrown in for good measure. By now his manager had intervened and promised me he was not going to carry out his threat. Would have been so ironic if I was ordering a happy meal

Nunca antes he tenido que esperar 30 minutos en un viaje. Entonces para que alguien saliera con media falta mi pedido. Cuando le preguntaron el director dijo que lo ponga todo en a pesar de ver el recibo y dentro de la bolsa que me dio.

For a McDonalds there seemed a high number of staff working in the kitchen with very slow output of food. Toilets were exceptionally clean and modern.

Don't use these places often except for work. This must be the worst McDonald's around. Freezing cold building, always a queue, food slow to come out and the staff haven't got a clue. Do yourself a favour and drive 5 minutes up the road to the Uckfield branch

Decidimos parar para tomar un bocado rápido, café y una visita a los baños. El restaurante era la distribución típica DE MCDONALD'S pero limpias y ordenadas. La comida era excelente y sabroso, caliente mi esposa incluso comentado cómo caliente las patatas fritas eran. Tuve un gran sabroso sin bacon y sólo puedo decir que era grande y sabroso sin duda tener otro cuando nos gustaría volver en el futuro. El personal era amable y bien organizado y teníamos un requisito especial para nuestra orden, me dijeron que iban a traer la comida a la mesa una vez que estaba listo para estar sentado mientras se espera. Volveremos cuando paso en el futuro.

Following a visit to A and E we were pleased to find somewhere to get something to eat. It was 4.30in the morning on July 31st and when we went in the floor looked like they must have had a very busy night. The service was fine and we enjoyed our food but by 16.00 that day I was doubled up with stomach cramps and had diarrhoea which still have now on Tuesday evening. If I am no better tomorrow will be going to doctors and having a swab as I am on a chemotherapy treatment I can not afford to get infection. I have been a caterer all my working life and think it can only be somebody nor handling foo properly or washing hands etc. as the food was fine. I will be writing to the head office. Sorry

I've never sat down in McDonald's- I always use the drive thru. It's probably easier to list the times they have forfiled my order correctly, than not; yes, it really is that bad.Time after time, they forget items ordered. Recently, I've started reporting these incidents - which I recommend we all do. They put your name on a sheet of 'misorders' (well, actually, it's wrong to call it a sheet, more like a book!) and they'll reimburse, and/or replace the order; but they never seem to learn from their mistakes! They even managed to get my replacement order wrong! My advice? Well, McDonald's is a necessary evil, but always check your order before driving off to avoid disappointment. Although that reminds me- sadly that isn't enough. The other day I requested a 'special order' I asked for the cheese to be omitted from my breakfast wrap. I checked they had included everything before driving off, then got home and noticed that despite waiting for the 'special order' and it being labelled 'special order', they still forgot to take the cheese out! Duh!

This macdonalds never fails to amaze me they never ever get an order right always missing something or wrong stuff

Yes this is a good stop for a McDonald's Restuarant that is also open 24 hours.The service is good as one would expect from this chain.Parking is plentiful
