McDonald's in Leicester

Usually I'll avoid this particular restaurant due to it being over congested to an uncomfortable level. Today we visited, the table was unclean covered in a sticky liquid and tissues from the previous people. The food came pretty fast despite the amount of people waiting. The order was correct and the food was perfect. Fries were salted, a lot of Mcdonald restaurants weirdly forget to salt the fries.. they were fresh and hot. The burgers were great. There were no faults in the food. The toilets were clean, cleaners were all over the toilet zone with warning signs.. I like this a lot. All in all it was OK, I'll always avoid this restaurant around the weekend at night at it attracts drunk idiots that often fight. We went away pleased, thankyou to the staff.

Outstanding McDonald’s Delivery Experience! I have to say, this was hands down the best McDonald’s delivery experience I’ve ever had. As a former McDonald’s employee, I know exactly how things should be done—and more often than not, how they actually get done. But this time, everything was done perfectly. I placed my order at 6:33 AM, and it arrived at 6:45 AM—in just 12 minutes. That’s incredible! The food was hot, the drink still had ice, and my iced coffee was properly sealed with both an iced coffee lid and a soft drink lid—not a single drop spilled. Everything I ordered was included, from my double McMuffin with egg to my breakfast wrap with ketchup, plus the sugar donuts. Both sandwiches were well-assembled with great presentation—the bacon was properly cooked (not flimsy), the egg was perfectly round, and the sausage was well-seasoned and delicious. The hash brown was crispy, hot, and not greasy, and they even packaged it separately to prevent any mess. I was also impressed by the packaging and attention to detail: ✅ Double-bagged for protection ✅ Tamper seals applied (rare to see, but they did it!) ✅ Napkins, straws, tissue, and dips included ✅ Coupons and a breakfast menu leaflet—a really nice touch! I originally considered ordering from a different McDonald’s with better reviews, but I decided to give this location a try despite some negative feedback. And honestly? I’m glad I did. My experience was flawless. Even when I worked at McDonald’s, we rarely went to these lengths for a delivery order. So huge respect to the staff working on January 31st between 6:30-6:45 AM—whoever was on shift, you nailed it. If the manager sees this, please acknowledge them because this was top-tier service. Also, shoutout to Uber Eats—the driver called when they arrived, making the whole process even smoother. If this is the new standard for McDonald’s delivery, I’m impressed. Well done!

the food has never arrived after been waiting for 2 hours plus. i will never order again. waste of time

They forgot to add the fries i orded my order number was 037 this order was placed on 26/01/25 the time was 1:57 when i went to thw counter and asked.for my recipet my siblings were really sad and angwe so was my dad i orded : 4 mayo chicken burgers/ 6 ketchup cost :free / 1 meduim sprite / 1 meduim coco-cocal/ 4 SMALL FRIES WHICH THEY DIDNT GIVE US im really anger and sad they didnt give us our 4 small fries !!!

Every time I place an order it arrives wrong. Double quarter pounder comes as a single. Sausage and egg McMuffin. Turns up no Egg. If you’re going to make a mistake then put 20 nuggets in the bag or an extra burger.

All the food was there and was warm, fries were definitely not large as packets weren't full but order was complete. order time changes so hard to say if on time, early or late but all is good.

I was disappointed with the quality as it was delivered in an unsatisfactory condition.The items were packaged incorrectly meaning the food was'nt intact and extremely cold. The only thing that was nice was the milkshake.

My drinks split and my food was all wet I’m not happy. The driver thought it was funny my drinks had split and laughing. I’ve spent my money with you in trust that it’s been well spent clearly not. I expect a full refund.

I don't feel safe there. Anyone can come in, stoned, aggressive. I come there with my child and I think that there is a lack of trained, competent security authorized to use all security measures if necessary. It is often dirty, the toilets are also either out of order or dirty. Last week, an unconscious man was lying in the middle of this facility, I observed it for a while and asked for intervention. The crew did not care much about it, but people passing by took pictures and laughed at it, which I consider scandalous and very reprehensible.

We never got the food. We kept telling the driver the adress and directions, but he kept saying I need the address, the company says to wait 5 minutes before cancelling or something, and kept hnging up on us. I want my food or a full refund

What a farce tonight’s order was. Over 45 mins later than initial specified time and the main food was missing. We ended up with fries and drinks. £60 odd order and probably no refund or anything from just eat! How hard is it to put things in a bag. Then deliver it. Not sure if McDonald’s messed it up or the delivery driver.

Appalling. Apparently having problems with rogue drivers stealing the orders. Order never never arrived. Phoned Eastgates only to be greeted with the most arrogant, unhelpful person who displayed an attitude that it's not her problem. Speak to Just Eat. FINALLY, got to chat with just eat who assured me that they will refund our money but takes 7 days. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

Good stuff. They make my order pretty quick even when there is an army of customers. I have seen a lot worse in other city centres. My issue is the lack of seating there is sometimes and also the fact that the app didn't work and they didn't give me points but still a good location.

SHOCKING customer service even from the manager. Absolutely no customer skills, no sympathy and refuse to listen. This McDonald’s needs a serious managerial review. 1 star is a push. Will NOT be coming to this branch again and I urge others to do the same.

I ordered the chicken selects share box and it came with chicken nuggets ( I don't like them) and the mozzarella sticks I ordered had 5 chicken selects inside and no mozzarella sticks this is a very big concern because a chicken was in a vegetarian option, I am very concerned about the kitchen staff making such a big mistake, this leads me to wonder if correct training has been given and if the correct food safety and food hygiene certificates have been obtained by staff??

Terrible! Left a note to say don’t forget items and they still forgot the main items off the order! More time needs to be taken when packing orders as this shouldn’t happen. Now I have to report missing items to probably get nothing back and sort other food out. Won’t be using again!
