McDonald's in Huntingdonshire

Quick service, despite the large crowd. Convenient location.

Very Very busy as expected from a motorway service station. However, despite the 25 minute wait for food as can be realistically expected of such a place, there was no excuse for leaving my order on the unheated side for nearly 10 minutes before calling my order number out. Food was stone cold by the time I received my order.

Best service I’ve had at a McDonald the food was great and hot for a change in like some I go to

Serve a good coffee here unfortunately the food is tasteless once it cools down. Staff were helpful.

Crapdonalds.. convenience food. Not good.. not fast

Always hot and prepared properly - no shoddy work. Busy. Timely service. Atmosphere? Depends on clientele.

Went here on a long journey for a decent coffee. It was just before midnight and all the self-service computers were turned off. There were loads of staff stood around having a laugh, including the manager on duty, who didn't smile once and took one of the tills away to cash up. Throughout there was music playing near the fry station that was so loud we had to shout to make ourselves heard. The guy on the till misheard our order twice because of the music and I passed a comment that it might be easier if the music wasn't so loud. When the order was completed I asked to speak to the manager and complained about the volume of the music and was told it was only for one song; which wasn't true as we had stood waiting for our drinks (as the only customers) for seven minutes. The store had the appearance of somewhere chaotic and uncontrolled. It gives a very poor impression of the McDonald's brand and should be looked at closely by head office.

It's a fast food establishment. Food is hit and miss staff are roboticly curious but you don't feel they mean it . Prices are fair quality is average.

Drive through, friendly enough though I did feel the girl had misheard me, got my order wrong but manager with ginger hair very helpful and credited my the overcharge straight away. Lovely manner from him. Always generally Quick and efficient when your in the mood for a little breakfast wrap

Very poor quality food chips taste like they where in a microwave burger dripping of grease and ice cream taste like when it's been defrosted and then refrozen wouldn't eat here again and would advise others not to eat here

Ordered @3pm when it was pretty busy. For now it's super worth it. Excellent customer service, my meal was hot and properly prepared. The back looks clean and saw them wearing gloves. Gotta give props where it's due.

Can get very busy especially after 7pm with young people in cars grabbing a bite to eat and catching up.

I use them only for their milk shakes.

Gluten free options are non- existent, except that you can order a burger without the bun.... then they don't even serve it with a knife or fork ( unless you ask)! Pretty useless.

I went in and left, the only thing that stuck with me was the stench there.

What can you say about any McDonald's you either love or hate them. The food is now very exspencive that was the last time I'm using a Mc d's you don't get a lot for your money and it's now very exspencive for a burger, fries, milkshake and 6 chicken nuggets was just over 12 quid. What a rip off.

The promise verses the reality of a " Large " fries. And strange they skimp on the orders when the terminals arn't printing receipts, so you can't let them know you're not happy.

Attended mid afternoon, long wait to order, long wait to pay but food was already prepared and so was cool at collection. Staff member virtually threw the good at me without any comment on delay. Worst of the local franchises - go to Colton or Clifton Moor , worth the extra time

Ordered via app for table service. Service was quick enough, but why would you be served food with no napkins?? Server was OK though and said she would have fetched them for me but I was OK as its good to get your steps in 🤣. A loud group of friends took up 5 tables which rather put a damper on the otherwise tranquil atmosphere. Can't wait for the no smoking ban outside the door though.

It's a handy stop in between yorkshire and london when you have another 2 hours to go . Good for quick walk with dog

Fast food, normal service to stop and buy something to eat.

I ordered on the app for 34 Girlguides on a trip, I anticipated a wait with such a large order however the store managers/supervisors (I think one of their names was Pete) quickly had it under control putting together a tray of drinks, and food very quickly. They ensured everything was there and even carried the drinks over. They went over and above to double check we have everything and provided a big bag of napkins, straws and sauces for everyone without asking. Such a fast and efficient stop, thank you Peterborough Services Macdonalds! A coach full of very happy, well fed Girlguides heading home!

Slow service and staff seemed a bit miserable.

Small but proper McDonalds, you get everything as you expected from this branch, specious comment eating area, Good for travellers. Just one this I find little problem which is wait time, if you order the food there you have to wait some time which can be annying if you not want to waste much time on service. Its not their fault but as its a busy service there are loads of customers ordering food.

First time I've been in here for about 3 years or more and I really enjoyed eating in, would definitely come and eat here again soon.

As expected really. All good served here looks only 50% as big as the menu photographs, and tastes 100% worse. Eat somewhere else, even Greg's is better than this, and much better value.

Average McDonald's experience...

McDs is always a good option for tired kids and although we're really busy the food came out fast so we could eat and be on our way again.

Ordered Double Big Mac with Bacon, large fries, large drink. No reciept from touch screen point, ignored when repeating my order number to confirm, NO BACON in the Double Big Mac with Bacon, Large Fries carton HALF FULL. Already back on the road so too late to resolve. (Order 70, 18/7/24 12:35:26).

Good food..milkshake machine was down but they made us the last ones.. sadly far too sweet but they did warn us so it is what it is.

Yeah it's fast food, yes they put cold bits on a hot burger, but please can we have hot food and not tepid food. Been to maccys in the USA several times and they get it out hot.

Always a good place to visit good value for money lovely staff friendly and helpful.

They can’t pack food properly, I ordered 3 double bacon muffins, got 3 double sausage muffins. We went back to get what we actually ordered. After receiving our order again, being already on the road, we noticed they packed again 2 muffins with bacons and one with that sausage! Shame we didn’t check also second time what we received. All of them standing and chatting, maybe do what you’re getting paid for.

It's gets worse can't wait for the kids to get over it....

Order screens not given receipts when asked was told that they got no paper. So ordered a hot drinks the lid was not on properly and fell off in the car leving a red burn (tea) on my partner stomach. looks like they were short staffed .will wait to see how the mark goes before taking further action with head office

Don't eat it it's not good for you

Avoid this mcdonalds! Myself and my family stopped here for a quick bite to eat on the way home from a holiday. I ended up getting food poisoning on the way home (sharing a car with my daughter and mate), and I can honestly say, thank goodness I had her with me. It was horrific, to say the least, and I've never had food poisoning in my whole 28 years of living. I'm just thankful my family and mate didn't eat the same thing as me. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!

Take That were no at Nottingham, so for some people no there way home to Lincolnshire the place was very busy. The food was cold, not a lot of staff the staff were friendly and saying sorry which was good of them. But someone should be checking to see what maybe no out there were a lot of people are coming back. And it's not fast food, it me 30min to get my food, I don't go often but will not be going to the Newark one again.

Busiest McD in A1(M) service. Crowded place but service was fast. Thanks to the hardworking crew and manager.

Stopped here once to eat. It was very busy and the food took an awfully long time to arrive. Once it did, it was of subpar quality. I was once told to stay away from service-station McDonald's. With my experience, I'd echo that advice.

Stopped in for a late lunch during a long drive and decided on McDonald’s as it’s quick and easy. Food was piping hot and came out within 5 minutes of ordering. Food court area was very clean and we had a great meal! Would recommend this McDonald’s services.

Absolutely useless had to wait in the bay as food wasn't ready waited 15 minutes still no food went and asked where's my food and unbelievable they said they couldn't find me after all that the food was cold

Waited for 11am to have cheese burger rather than breakfast. Burgers were luke warm, strange as they should have been just cooked. 7 hours later my husband and I were horrendously ill. We only ate here and had nothing else all day. I have reported this to the local councils food standards. Ended up being ill for 4 days. Will never use this McDonald's again. Steer clear!

20 minutes waiting for milkshakes just to find out the machine is broken and they cannot tell you how long you will wait, Josh manager very unprofesesional. Don't stop there, no worth waiste your time

Great place food good and no waiting

All the burgers at 11am were served stone cold. All members of our party were very sick after consuming this food, and this food was the only thing that was eaten and drank all day, by all members. Avoid if don't like being ill.

McDonald's at Peterborough service station is one of my favourites. They really know the meaning of fast food. A star missing today as there was a gliche in the app when I arrived and the egg in the sausage mcmuffins were bland. Like they were poached rather than fried. Same fast friendly service though.

Disappointed that once again the self service machines were not all issuing receipts meaning that staff had no way to verify whether the person collecting the food had actually ordered and paid for it. Moreover as the machine could not customise my order as required, I ended up cancelling and ordered from a member of staff {crew trainer}. Only when I received the food (fries were floppy rather than crisp) did I realise that they had also not customised it as requested but omitted to mention it to me at the time. I normally leave ordering to others to earn loyalty points so don't know if this is the norm or atypical but it doesn't encourage me to use this outlet in the future.

The staff appeared to cope well with the demand. Chav tastic clientele gold chains, tattoes, sliders, football shirts, gum chewing oiks. We went to M&S and Fresh instead.

One of the worst McDonald's ever, constantly. Unfortunately for us, this is our nearest restaurant. Slow service, food is poor, information boards don't work, etc

One of the best McDonald's I ve had lovely crispy chicken wrap husband had cheeseburger. Milk shake fries, mini flurry and cappuccino for me. Perfect thank you

Full of youngsters which suited the grandchildren but a little noisy for me although the food was better than some similar franchises.

Car park was busy. Inside there was a choice of seats upstars. Food arrived quickly.

I used to avoid McDonalds on principle; junk food sustaining a junk culture. But I’ve mellowed/got jaded. I really like (love?) their cheeseburgers - esp’ the triple cheeseburger! - and their French Fries are usually very good (of occasionally a tad too salty). Service varies with who’s working, but is usually fast, efficient and friendly enough. Value for money? Hard to say… just very convenient, and seductively tasty!

By far the worst mcdonalds establishment I have ever visited. I popped in for a late night dinner after doing a 19 hour shift at work. Wasn't worth the money in the slightest. Chips were stone cold and hard, as though left on the side for a length of time. My cheesy bites were missing the dip that came with them. My burger was cold and terribly dry. Also contained onions when I specifically asked for no onions. It even says "no onions" on the box (luckily it's just a case of me not liking them rather than a serious allergy). And to top it all off, my coke was flat and warm. Dreadful service from the young lad there. Just shouted my number and pushed the bag across the side to me without a word. When I requested a cup holder he tutted at me and slammed it on the side. Absolutely disgraceful service and food. I won't be returning thankyou very much!

Motorway services McDonald's what do you really expect? Service at times can be very slow, but fairness to the staff it gets VERY busy and I mean 50-100 people waiting about for their orders so it is to be expected.

6:50 am. Hash brown happened to be cold, also had person behind the counter without badge or MCd uniform. Joined toilets at Peterborough services smelly and generally not clean. Display screen not working. Good mcmuffin, lovely hot coffee, served by nice girl. Good enough for fast food. Quick.

It's a McDonald's like all the McDonald's around. You got there because you can't be bothered to cook not because you fancy a romantic meal out or a family reunion.
