McDonald's in Salford

I entered the store at 9.05 am. I ordered one coffee. After a long wait I enquired at 9.35 am " where's my coffee?" It was duly brought to me immediately. The label stamp showed it was ready at 9.21 am. So it had been sat there for 14 mins ! The eccles branch is in a disgusting state. For over two weeks now the gents urinals, there's only two have been taped off and unusable. That is disgusting. I'm a builder myself. It takes one phone call and should be fixed same day or next day at the latest.

This is a great spot if you’re looking to get a quick bite to eat. I did not wait too long for my order to arrive and most importantly the food came out hot, would highly recommend!

This place is poor at best, where to even start Outside is just a rubbish tip, huge queue for the drive thru, two separate places to make orders pointless only one person taking the orders. Nothing ever works always same excuse milkshake machine etc, if you ever find a McDonald’s where the shake machine does work, get in touch with English heritage as they can install a blue sign outside it. Complete order messed up, seriously avoid this one, or just make it and serve yourself if you can

Went tonight waited 10 mins in the drive through lane to be told I won't be long then they served 2 cars behind us that went in the next lane, the girl came back and said i won't be long waited another 5 mins to find out the drinks machine was broke so left with nothing but screaming kids as whats a meal without a drink. I won't be going back in a hurry with tonight's service and a further 6 min wait to get out of the que...what a dreadful experience...and to top it off as we were waiting to go past the window you could see drinks being passed out to customers in the cars infront🤣🤣...anyway it was your loss you lost out on a few kids meals and 4 adults meals due to poor service.

Good atmosphere, was able to get some work done with good food and drink available. Staff were friendly. Close to motorway too

The food at McDonald’s Eccles is the best compared to any other McDonald’s. It is always fresh and the service is always to high standards.

Visited this McDonald's today with my little girl and the service was spot on! Very happy customer. Definitely get a 5* from me :)

Went there for a breakfast before heading on a roadtrip. Amazingly friendly staff food was delicious and fresh wich is a massive plus.

Abbie was so helpful and patient with our daughters dietary needs. It can be difficult at times eating out but she made the process so smooth with no hiccups and was polite & professional. What a great asset to your team she is!

Good food and atmosphere. Naddy was friendly and did not stop cleaning once while I have been sat inside. Girl on till was very ☺️

Come here often with friends and family food is always hot and nice coudnt ask for anything better even that staff are amazing definitely the best place to eat in Eccles

This restaurant is one of the best ones I have been to! great staff and always great food! usually we have to wait ages in other restaurants but this one we only waited 5 minutes and the food came hot and my kid super enjoyed it! will visit again

The wrap was well nice, the staff was really friendly and helpful with our order and brought it over to our table for us so we didn’t have to wait stood up.

Awful. Waited 20 minutes for counter order. Staff uninterested, scruffily dressed and presented, unprofessional, priority given to delivery orders whose order bags looked like they'd been kicked around the floor. Staff actually screaming and shouting at each other in the preparation area. Food cold, shriveled and mostly inedible, only a matter of time before it makes someone very ill indeed. Multiple customer complaints witnessed, an ambulance crew requested a refund and left without their food order due to excessive waiting time. Disorganised, substandard and inconsiderate. Customer service for (franchise) website stated on receipt non functional / not interested as no acknowledgement or reply to emails. McDonald's main actual customer service not much better, acknowledged the shocking service but I wouldn't hold my breath as to any improvement, they seemed equally unconcerned and insincere.

Waited nearly half an hour in the parking bay. Expecting freshly cooked food. Brought out handed over no apology for lateness. Food cold and awful.

I do Uber eats and the staff were the worst staff I have ever worked with I returned my Uber eats order and left but they were just horrible to even speak to

Everytime I come to this McDonald’s the staff are always friendly and polite and the food is always hot. The cleanliness of the restaurant is always immaculate compared to others.

Quick and easy to get food, I was in the local hospital and needed something to eat on the way home , I went round the drive thru late at night and the staff where friendly and got my food to me

Possibly the poorest service levels of any Mcdonalds I have ever experienced. They seem to struggle with very simple activities have you waiting when the store seems empty and even the basics seem a challenge.

The new burger was great, piping hot and fresh! Martha who cleans and talks to the customers was so nice and friendly!

Twice I've ordered through Just Eat, twice the order had things missing. Rang Macdonalds who said they have a problem with the drivers eating the food outside! This time thought I would drive up and collect myself. Got home and yes nuggets missing so shame on you Macdonald's blaming the drivers when its obviously your incompetent staff. I ordered some food I ordered 4 fish fillet meals. One was fine the other 3 just tasted stale. Get a McDonald's every lunchtime got the app love it but this branch donee over big time. Only one of the fish fillets meal was edible the rest just Taste like they are left overs. Fumming had to go subway for 3 meals that cost double the price

This has to be the ugliest, most uncomfortable McDonald's in the whole of Manchester. It's freezing cold, draughty, due to the wind blow straight through from the door to the drivethru hatch. You have to practically walk into the kitchen to get attention of the none existant front of house staff. I hate this place it is hell.

The restaurant has recently been refurbished and it is horrible. It is much smaller and feels claustrophobic. I used to go regular, now I never go. The staff don't seem to want to use the tills and pull their faces if they have to serve someone. They like to hide away behind the new walls of the kitchen. It is dank and dingy and the new seating is awful, all squashed up together and tiny. It is like you are almost sitting on each others knee. The queues now are terrible. It is a truly dank miserable experience. I hate it there

Don’t like the new layout. Place is tiny. Don’t think they want customers eating in service us very slow. 15ms wait for 2 cheeseburgers and mayo chicken hopeless.

Absolutely the worst branch Iv ever used. Guaranteed to have to park up on drive throughs Get home to find your order incorrect return to restaurant and they argue with you. It’s a shocking branch which I will never use again.

food cold, cup of tea cold, flies everywhere bins overflowing, i got a replacement tea and fries, food left on counters too long, so paid over £13 for 4 happy meals, nothing happy about it as it all went in the overflowing bin for the flies, there was als rubbish all over the floor, i have been there twice before it wasnt great but today was disgusting, never again

This macdonalds is the worst of the worst , crap staff , cold food , never ever get food at drive through , have to wait ages , walk in to get food all food piling up on the serve area SHOCKING . Treating customers like monkeys at the zoo. Decided NEVER EVER to go here again and only live around the corner.

Problem is when you are travelling its often these places you spot first when you are hungry! Easy access and a large car park. We had the chicken royal, quite tasty actually although the flat white wasn't as good as it should be.

I visit this McD’s several times a week as I work nearby. The staff are always fantastic, really friendly especially the two experienced guys who are there most of the time (ie sometimes one or the other) and have been there for quite a long time now. The food is always good and hygiene/tidiness is never a problem. Tbh, I wish all McD’s were of the standard of this one.Thanks

This place seems incapable of getting my order correct. Twice I have ordered sausage, twice I have been given bacon, always lukewarm. They get the wrapper correct but the food wrong. This is shortly after 5am just after breakfast starts, what happens when they get busy, God only knows! Not sure if the staff are incompetent or just don’t care, both I think!!!!

This is the worst McDonald’s, food is always cold and even when you ordering a burger without something so it’s made fresh it still manages to come cold. Also the staff aren’t capable of putting your correct order in the bag. Absolutely useless

Came and was served by troy...very quick to serve...friendly and made my toffee latte the way I like it...was eating and a lovely helpful lady called zoe who helped get sauce for my godson while I tried to get him to eat..will be back very soon x

Not sure what’s happening at this McDonalds. Use it regularly as I work near by. Keep trying to give me large meals when I don’t order them. Need to get a hearing test or just trying it on at the drive thru. Not good sort it out.

Everytime i go to this mcdonalds without a doubt they always forget something in the bag what i have ordered or paid for and if its not the burger theyve left the pickle on the burger which i have asked for no pickle. Want to blame the staff but its been happening for the past 4 years now and my friends even say it before i mention my recent disaster.

Only come in here if you want to get abused by staff and told you need to get out just because you was laughing and they say they are going to get the police to remove you absolutely pathetic wouldn’t come back here again

We visited for lunch with our 5 year old Grandson. As per the current advert on TV he showed us how to order on the screen! We did forget though to pick up the receipt with the order number. Michaela not only went to find the order for us but picked the meal and brought it over, this was quickly followed by ketchup and sweeteners. Grandson had an accident with his ketchup which not only spilt on the bench but landed upside down on the floor. Michelle not only cleaned it up with a smile but went and got a replacement sauce and a balloon to go with his crayons and colouring sheet. All in all excellent visit

On numerous occasions order foid on drive through and eat on the car park, service and prices good however as food is cooked at 75c and held and allowed to be served at 63c and above, on most occasions the food is colder, in normal food outlets food is probed and recorded, as this is fast food and produced at fast speed it is not acceptable for it to be luke warm when eating straight away, I would not like to have delivered..

Make sure double check order because twice now I've got home and something is missing. This time the sauce for my chicken select so basic while meal wasted.

The only mc Donald's which could put me off coming to this chain any more. The fries always cold, soggy and half full. The number of times we complained about fries being cold and soggy is unbelievable and no improvement whatsoever!!!!!

So I went in and ordered A Quarter Pounder. Not the meal, just the burger. It was Pay day so I thought hey, why not make this a bad boy, so I added bacon and lettuce and extra cheese, even a tomato. I didn't really think that would be enough, so I thought I would get a double cheese burger too, which I also added Bacon and Pickles too. I was served by a girl who was working with a young man who had a pickle resting on his shoulder. He didn't seem to notice. When I got home from what I was slowly realising was not a reputable establishment as I once thought, I realised to my disgust, THEY HAD FORGOTTEN MY DOUBLE CHEESE BURGER. My friend didn't even get his extra bacon. it was a sad moment. I shed a tear as I was 12 nuggets deep into my 20 sharing box. All I wanted was a double cheese with bacon, but for some reason the pickle shouldered baboon Couldn't read the order and I was short changed. I will never view maccies the same again and will pick a different restaurant to eat from when Im high. Thanks.

Service was good and the premises were clean and tidy. The food was prompt and just as you would expect from McDonalds. Unfortunately the coffee was bleak!

Visited late morning on Saturday 4th March. Walked in to see a group of youths with a dog sat on the bench eating off the table! I kid you not! The dog was a Staff cross breed. When they left the bench and table where the dog had been sat at was filthy. A member of staff proceeded to clean the bench then with the same cloth that she had wiped the bench with proceeded to wipe the tables! I felt quite sick to the point I left my food. Asked to speak to a Manager. A very helpful young lady came over. I asked why a dog had been allowed in, to sit on a bench and eat off the table. She said the group of youths had said the dog was a registered dog! A Staff cross breed a "registered dog"? I then told her that the area where the dog had been sat had been cleaned but the same cloth was then used to clean table tops with. In fairness to her she did arrange for the area to be thoroughly cleaned but had I not said anything nothing would have been done. Do "registered dogs" have ID cards? If so surely Staff should have asked to see it? Are Staff trained in hygiene? If not they should

We used the drive through to grab breakfast for our daughter as had an early start & we purchased coffee for ourselves.But even though we ask for our coffees to be hot they weren't.The only time coffee or door is hot is if it's made there & then.Seems to sit in a holding area a little too long.The new systems in all mc Donald's needs sorting out.

I have written to McDonalds customer services 3 times now about my nearest branch in Eccles, Manchester!I was told in previous communication with the that the manager of that store would get in touch with me, I have still not heard anything!So, once again, here's my complaint - Here is the small fries I apparently asked for because that's what I got! This happens nine times out of ten visits and I'm sick of it! I should be getting what I pay for and this can't be just happening to me. Also, to top my latest visit off, the measly portion of medium fries were so anemic, I couldn't even eat them, nor could my little girl. And....while I'm at it, someone needs to teach the staff some manners!

I visited this macdonalds restaurant today with my two children aged 10 and 2. My 2 year old fell over and bumped her head as we was going in, the managers could not do enough Louis ( I think that's he's name ) never left our side he brought her a drink and a free happy meal which I thought was lovely that lad and a girl called Daniella deserve a promotion of some sort cause as long as this restaurant have them two there it will go far. The food was lovely too and that's unusual for macdonalds! Thanks again guys really appreciated it.

Go a lot as its our local mc Donald's, I agree with other reviewers they have missed a lot of items from the bag. You always have to check.My other bug bare with this branch is the fries are always , limp and soggy, and you always have to ask for fresh fries, and it doesn't go down too well with the staff.The prices have really gone up at McDonald's but the service seems to be going down.Also seems to be a hangout for 18yrs+ drivers sat in cars etc, later on at night, although never seen any trouble can be slightly intimidating for visitors not in the know of the area etc, that also goes for the entrance as the outside tables are always full of youths in crowds and puts off my teenage daughter going in, if required eg missing items,etc.

I ate here one evening because I couldn't find anything else in the area I was staying. Perfectly good McDonald with parking and drive ordering.

No cheese on sausage an bacon sandwich 2 little what i can only described as fat not bacon not good from what i can read in other reviews they need to sort this out. Unhappy customer

I love McD's, but on more than 3 occasions I have gone through the drive through and they have left something out of my order. I know it gets busy, but it has happened a few times now, so I always check through the bag to make sure it's all there.
