I ask the store management to take into consideration that I am one of the store’s customers and I love the meals that the store offers. The food they have is excellent, but I was surprised that yesterday I ordered a family meal and was surprised when I arrived home that the chicken pieces were all from the breast side, bones, six pieces of the same quality no legs or Thigh I think the guy who served me he was drunk 🥴

I did order food in this place today They said they came to delivery the food at my door (building with 15 floors) they just lying first they say the are so busy that's they kept me waiting for 2h and them they don't want refund me

Cheap staff don’t no how to speak to customer .

Better than shakebee and Miamis. Fast service and tasty burgers. Always come here and the chill sauce is banging.

First time I went here I absolutely loved it, the chicken burger was massive it was amazing I asked for red salt chips and they put red salt in a plastic container they gave me loads and it all came up to £13 definitely try this place!!!

Hands down, the best burger in Manchester! As a Philadelphia loyalist I took a break as I moved out of town for a while, having returned I had to make a return to 'ole reliable. I ordered my usual Extra Spicy Tower Burger Meal and not only did it not disappoint, it's improved!! They're tower burger comes with a hashy and 3 onion rings compared to the usual single hash brown from most other establishments; the added toppings seriously enhance the burger. The burger held more moisture and the sauce has been tweaked slightly towards the spicier side rather than it's salty predecessor. They've made improvements to the establishment and their service is always top notch with a maximum wait time of 2 minutes, what more can be said? Lastly, after my 12 mile trip home the burger was still piping hot and I had to let it further cool down, which is great if your going to be doing collections for larger orders. If you're making a trip, don't be an amateur, get the extra spicy, get the tower burger. Thank me later

Better than Miami Crispy is all I need to say. Not a huge gap between the two but this imo is the best fried chicken in Manchester.

Banging chicken burgers, chips aren't the best and the gravy is weak but oh my god the spicy chicken burger is heaven

When you want a chicken burger... You can trust phillys to hit the spot. If your not wanting to wait oven an hour at miamis, this place will typically have you in and out within 5 mins.. The last visit I'd not even got my change yet and my order was ready. Steaming hot, fresh and tasty. Currently expanding the shop so a little smaller than normal

Some of the staff are very rude I got a spicy burger meal and wanted a cold drink from the fridge the guy packing my food gave it me from the pack that was under the till i said again i wanted it from the fridge he then opens the fridge in anger and slams the can on the table. Whats the point in having a fridge full of cold drinks when they dont give drinks from the fridge. Weirdos. Very unprofessional never going here again Miami Crispy is far better started going there

Delicious food and reasonable prices

Went in at about 00:50 ( I had high viz on) on 08/03/2024 in person, I ordered 2 pieces of fried chicken they said it's £3.50 for 2 pieces which seemed very expensive but I paid anyway but as soon as i went outside I checked their website and 2 pieces of chicken is actually £2.50 , they seemed in a rush and annoyed that I went in at that hour. So basically, I was robbed £1. No sauce or tissues were given or offered. First time going there, and it will be the last time.

THIS GUYS ARE CHARGING YOU FOR RED SALT 😂 Seriously, beside the fact that they are charging you for sauces, red salt etc … the quality has unfortunately dropped… (new owner? Cheaper ingredients? I don’t know). The chicken is either average or sometimes smelly and taste weird. They have officially lose the chicken burger game in Manchester. You can see the difference of quality when you go to Miami or Roccos which are much more better. I am not returning there ever.

Where do I start? i first went to this place back in 2020 when the queues were huge. 2020-2022 🏆 they were the champions of the spicy burger in the country. Fast forward 2023-2024 I have tried an tried again BUT ITS ALWAYS SALTY! ALWAYS Please I hope you guys read this? Stop using the same dip sauce for over 30 odd fillets the sauce becomes SALTY! Change the dip sauce frequently. Definitely new owners because it was never like this before👎🏼

Absolutely ridiculous charging £7.10 (cash only) for a spicy chicken burger meal that tastes cold and disgusting. The quality of the burger has dropped significantly and to charge £7.10 (CASH ONLY) for a disgusting and dry burger is absurd. Miamis just dominates it and the price is reasonable,£4.80 for a spicy chicken burger which tastes fresh and juicy, only downside with miamis is long queues but it’s well worth the wait.

I have been a regular customer for a long time now. This time i was a bit disappointed because i asked for spicy fillet burger, but there was no spicy sauce on it. Another customer before me had the same issue and bought the burger back.

Not sure what's happened to this place but the standards have gone very low .. we ordered food from here last night and the chips were cold and hard like they had been re fried and left out .. the burger did not feel freshly cooked .. I had the runs all day today and had stomache cramps .. will never order from here again

The burger is always good. However, the fried chicken doesn't have a lot of taste. Order wings instead of fried chicken. That tastes better. Occasionally I’ve experienced the food to contain too much salt. A good place to get a burger from.

I tried the Spicy Chicken Burger with Cheese from Philadelphia Fried Chicken and it didn't quite meet my expectations. The spiciness was there, but the fillet was bland lacking flavour big-time, and the cheese didn't add much to enhance the experience. The burger felt a bit dry, leaving me wanting more in terms of taste and juiciness.

Burgers are lovely, there's too much salt in the batter. That spoils the taste...It's over crowded with kids They should install a number machine outside so when your number comes on the screen pick your food up.

The burgers are ok for this price but the wings and the chips were not good . The spicy sauce is not fantastic . I asked him to pass me a can from the fridge, he doesn't accept, he told me "it's cold" it's was not cold, just fresh, they really don't care about the clients.

Came here today, the dip spicy burger was really good. I’ve tried Miamis and genuinely don’t see the taste difference between both places. These guys provide quick service, so you aren’t waiting to long. Only annoying thing is parking as it’s always full on the main road. Overalls would give it 4/5

Philadelphia just isn’t what it used to be. I visited about a week ago and found the food to be more salty than usual and not as fresh tasting. It could be that the quality of ingredients has gone down hill, I’m not sure. I feel like the novelty has worn off and the food doesn’t impress me as much as it used to. I’m certain that it has tasted much better in the past. Also, I can’t believe they still operate on a cash only basis (granted, there is an ATM across the road).

Chicken burgers good but not great. Wasn't too keen on the spicy burger because it was all spice and no flavour. Fries good but portion size was way too small by comparison. Cash only when ordering takeaway in the store is extremely annoying. Also charging 30% more for ordering on Just Eat is a joke. On balance not sure if I would go there again, too much competition out there and I don't eat this kind of food very often.

Philadelphia is not worth the money. They work on volumes and their quality always suffers. Ordered on 20th evening. 2 chicken sandwich burger meals (spicy) meals and 6 wings (spicy). Received: 2 non spicy burger meals and wings were not spicy. Called takeaway told them received wrong order. Got told wings always made spicy and made to feel like a liar. Even through do serve non spicy wings as well. Order taker asks the person making the burger on loud speaker. who says I made them spicy. Knew no one takes responsibility and either will blame customer or order taker will chief blame the Chef Asked to send photos for the burgers. Which I felt not worth the time and hassle argue with them and left it. Highly disappointed with service.

Been here half an hour ago very disappointed with the burger had cheese and mayonnaise everywhere cheese sauce all over the packaging expected cheese slice but they gave cheese sauce instead

Food is okay for the price however recently the chips seem to be pre-fried and just reheated as they are soft and soggy. Spicy burger is nice if you can handle spice. Service is always 5/5 and efficient, wouldn’t recommend women going inside as lots of males are inside.

Specifically asked for a spicy dip burger but got a normal burger with a tub of chilli sauce (the same one which they would use to dip it in) on the side. Maybe they misunderstood. The burger was dry and below average. A lot More expensive than Miamis too

Phillys burger is probs on the best burgers in Manchester. It’s propa spicy and tender. It can be too spicy so u can’t enjoy it as much but it’s orite. Price is decent and their chips are ice and hot

It used to be the best burger place in Cheetham hill, but their food quality has deteriorated recently, especially their chips. They are not fresh and seem to have been fried well in advance and reheated in the microwave or something. We used to love to buy chicken from there, but unfortunately, not anymore .

First I have no idea what the fuss about some deep fried greasy chicken that served on a dead white bun and chips that have been sat there for how ever long .. over rated place for sure. The staff are not exactly all friendly and professional .. bit moody and bravado type … I challenged them about the chips and he was questioning me what is wrong with them when they been sat there for atleast 5-10 minutes and pulled his face when asked for fresh ones . Wanted to educate him customer is always right and not to argue .. the girl on the till has head scarf and is scared to make a joke or interact with you in case the men say something … nothing unique in my opinion and can get better value for money and vibe as everyone sells the same food

Ordered on Just Eat at 14:30. Got a notification from Just Eat at 15:45, to say my food was on it's way and it would be delivered around 16:15. I called at 16:30 and food hadn't left the shop yet, called again at 16:45 and the food still hadn't left the shop. 2 men on the phone were very rude and wouldn't let me cancel the order. I will NEVER order from here again. When the food did arrive it was overly greasy and cold.

Unfortunately we waited for an hour and 15 minutes to get the delivery. We got the spicy double burger and fried chicken and chips. The chicken pieces were cold, bland, stale, and tasteless. The burger was cold and was nothing special. The chips were cold and glazy Unfortunately all went to the bin. First time to order from this place due to the good reviews, however, this was my experience.

Location: filth Food : 3/10 Bone in my wrap, these man don’t even take care of what food they give to people. Some sloppy gravy. This is what the definition of an absolute flat scran is.

Their service is always quick and efficient, no matter how busy. The spicy option for their chicken burger is quite spicy, if you're not able to hack spice I'd recommend the standard one. Can't go wrong with their pricing and they have a great menu for children too.

Absolutely banging food!! I would highly recommend the spicy chicken burger and wings but make sure to to the till operator to make it extra hot if you want to taste the chillis, really nice food and every time I am in Manchester I always come here for lunch or a brunch. Highly highly recommended this place to any one who's stopping by.

Poor. It’s like boss had the food ready before we even called it’s 26/05/2023 and we ordered at around 11pm. Chips were so bad we laughed at them, not what u want from a phillys especially on a Friday, want monyy back. I had to give it to the dog…
