Paid £17 for freezing cold food. My partner went to the drive thru and came home (which is a stone throw away) and the full items especially the chips were absolutely disgusting. Worst McDonald's in North East, possibly the UK. With rude unhelpful staff, every order gets something wrong. It's consistently terrible food, thrown together and haphazardly wrapped. Awful chips, awful coffee. Tonight I ordered a wrap with grilled chicken, after a stupidly long wait I got a crispy breaded chicken wrap. Fries were cold and stale. Coffee burnt and acrid. One to avoid if you have any other option.

Well I'm not happy at all about the service you get at this place the staff seem to be to busy talking with each other to get the order right it's gone right down hill the manager clearly is not capable of his roll in the place and has one of the worse McDonalds are people are avoiding the place so its costing the company money but hey if the owner cant see something is wrong then keep going. Out of 10 daily visits 3 times I've had what I've ordered right now that is saying something about what the place is being run like your never offered any sugar or the wooden sticks to mix with it's like the told not to offer them. The staff cant engage with the customers as the to busy talking to each other I waited an extra 5 mins for the lady who was making the hot drinks while she leaned over the counter sharing a pic with her friend what resulted in her giving me two wrong drinks anyway I was fuming so rang up the manager who gave me a code so to compensate the wrong drinks that he didnt even put in the book come on how embarrassing is this place going to get just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. But hey who are we? Just the people paying the wage that's who so if your wanting to avoid disappointment and staff with no customer skills what so ever then avoid this place like the clap. No hi hello nothing just miserable and in full flow conversation with each other. When hiring staff do the look for zero people skills or what go McDonalds that's the way to a mans wallet and hitting your targets keep going and soon the doors will be closed so good luck and hope management get some balls and get the staff issues sorted out.

All McDonald’s are basically the same, so you know what you are getting. I popped in with my daughter and we sat in, we were given a table number and the young lad who bought our tray over was friendly, my daughter decided to order more fries and a drink and the young lad returned, he was really nice and offered to take our other tray and rubbish away, it’s little things such as helpful staff that make places stand out!

I popped in for breakfast whilst my car was being serviced. The choice of food on offer was good and the free Wi-fi allowed me to get on with some work whilst I enjoyed my porridge. Best of all, I didn’t need to speak to anyone because I found out that you can now put your order in on your phone! Happy days.

Hotel restaurant was under refurbishment so ventured out for my daily dosage of porridge. McDonalds porridge is very good, better than most of the hotels that offer it up. Lots of parking, plenty of seating and in the middle of a shopping centre what more could a girl want. Easy to get to even during the roadworks.

My experience of this mc donalds is mostly to do with their disabled parking.......or lack of it. My wife is disabled and we do enjoy a mc donalds ocasionaly, but their lack of disabled parking is a disgrace. There are only three disabled bays and at busy times we find inconsiderate people have parked in them without displaying a disabled badge. Their appears to be no management checks and we have even observed people parked in the bays while a member of staff has delivered a drive through meal .

Haven't had a Mcflurry in ages!Fancied one tonight so my other half drove over about 9pm tonight, I got Cadburys caramel and he got creme egg.He came home and the tubs were all sticky, neither of them had chocolate in like they're supposed to, they were just ice cream with a small out of the sauce on as most of it didn't even reach inside. It was like the person wasn't watching what he was doing.They're much much smaller than what they used to be too. Definitely wasn't missing much.

We were hoping this had improved after the recent refit and decided to give it another go after being pestered by the grandchildren - big mistake !Fast food it isn't. After standing about with our ticket, feeling as though we were in Argos, the food eventually arrived.Two of the four meals were wrong and after much eye rolling and tutting from the staff member, they were replaced, one of them still wrong !The burgers seemed to be thrown together and had to be reassembled by us, the lettuce was brown and the bun crumbly and virtually stale.At nealy £20, it was a massive disappointment.My advice - avoid it.

Not as keen on this McDonalds since the refurb. The place is cleaner and has better seating. However do not like the new ordering system where you wait to order at either a screen or till, then are given a ticket number to then join another line to wait for your order (reminds me very much of a retailer with the same system!). Would prefer just to wait once. On a positive note I have never had a hot meal from a McDonalds until this visit, previously meals have been warm.

As a 'treat' for my 7 year old, we used the drive through. Easy enough to place our order and food came quick enough.However when we went to eat, we had none of the dips we asked for, no napkins and the chips tasted as though they had been reheated and left to cool again, yuck! My expectations are not very high, in fact I think the only reason my little one wanted to go was for the happy meal toy, but this was by far the worst meal i have ever had! Wish i had saved my money and gone elsewhere.

Today I visited this McDonald's as my 4 year old son was unwell and wanted a happy meal and milk shake so I went to the drive threw after waiting 2 and a half munits no answer I drove along to the window and was greeted by kirsty who said I take it you did not make you're oder at the station I said no I tried fr 2 and.a half munits. She then gave me the worse attitude ever saying I am busy and can't do two things at once I said so how am I to know this if you didn't tell me she then started telling me she can take my oder I said no it is okay what is you're name she then told me I can't give you my name I said I want to make a complaint about you're people skills and how you have carried yourself. It was disgusting she then ended her cheek by saying I have a job implied that I don't have a job no I employ people and a director of my own law firm so she will know when tomorrow I shall be writing a letter to the costumer service department voicing my views. The manege was no help when a member of my law firm rang to complain so this is not the end of this disgusting attitude and behavior. What a rubish place to ever go again.

This has been refurbished so I thought it might be a bit better. NO. It has a new system for ordering the food and the staff now bring your food to the table. When the food arrived chips were warmish but hamburger was cold. My daughter took it back and the assistant said how long ago did you order it. So I was not impressed by her attitude. Was given another but it didn't stay hot for long either. So not impressed. Another issue I had was the disabled parking the bays have been moved further round and there are only 3 spaces which are next to the bays where you wait for food ordered via the drive thru. So when these spaces are full people now park in the disabled bays and wait for the food. I couldn't get a disabled space through this situation. And as I have difficulty walking it was further for me to walk to the restaurant from the car park. I mentioned it to a staff member who was taking food orders to the cars and she said she couldn't go any faster. The disabled bays should be for disabled people only not for people waiting for orders. The staff don't seem bothered. So I will not be visiting this restaurant again. Its more for able bodied people not disabled people!!

i feel that the food is often sat far too long on the pass, therefore is practically cold by the time the customer gets it. I ordered a breakfast with a cappuccino, they gave me a coke, I gave it back and repeated that I'd ordered a cappuccino. The female staff member said "well I'll have to charge you for it" I said "I don't think so, this is your mistake not mine", another member of staff intervened and gave me my cappuccino! Give yourselves a good shake management and sort your staff and restaurant out!

The food is dreadful and when they got most of my order wrong the manager Carl agreed he would personally do my order for me, what could go wrong I mean he's an experienced manager, WRONG even he couldn't complete a simple order. Its McDonalds....lets be honest. The whole point of you going there is because you're hungry and its quick. Does this place really need a review. Seriously, if you feel you need to check this place out before you go, you don't understand the concept of a fast food chain. And any review you place on here is just going to be ignored. Eat or don't eat here, whatever. It pretty much does what it says on the sign. And if you're so upset with customer service, complain to the staff because going home and being passive aggressive to your pc isn't gunna get you a free happy meal. Anyway this place is fantastic for chicken nuggets at 4am in the morning. Some taxi drivers will even take you through drive thru! 2015 is my year! Keep the good work McD's on behalf of all drunks! GOOD JOB.

Went just after breakfast for 2 cheeseburgers at 10:50. Terrible, they obviously had 2 hamburgers that were there from 10:25 just before the menu change. They put 2 pieces of cold cheese onto the dried up burgers, never even bothered to melt or reheat it on the grill. The worst cheeseburgers ever purchased at a McDonald's.
