They took so slow and then lost my order

The worst McDonald’s I have ever been to and I’ll never be coming here again. The customer service that’s provided by the members of staff is non existent. They all look miserable, not one of them cracked a smile or happily interacted with the customers. I ordered on the touch pad and then I proceeded to wait 20-25 minutes for my food amongst a large crowd who were also waiting for their food. The screens were showing a large list of numbers for the orders that apparently were ready but nothing was at the counters, so either the screens need fixing or the members of staff weren’t ticking the orders off as they were getting completed, it wouldn’t surprise me if they weren’t trained for this either. I saw my food getting prepped and then waited another ten minutes because putting a burger and some fries into a bag is very time consuming. The coke I ordered was flat and warm as they had no ice which just topped off my experience in this hell hole. The area was disgusting and so dirty, I wish I read the reviews before coming here. So all in all, if you want a burger that looks like it’s been sat on and you’re happy waiting for almost half an hour for your food and you like interacting with members of staff who couldn’t give two hoots about customers, this is the place for you. If I could give it less than one star, I would.

Featuring the surliest employee ever. I asked for ketchup and he looked at my like I'd just insulated his mother before dropping it in without a word. I had the temerity to ask for a second. He looked at me like I'd just sat on his hamster. And dropped one more in. Not a word, no chance of a smile and thank you. Being a seventeen year old lad is not an excuse for poor service.

Got food poisoning from here, I ordered the new mc ribs. Disappointed, never again

I had an extremely frustrating experience at McDonald’s, mainly because of the poor service from an employee named SOFIA. I ordered a plain ice cream and paid at the counter. As it’s not on the menu, a plain ice cream should be quick and easy to prepare. Instead, I ended up waiting 34 minutes, which is absolutely unreasonable for something so simple, especially when I had an appointment to get to at the Apple Store. While waiting, Sofia was shouting out order numbers. When I politely asked her to check on my order, she responded rudely and aggressively, saying, ‘HOW LONG YOU BEEN WAITING?’ I told her it had been a while, but before I could explain, she cut me off, loudly saying, ‘IT IS WHAT IT IS, YOU GOTTA WAIT,’ and walked away without any apology or explanation. When my order finally came, she handed it off to another employee, avoiding any interaction. There was no smile, no basic customer service. It felt dismissive and disrespectful. I wasn’t the only customer having issues either; several others looked frustrated. Waiting 34 minutes for a plain ice cream is unacceptable, and Sofia’s attitude made the experience even worse. She needs to be reminded that she’s only on minimum wage! And how important it is to treat customers with respect and courtesy. It’s disappointing, and I hope management addresses this.

super busy but staff kept their cool with quick efficient work, good communication and a friendly delivery, order was accurate and super quick despite a rushed environment and unfortunately impatient customers.

Very bad customer service. Even when you order only a coffee

What a crazy bad experience. It was a Saturday near lunch, so I understand it was busy. Directed by someone who I presume was a manager to use the screen. Tried payment 3 times but payment failed. I called the manager over to let him know and he said he knew the card machine didn’t work! Why send me there in the first place?? He took us to a counter to pay. The young girl that was serving should not be customer facing. She barely spoke to me, and yawned all the way through the transaction. No “thank you” or anything at the end, just handed a receipt. Then I waited nearly 20 minutes for my food, all the time the guy that I presume was the manager kept shouting out numbers at a ridiculous volume and included some crazy phrases that he shouted out when calling the numbers. I presume he thinks he’s funny, but it comes across as unhinged behaviour!! I will not return to this McDonalds again.

Nice to treat yourself to a breakfast meal. Plenty of seating in the Trafford Centre to sit and people watch

20 minute wait for a couple of cheese burgers that looked like they'd been stepped on and a warm coke... Yea, I won't bother again

Was completely shocked to see 2 managers stood there wilst the chef in kitchen was moping the floor and touching the dirty mop bucket and then made my burger without washing his hands .. they took burger from him and tried to hand it me like it was normal… as a manager of one of the restaurant on the Trafford centre that completely shocked me I had to tell them he just made my burger without washing his hands .. shocked and disgusted

Sooooooo soooo abysmally awful, slow, painfully slow and can’t ever get an order right! Always throw the fries in so they’re all at the bottom of the bag too. Always forget sauce too, even the ones you pay for. Always find hair in the food, can maccies not make sure their staff wear hair nets instead of having their long locks waving around all over the food? There was no nuggets available which was odd.. I’m at fault at this point as I’m the fool who keeps returning!

It's terribly poor when it's busy as there is no crowd management and ordering of a single item (e.g. a wrap) can take nearly twenty minutes with missing item twice. Manager wasn't bothered and although offered another one I did have time to wait It's been better when it's quiet as the staff can actually concentrate on getting order right, and email support has been a lot better

Expect a 15 minute wait for the wrong order at anytime!

You can always judge a MacDonalds by its fries I reckon, I’ve had fresher delivered by Uber eats.

I get MacDonalds every Saturday or when I come to the Trafford Centre in some days I get the fish o fellet and my borther and sister gets the mac plant

attended early in the morning with a hungry stomach and decided i would like to indulge in a lovely sausage and egg mcmuffin. i received my meal with the upmost speed (it was rather quiet) which i was delighted by… however, upon opening my sausage and egg mcmuffin i discovered that my sausage and egg mcmuffin was eggless! As an egg enthusiast i am disappointed in this as i was quite looking forward to biting into my muffin and seeing that white and yellow goodness placed within.

Possibly the worse CrapDonald's in Britain. Despite being the only punter in there and stood at the counter with a 20 quid note waiting to pay cash they studiously ignored me while prepping breakfasts for the phone drones. Maybe change their name to degenerate wasters R'Us.

Forgot my sauces despite me paying for 2 BBQ sauces and 1 tomato on the receipt

Very Bad!!!! I waited for an hour for a big Mac Menue and inside my big Mac was hair.

Terrible wait we was herded like cattle,40 minute wait then we got given wrong order really upset with the manager,chaman was very rude seemed to not care,no customer service what so ever really not happy do not eat here

I went there with my friends and we were paying with cash, the customs manager told us to pay where and when they called out our number and we had been waiting for about 45 mins and when they did call out our number they told us that we needed to pay somewhere else so we payed there and asked for our food when we got back and they said that we would have to wait again until it was ready so we had to wait for another 30 mins until we complained and finally got our order and found out that they had forgotten the straws and sauces

Ordered double cheese burger meal bun was cold meat to salty took the burger back and the look I got was disgusting. Staff were shouting order numbers out one Staff threatened to put the food in bin if wasn't collected which they did. Disgusting behaviour

Terrible service and rude woman at till

I'm sure what everyone is expecting from a McDonald's and nothing is different in this one. The added feature comes as the restaurant is inside the Trafford centre and therefore it may be impossible to find seating on the busier days and weekends. Other than that the food is nice, staff try the hardest and are usually prompt with orders.

Little crowded in weekends but nice place to visit with kids.. lots of entertainment, variety of foods, fairs and yes shopping 🛒🛍️😉😅

This McDonald's isn't the best, they have all kinds coming in and lurking about but the food is the same as any other McDonald's.

Poor service, no display of order numbers and coke was without any fizz.

This is my comfort zone. Whenever I want to unwind and reflect upon the happenings, I visit here, have a great burger, with a drink and catch up again where I had left. A place for families, with young children, and everyone who enjoys a real hamburger or cheese burger. There is vegetarian option also available. Enjoy. Thank you

Slow service, in experienced rude staff. No people skills at all. After waiting 30 mins for my food, requested milk and sugar. When I asked for more sugar one member of staff refused to give me more as they aren’t allowed which I know is a lie as I never have this issue there before. When she finally gave me it she just threw it at me and walked off. No apologies or anything for the wait or bad attitude. Avoid this one at all costs.

Great service and the food was nice and fresh.

I'd say they get my order correct about 70% of the time. Always half filling fries cups as well, not been a time where I've asked them to fill it. Order screen also never works so it causes mayhem at weekends.

The Triple Cheeseburger is a lot better than Wythenshawe McDonald’s near Shell Petrol Station.

Efficient staff, very quick. It does get a bit crowded in the bit where you wait for your food. Only a small area, so might be tricky for anyone with buggy or wheelchair.

When ringing the store the gent on the phone said we haven’t had an order for 2 hours the liar only didn’t want resolve the issue because they close at 11 disgusting customer service

Ive definitely had better experiences at McDonald's. Granted this place was busy and at lunch so a peak time. However my wait for food was 15 mins when it arrived it was luke warm, when I got to the family to serve up some was missing. Went back to query which was dealt with professionally. But I had to wait 10 mins to get somebody's attention then when I got to my food back with the family mine was cold. Not from my family, although not nice cleaning somebody else's vomit it needs to be done instead of leaving it whilst asking staff if they have the stomach. Come on manager's lead by example and get stuck in.

Not too bad. It is what we all expect food wise from McDonald's. Premises were relatively clean and staff were friendly enough. Can't really fault it but nothing worthy of praise either.

Service and food generally ok. However reliance on the staff shouting out order numbers with no visual cues makes me wonder how any one who is deaf or hard of hearing is supposed to know when thair order is ready. Especially as this store is located in a busy food court.

Food was near cold, had to ask for someone to get on the till so I could pay. not to bad of a wait but could have been quicker as the place was empty. But everything tasted good. Ice cream machine was actually working lol.

A great restaurant if you are looking for fast food.

No order number screen which is the worst situation making the place crowd and people fighting. And please please make sure you gets everything, when its rush they miss so many items. Food is alright as McD standard.

Never work here, it’s hell. The managers are abusive.

If you or your kids want to have a bit decent meal and desert, this franchise is not the right place. Small place with a 'mob' of customers. I was with three small kids, somehow ordered food. Milk shake, ice creams and sweet treats were unavailable. Machine did not give receipt so no record of payment or order number. Guy controlling the queue was 'pushing' to go there and there. He tried to bring food bag to me without ketch up, sauce or tissue papers saying this is too busy. Being busy is good for franchise and this is not good to start 'pushing the customers. The franchise probably is concentrating on making money and not investing on improvement of the place

1*...not for the staff they deserve more ** to put up with the new franchise operating rules, its the new system of self order and delivery type customer. The drive through was choc a block so I went into the store. The touch button ordering is inefficient, the staff are making up online orders that are sat there going cold, the place is full of delivery drivers. To be honest the McDonald's model is totally unrecognisable, the Broadheath branch is also. It used to be happy and buzzing. Its a cold automotive process now and not customer centred. The staff are worked off their feet providing orders to invisible customers, no wonder the car queue was so long!!! Food is ok but the whole experience is terrible. Bring back paid staff who have a smile, and take away all the middle aged men hanging around waiting to drop off fries. You need to be better McDonald's...much better.

Had one of the first batches for breakfast and was definitely had a fresh batch with new oil as the hash browb was just crispy golden brown!

It was a busy Saturday when we visited and the service was quick and staff were friendly.

It's a Macdonald's what more can I say. You either love it or hate it.

Food was cold and waited ages as uber eats and just eat was collecting

We’ve now decided not to go to a MacDonalds again. They’ve taken on too much with the delivery aspect, drive through and eat in and it seems that dine in customers are at the bottom of the service pile. It seems to be the same wherever we go but our last visit was the worst. 30 mins wait for cold food. We did get a refund as I couldn’t wait any longer for food. It wasn’t fair on the kids. It’s supposed to be a fast food restaurant and it really isn’t any more. The tables are always dirty and I have to ask for them to be wiped and that seems to be standard now. There’s just not enough staff and probably not enough room in the kitchens for what MacDonalds are trying to do. The staff work flat out so it’s not their fault but enough is enough for us.

Quite good with many options for meals. I strongly suggest it. However my topchoice for a burger and a free botomless drink is the "five guys "

Fast food contributing to an obesity pandemic in children

If the guy shouting orders isn't Manager, he needs to be. We need more people with that confidence in the workplace.

It's best to visit this place earlier than later in the day as it gets very busy on the tills and the order points. Most of the staff are friendly and polite my special needs daughter doesn't like it when the person starts shouting for people to move forward and every1 crowds round each other and then your packed like sardines and she gets panicky as she feels like she cant move.

Always busy and confusing. Not much room as you wait for takeout, deliveries take up a lot of staff time and machines self service work not so well. Yesterday not get receipt or number had to ask. Everyone bustled together in each other ways. Fries hit or miss if warm or cold but generally good food.

Abysmal! Half the order screens don't work, some of the others don't print receipts so you have to rely on brief glimpse of the order number. None of the collection screens work. Understaffed & disorganised. Even worse than it was 2 weeks ago. Took more than 15 minutes to get two milkshakes.

Food was cold. Service was slow. Won't be back in eush.

Did not go in absolutely packed went in to Berger King better quality burgers and service
