McDonalds in Cheshire East

Very busy but not really caring about customers, it looks like not enough people have been ordered for shift, dirty food hall with fully loaded bins.

Machines weren’t working so told to go to the desk. At the desk a customer informed me it’s cash only…clearly the member of staff wasn’t going to tell me that until after I’d ordered! Luckily I had cash so placed my order and asked for a burger with no pickles. The member of staff said they don’t put pickles in the burgers anyway. So I informed her they’re also called gherkins and I don’t want any. No she says, they definitely don’t sell those in their burgers. Order turned up and inside…yes you guessed it…pickles! Sat down and the fries were missing so back up I go. All in all a stressful visit and unhelpful staff members who perhaps need more training on what products they are selling!

Big Mac meal, no gherkins! Not to everyone's taste but a little sloppily put together similar to the other meals we had on the day. No napkins available had to return to the counter to get some, and the look I got when asking was as if they were being paid for out of their wages! Sorry, not great.

Both my Bigmac and fries were hot. Drink tasted as expected. Served in a reasonable time

This required a team effort and could only be achieved if everyone played their part. I have been a Mc Donald's patron for many years and have visited franchises all over USA, South Africa, New Zealand, Dubai and the UK. This visit took me back 13 years where the Mc Donald's standard was at it's absolute peak (my opinion). I have not experienced this quality anywhere in the world since 13 years ago until I paid for order 30 on 21/01/2025. The burger was the absolute highlight, with a juicy set of patties and perfect sauce balance, in McDonald's terms, it was a work of art. Everything else was at the same level of quality, freshness and I was so taken aback by this pleasantly surprising experience on the side of the motorway, that I had to personally thank the manager on duty and ask to pass on to the staff. Now I'm asking to honour them at a corporate level, for such hard work and excellence deserves high praise. I will go out of my way to eat at this establishment again. Well done to the dedicated team!!!

Food 3 star and McDonald's. Service 1 star as there appears not to be a human actually servicing the restraunt. Only someone bringing food through after ordering one touch screen!

Filthy disgusting place. Covered in flies everywhere and old food all over the floor. Not hard to have a member of staff clean the tables and sweep the floor! Wouldn't return ever again in this lifetime!

Unbelievable delivery we got half the order missing and the we was on the fone to Mcdonalds and the manager don't give a shit about the missing items

Found the staff to be impolite and unfriendly! The irony of a member of serving staff wearing a bright but ill fitting Christmas jumper and then just BARKING order numbers at people. No friendliness, no thank you or enjoy your meal etc.

The McDonald's business model is well established, customers know what to expect, how much to pay and staff how to deliver the service. Not rocket science and works well, for the most part.

Extremely bad customer service to the point will never use this facility. Had £10 note folded over as in small wallet. So they tried to put it through a scan machine to see if it was fraudulent money, which it wasn't as the bank cashier gave it to me. But because it was folded the machine would accept it like the do at self service tills at supermarkets, so they refused to serve me. This under law is false accusations by stating and refusing to serve basically stating, in not so many words, the money was a fraud £10. So they also have accused me of being a fraudster. If you are reading this stay well away from this McDonalds.

M6 McDonald's Sandbach Southbound. Always fresh food here, quick service and efficient staff. Tables cleanliness can sometimes let them down but today wasn't too bad.

Stop here on most of my trips home to Blackpool. As it is at the services it is always mega busy but is still decent and fast food.

I have never reviewed a MacDonalds before. Why would I? You order via the kiosk, they give you your food, you eat it and leave. It's not supposed to be an epic social experiment on patience where dozens of people stand around waiting for food watching MacDonalds stuff stand around unable to hand out food to the waiting customers Loads of food and drinks prepared but they process one ticket at a time and if one item is missing they can't hand out any more food. Whatever is not working is resulting in EVERYONE waiting ages for cold food and flat drinks. Indifferent staff and angry management doesn't help the situation. I feel real sorry for those working here being let down by awful processes and incompetent management. Whoever is the duty manager today - needs to rethink whether they should be in the customer service industry - as a bit of an explanation would go a long way. The food? Same ol' tat as everywhere else. Filled a hole ... Eventually!

I went here with my wife 2 days back. It was a good experience. The service was fast. An employ named Jeevan took my order, he was friendly and fast. Satisfied with the service.

The staffs are friendly and efficient in what they do. I was travelling on a coach and was in a rush to get my order. As soon as I told an employ about my situation he took action and made sure I didn't miss my coach and guess what, I made it. Thank you Jeevan for the service.

The 5th Macdonald's I have tried with the new touch screens. 3 screens did not have milkshakes on them and the 4th would not allow the order through. Using the touch screens takes much longer than human ordering plus then a long wait for the items. I'll give Macdonald's a miss from now on and go to a human interface fast food outlet.

A dump with rude unhelpful staff. No ketchup or napkins & when i finally stopped being ignored by staff the items were practically thrown at me without any words & the staff member went back to chatting to colleagues!

Appallingly dirty. Smelly dog sat with its owners right next to other diners. Sauces splattered and smeared on floors and tables. I was asked to leave a review by one of the staff who brought our food over, which is incredible considering quite how vile the place was. I’m not sure what kind of review they thought I would leave. It’s McDonald’s so the expectations are never astoundingly high, but basic hygiene (and not allowing dirty, smelly animals in where people eat) would be the baseline.

Starting to show it's age, the food was hot and OK but the tables were dirty, scratched, chairs are looking unloved.

Wow, what an absolute dump, staff just walking over waste on floor, flys around the ketchups, on the counter, old order tickets around food area, a dirty manky bin next to the serving counter!!Rubbish in most areas actually , I’m shocked, absolute disbelief, and quite honestly a health hazard. No regard for hygiene at all, considering it’s in complete view to the customers! This is not acceptable at any time of the day, but at 01:15 the place should be spotless. I may even take this further as the staff on shift need sacking… No excuses McDonald’s…this is the food industry

We have eaten McDonalds in many countries and many places in the UK. This Sandbach branch is particularly good. It wasn’t the best a couple of years ago but is the best around at present. Food is fresh, well prepared and presented as it should be. Drinks were also spot on. Couple of negatives; I would like to be offered or just given napkins as a matter of course instead of having to ask. The staff should not be turning their backs on customers whilst stood at the window and ketchup should also be offered without having to ask. All that being said, pleasant staff and most importantly, excellent food. Keep up the good work.

I had to reassemble my Big Mac as it looked like it was dragged out of ground zero. The kid doing the chips was squeezing the card boxes so tight barely any chips fit in, then he proceeded to put them in the bag upside down. The oasis was too cold, my girlfriend was crying.

Worst McDonalds ever. Usually their food is something reliable. But this one is really bad. Chips & Chicken Nuggets are completely tasteless, McChicken and McVeggie were way too spicy. Disappointing…

It's Mcdonald's so you get the service and atmosphere as expected, but the food was awful the fries were either bity and crisp or just limp. Not the long bouquet they advertise. Also got tummy issues soon after

Yummy breakfast bap. Poor service which could be much faster if organised properly. My food, along with a lot of other's, sat for ages while the server made loads of drinks - not to go with the food but for individuals. Then when he'd finished making drinks he served those first. I know there is an order to this service by why make the food so quickly if you then have to wait an age for delivery?

I like Premier Inn as I've stayed in a few and have never had any issues with them. Good value for money. This location is ideal location when attempting the NC500 and for visiting John OGroats and Dunnet Head

Absolute joke been waiting for door for 1 hour 20 and the orders then disappeared off the board. 30 mins to get a refund just escaped the parking charge. Sort your restaurant out McDonald's. Please feel free to contact me.

Waited 20mins till I walked out. Staff where slow, looking like they couldn't give a care in the world. Never bothered to serve me at the till when they clearly new I was there as 2 of them spotted me. Walked out.

On my way to manchester this afternoon we went into the motorway services to grab some lunch, and had an extremely fulfilling experience!! We ordered two meals and were impressed by not only the service of the young girl, Scarlett, on the counter, but also by the manners presented by Scarlett and her coworkers, who brought to me amazing food at an amazing speed. All in all, a most pleasant dining experience.
