McDonald's in Reading

The issue is the drive thru. No matter time, day or order... you will be told to park up an wait. Wouldn't be an issue if there was more than 10 parking spaces. So everyone then has to fight for somewhere to dump their vehicle an idle, which causes issues for people coming in, people who are trying to leave... the 50+ uber eats an just eat delivery drivers hovering around. It's insane. If you're ordering a standard menu item there is no reason you should have to park up an wait, that was literally the whole ethos of mcdonalds, kitchen to counter in 60 seconds or something like that... watch the founder movie you'll see what I mean.

Slow service, prioritising drive through and deliveries over restaurant customers. No customer service, restaurant was very dirty, tables not clean, toilets in a disgusting state. Only had a take out coffee which I now wished I paid extra and went somewhere else.

Pleasant staff. It is very convenient to order food. Of course, the food is also delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the tablets on the large table. Parents have something to keep the kids busy. There are also traditional colors.

Unfortunately, my recent visit to McDonald’s was overshadowed by a disappointing experience with the staff. From the start, they seemed uninterested and dismissive. When I asked a simple question about the menu, I was met with an irritated response, making me feel like I was a bother rather than a valued customer. The service felt rushed, and my order was handed over with 1 portion of fries missing and salt on the fries when even though I told them I want fries without salt. It created an uncomfortable atmosphere. I parked the car and went in and explain them but I felt that my experience didn’t matter to the team working there so I got refunded and return the food back. McDonald’s usually delivers fast, friendly service, so this was unexpected. I hope the staff at this location can improve their approach to create a more welcoming environment for everyone.

Love this place so good just don't eat too much

Small and tight lay out of the car park in this retail park in general. The layouts of the restaurant that some time can cause havoc if you want to park in front of the restaurant when there is a long queue from the drive thru that sometimes causes impatient drivers will use the exit of the restaurant car park which is dangerous. It would be good if the restaurant or park management would find a way to deter impatient drivers to this.

Ordered a large meal and charged for a large only to come home and find a medium sized meal no dips with the meals either

Completely wrong order delivered !!!!! Theres always an issue

drink was spilt in bag. only ended up with half drink. due to spillage the bag leaked all over carpet. not happy.

Driver picked up.3 orders at same time and i had to watch him deliver everyone else's whilst mine got colder and colder ...driver lied when questioned...we can see you on the map bro!!!

Fast service inside the shop despite the busy hour and the long queue of cars on the drive service. The sandwiches were freshly cooked and properly made. One of my favourite mcdonald's

Still no refund from not receiving my food last night

cold food, as driver who couldn't read English, couldn't find my house, which has been here for nearly 100 years!! So when order was marked as delivered I had to go into the street to look for him, found him, after a phone call, in a block of flats no where near my house!

Pre ordered this for a set time a still arrived 20 minutes late food was cold and no sauces sweet curry as asked for. Straws were soaked so couldn’t use either with drinks. Most dissatisfied been in a long long time!!!

The staff are not very amiable. Whenever there has been a delivery guy they have always been very much indulged in some sort of small talk. It seems they are always turning a deaf ear to the delivery guy. Most of the staff don't even like to greet you in a pleasant manner. Most of the time the delivery driver will have to ask them for their multiple times and they always pay a deaf ear.

Food was cold when delivered and had to be re warmed

the delivery driver actually handed me a bag with my drink knocked n crushed n EMPTY. it was still dripping. n asked is it OK? well no it's not. my chips were cold n my philly steak burger was cold. it was a complete let down n waste of money

my my orders have come with two spilt coffees two wrong coffees and one missing item how do they manage to get it this wrong

I am a senior citizen, and placed a large McDonald's order online as my adult son and I are disabled and housebound. The order arrived but without my Big Mac which I was looking forward to having. I ended up eating just chips. Tried to phone to speak to someone at McDonald's at Oxford Road but nobody is answering the phone. Even if I get refunded for the Big Mac, I ended up without my lunch aged 80. Its diabolical one cannot speak to any Customer Services.

Having regular breakfast in this MacDonald, the food temperature is often away below 63'C. I am sure they are not serious about importance of food served temperature.

My large drink was half full on delivery not to happy about that the McMuffin was good but my extra hash brown was missing and my wrap otherwise tasty McMuffin and drink

everytime we order always forget out items, and we never get refunded for them either. this is why I stopped ordering with justeat!

Iced caffe latte was disgusting. It didn’t even taste of coffee - just sweet. Way too much syrup. The pancakes were dry and (I’m not sure if they still come with it because it’s so long since I had a Maccas pancake) no butter. The tables were filthy. This place was refurbished not all _that_ long ago, but it is starting to feel shabby again.

James was fantastic and very friendly

half the burger was in the box, the other half was in the bottom of the bag.... Not the delivery persons fault as the bag is sealed. This is lazy McDonalds staff. I asked for no lettuce but all I did get was a tiny bit of onion, nothing else. The burger was dry and inedible as most of it wasn't in the box so who knows when it was dropped....

Second time we’ve not received the full items we ordered. It’s not that hard to get it right!

Driver turned up with his bag open. Took the first bag out and it was dripping everywhere - the drink had spilt. Then took the food out and that was also wet! Then when I said I didn't want it, he wouldn't take it back and said I had to contact you!

Posted hours are not accurate at all. I went to go buy food at 11pm and they said they closed at 10.45pm not 00.45 like it says here.

The only McDonald’s that actually filled my McFlurry right to the top. Ordered a Biscoff McFlurry and they filled it up right to the top. The McDonald’s in town gave me a HALF FILLED McFlurry, so I won’t be returning there.

May have been a language barrier, but I asked for Sprite as a drink and received Water instead. Other than that, the food was very fresh, hot and tasted really good. Kids also enjoyed their Happy Meals.

I'm allergic to onions so ordered a plain double cheeseburger. Took a few bits and felt something crunchy that happened to be pieces of onion. Spent the night in A&E because of this. Website doesn't help with dealing with complaints. Never going back!!!
