Dreadful if ordering via their app. Placed a simple order; 2 happy meals and 1x Large Fries. Order arrived; Large Fries missing, small fries from a happy meal missing, and a random 4x bag of nuggets included as extra? Tried to contact restaurant to rectify and correct; spent a full 30 mins (maybe a bit much for the order size...) trying to phone them. No answer, beyond phone being picked up and immediately hung up several times. App also doesn't allow to contact to discuss this.

Honestly wouldn’t even give them 1 star. I ordered a delivery through the McDonald’s app and automatically put the order through to this restaurant. Both the McDonald’s app and Google said it was open, but apparently not. Went through 3 delivery drivers just to be told it was shut. My partner rang up the branch and a worker answered saying they are closed for another half an hour. If that’s so, then update your opening hours online! And don’t accept a food order, or take money if you are not open.

Atmosphere was a basic McDonald’s restraunt other then the fact most of the tables where empty with people waiting for food I went today and ordered a takeaway from the machines the longest I’ve waited in restraunt was 15 minuets once with table service, I ordered a simple double quater pounder large meal with fries and a drink and it took in total 38 minuets for my food to come and after 30 minuets I had to go to the till and ask for the number when the manager came over and she perosnaly went to go get it, sadly they offered Nothing more then the standard scripted apology, I had booked an Uber for me and my freind who has a newborn baby alone with his partner as it was a 15 minuet walk as it was and we said it would be a 30 minuet trip not nearly an hour and a half In the Uber I did what some people do have a chip out the bag to no suprise to add on to the service they where stone cold and was basicsly just fried potatoe as they had no salt and had gone hard like they where sitting there all day and the burger was the slightest bit warm but was over cooked and hurt to swallow no matter how much I chewed and was so dry due to the lack of sauce they had put on it Only good thing about it they didn’t try do the scam most McDonald’s do with takeaways giving you half empty chip boxes they was generally full but I didn’t eat them because I didn’t want cold chips Can this McDonald’s branch tell me why I just spent just over 10£ and waited 38 minuets on cold food Honestly disgusting, I’ve been to McDonald’s in the Times Square with over 100 people in there and the service was within 10 minuets and hot It is called fast food it generalt felt like they cooked over the leftovers from yesterday and handed them out I won’t defend them other then the fact they didn’t try scam me with portions but half of it went in the bin I’m going to try and get some sort of refund or something becuase I’ve lost money and time for something VILE

Never one to post things like this but my gosh do I feel terrible for some of the staff here! We’d ordered through the app however when we went to pick up it hadn’t gone through on their end and so the lovely girl helping us didn’t know what to do - she went to ask her manager for help, Beth I think the manager’s name was, however when the girl came back over she literally said to us that her manager wasn’t very helpful and just told her to ask us if we were at the right McDonalds and to refresh our app. We did so and still nothing. She went back to her manager who sounded like she had a right go at her for no reason?? Another lovely girl ended up stepping in to try and help, we ended up cancelling my app order and she was really helpful getting the order put back through their till. She managed to prioritise it as we had already been waiting a while which we were grateful for, however we heard the manager, once again, shouting her head off and even making fun of some of the modifications we had made. Whoever was out back then still managed to pack our order wrong and we ended up with some of the wrong items, although from the manager’s behaviour I wouldn’t be surprised if this was deliberate to be honest🙄😅. Quality of the food was okay considering the circumstances, I mainly feel bad for the staff if they have to deal with this all the time!! Absolutely unacceptable behaviour especially in such an open/public environment.

Busy, and the Ready to Collect board is a complete lie because my order was 'ready' and it hadn't been started, but if you ask for it they have to make it quickly. The lady did this for me as I didn't have long and she was very friendly. Still big problems with the app: latest version saying everywhere is out of wraps at 1.99 when they're not, they're full price but available, but it wrecks your app basket. Work to do still maccies, but your staff are great. Need to shave some off pricing as Greggs and Costa is right there.

Food took ages to be made and was cold inspite of one burger being customised. One lady called Janet cleaning, was very polite. Another employee, called Lisa spent almost the entire time we were there to two colleagues on their break and looking at their phones. When they returned to work she then spent more time discussing the management team and slagging one particular manager off with another woman until she can summoned to actually do some work.

McDonald's service is rubbish!! I ordered a Mcrib meal, amongst other things like a drink and ice cream, cost 45.00 pounds. Only half the food did not get delivered! Because of the staff at Longton branch and Ubereats delivery driver would not have checked the order. Last time I come to McDonald's again!! Not the first time I've lost out on over 40 pounds because of McDonald's. One disatisfied customer. Avoid McDonald's at all costs with delivery. They are just as bad when you go into the restaurant, I waited half an hour for food to be brought to my table. Very unhappy.

I’ve given this place multiple chances, but unfortunately, the service continues to disappoint. Long wait times have become the norm, and almost every visit comes with some mistake—whether it’s the wrong order or missing items, even after paying extra for certain upgrades. The staff isn’t very friendly or helpful, which makes the experience even more frustrating. Unless you like waiting 20+ minutes for a drink and up to 30 minutes for food then I’d stay away. The drive thru is always backed up esp around 9pm. Certain workers are not very professional within this McDonald’s store. And everytime I’ve been in this store it feels like most of the tasks are left to the cleaners as you rarely see the other workers. She was cleaning, taking food out, taking food to people in the store, answering the customers questions at the front who was getting agitated. Checking where orders was, I really salute her. I must also say that on one occasion I was shocked at how the manager (think she was management) thought it was ok to speak to a customer. He had ordered a cheeseburger and after waiting 20 mins he came over and asked where it was. He didn’t have his receipt he didn’t take it off the cashier but he kept showing her, well tried to show her who had served him. She was telling him without a receipt he’s not getting nothing. Eventually after 3 minutes of him explaining which guy served him, she then proceeded to go to the back and said she was making it. Another couple of minutes passed and he is asking again how long (in no way was he aggressive, he was a young boy about 18 with his hood up and tracksuit) she then comes back snapping at him “well I’ve just had a 60£ order come through so now you can wait for your cheeseburger as I’m doing this order” ge had literally been waiting 25 minutes a order comes in and she decides he can wait because that order is more important. he asks for a refund and she is still telling him “no she’s got a 60£ order to do and he can wait” and at that point I had to tell her she was being rude to him and there was no need for how she was speaking to him. She then got confrontational with me saying “how am I being rude” waving her hands all about. Then huffs over to the cash machine and takes the coins and presses them down in his hand. I totally get it I work in retail it can test you and some customers can be so rude in how they talk to you. But this boy literally did nothing wrong he wasn’t rude to her, he wasn’t aggressive, he just wanted his cheeseburger. I won’t say her name because as I say she could have been having a bad day who am I to know and I wouldn’t want to get someone in trouble if they are already having a hard time, but she will know who she is and I hope she can work on the talking to customers with disrespect. I do hope she takes accountability in the fact she was rude to him, but who knows. Apart from that though the food has always come out hot and correct so I cannot complain about the food service.

Worst ever McDonalds experience. I pulled up to the speaker and waited while the cars in the other lane ordered and disappeared, so I waited for what seemed like 3 months. OK 5 mins, I reversed into the other lane, when I ordered I explained that I had been waiting in the other lane but there's no one there, he replied oh that's the other girl she's probably not there. Oh great, I have found a genius. I didn't ask him to explain the theory of relativity. Just either put a sign up to say lane closed or something like that, I got a "yeah." Pulled up paid, as I drove off, I put my hand in my bag and pulled out freezing cold fries. I will never be going to that mcFarce again. Sorry for the rant, but I really like my fries hot.

The delays, the attitude, the accuracy of the order and most frustratingly - the quality of the food. Edit: I wasted nigh on 50 mins here one night waiting for a small order, the restaurant was full of people waiting. One guy waited 25 mins for just a drink, he could see it on the side for ages but no one would speak to him. Bad night for them with no staff or something, yeah maybe, but when ex-staff walk in after, order then get their orders quickly and before everyone else that stings a bit. None of the staff cared at all about anyone waiting, no communication, they just kept saying they cba with the job, food was crap when it got to me. Not really sure why I waited, but there we go. I work hospitality, too, you gotta do better than that. Avoid it, go to Meir Park down the A50. They're usually busy too, but they're better.

Really dislike being asked at the table by staff "would you mind completing a short staff survery" - yes, I came here to eat the barely warm food and stone cold chips, not to be harassed and put on the spot if I want to complete a survey. Also, I totally disagree with the round up/donation option you give customers AND you highlight the donate button in bright yellow and the NO button in plain white. I wonder how many customers you've tricked into hitting 'donate' when they didn't want to. Your food is pricey as it is without bombarding customers for donations whilst trying to take in the atmosphere within your prison styled restaurants.

This is the 3rd attempt at this hole. The first time we had to throw all the burgers away as they were just slatted into a box, ripped buns, etc and was inedible. Then we tried breakfast. 45 mins waiting, for the order to be wrong and half of it stone cold. Then today's shambles. 30 minute wait, while a lad walked around the car park trying find who's order he had. Apparently it was ours. But half of the stuff missing, the rest cold, the chocolate milkshake was melted and warm. Went in to complain. Got the whole order again, with the original mistake. 2nd order, missing fries and chicken nuggets, but we could at least cobble the order together. The 'fresh' chips weren't cooked and the quarter pounder was sitting on a bed of lettuce in the box. Absolutely disgusting, that bad I think either a total revamp of staff and franchise owner or just close the thing down. * do not use this McDonald's, travel to one of the others close by*

Not many spaces to park up when collecting orders and the drive thru sent most people to park up. After waiting to collect the order it was wrong so had to go inside to get this changed anyway.

Terrible, they never have ice. They didn't even have any soft drinks, and they always had something missing from your order. So make sure you double-check before you drive off. I believe this Mcdonalds needs to be revamped they need better management and and to weed out the bad staff! I don't think I'll go back there.

If your idea of fast food is receiving it 25 minutes after ordering it, then this is the place for you! There were 2 people in front of me, so the wait times made no sense. I've been here twice now, hoping they had changed. Avoid this McDonald's at all costs

Ordered inside and no ticket was issued. A staff member said in a very rude way there was no printer (how would I have known that?) No staff were at the desk so I had to wait for the.m to pass and get their attention. Had to ask a few times where my food was. A group of the team were having a chat so nobody was preparing my order. I waited 24 minutes for a nugget meal. Only 1 lady ran in and out taking for to people who ordered with the drive-through. The fries were cold and not salted. No sauce was given. I asked and had it thrown at me as the staff member walked passed. The restaurant was very dirty.

The food is tasty ish but I was waiting for 1 hour in the drive through and I saw them dump someone's food outside on the table they only know this because they went and checked if it was theirs and it was the food is average but awful of you considering the time here. They say they are short staffed. 10/10 would NOT recommend

We have been waiting for our food for an extremely long time and when we call the shop, they don’t answer the phone or just lie to us saying they have sent the food. Very bad service will not be ordering again.

Chicken tikka masala was basically a red korma really bland and tasted very coconut, chips were really soggy and undercooked, Dupiaza was the same really bland and tasted more like bell peppers than onions really disappointed would not order from here again!!!!
