McDonald's in South Norfolk

Always has been one of the better McDonald's around. I'm loving it

Fast food? Nope, wait, wait and wait some more. It would appear that Deliverpoo / Justeat etc get priority service now. When I did eventually get my food, it was mildly warm and looked like it had shrank in the eash and been sat on. I won't be rushing back here. Given that it was 22:30hrs, one would have expected better.

Large relatively modern restaurant, usually quite busy. Service was good.

McDonald's. What else can I say.

It's not fast food and food tasted like deep fried grease.

Always clean and well kept, super friendly staff too. 👍

Order came out wrong. Manager was very quick to step in and sort it out.

Good for eat in or take out, drive through is fun.

Good food, love the new layout. Well established now and never had a problem.

I have been to many McDonald’s up and down the country. This is the only McDonalds I have been to where I feel obligated to leave a review. I couldn’t fault a single thing from this branch. The food came out piping hot, chips were perfectly crispy and salted, the food came in about 4 minutes which is amazing! The whole place was clean and tidy and the staff were all friendly too. The milkshake was filled generously to the very top and the burger was well presented and piping hot too. So not a complaint and truly the best McDonalds I’ve ever been to!

Chips cooked to perfection because from all the McDonald I've visited, these were the best & the strawberry 🍓 milk shake. Chicken nuggets were a 1 * because they didn't taste like chicken at all. Manufacturers ingredients👎

We only stop there for the toilet

This is my local McDonald's and the food always arrives nicely organised, the staff are pretty much always friendly but I do wish they would check their orders before handing them over. Nearly every single order I've placed has had more than 1 item missing. It is so frustrating, and come on how hard can it be to read a customer's order?! It has always been the same for the 20 yrs I've been using them.

Good service with friendly staff

Definitely a better McDonald's than your general high street versions. Lovely staff, unfortunately not local to us but if we're travelling through then we'll often make a point of stopping. And we don't do that for any other fast food rubbish, really says something actually.

Have to say that the new practice of serving burgers hit in McDonalds is great, in the past it was a matter of rushing to eat them whilst they were still lukewarm, it is great to be able to enjoy them in a more relaxed way. Burgers have always been of good quality there just NOT hot enough in the past. Well done McDonald's I shall be using your restaurants far more frequently now!!!!!! WELL DONE.

Well, last night 🌙 we popped in for a bite to eat, and, have to say, it was awful 😖 😱. Never had a bad meal in there up until tonight. The burgers were "flat" and cold, the fries were cold and chewy, it wasn't even busy in there as it was 10.30 at night!!!

It's McDonald's what's to be said

The food just isn’t what is used to be and it’s cold… we checked our order before leaving the car park and although it was correct unfortunately we didn’t check the temperature of the burgers… by the time we’d driven 6 minutes down the road the burgers were cold but chips were OK. The desserts were lovely (we had one of the specials - galaxy I believe). And milkshakes were fine. Next time I’ll definitely check the temperature of the food before leaving.

fantastic service! fast and cheerful with the chap passing us our food with a "ta-da!" always helps your morning when someone greets you so cheerfully. plenty napkins and food was just as ordered

Was really looking forward to McRib returning. As I know the one from Germany very well, this one didn't taste anywhere near as good as that one. And one would have thought they would be the same everywhere. The chips were rubbery and cold within 2 minutes. I think we are done with Mc Donalds. The quality has just gone down hill too much

Watta truly horrible place . Gangs of mopeds just outside door just eat n co . Food orders allways wrong Food especially the friesare always cold 🥶. Awful establishment, avoid at all costs

McDonald's had either lost the magic or I've gotten old. To be fair, I think it's a bit of both.

Don't bother with KFC just stop here, infinity better, polite and on the ball, they even sell chicken too...

Generic food served by generic people.

A classic McDonald's, very clean, good food, good parking area, but there was a long line at the drive-thru area Nd you may need to wait approximately 5 to 10 minutes.

Mcdonald's is really struggling to be a wholesome food. It's getting expensive too.

Staff are extremely rude, don't care about customers. I wanted to use my app & it said restaurant was closed so asked a member of staff who laughed & said I wish & walked off. This is the 3rd time I've found them to be rude & they regularly get orders wrong

Great Maccie d's, plenty of parking available, plenty of room inside and outside in the warmer weather. Order on the app, or inside.

Cold, floppy fries. Disappointing. McDonald's used to be a treat, now it's just a regret.

Just got lunch at the drive through. We immediately spotted that they gave us the wrong drink, and that was changed. Not a problem. We got home and discovered that a portion of fries was missing, and the 9 nugget box only contained 6 nuggets. Out of mains, sides, drinks and dessert, only the dessert was right. I strongly advise people to check every item on their order before leaving the drive through. This will probably irritate those behind you.

Mac d, standard, stingy with their ketchup and no mayo. Often get something wrong, Kids like it but I am veggie so would rather eat a bag of nuts.

With our 3 grandchildren for the day at Walberswick beach so decided to stop with them for food on the way home. They are regulars we are not. Granddaughter did the order for me on the machine and very efficient she was too. Liked the fact you can customise as not all children like a gerkhin or onions a good move made there. Children more than happy we enjoyed our food too. May not have been our first choice but an enjoyable stop on our way back home

A go to of mine during the week, this MacDonald's is always busy at a good location, but this doesn't take away from the speed of service, the staff are always friendly even when they look like they have their backs to the wall. The facility is clean and tidy, I've never seen any bins overflowing during my visits, also I know that the cleaning staff make sure their local area is also clean, you can see them walking around with the pick up sticks and bags.

Not too much you can add really it is what it is food was hot and served quickly and the restaurant was clean and tidy

I haven't been to a McDonald's for over a year. I went today with a friend, ordered at the counter. Customer service was excellent, the food and drinks delivered to our table. Food was excellent, we shall be going back.

Mcdonald what can you say! All the same food and everyone loves a macedees!!! Staff really friendly at this one. Lady who took our order and young lad who gave us our food!

Was the cleanest McDonald's I have ever been to, they could of been quicker with serving me as it was practically empty inside

Stopped for my one and only coffee today, ordered cappuccino at the drive through, 2 minutes later when I tasted it realised it was a normal white coffee, only half of the cup, tasted disgusting. Thanks for ruining my day. I work 10 hours a day and couldn't even have my one treat.

This is the worst McDonald's i have ever tried, the burgers are tiny. The drinks have mold in them and the service is very poorly slow. Do not go there unless you want to waste your money on over priced food that is moldy

We call McDonald's on our travels. So we have been to several of them. The food, the service, and the price is always the same. Excellent 👌👍

Sitting at the drive through waiting for Christmas while all the other cars that weren’t even there before get served before me. In total 4 cars got served before me while I just sat there like a lemon. Worst service going at this place, just makes people angry.

My burger looked like it was microwaved.The petty was as flat as a polony slice and it was all out of shape dry and tasted like a burger I can make myself ....Drive through

Helpful staff great selection of products and clean shop. Recommend for all fast food needs. And lots of FREE parking too.👍 obviously chips were cold and service although friendly was slow but that's what I've come to expect from this chain

A very typical McDonald's, quite busy for Sunday breakfast. But no complaints about food, service, cleanliness or parking. Just other people's noisy children as usual making it difficult for us to have a conversation.

As always with McDonald's the idea of it is always better than the experience. They always forget something from sauces to napkins.

Always good for a ride out on the bike. Loads of places to park too

i am very very disappointed in how i just got let down. these winning sips are a waste of time. i “won” i sugar donut and i was very excited, to then go up to the counter with my social anxiety and get told “sorry we don’t do them at the minute” i was calm and i said “oh can i get something else then to compensate” she says “no sorry” and i say “but i’m a winner” she then repeated no sorry. i was absolutely mortified and i will not be purchasing a drink from here EVER again. i am sobbing while writing to you. 😡

Only drop in for the coffee, the food is dire and cold.

The fact that you have to serve yourself now with those big massive tablets takes that Human factor out! On the plus side those people who aren't at the tills now bring your food to the table or your car! Food is McD's, however I was missing my onion in my side salad with it's 1 Q and 1 slice of tomato! (Pittafull excuse for a salad)

Food was not as hot as it could of been and very disappointed with the new stack burger as didn't look anything like the adverts

The staff are always polite, friendly and helpful; they are vigilant about clearing tables and sweeping floors, and do all they can to ensure we enjoy our visit. We and our grand children enjoyed a happy end of school holiday lunch last week. Thank you McDonald's Beccles.

I like mcMuffins, especially the bacon. But the meal is ruined (in my opinion) if the enclosing muffin is not toasted as per MaccyD's advertised product description. I've complained, and they are considering my case.

Always reliable and quick service. It is the only option on this estate as KFC never has any chicken.

Burgers are prepared just like that, without sauces and pickles. The food was cold. Drinks were ordered without ice, but they were given with ice. The manager kindly replaced it. I don't want to visit this establishment anymore.
