McDonald's in Wrexham

Worst McDonald's I've been to. Staff dawdling around, food took about 30 mins to come out. Forgot our fries and food was only just warm enough to eat.

Poor quality, very very late with order, order wrong, food was cold. Staff unfriendly and unhelpful. Will never come back!

Half the menu is never available. You have to wait stupid amounts of time even when it's not busy and when you get your order there is always something wrong or missing. Most frustrating mcdonald's ever!

Diabolical, management must be very poor. Every time I've gone here they tell you to park on the side. Then they will tell more people to park up and there is no room. Waited 15 minutes for a wrap 🤷‍♀️. I think they employe kids who mess about. Food always cold too, how, I do this know, but it is. Diabolical. Go to a different one instead.

Hit and miss with this mcdonalds always something missing or wrong with the orders. No philly cheese for me as it wasn't in the box. Use the mold one.

Long wait for food or it’s not warm enough and there is one individual on nights who i find extremely rude. I avoid here if i can Oswestry staff are much pleasant and the food is better.

I'm pretty sure no one can read in this McDonald's or has been trained! I ordered a Chilli double cheeseburger and got a plain double cheeseburger. My 4 cheesy garlic bread bites were actually 4 chicken nuggets and the apple pie was actually raspberry and white chocolate. Don't bother coming! Steer clear.

Worst maccies I’ve ever been to for a couple years now it’s been absolutely crap, foods never hot, the drive through is ridiculous and then the waiting for the food on top and to cut it off the food just gets slapped together. This place has turned into a joke and the only reason it’s so busy all the time is because it’s the only one round here. This place needs new management quickly! Management is shocking and the bins are infested with rats. Needs closing down! New management is a right tool there the only maccies that don’t allow ask mes anymore you should have the right to chose how you have your food as your paying for it! No wonder you have barely any customers anymore …. The manager is an absolute joke no wonder it’s gone to shit she looks about 12 and cares more about her make up than her job! When are they going to start staffing these places properly will never use this maccies again

Food cold even though I'd asked for the chips and food to be hot and freshly cooked

20 minutes waiting after ordering, 4 cars that parked behind in the waiting bays after us all got served. When asking inside at the till where our order was know one knew. After frustrating and idiotic responses requested a refund and was underpaid on the refund by £1.12. Joke of an operation. Thankfully will only make the mistake once of spending money here.

Food a bit cold after a short wait, No Millkshake AGAIN, No Napkins again even though we reminded them.

Every time i go to chirk mcdonalds they get my order wrong...drive thru you are waiting ages in lay-by....you walk in and you wait ages if order is wrong....staff act like they don't want to be their.....NO customer skills whatsoever 😒

This is one of the better McDonald's restaurants with huge car park, very friendly staff.

Called 4 big mac meal lrg 2 and 2 lrg milkshake 2 boxs of nuggets 20 when got back to campsite no burgers in my 1/2 filled lrg chips which thought was disgusting then drove 20 mins back to collect what I was missing asked to speak to manager but wasn't available sadly but that was an experience that nobody took any responsibilitie for and as was leaving another costmer was missing items but he only was eating in the car but we wasn't but would of been much easier if had won't be going here again absalute disgusting and no apology from the employee at all come on mcdonalds such a big company and no responsibilities gor anything going on not even an apology as manager wasn't available sad

i ordered a philly cheese stack and it come with the most pathetic dot of cheese sauce on i’ve ever seen if i wanted non on i would of ordered a big mac absolutely heart broken i didn’t get my lovley cheese sauce

Would have left no stars. Went to get a coffee, x2 pies, a mars sundae, a banana milkshake and an Americano. Only had coffee available!! Every time we visit this branch something is always unavailable. Poor management. New system of ordering food has customers waiting all over the place, it's a rubbish system that has your food waiting ages to be picked, it then arrives COLD!!! SOOO BAD. Asked first a weak coffee and was looked at as if I was a weirdo, mcds coffee us s[oo strong you need to pour half away n top up with water b4 it's drinkable. Not a good branch

My recent visit to the Halton McDonald's was unfortunately unremarkable, save for a couple of negative points. The food itself was standard McDonald's fare – nothing particularly good or bad. However, the service was noticeably slow, with a considerable wait time even for a relatively simple order. What was particularly frustrating was the seemingly inconsistent application of the 5p charge for a paper bag. While I was charged, I observed other customers receiving bags without being asked or charged, which felt unfair and poorly managed. Overall, my experience at this McDonald's was underwhelming due to the slow service and the confusing bag charge policy. I wouldn't rush back.

Don’t know what kind of children they’re employing here.. but I’d rather not pay for a cold burger that should have been fresh as I had taken off certain items and unsalted hard fries that had clearly been cooked again and again. Don’t waste your time. Go home and cook something decent. Kids running kids here.

Without a doubt... This has to be the worst Mcdonalds in the UK. I have been a few times now and its always the same... Poor staff, Poor food and its always cold!....Now I dont go at all.... Badly managed!

Took the grand kids today (2nd December) no hot drinks on milk shake s waited 30 minutes for the meal to arrive half the chips were on the tray and cold on straws or spoon s we will try the one in Oswestry next time

I know it's "fast food" but I wouldn't have minded waiting an extra 15 seconds for my burger to be constructed properly...... as you can tell from the cheese, it wasn't overly warm either. Wasn't even busy, so I'm surprised they were in such a rush

Best thing to do with this,placeis,knock it down and build houses or something every time I go told to park up on the left orders always,wrong every time avoid at all cost and the only McDonald's I know that never have milkshakes rubbish rubbish rubbish

Food cold as usual even with quick service

Every time I use the drive through they get something wrong!!! I try not to bother going however, outvoted by family I went inside to order today. Wait times were excessive and they still got my order wrong. I’d already driven away before realising they’d given me crispy chicken not grilled 😡 I hate the crispy coating 😡

Lack of condiments to go with meal oe no salt in drive through

Ordered online at 3:30pm and got there at 4pm, waited in bay 7 for 45 minutes and still nothing so I checked online and the order had gone but the money came out my bank so went through the drive through and they eventually give me my food which was stone cold and the McFlurry was just a drink because it was all melted, not the first time things like this happen, they also took money off my mum last week for share box cheese bites but refused to give her them because the worker didn’t give my mum the receipt so she my little brother had to go without half of his food because they refused to give her the money back or the food

Decided to eat in however the wait for food was over 15 mins. Not really fast food. Everything else was fine, food, cleanliness and staff were as you would expect at a mcdonalds. Only criticism was the wait for the food order.

Worst McDonald's ever. Spent £36 on my meal and only delivered 3 hamburgers and completely forgot the rest of the meal. They were cold, took 30+ minutes to arrive to in the end to give me 3 burgers. Complete scam, pure robbery never gonna come back, now can't feed everyone have to go somewhere else. Don't go to this place, completely ruined the day, robbed my money and my family's meal.

I wouldn't always call this fast food and I've had multiple items missed off drive through orders!!

Last few visits here have been disappointing. Ever since they had their refurbishment, it's not been the same. Certain items always unavailable, orders when using drive thru always either wrong or missing and when have to park up and wait for food, it's always luke warm like it's been standing while waiting to be packed in the bags. Absolute shame as this used to be the best one in the area.

Waited 45 minutes for food with many others before we were finally told the order system wasn't working. They were then not allowing refunds despite myself and others having better places to go and take our custom, so we had to wait whilst they wrote out orders by hand. During this time 2 members of staff had finished their shift and happily walked by us with their own food. Very little to no apology or empathy for the situation. Simply awful.

Took forever to get my order despite them having it display as ready for 10 minuets before it actually was.

We popped in yesterday evening (2nd November) and ordered. We sat down and saw our fries weren't salted, so we went to get some but they only had sachets of pepper. So we tried asking at the 'front desk'. We waited for 5 minutes to see an actual person. They then said they didn't have any salt in the entire building. I took my fries home to salt them there as they were too bland to eat. As we ate the rest of our meal the person cleaning started sorting rubbish behind us, talking to himself with some swears and there was children around. After the refurbishment, the place now lacks any life. The collection desk is devoid of staff and any personality being a black tiled wall, not even screen. They seem to focus on the drive through than guests dining inside. As we waited for our order, several customers came back in complaining that their order was missing different items. This happened at least 5 times while we waited. AVOID!!! Drive 20 minutes up the road to WREXHAM.

Absolute joke of a place. Done a drive thru order through the app and they gave us our McFlurrys and told us to wait in the order bay while we waited 30 mins for our food….. Mcflurries aren’t the only things that are melts so are the staff !

Worker was bringing food to me i asked it was all there she said yes, I come to four missing happy meals and your upset kids with no food, I then phoned up to put a complaint in and they said they will send me a voucher, no refund for what I paid for this is disgusting think you need to sort your staff out 😡

How come i waited 20 minutes for food that was freezing cold food 2 minutes after i ordered, i got 4 rather than 6 chicken nuggets, the burger was so cold the cheese had not melted even a little i could have pulled it whole of the burger, the chips must have been sitting for ages to be that cold, I was not going to argue the toss with them over £7 i told them what i thought and chucked all over the floor just to keep them on their feet and make them think a bit. How do they get things wrong so often as when i returned someone in front of me was complaining that they never gave him 2 cheese burgers he had ordered

Worst McDonald's in a long time. Cold food. Everything was cold. I was in a rush so couldn't go back. Food almost seemed like it must have been sitting sometime.fries were cold. Burger was Luke warm .cheese bites were cold. Terrible.

Visited for breakfast mid week. Dreadfully slow to receive our meal. Quite a few people getting annoyed as well with waiting times. Apart from that. Nice clean restaurant and plenty of parking. EV charging also available on car park.

Very poor experience on my recent visit. Order was incomplete - no spoon for flurry and no sauce for McNugetts.. When I went to the counter to request these, I got funny looks, had to repeat myself, and was given the wrong items. Also, Chicken nuggets were served in a bag that said 'Fish Fingers' on it. This is misleading about the meat content in the bag. I do not find this satisfactory. Finally, one of the crew shouted out an obscenity in the middle of the restaurant. This should be completely avoided, given that families and children are present.

Just been to drive through got 20 nuggets and 2 coffees. Guy who served us maybe needs some customer service training. Asked for some dips for nuggets, his face dropped and he pulled a face at us, as it seemed to much effort. Asked for sugar for coffee, again pulled a face, when we asked for a stirrer he huffed. Near enough threw it as us. Nuggets where hard and cold. Normally go here every Friday, won't be going again to be treated like that.

Called at the drive through yesterday morning for Big Mac n chips. It tasted old not fresh and the chips had a funny taste. The serving hatch was locked at first and once opened you could see very little activity not impressed at all. I am a regular customer and this was the worst Ive ever had.

Husband and granddaughter were there last night Thursday it was bedlam ques and 40 minutes wait on device .

The place was freezing cold, like the air conditioning was stuck at full tilt. No syrup to make toffee latte, then incredibly, no coffee at all! Opted for hot chocolate which tasted like brown water, so chestnut no chocolate powder either. To add insult to injury, opted for table service, which took over 15 minutes to be brought over. Fast food? Just slow and terrible

Food was 'OK', but they had no ketchup in the pump (or in sachets). The worst thing was the men's toilets. They were disgustingly dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. This was 7.30 on a Sunday morning.

Lovely countryside retreat. Fabulous place to bring you and your horse. Family can walk and mountain bike. Cedar, wood fired hot tubs in a couple of accommodations. Quiet, starlit sky’s.

Stopped to order breakfast, waited 25 mins for it, order came wrong, went back in to get the correct items but as it had changed from b/fast to lunch menu they couldn’t provide the missing items? The coffee was cold and not what we ordered. Staff couldn’t care less….

We asked for table service but we didn't have burgers, straws and sauces, I think the waiter who brought our order to the table had finished his shift and was in a hurry, I asked for napkins but they couldn't find any, I hope everything is ok

Restaurant has a cleaning issue, rest room areas are dirty and smell, staff are poorly trained in food hygiene and managers lack experience in dealing with issues. They can't seem to bag up orders correctly as on more the 3 occasions I received missing items. The drive though is not a drive though its a order and wait. I must say Other McDonald Restaurant are 100 times better but I would give this one a miss. Two in wrexham are good and the one in Oswestry is so much better

Shocking person serving the food in drive thru ,asked for a tray for the 2 large cokes and he threw it in car both drinks leaking coke all over my car seat ,burnt food and cold chips 😡

This is a fastfood restaurant located near the scenic A5. There is plenty of parking space. The service is very fast. I have been here twice. It is located in a quiet area. Electric car charging station is available in the parking. This is open 24x7. The restrooms are fine. This shop is always busy as there are very few fast food restaurants in this area. Good place to take a short break.

Literally went in just to use the facilities and get a drink. Clean. Tidy. No sales counter, just pay stations. Very impersonal. Not the McDonald's I remember. Very rarely go to McDonald's these days. Food sucks.

It's a Maccys, possibly one of the better ones but I hate the self service system
