Long wait at drivethrough, staff were pleasant. I asked for a sachet of salt but apparently they didn't have any!!! Food was ok although fries weren't exactly hot, warm if that

Took forever to get my order despite them having it display as ready for 10 minuets before it actually was.

We popped in yesterday evening (2nd November) and ordered. We sat down and saw our fries weren't salted, so we went to get some but they only had sachets of pepper. So we tried asking at the 'front desk'. We waited for 5 minutes to see an actual person. They then said they didn't have any salt in the entire building. I took my fries home to salt them there as they were too bland to eat. As we ate the rest of our meal the person cleaning started sorting rubbish behind us, talking to himself with some swears and there was children around. After the refurbishment, the place now lacks any life. The collection desk is devoid of staff and any personality being a black tiled wall, not even screen. They seem to focus on the drive through than guests dining inside. As we waited for our order, several customers came back in complaining that their order was missing different items. This happened at least 5 times while we waited. AVOID!!! Drive 20 minutes up the road to WREXHAM.

Absolute joke of a place. Done a drive thru order through the app and they gave us our McFlurrys and told us to wait in the order bay while we waited 30 mins for our food….. Mcflurries aren’t the only things that are melts so are the staff !

Fresh food, attentive FOH , clean store.

How come i waited 20 minutes for food that was freezing cold food 2 minutes after i ordered, i got 4 rather than 6 chicken nuggets, the burger was so cold the cheese had not melted even a little i could have pulled it whole of the burger, the chips must have been sitting for ages to be that cold, I was not going to argue the toss with them over £7 i told them what i thought and chucked all over the floor just to keep them on their feet and make them think a bit. How do they get things wrong so often as when i returned someone in front of me was complaining that they never gave him 2 cheese burgers he had ordered

Worker was bringing food to me i asked it was all there she said yes, I come to four missing happy meals and your upset kids with no food, I then phoned up to put a complaint in and they said they will send me a voucher, no refund for what I paid for this is disgusting think you need to sort your staff out 😡

Worst McDonald's in a long time. Cold food. Everything was cold. I was in a rush so couldn't go back. Food almost seemed like it must have been sitting sometime.fries were cold. Burger was Luke warm .cheese bites were cold. Terrible.

Very poor experience on my recent visit. Order was incomplete - no spoon for flurry and no sauce for McNugetts.. When I went to the counter to request these, I got funny looks, had to repeat myself, and was given the wrong items. Also, Chicken nuggets were served in a bag that said 'Fish Fingers' on it. This is misleading about the meat content in the bag. I do not find this satisfactory. Finally, one of the crew shouted out an obscenity in the middle of the restaurant. This should be completely avoided, given that families and children are present.

Visited for breakfast mid week. Dreadfully slow to receive our meal. Quite a few people getting annoyed as well with waiting times. Apart from that. Nice clean restaurant and plenty of parking. EV charging also available on car park.

Just been to drive through got 20 nuggets and 2 coffees. Guy who served us maybe needs some customer service training. Asked for some dips for nuggets, his face dropped and he pulled a face at us, as it seemed to much effort. Asked for sugar for coffee, again pulled a face, when we asked for a stirrer he huffed. Near enough threw it as us. Nuggets where hard and cold. Normally go here every Friday, won't be going again to be treated like that.

Called at the drive through yesterday morning for Big Mac n chips. It tasted old not fresh and the chips had a funny taste. The serving hatch was locked at first and once opened you could see very little activity not impressed at all. I am a regular customer and this was the worst Ive ever had.

Husband and granddaughter were there last night Thursday it was bedlam ques and 40 minutes wait on device .

Macdonalds Chirk, so clean it’s got a car park with rats. Grosssssss. Watched it for 15 mins grabbing food off the ground near the bins

The place was freezing cold, like the air conditioning was stuck at full tilt. No syrup to make toffee latte, then incredibly, no coffee at all! Opted for hot chocolate which tasted like brown water, so chestnut no chocolate powder either. To add insult to injury, opted for table service, which took over 15 minutes to be brought over. Fast food? Just slow and terrible

Food was 'OK', but they had no ketchup in the pump (or in sachets). The worst thing was the men's toilets. They were disgustingly dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. This was 7.30 on a Sunday morning.

Clean restaurant but painfully slow (20 minutes for big mac meal.. not very busy) chips were hot but like leather. Big Mac was stone cold. Asked for no ice in my drink... guess what.. full of ice. Don't think I will bother stopping at this one again.

Lovely countryside retreat. Fabulous place to bring you and your horse. Family can walk and mountain bike. Cedar, wood fired hot tubs in a couple of accommodations. Quiet, starlit sky’s.

Stopped to order breakfast, waited 25 mins for it, order came wrong, went back in to get the correct items but as it had changed from b/fast to lunch menu they couldn’t provide the missing items? The coffee was cold and not what we ordered. Staff couldn’t care less….

We asked for table service but we didn't have burgers, straws and sauces, I think the waiter who brought our order to the table had finished his shift and was in a hurry, I asked for napkins but they couldn't find any, I hope everything is ok

Restaurant has a cleaning issue, rest room areas are dirty and smell, staff are poorly trained in food hygiene and managers lack experience in dealing with issues. They can't seem to bag up orders correctly as on more the 3 occasions I received missing items. The drive though is not a drive though its a order and wait. I must say Other McDonald Restaurant are 100 times better but I would give this one a miss. Two in wrexham are good and the one in Oswestry is so much better

Shocking person serving the food in drive thru ,asked for a tray for the 2 large cokes and he threw it in car both drinks leaking coke all over my car seat ,burnt food and cold chips 😡

This has to be by far the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, 1 hour to wait for food even while it’s quiet, order nearly alway wrong, staff are useless should of bulldozed it when closed for refurb and built a kfc or Burger King

This is a fastfood restaurant located near the scenic A5. There is plenty of parking space. The service is very fast. I have been here twice. It is located in a quiet area. Electric car charging station is available in the parking. This is open 24x7. The restrooms are fine. This shop is always busy as there are very few fast food restaurants in this area. Good place to take a short break.

Best McDonald's ever been to couldn't ask for more(from a McDonald's)

Literally went in just to use the facilities and get a drink. Clean. Tidy. No sales counter, just pay stations. Very impersonal. Not the McDonald's I remember. Very rarely go to McDonald's these days. Food sucks.

It's a Maccys, possibly one of the better ones but I hate the self service system

Honestly this Mcdonald’s doesn’t even deserve 1 star. We went through the drive thru for breakfast, ordered 2 mcmuffins, 2 flatbreads, and an orange juice and fanta. Apparently that translates to 2 bacon rolls, 1 flatbread and no drink. We don’t mind if it takes longer as long as it’s the food we have ordered. It’s the second cockup from this Mcdonald’s. £20 quid of food and probably received a couple quid of it. So money wasted and time wasted.

went through the drive through .was asked to park up,waited 20 mins no other cars parked up.it was rather quiet in there too.had to go in to find out if they had forgotten my order to be met with a rather rude manager.he lied and said it was busy when it obviously wasn't busy.his attitude towards me stunk

this is by far the best mac donalds ever, i travel a lot, all over the world, nothing is better than UK macdonalds but this one is always supper busy because its good, staff always helpful,always imaculate... sit down on a table scan the bar code, on the table food arives to the table, how perfect. been coming here for over 10 years its Brill

Weirdest McDonald's I've been to. No one at tge counter. Seemed shocked they had a customer and the bloke serving was extremely awkward

Nightmare, people waiting 45mins for food, then orders incomplete. So.e people left and asked for refunds, others just left. Clearly not managed properly

Ridiculously slow service every single time! Currently waited 35 minutes so far stuck in drive through queue, it happens every time. So annoyed that I keep giving benefit of the doubt and coming back! Nothing fast about this fast food.

Food fresh and delivered promptly but drinks order wad mixed up. Staff helpful and friendly. Male toilets out of action - defaulted to accessible toilet in lieu of other options.

If you are desperate for food I still wouldn't go back. They took 48 mins for food to come. Cold and wrong order. The man who was doing the car services needs to be fired. Couldn't be less bothered about anything useless

There is one thing that this McDonald's excel in, and that is being horrendous! The service is the slowest i have ever experienced in any fast fiood establishment. Watched my order be passed to another driver for them to open and check it wasn't for them, the driver hand it back to the runner and she then hand it to us, only for the boys being hungry I'd of sent it all back. So slow there. Lad on drive through was really friendly. Food let's it down every time. Update! 3 years since I left the last review of this place and it's still a shambles! Slow service 30 mins wait for "fast food". Food was luke warm and looked like it was literally thrown in a box. Staff seemed unsure of what to do with very little leadership in the place. Half the screens weren't working, even the essential order number screen was off. All the games tablets for the kids were off or missing. And the place was filthy! I have never been to a Mc Donalds that is this consistently bad!

Not very good service. Ordered Fanta got diet coke! Ordered dips for nuggets etc not given. Had 2 teas no milk with the order had to queue for nobody to be on the counter. My tea was cold so had to re queue to get a fresh HOT one and more milk! Not very good at all today. Sorry to say .

Service was incredibly slow. We waited 35 minutes for our meal. We then ordered ice cream. Waited another 40 minutes to be told that they had not received the order from the kiosk and that the ice cream machine was now broken. We paid for the ice cream with a card and were given a cash refund from money 'found out the back.' It was very disorganised, no leadership and poor communication. The GM on shift needs serious training!

This is third time I visited and I live local . But each time there's a long wait not a problem as busy . I always take it away and I said let's check the order third time visiting and again item missing . So went back in and a young man sorted it again . I just think they need more staff that can check orders before they go out. . Denise Llangollen

Second time I've been here and they clearly need more staff. Tables are not cleared as bins are full. The staff on duty work hard but they clearly need someone front of house.

I don't expect much from McDonald's. Just food to be hot, order to be right and arrive fairly quickly. This fails in drive thru on multiple occasions in my experience. Went through drive thru 11pm last night. Took 25 minutes to get served. Chips were cold, again. BBQ sauce I asked for not given, again. Staff polite enough but it rarely seems to work well, particularly in Drive Thru. I am not a McDonald's basher as it is what it is, but my experiences at the Oswestry store are consistently better.

Good food but the drive through is ridiculous. Even when empty the staff ask you to wait parked till your food comes. I ordered a big mc meal which took 10 mins to come… I can say it’s always happens to me…

Usually a go-to McDonald's location for myself, but my last visit has really disappointed me enough to change my past review. It was 12:30am, and we were coming back home from a concert in Warwick (so a relatively long distance trip). With having to be at work in 9 hours time, we thought maccies would be a good shout as its usually a quick stop. We'd placed the order on our way and then checked in on arrival. Stayed in the car for 5 minutes before heading into the store to find only one other customer there. We waited for at least 15 minutes before we saw our first staff member who had come to give this other customer his food. It was the smallest bag you could get, definitely hardly a thing in there but he was waiting well over 15 minutes for the food. Not off to a good start. Now, being the only customers in the store, I thought it would be a lot quicker service. We were waiting an approximate total time of 30 minutes for our food. The atmosphere was awful. Granted no one was around at this time in the morning, but since the remodeling, the place just looks absolutely dreadful. You'd find more cheer in a graveyard. You're really just waiting for your food to come out of this black hole in the wall. 25 minutes into waiting, he brought the food out and then said "just waiting on the apple pies". Which took an extra 5 minutes.. a painful extra 5 minutes. After we collected the food, it was a quick journey home, and then absolutely famished, but exhausted, we tucked in. I do believe the reason you're not able to see inside the kitchens anymore is because they've turned them into archery classrooms, where your food is launched one piece at a time onto a target. From the looks of things, the staff need more lessons because a blind person could stack a more presentable burger. Overall, the new store layouts are horrible and void of cheer and the staff are snails in human clothing.

I Went through the drive in this morning. Waiting about 4 minutes for someone to take my payment. When I collected my food, it had been standing and was not hot! The sausage was burnt and egg very dry! Only the coffee was worth the wait!

Pretty much only served the drive through, the restaurant was packed with angry customers who had waited over 40 mins since the screen stated 'collect your order'. Those I saw getting their food, soon complained about missing items. I eventually got the attention of a staff member and requested a refund (they kept the original receipt) and a few weeks later, I find out on my CC bill that they didn't refund the full amout. What has happened to McDonald's, they used to be so much better!

I like that you can still ho to the counter to be served, I can not work the app thingy

Absolutely awful service, our order took 25 minutes to come out, then they brought us the wrong order and when we went to complain, the woman behind the counter tried to argue with us that the order they brought us was indeed what we ordered. Took her another 10 minutes to correct the order and the food was cold by the end of it. Sort it out McDonald's. Do better!!!

'Can you park up please' Every single time you go through the drive thru to every single car causes an absolute backlog in the drive thru. A 10-15 minute wait is normal for them to bring your food out where then the chips are stone cold. Also theirs a really bad rat problem in the 2 bins as you pull out of the car park. They've bitten a hole in both bins and are having a field day going through the scraps in the bin. I opened the bin to put my rubbish in and they are jumping around everywhere in them.

We popped into the Chirk McDonald's on our way home Friday night, after visiting Llangollen. Awful service waited half an hour for food that was cold when received, and £18 wasted. Seemed like the staff had no organisation skills or manners, and no manager in sight. Never again. I'd rather give them no stars.

Shocking, arrived around 11 ISH pm. Waited for food for about 45 minutes same as the other tables inside (round about 5) while the drive through was served instantly. When we finally got our order the food was stone cold so we didn't eat it and joined the queue for refunds where we waited for another 25 minutes to get our money back. So we spent over an hour in this fast food establishment without eating a single chip. Needless to say that we weren't the only ones and it wasn't the first time in this particular MacDonalds.

Used drive through, quick, friendly service, no ice cream though 😕 Served by CJ today, very understaffed, wait for food, poor girl was doing about 3 jobs! She was great though, still service with a smile.

Had a complaint that a Coke classic wasn’t provided and suspected an aspartame equivalent was given as the printout didn’t say classic where another customers did? Approached a colleague and rather than swapping my drink they wanted to stand and argue and talk down to me “CAN YOU TELL THIS CUSTOMER WHAT A CLASSIC COKE IS” I asked to speak to a manager to complain about the rude customer service and to my amazement it was a manager or she said she was? I asked to speak to someone else and again the next person was also rude and argumentative I just wanted the drink I had paid for. Is this really what McDonalds calls great customer service? I was served at around 11:45 on 25th June at Chirk McDonalds. McDonald’s wasn’t full of rude staff when I worked for them in the 90’s!….

Very difficult to pay with cash. Although polite, staff were confused at the idea that i required a human to serve me because i only had cash on me.

Dire. No soft drinks of any kind available. Burger was dry, barely warm and did not resemble in any way what was shown on the menu.

receipts never work from machine , them when I asked a manager for one he was rude , bad customer service, not only that but one the employees was power washing kitchen equipment right in the middle of the exit of the top carpark.

Always fast service and usually clean. Went through a rough patch of no clean tables but seems to have improved a lot.

Food delivery took standard McD time. The service was good with well-dressed and customer friendly staff. The building was well maintained with a pleasant atmosphere, and the toilets were clean and tidy.

Why do they keep changing things don't like the ordering machines have to get someone to do the ordering will have to keep using the drive through

It's just a McDonald's nothing really that good my meal wasn't that warm and the staff were throwing stuff about in the kitchen, it may have been a bad day for that McDonald's but who knows 😅

Yeah, I mean, it's McDonald's! Not enough mustard on the burger, and the chips were salted well, but a little soggy. As were the nuggets. But we were hungry, and Llangollen was packed.

They just give u the food no smile and no time for u .they just don't care they give u cold chips and the air conditioner is always on cold so you're food gose cold fast .because they want u not to stay long .they all do it. Not on !
