McDonald's in Middlesbrough

Waited 25 mins for a double sausage n egg mcmuffin. I was the only person in the restaurant waiting for food. The mcdelivery guys came and went and got theirs straight away. No communication whatsoever from the staff. When I finally got my meal then sausage was undercooked. Absolute shite at best.

Food is hit and miss, adults are in because children/grandchildren want to eat there, though adults still purchasing is because their taste buds haven't progressed. Fast service it isn't, queues for drive thru constantly are grid locking the roads leading in. Sit in customers/food delivery drivers also then can't get in and so park on outside roads causing more congestion. School pickup times are always an issue here, so avoid the area If driving. Gloomy faces on staff when you look around and most look like it's a chore to be there. My visit recently was from a random request for a child's meal deal & ice-cream and the main road was free of slow/not moving cars! Issues with behaviour here from youths in the early evening have also recently been aware of. Atmosphere - "0"

Busy when I visited and the food the same; toilets were in need of attention. Random white-van-man parking in the EV charging spaces is common; customer service flails with excuses.

Waited at the tannoy to be served while 4 cars got served at the other side who had arrived after me. Had to drive to the window to order my food. Then got told to wait for 2 minutes in parking to wait a further 15 minutes. Joke of a ‘fast food’ place

Spot on Friday nights a miss as to many kids

Better than the last McDonald's but without kids I wouldn't use the place as the food is poor quality

Fries were cold and had definitely been on the side for a long while (1530, 16th Feb). On other occasions over the past year I have had awful service on the drive through, including waiting an unnecessary time to be answered before the attendant came over the com already laughing and clearly carrying on a social conversation. Poor management and it needs addressing.

Customer service is absolutely appauling. Staff are rude and not bothered. Judge people by what they look like and dont let teenagers sit down with there food.

Hopeless as usual. Took ages, cold food and to cap it off my order was wrong again! How hard can it be?? It's not even like it's cheap any more!

Usually no problems but remember to check your order before driving away! Update,, poor staff response and food provision ( no ice in drinks, ice cream melted with sauce sat on bottom of cup), long waiting time Called today and part of ordered missed, again. Not a great place to walk in to on an evening due to the amount of sassy teenagers. They have security now but he just gets laughed at unfortunately.

They get the order wrong most of the time. I try to avoid the coulby newham mcdonalds because of this.

Never again will be ordering from there. mcdelivery service is shocking. Half food missing rest is stone cold. When you attempt to report the issue through the app they are quick to blame Uber and conveniently never answer the store phone. Correct me if I’m wrong but it’s not Uber that packages the order therefore why is this institution blaming their mistakes on the delivery service? To report an issue it says you must get in contact with the delivery driver through texts they have sent you…. And what if there are no texts? Absolutely disgusting of the workers

They really need to change their delivery system because Uber really lets the side down. McDonalds often advertise promotion on their App for home delivery but the Uber drivers don't turn up with your food and Uber is near impossible to contact, and when you do get a message through they don't respond to it. McDonald's won't have anything to do with the transaction because it left their restaurant. Uber keeps stealing my families lunch!

Once again missing something from my order, how hard is it to bag up what's on the screen and give your customers what they've paid for???

I've been calling this McDonald's the worlds worst for over 11 years. When going through the drive through, theres always, missing items and waiting in the car park. Gave them another chance and guess where I'm doing this review from? 20 min still waiting

I ordered nuggets and fries. Firstly, they took over 20 minutes to come out, secondly my chips were dry and had no flavour. My nuggets came out and had a hair on it, so I kindly took it back and asked for new nuggets . Once changed she shouted 6 chicken nuggets and shot it rather rudely on the counter. I really believe the staff need training on communication skills and how to be kind. X and spat on my face xx

Ordered a maccies inside , my co worker managed to go to kfc come back eat his kfc. Then come in and order a maccies and eat that before I even got mine. They are miserable.

Thrown together, which is becoming standard, presentation isn't a strong point across the branch. Still tastes good though and food was hot.

I always give this place the benefit of doubt, but every time an order has been placed there's something wrong. Missed items, cold food, no extras as requested or waiting for ages to be forgotten about. Terrible. I know it won't be the same experience for everyone but this particular branch needs sorting out.

The counter area is always rammed with delivery drivers. Expect a long wait for food if you don't use the drive through.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place makes more mistakes than anywhere else, sent me a mcdelivery with an entirely different meal that I can’t eat for dietary reasons. They didn’t answer the phone despite calling 8 times, they gave the wrong order to Uber eats, my partner had to drive from somewhere else to get my food as no one was helping me and I have no transport. When he arrived they asked for him to come get the wrong food they sent (over an hour ago) and return it and they wouldn’t give a refund! The audacity, when you’ve made a mistake, wouldn’t answer the phone, haven’t offered a solution, someone else has had to go get my food even though I paid for delivery, is crazy. It’s been almost an hour and a half since I ordered food, and I’m still without. Seriously needs sorting out

Claim to be 24hrs but your Nightshift team can't answer the phone? We are trying to resolve an issue from earlier today but it seems all of your speedy kitchen training forgets to train staff how to answer a phone call!

Ordered and waited over 20 mins. Wrong food was brought to us so we waited a further 15 mins. Employee came out with a scowl on her face. Nothing was said, not even a sorry for your wait or anything. Awful service

Ordered extra chill sauce dips as they always forget them in the chicken selects meal not this time they sent all dips but 20 chicken nuggets instead!! It’s literally Davey time we order so won’t be in future as the staff are as thick as a castle door …

I did not receive any four digit code therefore the delivery driver refused to give me my food even after I tried to explain I did not receive a code he tried to walk off with my food three times I was nearly crying at one point as it had been my last 26 pound and I spent it on just eat take out aged nearly crying he reluctantly gave food and at this point it was freezing

Waited in the drive through as two cars got there orders taken before me and they both had drove in after me sat for 5 minutes waiting for them to take my order and they always mess it up to and get it wrong

McDonald's Coulby Newham Is By Far The Worst McDonald's I've Ever Been To In The United Kingdom.

The food was absolutely freezing because he went to the wrong address which is the total opposite end to where my address was even though I put on the instructions that my address was on cass house road!!

Website stated 20-30 min delivery time when I ordered at 8:15. Order arrived at 9:09. All items were freezing cold. Milkshake melted. Sauce incorrect, complained on website and was offered £4.44 back. Not sure how This rectifies a completely cold

Didn’t display order number on preparing or collect screen so didn’t see the food sat there on a troller. Nobody called out the number either. Food was cold and drink was flat and watered down from the ice.

“35 - 50 minutes” delivery time. Placed initial order at 1:30am and got an estimated delivery time of 4:15 - 4:45am. Cancelled and reordered. Got an estimated delivery time of 3:00am - 3:25am. Food arrived at 3:40am was cold and half of it missing.

I don’t understand what’s going on, I’ve ordered at 1:55am, got told originally it was going to be arriving between 2:20am and 2:40am for it to be changed at that time slot to between 3:25am and 3:45am, no driver found and the restaurant is closed

Instead of a coffee, I got delivered a tea which was cold, the pancakes came with no syrup or bacon which was also supposed to be included in flatbread. No hash brown that I ordered either.
