McDonald's in Stockton-on-Tees

Not good for people with ptsd, noises of bells ,machines,shouting of staff waiting over 20 mins for two teas only,

Every time i order from this mcdonald’s (and only ever this one) there is always something wrong or missing. i actually get so annoyed when ordering mcdonald’s if ive already paid then realised i didn’t change it to portrack lane. Every time i try to complain i get so far then no further. this is due to the way the website is designed you can click automatic answers but on every device ive tried its physically impossible to click submit when u wrote in the box your issue. i spent two years previously working at a different mcdonald’s , and if your messing up this badly so continuously (and after speaking to others and reading other reviews i’m not the only one to experience this) your clearly not following the correct rules and protocols. multiple times i’ve paid for extra cheese and ended up without cheese (no sticker on the front of the food so not even like you have picked up the wrong thing, because mine should have had a sticker stating extra cheese and the ones i’m receiving should have a sticker claiming to have no cheese) also tried to call the store just to be ignored. not normally one to write a review however this is appalling and clearly a lazy store overall. also multiple times during breakfast i’ve had unpopped yolks and quite often have revived cheesy flat breads raw so took out of the oven before timer is up which is a hazard. crazy how this store is open still they don’t even get sauces napkins and straws correct

Food was OK, chips were cold but we got given replacement chips quite quickly

My grandson left his phone on tray which was cleared away without him realising until they got home. I phoned Store and a lovely gentleman answered and asked if we could track it and they would look for it. Traced to McDonald's so I phoned back and Nicole answered. She took grandsons number and said she would go out to rubbish and try and locate it. She phoned me back within 10 mins and had gone through rubbish and found his phone. My distraught grandson was thrilled. I could not thank Nicole enough for what she did as I m sure a lot of other stores would just have said they couldn't t find it. 5 star treatment

This place is really let down by the state of the disabled toilet. The floor is disgusting and the soap dispenser is broken and empty, missing a button, causing a real hygiene issue, especially as some of the staff were seen using this toilet

When you order food for £35 It comes on time Amazing then you open the bags to missing over half your items Big Mac Meal replaced for a plain cheese burger no chicken nuggets no share box spilt drinks. No chips for any of the food. And you call up and they say oh I’m sorry we will refund you. £8 not even enough to replace your Big Mac Uber delivery and McDonald’s need to re think. And put the customer first. Shambles i payed £35 for a chicken sandwich and to split smoothies Joke.

Absolute joke! Ordered mcflurrys and they sent it out without them because they turned off the machine and forgot to make it unavailable for delivery. They said they would only refund me and wouldn't send them out. They forgot my added extras on my burgers and can't even read what sauces I requested, this McDonald's has gone downhill in my opinion they never have the ice cream machine on!!! Ruined my night as I was only eating a mcflurry anyways the rest for my family was delivered either cold, missing items or just wrong in general! I work in busier restaurant with less staff and I don't struggle this much let me know if you need a hand training your staff, managers included! Shocking!

Ordered my food on Uber eats for McDonald’s app at 4pm and I’m still waiting for it

Absolutely useless Basic instructions - can we please have our food together My partner waits 15 minutes, my foods freezing. Honestly the managers all want sacking and hiring some staff who can actually cope with the job

This McDonald's is always busy especially with.uber eats just eat deliveroo etc drivers. They used to sit around taking up the whole restaurant but seems to have improved a little bit . Always long wait for food saying it's meant to be a fast food place too. Also a really annoying thing is the chips they are always cold . Ido try not to go to this McDonald's restaurant unless I really have to. I do feel sorry for the staff they do work hard and it is always so busy so they must never stop.

This McDonald's is bloody awful I can't remember the last time the food was fast. I'm writing this at the drive through and been almost 25 minutes queing for a happy meal and of course no milk shake (there never is). We used to get delivery but the order was always wrong so sacked that off. No point going in to the restaurant because it may look quiet but the just eat delivery guys in front will be picking up a million orders so you still wait forever. Its shame my little girl thinks of it as a treat so we go for that reason only, can't wait till she grows out of it.

Placed order for take away and waited in front of the counter for 25min but no sign of food. Been told they have shouted order number earlier then kept it near the drive through counter even though stood in front of the counter all those time. Staff gives priority to the battalion of delivery people who always occupy the entire counter and block everyone else by pretending like the shop belongs to them. Once the food was received there were no dips even though they are listed on the receipts and delivery note stuck to the bag. Disappointed.

No Milk Shakes or McFlurry for the kids was stuck in the queue for half an hour for nothing should have a sign or something.

Visiting today after school run. Seem the loads of scam as most in the basket unavailable as we reach the store and try to press order. Wait again in the que. We got told to wait at bay 1 for them to cook chicken nuggets. Over 15 minutes later and Noone show up so we have to design to drive off as the baby very unsettle in the car and the drive next door really park way too close no room for me to get out to seek help. Total

The quality of food is not as good as it was it's getting very expensive now where you can go to other food outlets for more and much better quality

£21 order and the chicken nugget happy meal came without the chicken nuggets, plane hamburger with everything taken off came with on lions and ketchup and fries were missing from a meal

Ordered again for 1st time in ages as they always mess order up but thought try again and guess what ordered chicken big mac as a family member can't eat beef or pork and guess what turned up a big mac honest I won't be ordering again and couldn't get through to anyone why do they always get orders wrong

Gave four stars due to the wait for food. That being said, at least it was freshly cooked and tasted like a Maccies should. All in all, a decent experience.

Fast service and the food was tasty and hot.

Appalling service - Two of us ordered separately and waited nearly 15 minutes for a muffin and coffee. They were not busy either; well so we thought…next minute 4 Just Eat drivers arrived and proceeded to take over the collection area. We had to virtually climb over their bags to get our orders, when they eventually arrived, ignorance personified. Staff didn’t have any real get up and go about then, were scruffy, showing their midriffs. I’ll not be using that one again, considering the Latte and Muffin were both lukewarm as well.

To lazy to clean milkshake machine so stop serving them poor service to avoid work. Management needs sacking

Ordered online, great delivery. However items missing and food luke warm, Unable to get them to answer phone. Rang another branch who said would be better speaking to Uber. Unsure why Macdonalds blame uber when it's them who package it up. Uber fantastic and have issued part refund

Well, how can I put this.. Went up to get the little one a Happy Meal. Personally I don't like the food, that's just me. Whilst I had to wait I had to endure some woman absolutely off her head what appears to be drink throwing up. The amount of Just Eat orders is unreal. I understand they're doing their job however, you cannot move for them. Plus it took a good 40 minutes to get a Happy Meal and a plain Mayo Chicken.

Never want to go here, especially how the franchise McDonald's supports Isreal, I'm fine with cows and chickens along with pigs being slaughtered, YET HUMANS!!!! Absolutely not, boycott it and avoid at all costs.

Terrible service and constant delivery drivers pushing past with no manners waited 7 minutes to be served then 17 minutes for food which was left on counter for few minutes with everyone looking to see what it was whilst employee was getting drinks.

Simple stuff really mcdonalds used to be a fast food service, now I spend linger changing my order because you don't have what I want in. Also everytime I eat the food I wish I'd just of cooked at home.

Always missing straws and dips to order

Always get your order right , friendly and fast service.

We always order through their app or at the drive-thru, but we consistently receive incomplete or incorrect orders. Last night was particularly traumatic because our order was delayed for almost 2 hours, and to add to the frustration, we received the wrong drinks. They never helped us properly whenever we call them to report our issue with our orders.

Had no tea so called at mcdonalds on the way home 11pm -11.30 pm . Nobody in so very quite .

Mc Donald's here is great I think. They clean up quick here, nice staff members.

One guy seemed to be doing everything didn't get his name but he was outside tidying up, inside restaurant sweeping then helped me ordet on screen and told me how to pay cash whilst others chatted in back

Absolutely appalled with this branch, 3 times in a row they have messed up. First time my food never even arrived, past 2 times it's not even my order. And the staff take 0 responsibility for the mistake. Personally I wouldn't bother with this branch as I know I'm not

One of the worst McDonald's in the area, not helped by a member of staff smoking in the outdoor eating area whilst customers were eating.

Seriously I paid for 3 sauce's only got one and my cheese bites and a hamburger was not in my bag, please hire people who actually care and not people just going through the motions and wanting a wage.. absolutely disappointed and this is not the first time this has happened but its happened enough for me to call you out on it now... mcdonald's enough is enough give people what they ordered and paid for your sauce has gone up from 20 pence to 70 pence its just not good enough!!!

Food is as usual if you collect or eat in but DO NOT get it delivered. Never had an order in the last 6 months which came without missing at least 2-3 items and you never get a refund. Tonight missing burger and McFlurry which was maybe a good thing as ,hot food was cold, McFlurry’s were all melted and just milk and everything totally inedible, milkshake melted and Fanta was weak as though ran out of orange syrup. Never getting a delivery from here again. Heed my words if you get a delivery.

Typical Mcds avoid Friday evening as it is very busy. Also watch the delivery drivers who push to the front even when their order isn’t ready.

We ordered 2 chicken select meals and payed £16. When we got our orders, we Only had the selects and no chips. I rang up to explain our situation, and the lady on the phone was unbelievably rude and wouldn’t believe us when we told her that our receipt said that we had ordered meals. I will never return to this McDonald’s again. It also took us around 20 minutes to wait in the drive through with 1 car in front of us. Ridiculous service and an absolute rip off. Don’t go to this McDonald’s

What a load of rubbish, and that is being polite. Haven't had a MacDonalds for a long time and thought I would give it a go, wish I hadn't. It was just organised chaos. What is wrong with counter service, as the order machines don't work sometimes. And the delivery drivers 😡 just push in and get seen to straight away, they should have a separate area to go to collect orders, not in the main serving area. Staff didn't have a clue, place was dirty. Did complain to the manager who really didn't care. Won't be going back to any McDonald's anywhere.

Hashbrown was not very hot and the first time I have had a bad cup of coffee. It was very bitter.

Food was cold when arrived and also gave me and my partner upset stomach burger was soggy and cold and chips where freezing and tasted like cardboard and the milkshake was basically like water.

Why advertise as being open 24hrs if you’re not? Had to use the drive-thru but I can’t as I’m in a lorry. Every other McDonalds in the country lets me walk to the drive-thru window to order, no dramas. Not this one. A hungry lorry driver keeping the country going through the night, not allowed to order a McD’s or use the toilet. Poor form of humanity.

Waited 20 minutes for my order, gave up in the end and asked for a refund. Too busy dealing with delivery drivers. Other customers complaining because 20 minutes after receiving their food, still waiting for hot drinks. I think Mcdonald's need to treat customers at the restaurant the same as their JustEat customers
