Waited 53 minutes for food. And once got it fries were freezing cold and burger bun was stale

Update 25/11. Music was VERY loud this morning. Rediculous! Won't be going back to this location. I'll go the one at Kingston Park. --------- Good food and place was clean and tidy.,the only complaint is that the music was far to loud,they need to crank the volume down.

It’s been waiting nearly one hour to my order. No one even said anything how long will be my order ready and I saw delivery driver waiting long time no one say anything. I always order online and waiting for my food so now I can know why the delivery so late because of the store long waiting that’s way delivery late coming the driver 👎👎

Ordered meals for 2 adults and 2 children at 17:21 on 19 November 2024. Waited 22mins for food provided in a large bag so assumed everything contained. No apology given for the wait. After driving away I realised that no drinks had been provided so had to drive back. I was offered food to be cooked again or 2 free meals on my next visit. I observed that restaurant was not busy but there was rarely a staff member at the desk. I have experienced longer delays and missing items here more than any other MD's I have visited. Only positive was the recent refit but that looks to only be 'papering over the cracks'.

Brand new resteraunt is nice i chose to eat in fries freezing cold burger not much better such a shame

I say the food is alright but normally this macdonalds gets the orders correct and the staff are polite.

Ordered delivery, 1 item missing and a melted icecream, other food cold too, never again

I used click and serve for my order and waited half an hour at the bay for my order but it never came, so I went to drive thru and explained all this only to be "greeted" by a rude lady who blamed me for not being at the bay when they came out. By all means if you were to use click&serve, you should expect a waiting time anywhere between 30 mins to an hour, and during this time you should NOT leave you bay even if the world is coming to an end🙄. Anyways, I got my order after all the hassle and an hour's wait. Really appreciated.

Haven't been to Gosforth Park since it has reopened & won't be rushing back in a hurry. Must have waited 15 - 20 mins for my order at drive thru. Nowt fast about supposedly being fast food!

I ordered our meals then got a message off my partner that his bloody sugar had fallen low so I asked the young gentleman if I could purchase some orange juice and he said as very happy to help. My partner got his juice then his meal, I didn’t get the young man’s name but he was very helpful to me. Thank you

Absolute disgrace..went for breakfast..Totally thrown together and dropping in grease.. mcmuffin as hard as a rock..pure disappointment...this qnd silverlink drive through all poor ..really went down hill in my estimation.. plus the milkshake machine is never on during the night..there's always something that's off tbe menu for one reason or another!!!!!

As usual. got parked up cos NOTHING is EVER ready. And obvs they give me the drinks so they could be as cold as the food I got served by the time i got home. And THIS is a LARGE fries apparently. Large box, small fries. 🍟

The slowest McDonalds drive thru I’ve ever experienced

Kicked out at lunchtime because it was closed???? Yet there was a massive herd of just eat and deliverooers piling in.. Sod off Ron!

I visited this restaurant last night after finishing work. (12:30am) From placing my order at the drive-thru to receiving it must have taken around half an hour. This was sat in the car in the drive thru lane. Once I got the food I complained at the window that the fries and nuggets were cold. After disputing the temperature since they had just been made “fresh”, the young lady serving me then checked the fries and agreed they were indeed cold. She took the fries, walked away and came back, with what should have been hot fresh fries but upon inspection it would seem I was given the same cold fries back. We were then asked to wait in the car park. More fries were delivered which were fairly poor quality, almost as if they had just been re-heated in a microwave.

Utterly pointless drive thru service. 100% of the time you go through the drive thru and they ask you to park up and you wait and wait and wait. What is the point in having a drive thru service if you can’t fulfil the orders?! Order 80% of the time is also missing something. If you want fast food, park up and walk into the place to order. Drive thru is a constant mess.

Been here twice over past couple of days with a small order. Each time I was waiting at least 15 mins.

The gave me a drink that was meant to be a sprite. Sprite?? It tasted like freaking sparkling water. Absolutely disgusting. I'm not even complaining about the rest of McDonald's but they keep giving me sparkling water with no flavour.

Absolutely disgraceful food. I found a chip and a fingernail in my McFlurry, a gherkin on my burger when I asked for none because I’m allergic, a spicy popcorn chicken nugget in my bag, and a Big Mac with no burger patty and lettuce!!!!

Do not order from here! Every time I have ordered for delivery, something is missing, I don't know who they have working there but how difficult can it be to follow an order and put the items in a bag to give to a driver, it's so frustrating because it shouldn't be that difficult to get right but every single time they somehow manage to get it wrong, absolutely shocking service!!!

ordered feed the family for 4, missing all the packets of chips absolute rubbish ended up having to make my own chips because there was not enough to feed the kids

Should not be called drive though, should be called drive through, give us your money, then park up, and wait for 15 mins. Whats the point of a drive through? Might as well have gone inside would have been quicker. I suppose a single plain burger is a difficult item to master and takes a long time to craft to perfection, especially when the store is empty and they have unlimited time. Boy still enjoyed the burger though....

Friendly and fast service and tasty food. We got sausage & egg muffins, hash browns, OJ's and lattes for 3.( Only downside was no decaf coffee). Only taking app or cash payments today as there was a nationwide problem but it was made clear by plenty of signage. (Just got cash out from the Asda petrol station ATM over the road). Thanks to the chap serving us who was very pleasant and wished us a good drive back up the road to Edinburgh 👍.

I have never walked in to a McDonald’s so clean, where ALL the staff are so attentive and polite. If any Mother or Father has a Son or Daughter that works here, take a bow… you have raised someone with wonderful manners.

3rd time in as many months. Order wrong, food stone cold, waited over 40 mins following an app order for the drive through. Seem to be more interested in their Uber and Just Eats deliveries. Always check your bag before you leave, especially when you live a few miles away. Disgusting service.

Many times had wrong order at drive thru in past . Seams to be better in that respect. Now problem seems to be with speed of service, doesn't matter how many cars are at drive thru almost always get parked up even though using app. No better going in store always wait AT LEAST 5mins

Absolutely abysmal. All tables dirty with a receipt from 9pm with us being here at 1:40am. Received my food to have a squashed moth on the back of my fries. And another fly out of my chicken nugget box. Won’t be coming back and would recommend others to do the same. Absolutely disgusting

It wasn’t delivered, I ordered it at 23.04pm and I took a screenshot at 00.55am when it said it was delivered at 1.05pm! No good and more than 2 hours and I couldn’t cancel the order when I realised it wasn’t going to be delivered in a reasonable timeframe. I have already sent just eat a few messages of complaint and I want this looked into, shocking service and liars

All the food is cold and not edible it has all been thrown into the bin and will not order from here again unless it is through the day when it will be delivered and taken care of properly the driver sat in his car I half way along the street and made me walk after paying for a delivery charge

Went through the drive through. As there wasn’t many there. Very slow service too busy mattering away. The women who took my order was lovely. But when I went to pick up my order that women didn’t even say hello. Waited at the window for 5 mins whilst she handed my order over. Even though I could see it was in her hand. When she went to hand it over she didn’t even say hello sorry about the wait or a bye just give the order and turned away. Very rude and inconsiderate. She was Asian girl didn’t get her name

Delivery never made, driver incompetent

I ordered a boat load of nuggets and fries and yet despite the 6 (six) mandatory prompts to choose my sauce they sent not a single dip. Combined with my own error of not ordering a drink, my mouth reached it’s driest point since June 2003

Absolutely horrific. As per usual. Every single time we order from here, somethings wrong. Cold food, missing items, complete wrong order. This time it was all 3. Ordered a big mac no pickles Nuggets happy meal Triple cheese burger no pickles 9 Chicken selects Fillet of fish meal with milkshake and fries. Instead we got Big mac with pickles 9 nuggets Triple cheese burger with pickles Fillet of fish with water milkshake Bun was stale Cheese burger was like mush. We didn't get any chicken selects, no happy meals and no happiness. All of the food was stone cold and disgusting. Contemplated putting it all in the blender, probably would have tasted better. Still ate it all cos was pure hungry but not happy Got the runs now as well Don't recommend

Food came was on the correct-cold temperature. Items were missing: double cheeseburger, apple pie, sauces which was a disappointment as ordered chicken nuggets and selects. This McDonald’s is usually good with remembering everything even the small bits but unfortunately not this time!
