McDonald's in Harborough

First I ordered a double bacon McMuffin which they never put the sauce on so I went in to ask for the brown sauce which they say they don’t have at all 😂 which was so funny to me since I get it everytime and offers it on the app and everywhere else so there’s the first lie and incompetents then the bacon was practically raw nearly made me throw up so don’t get to eat it in the end.

Friendly, helpful polite staff.

My family and I have been coming to this mcdonald's regularly since 2022 and I can honestly say I have always rated this as my best mds but tonight I am absolutely disappointed the service was not there. Waiting for ages at counter for then to watch as a member of staff struggled to work out orders due to putting 2 people orders on one tray for it still to be wrong and cold! Then when we received ours the chips and burgers where cold. If I wasn't hungry I won't have bothered to eat it. During this time other members of staff were ordering their dinners and being prioritised over customers. The manager stated to other member of staff you will get your order quicker if you order though the kiosk and he will sort it! And just left customers standing for 15mins. And the Toilets needed a clean.

Solid drive through. Quick and got order correct and to a good standard. Food was warm-hot.

The dirtiest McDonald's I have ever been to. Really slow service. Meal was barely warm after a 15 minute wait. The Male TOILET WAS DISGUSTING. Dirty mirrors. Filthy Sinks. Soaking wet urine covered floor. No TOILET Paper. Hate to think the state of the food prep area. Won't stop here ever again. Shocking.

Personally i like mcdonald’s as a once in a while thing. But delivery is terrible, it’s better to get it at the actual place. Fries were half full, unsalted for some reason, obviously the workers do not care. Also who takes over an hour to deliver a small meal sent from the SAME town

Foods are expensive when compared to with other McDonald branches especially the app code doesn’t work and most of discounts aren’t available at this branch

The place is never open. Advertised 24 hours but closed most nights from 11pm. When it is open, chips are always empty and stone cold, burgers are tasteless and the staff are incompetent.

First time coming here the McFlurry was barley filled with hairs and no Oreo bits inside

i ordered a triple cheeseburger( they only gave me a double) 20 nuggets mcflurry and a coke. after eating i felt a bit sick but just went sleep woke up at 1 in the morning to food poisoning and was extremely ill i would recommend staying away

It's a McDonald's. Not as fast as olda.chool McDonald's but definitely more expensive

Wasn't the fastest service and an error was made but the food was hot and fresh which is the main thing. I'd rather wait 10mins longer for hot and fresh than a fast service with cold stale food.

It's a Macs, you know the score. Burgers aren't great, mostly crushed or falling apart. Defo not a fast service, even at quiet times. As a general point, Macs is really expensive for what you get nowadays. Somehow since the start of COVID they have managed to increase the meal costs from around a fiver to best part of £10, while at the same time making the budget menu a £5 meal deal.

Coffee was like dish water. I complained got another one that. Wasn't good either. Burger cold. Fries very cold. I don't understand why food is not even look warm. But all in all very disappointed with whole experience.

My local McDonalds! Come quote often and food is always delicious. It’s not bland like others. The toilets are a bit of a let down though, as are very unhygienic. Overall, a very nice McDonald’s!

We just came back from my daughter’s performance and I suggested to get a McDonalds. We ordered it on the app and everything seemed to go smoothly. However when we got home, one BigMac was missing. This is not the first time this has happened at this particular restaurant so I would not recommend it. As I was driving, I could not check that everything was there. I would have called it in but I was tired and it is such a hassle as even if they give a credit, you have to remember for next time. Terrible service considering that we had only asked for 3 meals yet they couldn’t even check that before they handed over meals. I used to like it there but it has put me off and I won’t go there in a hurry. I make sure I have enough food at home.

Tried to use vouchers for food but they didn’t work on the self service screen, so has to go to the counter, was kept waiting ages behind another customer who was complaining his coffee hadn’t come! So much for fast food! Food was usual mediocre McD std, but you know what you get! Music playing over the system was absolute rubbish, no atmosphere!

Will NOT be coming back to this McDonalds again, ordered a McFlurry, got to the pick up window and the container was not even half full, what a total rip off, been to plenty of other sites where you get the full measure. Mc Rip-off !

It's exactly what you want and expect from McDonald's

They handled my order in some other car; they started to eat it when the manager ran there and took my order away from them. They said sorry and said they would make my order again....but it did not happen. They just walked into the shop with my bag and a few minutes later walked out with it and gave it to me. Opened the bag, and not just my order was missed...my burger was opened and missed a piece out of it....be careful if you go through the drive.

I often call in if I am working late. Usually it is OK but on 13th Feb 9.30pm I ordered a crispy chilli chicken wrap meal. Told only grilled chicken was available, so ok, well it was quite horrible. It was all tepid at best. Fries not crisp. Wrap had a very big fold over at the top, this was because most of the contents were in the wrap. Chicken was tough and flavourless. Salad unrecognisable. Tasted as if it had been lying around for a long time. Not acceptable at all. 0 out of 10 for this one.

13th Feb 2025 - member of staff on the drive-thru payment station (at6pm) was mumbling and rather rude/unfriendly to me, I left feeling unhappy. That is seriously no way to talk to customers.

Iv been going here for last 3yrs and now iv had it.the place I'd a joke!. Cold food small portion and the staff as as much use as a chocolate teapot! I work near by and the late shift are a bunch of dossers always messing about .items always missing and drinks always flat as they pour in advance. Quality and presentation is a bloody disgrace! No organisation at all ! Getting worse by the day!

Im actually really annoyed tonight, we went in to collect our food tonight as a takeaway. Staff were messing about and when we go the chips we ordered they were half filled Disappointed tonight

Dips forgotten off several of our orders. Ran out of napkins. Chips were nice and hot everything else was cold, burger, cheese dippers and festive pie. I ordered at 11:51am on a Monday so the lunch rush was not an excuse... They are happy to take your money but not so happy to help sort the problem.

I want to thank Mark so much for your help tonight! Really appreciate your help with the situation you were in and you helped out a lot by letting us warm up and get some food. With such helpful staff I can’t thank you enough and will praise you as much as I can because you really have gone above and beyond. Legend thank you soo much

Mcdonalds as usual fast food.....

I can't say that I want to come back here. The staff is incompetent, doesn't know the answers to questions and, accordingly, can't solve them. The tables and under the tables are always dirty. Visitors constantly take napkins and wipe them themselves. Placing an order with one hand and using your mobile phone with the other hand during the process. Well, that's too much. The bun in the box doesn't look like a bun, but like a salad, because you can't take it with your hands, since it's all collapsed and not assembled properly!

Waited ten minutes to be told just waiting on milkshake machine then another ten minutes to be told it’s not working so asked for refund waited for manager then suddenly it’s working. Had my food replaced as it was sat there side getting cold . Worst food ever

I bought a plain Big Mac and it wasn’t plain. How could you be so stupid to get my order wrong. I am never coming back again

The food was ok, there was a racist incident revolving two black girls who had an argument over food at the till then when leaving swearing and saying 'this place is *beeping* full of white people, full of racist'. The manager didn't bother to come put to support his colleagues at the till.

Great little macdonalds, lovely hot food pleasant staff . Toilets could have done with a clean 🙄, but overall not to bad .

Absolutely shocking experience here tonight and not the first time either. Took us over 30 mins to get our take out food! Total lack of engagement from the staff to actually take an order after the app failed. Then when we got home the Big Mac & Chicken Selects were missing. I would give this one a miss, as totally useless!!

We don’t eat at McDonald’s very often, but when we do, there always seems to be an issue with our order. Either something is missing, or when we ask for burgers without specific ingredients, those ingredients are still included. As the owner of a similar business, I know I’d face significant complaints and risk losing customers if I made this many mistakes.

A very handy McDonald's when staying at the Premier Inn over the road. 2 InstaVolt electric chargers available and a good-sized carpark. Really nice staff. 2 breakfasts over a couple of days. The flat bread was dry and boring, so back to a well loaded with tomato 🍅 sauce bun. Samie didn't like the Muffin, so back to her usual wrap. All personal presence. Had to wait it was very busy. That is a given. We are British, get in the queue, you have a number...

Seems to have gone downhill. Ordered 2 double big mac meals with hot chocolate. What we received was 2 single big mac meals with 1 hot chocolate and 1 tepid chocolate. After bringing these to their attention the food and chocolate were replaced. The burgers were pale, thin and greasy. We will not be visiting McDonald's any time soon.

Good McDonald's in a convenient location serving freshly cooked food in quick fashion. Frequently visit this particular outlet typically finding it very clean and staffed by a friendly team.

Drove through for a coffee and a jam muffin, thinking time saving. Wasted 20 mins wishing I hadn't gone in at all. 3rd time running no jam or butter in bag having to go to counter to collect. Ridiculous on such a simple order. Managers just standing around watching world go by. This has to be the worst macdonalds around. Very annoyed customer

Absolutely ridiculous. Waited so long in the drive through (30 minutes). Just to get cold - lukewarm food. Do not recommend at all. I would rather drive 20 extra minutes to Wigan to get 10 times better food and service

Absolutely horrible. We were waiting for 30 minutes STRAIGHT. For a happy meal and a nugget meal. I have been to many McDonald’s around the country but have never been to one so utterly bad as this one. I would definitely not recommend.

Cold soggy chips. Chicken burger was just fried breadcrumbs hardly any actual meat. Similarly for the nuggets. Worst McDonald's experience for ages and it was nearly empty

The food was adequate, which for any branch of McDonalds is high praise. The restaurant was very busy when we arrived on Tuesday evening around 6:30. The place was an absolute pigsty, with discarded trays everywhere and overflowing bins. Once the crowds had died down, you might assume that the duty manager would immediately get the team to clean up, but apparently not. A young lad did eventually come and clean our table, but only after we had requested it, as we didn’t fancy contracting dysentery. The toilets by comparison, were fairly clean.

Fairly quick time for getting my food, I went about 10am and they were busy with orders. Restaurant clean and staff friendly.

What can I say? McDonald's is McDonald's. You know what you'll get and you'll feel bad when you've had it.

Washroom is in service for 2-3week and making odor faul. They forgot mr burger in dine in. Thank God, it wasn't takeaway Service good but all are very busy

OH DEAR ME. In my 40 years of eating McDonald's in countless town and counties, I have NEVER been served such muck. I got a sausage muffin meal. The muffin was inedible, I couldn't bite in to it, the egg was ROCK HARD too. 🙈 Unacceptable!! This has no reflection on the young lad who served me and the young lass who I received my order from. They were both friendly and pleasant. The Tropicana was lovely... Guys, 2 out of 10. Sorry.

Every single time we come here there is always something forgotten off of the order. This has been about 5 times in a row now! Sometimes it’s as little as sauces, other times whole meals are missing or part-missing. Do the staff not check the orders before issuing them out? Really frustrating! Especially when you get all the way home to find half of your meal missing.

Good standard McDonald’s. Plenty of parking out front. About 6 x order touch screens. Screen to show order progression. Staff are friendly and efficient. Especially Danni who helped me out today. Really good customer service from her.

McDonald's is always good when you feel the urge for a burger. The dessert I love though is a Mcflurry. Wowsers love the ice-cream. It's definitely worth a try. I'm a Senior citizen but still enjoy the odd ice-cream.

we came here 14/09/2024 at 6:00pm and got out at 6:40pm I understand it was busy but 45 minutes for food is insane and It didn't taste as good as it normally does Now I may sound like a Karen but this is all true its crazy how long it took

I usually enjoy McD's and most of the restaurants I have been to, the overall quality is good. Unfortunately, this isn’t the case with the Market Harborough one, and would go as far as to say that it's possibly the worst in the UK. I have been here three times now, and the food is diabolical. Yesterday, I ordered a Big Mac meal and 6 nuggets, and the food was inedible. The meal was stone cold, and the chips were as hard as nails. There was no salad in the burger, and the only piece of gherkin looked like it had started to rot. I am not someone who enjoys giving negative feedback or reviews, and rarely do. However, this is needed because it is a big food safety risk.

Waited outside for takeaway woman on takeaway till hid Manager came out eventually got our takeaway it was cold and all dried up Appalling lack of service or care it was the first MacDonalds I have had that was disgusting Market Harbough worst food and service never again you are an absolute shambles and disgrace

No common sense in the drive thru, sat waiting ages for the car in front to be served meals when they could be moved down to the last window so that the coffees we ordered and were more than likely sat on the side waiting while we were at the first window could be served to us! A lot of times the food is never freshly made, either Luke warm or stale, numerous times they have missed things out of orders. Packing is absolutely rubbish, chips chucked on top to then spill all round the bag, burgers chucked together. Prices have gone up whereas the quality has gone down. Staff need to up their standards in the market Harborough restaurant, big time!

Sadly today...the toilets were in need of attention, the bins were absolutely full to the brim. Waste left nearby,and tomato ketchup all over the floor..just a blip I'm sure.

Had to wait quite a while for my order, then the food was not hot, and the chips had not been salted. This time, the lady serving took something off the bottom of her shoe then continued serving without washing her hands. Hygiene in this store needs attention

Just brought 2 big mac meals burgers burnt as usual ,fries loads of bad bits coffee always bitter tasting....since McDonald's started winnings sips we never get the cup they give us old ones where every other McDonald's give you them so we ask if it was finished and girl said yes so we ask why are the winning sips cups are in cup dispenser she said it was finished checked we know it not till April...today brought three breakfast meals while waiting watched the worker put burgers on hot plate with no gloves then went straight to muffins without washing hands ,they suppose to have different colour gloves for different foods this place never wears them no wonder people get ill

Service if you actually go into the restaurant is really slow, making the effort to actually park up and walk in makes you feel like a 3rd class citizen

It's pretty much the same as all McDonald's, but this one gets an extra star for the fast charging points in the carpark. Worked perfectly

Came when it was very busy, as in no tables busy. Staff coped well and with a bit of patience our order arrived hot and fresh - did take a little longer than usual but that is fine as the branch was alot busier than normal.

3 mayo chickens that tasted like cardboard little mayo inside and discoloured lettuce but chips were nice.

None of the tables were clean, manager was rude, all of our milkshakes had strawberry in them even though none of us ordered strawberry, the chicken was chewy and horrible and the manager was tight. Do not go there, it needs to be shut down.

Can’t believe this is the only McDonald’s that charge for sauces. Ridiculous!! Also the quality’s of a mc chicken sandwich meal was awful.

Regularly make mistakes with order and am usually compensated to make up for it but this time I was asked to wait in space 1 for my food. Waited over 15 minutes for food to come and 10+ cars passed in this time. Fries were cold and the McFlurry was missing (not realised until I got home). Rang to complain and was only offered a ‘free McFlurry’ which is not free as it was missing and I paid for it… nothing else they can do for me even though I explained it wasn’t a free McFlurry and I had already paid for it!! Big inconvenience as it isn’t very near just to pop in to get it. I would have expected some compensation and not just a ‘free’ McFlurry I had already paid for. Shift manager on the 18/05/24 @ 22.07 ‘SN’ dealt with the call and was not very understanding or apologetic. I won’t bother with this branch again (regular customer). Go to the A14 branch as it seems to be operated more professionally and from experience shorter wait times and never make mistakes.

It's a McDonald's, the toilets are clean, service is good, food is okay, I'm not a fast food fan, McDonald's drinks are well priced and quite good.

We ordered food in this drive through on our way from Northampton to Leicester, don’t know why the chips ( fries) in the happy meal smelled like fish oil . This is the first time we have experienced, apart from that we ordered wraps also which we don’t have any issue with them,

This is a McDonald’s local to me. It is the worst McDonald’s franchise I’ve visited. The staff don’t take responsibility for cold soggy fries.

I always stop ofv during my working day - either to eat or use the facilities bewteen appointments. Always great service, friendly staff and clean.

3rd visit sitting in, fries were cold and reheated, quarter pounder was cold to...is it really that difficult to serve hot food!!

I can’t give less than one star but service so bad. We bought pie trough out our saved points and had I fight on that for altleast 30 mins. It’s not about just a pie it’s all about customer service. So stupid staff can’t even resolve issue. They took points they don’t want to give free item.

Almost broke my neck with slippery floor surface on 9th Feb 2023. Why not put more matts down? Got bruise on my shoulder to show for it.
