McDonald's in Edinburgh, City of

After receiving my order I was informed I had 9 minutes and would have to leave, I think it should be made clear during ordering for dine in, that they are closing soon, as the app says the restaurant is open 24 hours. The food quality was good and to the usual standard that I expect from McDonald's.

Stopped off for breakfast with my kids. Service was great as we ordered from the screens, but food was served hot and fresh. Kim was our server, and it was really nice to see such a cheery, welcoming face when it's still dark outside. The restaurant was clean, as were the toilets. All in all, it was a good experience.

No drive thru and waiting time too long

Got the chicken salad and fries. The chicken breast was cold and undercooked. I returned it and was offered an alternative, big mac or 1/4 pounder. However, they forgot about it and when I finally reminded them they gave me a big mac that had been lying there a while, stone cold. Poor show!

It is what it I'd a fast food restaurant staff were pleasant and helpful ☺️

Was here 11/18/24 at night. Instead of hot chocolate I got some tasteless slop. It seems like they don't put cocoa powder in hot chocolate! What is happening to McDonald's in Scotland?!

Drive through food cold yet again from here been 3 times as its convenient, won't be back

Burgers were made well (not falling apart and all over the shop like some McDonalds make their burgers) but the chips and nuggets were barely warm and they forgot the four sauces for the 20 nugget share box. Staff were friendly at the windows.

Prompt and efficient. Not as busy as previous visits.

Good service and good fast food. Too many youngsters with foul language and complete disrespect for the staff who have to clean up after them. Certainly not a place to take your mother!

probably it’s typical McDonalds, but: i used drive through, then parked in front as they said, then after 15 minutes they bring me wrong order, then asked to come inside when we figured out everything, and then they combined me my order, but quarter pounder burger was not fresh at all, and second burger wasn’t correct.

For £12 my son got a double bigmac, a medium fries, a medium coke, some cheese bites, and a MacFlury. At past midnight, all was freshly cooked, and the young man at the counter was super smiling. I highly recommend that McDonald's 👌

This McDonald's is conveniently located near the airport and offers plenty of parking. The food meets the usual McDonald's quality, so you can expect the standard taste and consistency. However, it was quite crowded, and I had to wait a while for my order.

Food was ok but not as warm as it could have been.

Bought meal deals but when asked for coffee and a soft drink were told coffee and a soft drink were not included and charged separately for the drinks!

Fine but it took 5 years for my nuggies to get served with a kilo of sauce 10/10

Asked for one cheeseburger and one chicken burger and one coffee, 3x items at £1.39 each, I got charged £7.07 stupid youngster in drive through, never knew the menu.

Typical McDs, clean and orders processed reasonably quickly, still always quicker at drive through. The 24hrs opening times only cover the Drive Through and not the internal seating areas these close around 10pm

Just tried the McRib and it was awsome. This burger should be on sale all year round.

Ordered on the app and sat in. Did not have to wait longer before arrived. Staff polite and friendly. Very busy during lunchtime inside and in small car park.

Go to craiglinn McDs frequently and I can't fault the place. There's a great team working in there. Always a good visit .

The App was not passing on orders. Then none of the food was ready. When it did come, the sauces were all missing. Finally I was not able to collect points.

Didn't have any experience as it was CLOSED at 23;15 Don't lie you're open 24 hrs! Only Drive Thru. I don't like Drive Thru . Leaving hungry and angry 😡 I'm autistic, I don't like interac with people especially through speakers

Always get my order wrong in this location. This time no nuggets in the bag and home before i reised. Chips were terrible.

I stopped off at 10:30 Saturday on a long drive to grab 5 cheeseburgers for the family. Absolutely no service. Everyone waiting for their orders and staff seemed to be doing nothing and only concentrating on the drive through. Waited 20 mins then gave up and walked off as there was no indication I'd get food any time soon. Looking through to the kitchen areas it looked appalling. Food all over the floor and under the stations. I worked.at McDonald's 30 years ago in the busiest restaurant in Europe. We took pride in how clean we kept it and how quickly we served people. No more. Let them keep my money for nothing.

Fast, very crowded but it was a Saturday and this place isn’t far from the airport aswell as there was a large car event on so it can be forgiven. Food was just what you’d expect nothing extraordinary but the fries were definitely below average

If you want to sit and stare at staff sat down doing nothing while the queue doesn't move, this is the place for you.

Food made me feel ill. This is a road side McDonald's so no real atmosphere. And you have no real contact with staff.

They don’t have drive through anymore :( they make you wait at the parking lot rather than just give you your food at drive through. The whole point of drive through was to be able to do it swift. We waited for 20 minutes or even more watching how the poor girl was walking around the parking lot with orders searching for the right cars. Whoever had this idea needs to have a reality check. Please bring back normal drive through!

A very busy Maccies, the staff were handling the lunchtime rush easily. I used the app to order, and used an offer from the app too. Parking was tight, and busy.

Went for a sweet chilli wrap meal tasted very good and before that for breakfast I had a bacon egg mcmuffin and a late'e

I didn't go in so I have no idea about the atmosphere but the window guys were nice and it didn't take long for the order even tho the drive thru was really busy. 4 stars just because they got the drink size wrong but changed it no problem. Its McD's not the Waldorf. It hits the spot and handy on the roundabout. All good

Refused service at drive through when asked about being served at 2.45am, due to being in a work truck I couldn't fit round the drive through, was told no and wasn't their issue. Won't be back, manager is a dunce

Busy busy shop. Food was hot and fresh. Buying food for 3 people had to ask for a tray???

We were served by Kim, very courteous and well mannered young lady who was very patient and helpful.

It's a classic McDonald's but...the toilets are dirty. And the worst: we came for breakfast, we took an easel and put it on our table. After an abnormal wait, I went to the counter. Our tray was cooling down nicely there. No one bothered to bring it to us. No apology from staff.

Drive through isn't a drive through at all - you have to 'park up' almost every time. Even if you order a single item on its own.

McDonald's in Newbridge is a solid choice for a quick meal. 🍔

Gotta say this mcdees has slipped in recent months. Service is slow and if you ask for dips, double check since you might get nothing or a random selection anyways. Only since the new system came in have these issues occurred mind you. New system to speed things up. Yet you wait longer now. Maybe teething issues. But at least when the order is right, it's good and warm.

Don’t understand how they are so incapable of ever getting an order right. Hardly ever go to McDonald’s but any time I’ve passed this one and tried to get food they have got it wrong. Literally a meal for 1 and they can’t get it right.

Food always wrong, staff have no idea, cold food, I could have caught the chicken and made the chicken burger myself quicker.

Consistently good food. Only downside is getting out , road is terrible ( not mcd's) fault. Potholed exit road and trying to turn back to the roundabout at peak times is painful

It's McDonalds. The food was mildly warm and the milkshake machine wasn't working. It's the same as every other McDonald's.

Dined in on Saturday and they were having system issues. They tried running my card multiple times and their system freeze and they had to reset their system. They reassured me my card wasn’t charged since the order didn’t go through their system and onto their monitors so I went ahead and paid cash. I checked my credit card today Thursday and noticed I was charged. I called in to see if they could do something about the charge and the girl I spoke to said there’s no way they could have charged my card and literally hung up the phone on me. I tried calling back multiple times without an answer.

Surprisingly it was quite good for McDonald's, and hot, the fries barely came out of the fryer and that's a pleasure

First UK drive-through experience. The screen wasn’t working well, but after a long travel day, some Mickie D’s to go was the move.

Waited ages at drive through window was over charged by £1.99 then when I opened my breakfast meal it was totally smothered in tomato sauce so all I ate was the hash brown, waste of my time and money won't be back. This WAS my favourite McDonald's not anymore.

Obligatory pass point next to the gas station before returning the rental car to the airport. Allows you to eat and drink coffee or tea

I find myself surprised to give 5 stars to this place but here is why: The location. It's a perfect pit stop on your way to/from the airport. Car park is never full (although I've been here only a couple of times) Else is all what you expect - McDonald's will never suprise you, but also will not disappoint. I'll be back once it's on my way.

Burger and fries were very fresh. Order was incorrect and sent back. Atmosphere was small and crowded with few seats.

Lobby was disgusting. I ordered for table service and made me go up and get it as my food was sitting on the counter getting cold. I fell whilst walking in. They have McDonald's belts on and it's weird😬.
