McDonald's in Edinburgh, City of

First filled half of the cup and then when asked why is it half filled topped it up with water, as you can see in the video it’s more water than milkshake, absolutely looting customers and food quality is the worst

Got our food quickly and it was all hot and fresh and tasted great.

Very fast service, hot food, clean tables.

Can't even get a simple order correct, no wonder they can't get anything thing right where putting a very broken English speaking person on the drive threw speaker. At the best of times it's hard to understand

The service is horrible. Normal for Mc Donald but this place is the bottom.

Nice meal, but was given a lukewarm regular Latte when I'd paid for a large hot Latte!

Used this drive through at 5am on an airport run and both the attendants I spoke to on the drive thru were super friendly - particularly appreciated that given the time! Service was quick too.

My family and my friends called in today on Easter Sunday for a qwick bite before heading back down to England after a day in the city.. Food was great spot in.. Much better then my local McDonald's.. But there was a member of staff doing free face painting.. Natalie I think she was called.. Absolute great with my daughter and made her smile with her face painting.. The staff member is a credit to the establishment 👍

They served FAST. THE ICE CREAM IS WORKING :O AND YOU HAVE A GREAT VIEW FOR PLANE LANDING. PLEASE VISIT

Rude staff member at second window. Deliberately not giving people adult minecarft collectibles. I order 2 adult minecraft meals and both came without toys. I drove back around the drive through with my disabled child to be treated like a liar and asked for receipts etc even although she served me 2 minutes prior and packed the meals without the collectibles. After providing her with my receipt, She then asked me to take a space and wait (for 2 toys) and I refused. She handed me a McDonald's bag and I drove away and again only 1 toy was in the bag unbelievable. AVOID at all costs

Great place for a quick snack whilst leaving Edinburgh Airport late evening. It's just as you would expect - bright, cheap and cheerful but filled the immediate need for food.

Always busy, but fast service. If you have kids or you like airplanes you can watch them landing while eating your burger.

Absolute joke this place, had to wait for my food, then. They gave me my mcfluffy which melted before the actual food arrived, then i had to go back in to get the food they missed from the order then i get home and find out there is no sauce in the order, totally incompetent in their jobs.

McDonald’s discriminated against my disability and breached equality act law for refusing to make reasonable adjustments and accommodated my allergies. They refused to allow me to get dairy free cheese instead of ordinary cheese with my quarter powder. They are favouring people who don’t have allergies and I have been told it’s there policy to discriminate against those with food allergies. This is unacceptable considering other McDonald’s are willing to substitute ordinary cheese for vegan cheese. You need to do better and I will be taking this further

Checked before we went that it was 24hrs but we couldn’t get in the building so joined the drive thru queue. When we made it to the speaker we sat for about 5mins and no one spoke to us (it wasn’t blocked off other anything). The people at the other speaker were ordering just fine but the people in front of us didn’t get to order either.

Clean McDonalds, open 24 hours, toilets clean. Took a while to make a single McFlurry when not particularly busy, but they got round to it in the end.

Service always slow order always wrong and it's not like it's ever a difficult order

After receiving my order I was informed I had 9 minutes and would have to leave, I think it should be made clear during ordering for dine in, that they are closing soon, as the app says the restaurant is open 24 hours. The food quality was good and to the usual standard that I expect from McDonald's.

You can only go through the drive-thru as a car, not as a pedestrian, even though the restaurant only offers the drive-thru. Biggest nonsense rule I've ever heard. We were really hungry, but they didn't indulge. I don't check, it doesn't make sense. 0/10 Too bad

Stopped off for breakfast with my kids. Service was great as we ordered from the screens, but food was served hot and fresh. Kim was our server, and it was really nice to see such a cheery, welcoming face when it's still dark outside. The restaurant was clean, as were the toilets. All in all, it was a good experience.

No drive thru and waiting time too long

Got the chicken salad and fries. The chicken breast was cold and undercooked. I returned it and was offered an alternative, big mac or 1/4 pounder. However, they forgot about it and when I finally reminded them they gave me a big mac that had been lying there a while, stone cold. Poor show!

Was here 11/18/24 at night. Instead of hot chocolate I got some tasteless slop. It seems like they don't put cocoa powder in hot chocolate! What is happening to McDonald's in Scotland?!

Drive through food cold yet again from here been 3 times as its convenient, won't be back

Burgers were made well (not falling apart and all over the shop like some McDonalds make their burgers) but the chips and nuggets were barely warm and they forgot the four sauces for the 20 nugget share box. Staff were friendly at the windows.

Good service and good fast food. Too many youngsters with foul language and complete disrespect for the staff who have to clean up after them. Certainly not a place to take your mother!

probably it’s typical McDonalds, but: i used drive through, then parked in front as they said, then after 15 minutes they bring me wrong order, then asked to come inside when we figured out everything, and then they combined me my order, but quarter pounder burger was not fresh at all, and second burger wasn’t correct.

For £12 my son got a double bigmac, a medium fries, a medium coke, some cheese bites, and a MacFlury. At past midnight, all was freshly cooked, and the young man at the counter was super smiling. I highly recommend that McDonald's 👌

This McDonald's is conveniently located near the airport and offers plenty of parking. The food meets the usual McDonald's quality, so you can expect the standard taste and consistency. However, it was quite crowded, and I had to wait a while for my order.

Food was ok but not as warm as it could have been.

Bought meal deals but when asked for coffee and a soft drink were told coffee and a soft drink were not included and charged separately for the drinks!

Fine but it took 5 years for my nuggies to get served with a kilo of sauce 10/10

Typical McDs, clean and orders processed reasonably quickly, still always quicker at drive through. The 24hrs opening times only cover the Drive Through and not the internal seating areas these close around 10pm

Just tried the McRib and it was awsome. This burger should be on sale all year round.

Go to craiglinn McDs frequently and I can't fault the place. There's a great team working in there. Always a good visit .

The App was not passing on orders. Then none of the food was ready. When it did come, the sauces were all missing. Finally I was not able to collect points.

I stopped off at 10:30 Saturday on a long drive to grab 5 cheeseburgers for the family. Absolutely no service. Everyone waiting for their orders and staff seemed to be doing nothing and only concentrating on the drive through. Waited 20 mins then gave up and walked off as there was no indication I'd get food any time soon. Looking through to the kitchen areas it looked appalling. Food all over the floor and under the stations. I worked.at McDonald's 30 years ago in the busiest restaurant in Europe. We took pride in how clean we kept it and how quickly we served people. No more. Let them keep my money for nothing.

Fast, very crowded but it was a Saturday and this place isn’t far from the airport aswell as there was a large car event on so it can be forgiven. Food was just what you’d expect nothing extraordinary but the fries were definitely below average

If you want to sit and stare at staff sat down doing nothing while the queue doesn't move, this is the place for you.

Food made me feel ill. This is a road side McDonald's so no real atmosphere. And you have no real contact with staff.

They don’t have drive through anymore :( they make you wait at the parking lot rather than just give you your food at drive through. The whole point of drive through was to be able to do it swift. We waited for 20 minutes or even more watching how the poor girl was walking around the parking lot with orders searching for the right cars. Whoever had this idea needs to have a reality check. Please bring back normal drive through!

A very busy Maccies, the staff were handling the lunchtime rush easily. I used the app to order, and used an offer from the app too. Parking was tight, and busy.

Went for a sweet chilli wrap meal tasted very good and before that for breakfast I had a bacon egg mcmuffin and a late'e

I didn't go in so I have no idea about the atmosphere but the window guys were nice and it didn't take long for the order even tho the drive thru was really busy. 4 stars just because they got the drink size wrong but changed it no problem. Its McD's not the Waldorf. It hits the spot and handy on the roundabout. All good

Hassle fee visit after a long day of delayed flights.

After flight home we all need a McDonald's.

Ordered placed and paid in the app, collected at the drive-thru everything went smoothly without any delays.

Refused service at drive through when asked about being served at 2.45am, due to being in a work truck I couldn't fit round the drive through, was told no and wasn't their issue. Won't be back, manager is a dunce

Busy busy shop. Food was hot and fresh. Buying food for 3 people had to ask for a tray???

We were served by Kim, very courteous and well mannered young lady who was very patient and helpful.

It's a classic McDonald's but...the toilets are dirty. And the worst: we came for breakfast, we took an easel and put it on our table. After an abnormal wait, I went to the counter. Our tray was cooling down nicely there. No one bothered to bring it to us. No apology from staff.
