No customers in and a very long wait for under par quality food

Went to McDonald's in Larne for a latte. Place was spotless and even though there was quite a few people in, there was a good atmosphere. Lattes are great in McDonald's Larne and always get them when I'm there

Wrost McDonalds I been to!! Been in the drive threw for like 30 minutes!! Ordered and payed and went to collect food NOT ready so we had to wait another 10 minutes! So slow! Food was great but, time it took. It usually takes 5/10 minutes to go threw drive threw not in that one.!

Got order wrong, 3rd time in a row. 🤷‍♂️

Shockingly slow ,25 minute wait at 2pm on a Sunday, asked for red sauce , grunted at by staff that it was in bag , needed more as kids luv it but nope.no fruit ,had to swap for ice cream which didn't want ..slowness was excruciating, and there was loads off us in same situation..

Horrendous! Tables and floor were stinking! Food was cold and greasy! Order was wrong and things missing! 🥹 definitely won't be in a hurry back!

My family and friends arrived at Mc Donald’s in Larne on 7th May 2024 at 10.40 pm noting closing time was at 11.00pm so we quickly placed and paid for our order only to be told that we couldn’t eat inside, I voiced my annoyance to a member of staff which didn’t make any difference , the food was delayed until 11.05 pm absolutely stone cold and we’re forced to sit outside in the cold to eat it! If they had advised us before ordering that we couldn’t stay in the warm to eat it at least we could have went somewhere else more accommodating, We won’t be back!!!

Sometimes they are very slow when I am only getting a coffee.

I've been nearly 10 times to this McDonald's and there has only been one time where they have got my order correct. This morning I ordered a breakfast meal which took 20 minutes to deliver and they forgot the hashbrown...

Just wish our meal was hotter, this happened to us both last week food was cold but decided to give your storr the benefit of the doubt Was watching your new advertisement a few days ago -come on McDonald's u spend all that money on an advertisement and come to think of it baps would be a lot more browner sorry this did not happen either Let's hope that you do read our comments

I usually always have an easy experience here, the restaurant is handy to get to as well and the sit in area is always very clean and well attended to. The staff are always helpful and the drive thru service is pretty good. However, there has been numerous occasions where dips have been forgotten or parts of my order. I ordered a wrap of the day meal and by the time I got home I only realised that the chips and drink were in the bag but the wrap wasn’t there. There has also an occasion when I paid for a meal on the app, yet this McDonald’s had no record of my order despite it being paid for with proof of purchase, the manager said that there was nothing he could do - left without any refund or food that was ordered so had to complain online. Overall, the food itself is decent - however, service needs to drastically improve for a better rating.

Lights went out when I was about to order 22.45 guy on till ignored me had to wait in queue until cars in front got served

I recently ordered take away from McDonald's and I must say, I was impressed. The food was warm and delicious, just the way I like it. The flavors were on point and everything tasted fresh. The service was quick and efficient, making the whole experience even better. I highly recommend McDonald's take away for a satisfying and tasty meal on the go!

Slowest mcdonalds ever, machines are always broke so ordering is a nightmare. Once you do order, you've to wait nearly 20 mins to get your food. It's always cold, and thrown together. Only about 2 staff that are actually wanting to do any work and make an effort.

Well situated McDonald's for both car and foot customers. Modern and clean with large car park.

Generally a pretty busy McDonald's and the drive thru moves quickly enough, however you can sometimes be standing waiting a while if picking up inside. The car park also has numbered spaces so you can get delivered to any parking space but this is generally the longest wait in my experience. The building is new so it's modern and bright inside although not the biggest. The orders are usually accurate and well made so I would recommend it in that sense.

Okay, went through the drive through, the woman said they weren't doing drinks, but 2 windows up, there was a car who had received drinks, we asked the staff at that window if they served drinks, funnily enough, they DID serve drinks, McDonalds needs to sort their staff and their honesty.

Food warm and delicious but waited too long

Had to go to the desk to pay as opposed to paying on the machine as I didnt have a card. Stood waiting for ages to pay and no staff ever came to assist me. Multiple staff gave out orders and walked past me etc. when I asked one I was told that they "will get someone now" although this never happened. I then had to wait even longer (mind you that this was not a busy time at all) Eventually I had to wait for a worker who "is able to use the till" to enable me to pay for my order. By the time I was able to do this I then had to re order verbally. I asked to take out but was given a table number and advised to sit down. Food took ages to come and the chips were freezing. Didn't even bother taking them back as I just wanted my grub. This place is like a youth club too many immature youngsters working here without enough supervision. Definitely will not be returning.

I always have a great experience when I visit a McDonald's. Food is tasty and quickly served by pleasant staff.

Lovely people who work there very friendly and food always lovely

It's McDonald's their chocolate milkshake and hot chocolate my main reason for going. The staff are great very helpful. And if they can't sort you out they quickly get someone who can. I try to go about twice a month to sit in. But have been known to do a quick drive through. For a milkshake or hot hot chocolate.

Was pretty empty, only ordered one item that still took in excess of 15 minutes to be served. Tasted as you’d expect from McDonalds

By far the slowest and worst McDonald's I have been to so far. Made my order paid then drove to the next window were you would usually collect the food, was handed my drink and a straw and then asked to drive to another window were I waited 10 minutes, I was the only car in the drive through, I actually was starting to think they forgot about me but I eventually got my food and parked up to eat it. The burgers looked as if the person making them was throwing the ingredients from one end of the kitchen to the other, everything was a complete mess and the food wasn't even warm. Then to add to it I had the runs all night after eating out of this diabolical place. Never again!!!

worst mcdonalds ever. every time you visit the drive through you will be sent to the waiting bay, even if the drive through is empty. Also a 90% chance your order will be wrong so you need to check it all... often the chips are cold/soggy... if you live in larne and want mcdonalds you will be quicker going to carrick. seriously larne mcdonalds , lift your game now...

Every time I am visiting Larne McDonald’s and I’m ordering for takeout there is something missing.

Typical McDonalds in some ways - ordering screens on the way in, counter to order at if you don't have a card or intimidated by machines. Our order was delivered to our table, but was wrong. Was quickly rectified. Only one place to leave our tray and rubbish afterwards. Food was typical McDonalds fare, cooked and presented to usual McDonalds standards.

I would like to thank Peter customer services for being so genuine and helpful every time I go in he's busy cleaning and always well dressed in his uniform I think that he deserves recognition from management absolutely great guy McDonald's is lucky to have him👍👍 well done peter

A place I'll never vista again. Very very slow service and not one person happy working in the place.

I’m not a regular at McDonald’s so when I pull up and there’s no menu and they don’t know where the menu is, it doesn’t really help me out. Never offered sauces, fries not salted (maybe in the US we just like our fries overly salty I don’t know), make sure you ask for napkins otherwise you’re left using your T-shirt. At least they are open late.

Ordered 2 main meals & 2 ice creams. Received 2 happy meals & 2 small milk shakes. Granted I should have noticed when it was handed to me. So tired that I didn't notice till I got home where 2 kids were waiting on their meals. Phoned McDonald's who said if I came back they would exchange the meals. The meals were cold when I got them so would have been freezing and only fit for the bin by the time I had time to go back to McDonald's. They asked for me to (wait for it!!) Bring the cold happy meals back and have them exchanged for what we ordered. It's way out of my way to do so and I have 2 children waiting on food so I said they would eat them and they could refund the difference. Poor poor show all around McDonald's!! 👎

I gave one star for food because I didn’t get the chance to try it as the drive through ordering system is poorly monitored and managed. The manageress was not impressed on being pulled up on this and refused to give me my food. I ended up taking my money back and going to KFC. The other staff were great - I pity them having to work under a bully. I will be taking my complaint further within McDonalds management. She refused to give me her name and slammed the windows so loudly on me that I literally jumped. I’m not surprised at the poor review rating.

Pleasantly surprised. Our meals were lovely and warm ! Served at till by lovely fella called Blair I think his name was. He helped with order as I'm never in McDonald's. Bravo 👏.

Sorry guys but my last couple orders have been diabolical Nothing been right in my orders at all Tonights order was disgusting and freezing cold too fries are either over salted or not at all the fries have been cold and stale also Uber driver was saying theres enough staff on but dont care enough about the the mcdeliveries and there sat for ages, the lack of care shows Definitely won't be ordering anytime soon Very disappointing

Poor service , exceptionally long drive through avoid at all costs

Messed up the order 4 times, one of those was correcting a previous mistake. Don't recommend. Avoid if you don't want to be stressed.

We went through the drive through yesterday afternoon and placed the order and eventually got to the point to pay then i was asked to go to the next window were i was given the drink and told to go to the next window were i sat for 6 minutes . when the order was handed to me ( a kids chicken nuggets and chips with ketchup and chilli cheese bites )it was cold and no ketchup . when i complained all i got was a gormless empty look from a kid behind the counter . this is the absolute worst unit in the uk . i said awhile ago i wouldnt be back but my partner said give them a second chance , so i did and this is what happened . i'll never be back . the system wont let me leave no stars otherwise i would leave zero stars .

It's McDonald's. What do you expect. Like warm food, poor service. Staff look at you as if you have 2 heads if u don't use the self-service as they are too busy talking at the back. Groups of teenagers taking up seats and sitting eating a chip between 6 or 7 of them

We were then handed the wrong order and told ours had been given to the wrong car. They then switched to the lunch menu and told us we would have a further wait. Not hard to get a simple order right. Absolutely atrocious customer service today 15.06.23! Got asked did my card payment go through even though I paid in cash was then told to get out of the car & come down to the first window to talk to the girl who took my money! By the time it all got resolved my food was freezing! Won’t be back! Absolutely humiliating

The young Asian manager who was working the drivers side this afternoon is one of the most rude & obnoxious human I've ever met. He's either heavily on the gear or his mental health is about to cave with working long shifts. Seriously needs a good sit down with himself, not a good person to be around atm. Apart from that, carpark and inside looks clean at least.

Enough points to get a free cadbury creme egg mcflurry and very good free wifi to download 4 hours of videos before getting the ferry

After a year and over 6 meals in the bin, after giving the benefit of the doubt of training new staff etc. I just can't anymore. Last 2 burgers straight into the bin, specifically state no cheese everytime and everytime It comes with cheese. I change the order such as adding bacon or something else so they have to look at the instructions and still they manage to get it wrong. So much money and time wasted as I have to go purchase a meal elsewhere. No attention to customers needs and lack of attention to the food.

Lovely sausage and egg McMuffin breakfast delivered quickly to my table. Nice and quiet. Efficient friendly service

This is the most middle of the road McDonalds I have ever been too. The food is average, drive through times are slow & the customer service is somewhat lacking. However, I will continue to go back as this is on my doorstep & I like McDonalds.

I was not impressed, the order taking station was not working or nobody responded.had to reverse to next station,then I waited for 10minutes,then they forgot my drinks..come on catch a wake up..

I'd say at least 95% of the time my order has been wrong. The only order they seem to get right is then one for my wee girl which is a happy meal.

Called in Friday 3rd March. Great service, polite courteous staff. Lorna? (Apologies if I got name wrong) was especially helpful and was busy clearing tables etc.

If I could give it 0 I would. As someone who works in customer services, I am appalled at how I was spoken to earlier tonight! To be ignored and have 2 other cars, who arrive after you, served first was enough reason for me to ask why 2 other cars were served before me! After being told that's a different headset (like that's supposed to be an explanation) I said OK, but why were they served before me? I was shouted at, I'll get a manager, I don't get paid to deal with this s**t! After 5 minutes someone then came back to the mic to tell me I was blocking the queue and refused to come out and speak to me. I then drove around by 2 windows she wasn't at before I sat at the 3rd window for a further 5 minutes while she hid out the back but eventually came to speak to me. She was really unhelpful and just got me even more annoyed! I would never put any specific names in a review and very rarely do reviews but these 2 ladies, really need to change their attitudes. I will never be back! 👎

It's a McDonald's albeit one of the better ones. It can be a bit slow to get food but everything is as you expect. Clean, consistent and everything you would need. The ability to get Uber eats is great if you live local and the app can help you with some offers and points. One major positive is that the coffee isn't half bad and it's a decent price.

Food is always great, staff are always friendly & helpful & service is quick. Restaurant is always clean & tidy....

Order wrong again, since it opened I think I've had one order that was right

The worst McDonalds in our wee island by a million miles. We have gave them many chances and every time they get the order wrong. We have never completed our order in < 12 minutes or correct. They also reuse old food. I had to get my Burger replaced because it was stone cold and they replaced it with a greasy box and a burger that already had a bite taken out of it and was even colder. Gave up and went in the bin. Absolutely rotten, just like the tables and in the store. Where are the managers hiding? Your staff need guidance. I will never return. KFC Larne it is, unfortunately!

Me and my friend decided to order from McDonald’s by calling them we were in the middle of our order whenever they randomly hung up. We were devastated because we had been there so many times and it was amazing so we just ended up getting kfc.

Burger was cold , no napkins on the tray. It was reasonably clean. A lot has changed from the above statement. The fries were lovely and warm and napkins in the order. The staff were pleasant and fast service.

Every time I go through the drive thru it's good service always welcoming and food is good. Don't know what people are smoking and giving bad reviews for. I guess people just like to complain lol like grow up fricking snowflake

Should be called a dive-thru, not drive-thru. Called in here mid - afternoon today for a very late lunch, after traveling to Larne to collect an item from the town's Argos. Hadn't realised the McDonald's had relocated to a brand new store, after I saw the original one is now a vets? Whilst I was waiting for my order, it was hard not to notice just how filthy the store was. Food squashed into the floor in several places, and notably across the floor by the main entrance. Many tables with used trays/empty cartons etc just lying around..albeit it's possible that customers just left them there as every bin was overflowing. Ketchup & BBQ sauce dispensers looking like a kids play area.. It took 13 minutes for my meal to arrive, and I changed my mind from eating in(funny that), so requested it be bagged to go. During this 13 minute period NO cleaning or clearing was done. I have to then wonder for just how long before & after my visit did this remain? It's pretty bad management for them not to not be concerned by the state of the place, and alarmingly the previous customer reviews 🤷 which clearly isn't bothering them? They do not deserve a brand new store, in fact if environmental health called on an unannounced visit, they may cease to have one. My crispy chicken burger was cold too, but I wasn't going back in to complain - couldn't wait to get away from there. My local McDonald's store in Coleraine by contrast is clean, inviting and efficient - even during busy periods of which they've many. Poor show Larne👎

Ridiculously slow service mostly 15-20mins. I can understand when they first opened but at this stage it's just unacceptable. Very poor management. Wrong/incorrect orders constantly. Edit 31/10/22: 15 minute wait for one cheeseburger & fries ordered on the app with no queue either. Sat in the bay as usual for 1 burger & fries. God help anybody with anything more to order🥴

I am addicted to twixes and when a twix mcflurry was ordered today they said that they had done away with them. I am infuriated and will never be back. I have had to suffice with a twirl instead. Never again and I am sueing. Have a good day.

The worst McDonald's ive ever been too,waited over an 3/4 of an hour on 1 cheese burger,which was cold,Awful service.

I have been here 4 times over the past couple of months and the service is really very slow, I won`t be back. I use the drive through, and it always has a queue, sometimes onto the main road. Had to wait 45 mins for two quarter pounder meals on one occasion, and it wasn`t even that busy. I was stuck in the queue, so I just had to wait, no way out. Chips are always over salty, and not very warm, some of the staff almost hurl the food at you, and lots of swearing can be heard from the staff, when you are waiting at the window. Out of 4 visits I have never been able to get a milkshake, they always say the machine is broken. I am not impressed, and I won`t be going there again.

Waited 40 minutes for breakfast, finally got fed up waiting and went round the drive thru to be told there was no record of my order and there was no breakfast left. Not to mention the many wrong orders I've received previously.

The wait for the food is very long, and the last two times the burgers have arrived cold.

I've had atleast 6 wrong orders here since it opened, and I haven't been many more times than that. The staff can't seem to comprehend to not put cheese on the burger, even getting digital orders wrong. They also had the audacity to imply that it was my mum's fault they got it wrong due to how she worded it at the drive through. Also heard they re-rack wrong orders without reheating them... even nibbled food. This was confirmed when they gave my friend 6 cheeseburgers instead of 2. 5 were warm and one was stone cold and already nibbled. Absolutely digusting, won't be back.

Ordered a chicken wrap at 12.57pm bearing in mind there was very people in waiting and had to wait 15 minutes for one item . Fast food ?? Ur having a laugh . I've had constipation come and go quicker than this place. Mc Donalds has already failed once in larne ,anticipate a second time .

Very slow service. The screen showing when your order is ready is out of sync when the food actually comes. Not good.

Every single time we use the drive-thru it is ridiculously slow! Brand new premises with huge lack of efficiency and never so much as an apology from the staff!

Great service and quality service

Was waiting over 45 mins for a breakfast meal. And paid a extra 90p for a large coffee and it was half full.

Managed to mess up an order through the app 3 times. Had to give the order back and ask for it properly everytime. 3rd time the staff have messed up an order that contained adjustments to a burger. Was acceptable at the start when they'd just opened but it's getting ridiculous now
