McCarthy's Bar and Restaurant in Isle of Wight

We went at short notice for Sunday dinner. Staff welcoming despite the fact that we had not booked. A traditional roast dinner with a choice of 4 meats. Big portion, cooked just like your grandma would have done it in her prime. We were fed up, as our day had not been working out so far. You really saved it. Thanks so much

Overall a good place to go but the toilets are freezing only bad bit, staff are great.

Here on holiday and have eaten here twice. The food is absolutely amazing, we have traveled within a group of 11 and all ate last night. The food was quick, really well presented, extremely tasty and the waitress was just brilliant. We will definitely be coming back before we leave.

Garlic mushrooms were nice, decent outdoor space, fast service nice looking chicken giujons
